Love Angie's Place! It's my go to spot for a delicious home style breakfast. I typically get the 3 wing breakfast plate with eggs cheese grits and a biscuit and it never disappoints. They are typically busy on the weekend mornings but i very have to wait more than 5-10 minutes to get my order which I appreciate. Ordered take out through Uber Eats app. I ordered the waffle and chicken tenders and my coworker had the chicken biscuit with a side of grits. My coworker liked all of his food, said the grits was really good (wish I ordered some ), just wish they would have gave him some jelly. Luckily we had some in our office. My food was okay, mid at best. The waffle was made well but the flavor was lacking, the tenders were a little too salty for me. The most sad part for me was they didn't give me any butter for my waffle ‍‍ how do you not put butter in an order with a waffle. Everything needs to improve after waiting almost 30 minutes. I simply cancelled my order. I heard the food is coming every 4 minutes. I don't understand. The lobby area was full. Clean on the inside but parking lot is trash and filled with holes. You can feel safe because Dekalb is always present. You will always find what you're looking for as well. Okay I wanted my mom to try a different fried Chicken other than KFC. I found this place on Yelp because it was on my way home. The reviews were good when it came to the chicken the sides not so much. So the first thing I noticed is that no one spoke to me when I walked in for an uncomfortable amount of time. The place is very small but there are about five people and an L-shape kitchen area. The cashier was new so I understood her reluctance because she was putting together an order behind the counter. A customer actually had to say, "Hey there's somebody here who wants to order." I ordered the 5 piece all dark, just chicken special $6.99. I added a side of green beans which was okay, nothing special. The premium order of collard greens was so spicy that I couldn't even close my mouth. It was ridiculous. People should be allowed to add their own spiciness level to their collard greens. I didn't finish them I didn't want them and I threw them away. The food is good, but they do not answer the phone. I try to call ahead and order and always get sent to voicemail. I decided to order through DoorDash to expedite the process and pick up. It was the best thing I've done yet.
