Everything could improve from the sense of urgency to self awareness/presentation. I went here two times. Each time, there were mouth breathers who seemed lost or unhappy. The person in the front of the house this am was sloppy and inefficient. It who anyone wants around their food. Sadly, I've left both times due to the extremely slow service so I haven't experienced the food. The place is also as dirty as the employees and their uniforms. This is anything but fast food. As both times also sucked 15-20 minutes waiting for something that never came. Perhaps the mgt should pay more to attract better talent or just close as it's a great location. Every now and then I get a hankering for that little burger. This was the day. I placed my order (#1 four Krystals, fries and an Unsweet tea) hoping the simplicity of my order would translate into a quick experience. There was only one car ahead of me in the drive thru, so this should be quick... right? I don't know what the car in front of me ordered but I sat behind them for 8 minutes just waiting for them to leave. And this was just after NOON, the lunch rush hour. Fast Food Managers, if a customer places an order that takes over 10 minutes to fill at a fast food drive thru... make them pull ahead to keep the line moving. Just a suggestion. I wound up just driving off without my food because it was only a craving (that I didn't need) and I wasn't interested in waiting God only knows how long to get it. The absolute worst Krystal's I have ever been too. The employees don't care the least bit. I had such a bad experience, I will never support another Krystal's for the rest of my life. I hope this place goes out of business so a legit business can move in with some dignity and class. You could put another Chick-fil-a here and it would do double the business on a Sunday. Pulled up at 10pm. No one in sight. Sat for a few min before I was greeted. Was then told I'd ave to wait if I wanted food. Ok. About 5 min passed. I worked a 15 hour shift at the hospital. I was starving. I waited... Employee gin on the horn out of nowhere, " You Ready?!" I was shocked, but asked where they about to close because it seemed she didn't want to help. She said, "do you want food or not?" All of this very rudely and disrespectfully. I pulled up to talk to her face to face, but she refused to acknowledge me. I copied the 1800 complaint number, but stayed on hold for so long I gave up. Had to pull over in my car to write this and get it off my mind. After reading the other reviews with similar experiences, I wonder how this place stays in business? I hope you never come here so we can get a company who cares about their community. This could be 3 reviews. First, there's Krystal as a chain. The food is borderline inedible. Ever have a great burger? How about a good burger? Krystal burgers are neither. The patties are gray and pretty much tasteless. Sliders can be tasty as well as fun and Krystal burgers taste so bad, they can't be fun. The fries were pretty bad too. I've had worse, but I've had better as well. I won't be going back to explore the rest of the menu. Second, the location. This Krystal felt a bit worn out. It wasn't dirty, but it did have an old feeling, like the ownership was proud of it, but didn't care enough to keep it updated. Lastly, I liked our cashier. She was prompt and friendly. I haven't been to a Krystal in so long. I always drive by this one, but never stopped by. I finally did today. Because it's been a while, I needed a few seconds to review the menu. I asked the cashier on the speaker for a moment and she said okay. A short while later I told her I was ready to order and it immediately seemed like I was bothering her...by trying to order food. I came to this location tonight. Cashier placed me on hold at the speaker in drive thru, but did not realize her headset was still on. She played around talking to other co-workers for about 2 minutes then came back on the speaker to take my order. I asked for 4 Krystal burger with cheese no onions. She was still playing around and laughing so I politely repeated my order. I waited an extra 2 minutes after paying for my order, but I was fine with that. However, I should have checked my order. When I got home there was onions on all my burgers. I called to speak to the manager, Alex. I told this manager about the issue, but she stated I had to return tonight to get the food remade. I told her I live far away and I asked is there another location I can go to that they own. She said no rather rudely. I said okay while can I.....then she hung up while I was in mid sentence. I had an epiphany leaving Krystal.... maybe the minimum wage is too high. I'm positive these folks are getting paid too much to do whatever it is they are doing in there. I kept hearing comedians talk about how much they love White Castle / Krystal burgers. I had low expectations, and still went away extremely disappointed. It appears that this location in particular is even worse than most other Krystal locations. I don't feel bad writing this review because I'm confident the staff there clearly doesn't care and more than likely can't even read. I will write in short sentence fragments just in case there's a glimmer of hope one of those ding-dongs does read this. Ordered at drive-thru. Repeated order at window. Repeated order again at drive-thru. Employee asked for too much money. Corrected employee I still wanted the same thing I had ordered three times. Received wrong order. "Food" was not food. 5 hours later.... used bathroom 3 times in 20 minutes. I usually joke when I eat mediocre food or my mothers cooking that "eh.. it'll make a turd." On Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at about 6:35 PM, we stopped at the drive thru at this Krystal's location. There were two cars ahead of us while we waited to place our order. And we waited. About 10 minutes later, the first car moved on to the drive-thru window. The second car took about eight minutes to order, then moved on. At least that's what it looked like. By this time there were three other cars behind me. When I got to the speaker to place my order, I was not greeted. I said hello?? No answer. One minute later I said hello again. Again no answer. Another minute I said hello and again no answer. So I said screw it, I will go somewhere else to eat. I have such a love-hate relationship with Krystal's going back a long way... I love the taste. I hate waiting on the drive-thru. I love the price. I hate the heart-burn. Yet, I keep going back. Guess I love to the torture/pleasure of the whole thing. This location is a little of a ways from the interskrate (yes, spelled that way on purpose) but close to where N. Druid bumps into Lawrenceville Hwy. It kinds sits off by itself and looks to be an older location. I can tell you, the parking lot and entrance/exit are a little awkward. I think it has to do with the elevation but it just seems weird. Go there and you'll know what I'm talking about. This location is never packed. I've never seen more than 2 cars in front of me for the drive-thru. That rocks! However, they are slow and make it seem like there are 5 cars in front of you. But, I guess that's par for the course for Krystal. Never in a hurry, ever. Food has always been fresh and they always get the orders right!! Now, I like that! And, the staff is always friendly. 2 big pluses there (and better than most other locations). Every time I drive by I just stare and my mouth starts to water. I should just keep driving, I know!! The cashier repeated somebody else's order and then argued with me when I corrected him as to what I had actually ordered. I paid and was told to wait again while they prepared my order. My first time coming to this location which was about a month ago my experience was decent but this morning my experience was bad. The cashier was very rude to me in the drive through I asked for the breakfast toast combo she said "what do you want on it?" I said "I want the bacon and egg one" she said "ok so only bacon and egg?" I said "no, doesn't it come with cheese?" This is, without a doubt, the worst fast food establishment I have ever been to. I am a restaurant server who has boundless sympathy and respect for those who make up the backbone of the food industry as a whole. It is emotionally and physically exhausting and people suck and treat you like shit sometimes. But that is no excuse to making people feel like a burden and a problem. That's how I feel every single time I visit this Krystal. When I ordered from Uber Eats, I had cold Krystals, a flat and iceless Dr. Pepper, and I was missing my fries. I know it wasn't the driver's fault since I live down the street and it only took him two minutes. I gave it one more try today, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt (maybe the employee(s) were having a bad day?
