    Hand-cut moxie fries

I went in for a burger at the end of the night around 8:30 PM on a Thursday. The place was empty except for a couple of people who are getting up to leave. The place was clean yet it does have a bit of a bar smell which is expected because they have a in-house bar. I ordered the "homegrown" which is a vegetarian option. The menu is a little confusing with regard to the homegrown because it offers black bean or portobello. I was thinking that the black bean was the patty, and the portobello took the place of the bread. However you have an option to have the portobello or black bean as a patty. So I just got the black bean and the hand fries. They were delicious cooked fresh to perfection! I couldn't stop digging in my box eating them on the way home. But once they cool, they are not very tasty so I popped them in my toaster oven to reheat and they livened back up. The burger was good. I felt like the feta was overpowering with not enough other flavors coming through. I opted for ciabatta bread instead of plain white bread and it was very soft. I'm sure people who come here mainly come for the real Angus beef burger so my review won't mean much. Lol But for the vegetarians out there, the burger is just alright. I've had better. Perhaps I should've opted for the portobello patty. lol

Sweet Potato Fries w/ sweet chili mayo

First time at Moxie Burger and my Yelp app didn't let me down when we didn't know where to go while out of town on Valentine's Day. The objective was avoiding the crowds. My wife and I pulled in to Moxie about 40 minutes prior to close. They had a decent crowd, but nothing that scared us away. The small bar side with several TV's was lively. To my knowledge, this is not a chain restaurant. Walk up counter service was very friendly by a young man who helped with menu selections. Ultimately, I went with a Moxie burger and side sweet potato fries that comes with a sweet chili mayo dip. My wife got a plain n burger with no side. They offer soda and a full bar menu. I thought the value was good not great, but will reserve my opinion until after I weigh in on the food. The dining room is casual and it was clean with staff working to clear tables and sweep floors. Always a good look when you see this. Our food came out in around 15 minutes. I immediately went for the sweet potato fries, which is a favorite and plunged into the sweet chili mayo. Wowsers!!! The burger packed a punch and was delicious! My wife enjoyed hers equally. Both were perfectly medium well. Although it is set up as a fast casual, the cashier did swing by and ask if there was anything we needed, and how everything was. At my request he brought another container of the sweet chili, mayo that I adored. My wife and I concluded we were impressed with the overall operation of the business. So with high praise of Moxie I'm thrilled to provide a 5 star review. If we lived in the area, we would absolutely make Moxie a regular.

I got the Cadillac burger and zucchini fries. The burger had a lamb patty, which was pretty good, not dry at all and cooked to medium rare. I like the mushrooms the most, grilled in sauce. Chill and casual environment. Plenty of seating and couple of TVs for sports. They got burgers, beer, salad, and variety of fries. I like the weekday deals like $5 drafts. The parking lot is limited but there's street parking nearby.

After a long afternoon at Fernbank (natural history museum), we wanted good food without a long wait. Based on Yelp reviews, I called Moxie as we were wrapping up at the museum and learned that there was no current wait. It's a "slow food" experience where you order at a counter and are handed a number placard to place on your table after you seat yourself. We were two adults and 4 children (two littles, one big kid, and one preteen), so we pushed to tables together to get the needed number of seats. Everyone had a sandwich of their choosing and we got a few shareable sides. I wanted a salmon BLT but they were out of salmon patties, so I ended up with the Olympian (a chicken sandwich, see pics). For the most part everyone enjoyed their food. The fried pickles that the preteen ordered were a table favorite. Reason for the star deductions: As I ate, I began having an allergic reaction. I'm still not sure what my body reacted to, but one eye swelled and became extremely itchy. Because I was the driver, we drove straight to a CVS for me to get some allergy medicine. The meds calmed the itchiness but it took a few days for the swelling to stop. My friend who was with me (the other adult) also reported that her stomach was upset later that evening. The experience overall at Moxie was fine but our bodies said otherwise. Probably needless to say, but I will not go back.

We stopped by Moxie Burger after Porchfest, and it really hit the spot. The serving size is great... I think the quality is pretty decent. The sweet potato fries were AMAZING. In Atlanta, I've been trying to go to a new place each time I go out to eat, but I will say I might have to actually come back here if I don't feel like searching for a new burger place, because I know it's good.

Decided to order here after I was craving a burger. I got the Moxie well done, with Moxie fries. The burger was good, not amazing but definitely good. The fries though...they were really good!

The restaurant is always a little cool for me but the burgers and margaritas make it worth it. They don't have strawberry margaritas but have an awesome raspberry margarita. You can pick a sugar, salt, or tajin rim! I got my burger medium well and it was still too pink for me so I ask for well done. I love being able to customize my burger. The sides are always ample. And the employees are professional and friendly.

Really great quality burger and excellent house cut fries. Nice ambiance in the back outdoor patio. Definitely a great place to get a nice flavorful burger, some fresh fries and they had some good beers on tap. Low key but with quick service and quality food, it's definitely a nice vibe. Especially when the weather is agreeable. Don't sleep on this one.

Noticed a couple of weeks ago that the Moxie Burger on Dekalb was open. We decided the next week it was time for a burger. We walked in, grabbed a menu, ordered, and found a seat. The place has two dining areas. We picked the one in the front. Then our burger and onion straws with petal sauce arrived. Single patty, cheddar cheese, mustard, pickle, tomato and onion. We asked for the Moxie Sauce on the side. The Onion Straws are served with a their "Petal Sauce". The burger was cooked exactly as ordered. The condiments were exact. The tastes were perfect. I would omit the mustard next time(they have it on the table) and still have the Moxie Sauce and the Petal Sauce on the side. Yes, I liked the Petal Sauce on the burger also. The onion straws were awesome. I have been searching the city for these little jewels. Wee almost fought over them. It got down to splitting the last one! They were also good in the Moxie Sauce and the Petal Sauce. Next time a large order of onion rings will be ordered...if we don't order a side of fries and a side of onion straws. Fries on the table next to use looked great! Service was quick, friendly and informative. Of course the restaurant was clean as could be as it is really new! Highly recommend. Can't wait to return.

This isn't just a gimmick, though; the execution is legit. You can order a single or a double, and each patty is smashed fresh to order, delivering those lacy, ultra-crispy edges that define a elite smashburger. It's cradled in a potato bun that gets toasted to a perfect light crisp. They even offer generous toppings at no extra charge. Do not skip the sides or the extras here. The fry seasoning is incredible, packed with savory flavor that makes them impossible to stop eating, and their onion rings are a solid choice too. But the real secret weapon is the Sassy Sauce (or "smash sauce"). Do yourself a favor and get a cup on the side for dipping. it's that good. While it's tucked inside a convenience store, there's actually dedicated patio seating set up right behind the gas station if you want to sit outside and eat fresh off the grill. I'd take this over Mister Burger. NFA has that classic ketchup, mustard, and mayo flavor with its signature sauce, while Mister Burger is tasty but leans away from that traditional burger profile. I'm not ready to call it the best burger in Atlanta just yet. Fred's Meat & Bread at Krog Street Market is still my favorite, but Holeman & Finch is next on my list, so stay tuned. My only downside is the Dunwoody location, but honestly it wasn't bad. I made the trip from Buckhead and back in under 30 minutes. There were only two people ahead of me, and I had my food in about five minutes. I've heard the waits can get much longer during busy times, so just keep that in mind.

I dont know why it's "korean" since it tasted like a normal cheesesteak but with a few jalapenos. I also wish they added in more jalapenos (I got like 3). 2) Garlic Fries with Ranch: - PROS: Very nice texture with a crispy outside and fluffy inside that is not too dense. The flavor comes from the garlic mince that is on top. The ranch is like a mixture of an aioli and tartar sauce (I think they make it in house, correct me if I'm wrong). - CONS: Inconsistent texture as some of the fries were dense but a few had that good hollow crisp bite. Quite oily too. Overall, I enjoyed the cheesesteak but would probably skip the fries next time. I do believe it is good especially the bread. I don't think it is worth all the hype it gets, but it is good.
