WTH!!!! McDonald's? I came to the driver thru tonight. I got the 2 cheese burger meal. Yelp family, this has got to stop with these fast food chains. When I finally got the meal. I thought it was for my 1 year old granddaughters. I mean look at that dang COLD burger. It's not just cold and mini size it look like somebody used them as a seat cushion. I don't like McDonald's anymore anyway. They where the only place that was open. I only get the oat meal sometimes for breakfast. But after getting that cup a while ago, I'm going to have to stop being sorry and make my own. Because then the cup wasn't even half full. Everything could be improved on: service, food, and system. There was an extremely long line, and they had two lines of drive thru going to the last drive thru window. The staff was pretty rude. The chicken nuggets tasted off, like they were stale or old. They weren't hot or crispy either. On the bright side, they gave me two sauce packets so that's one positive from this fast food experience. The small oreo McFlurry were pretty filled. I was trying to pay with my McDonald's app, but when I gave them my one-time code, they didn't do it right because it said my coupon was used but they said it didn't work. We gave them the drive thru code and did it how the app said. Honestly, if the store can't handle being operated at such late hours because of lack of staff or even decent service, they should reconsider how long they're open for to uphold such standards. read more

I order the burger patties by themselves and that can be difficult at some McDonald's locations as the staff doesn't always know how to enter that... or insists you must you the kiosk that does not have the a-la-carte menu on it. This location has multiple employees who can easily take that order and are super friendly. The vibe is very welcoming and it feels like there are many regulars who appreciate the friendly and helpful staff. read more

Stopped by to redeem a voucher I had for a free medium free. The cashier was friendly and quick to complete the order. Even though the fries came straight out of the fryer, they were still so quick to cool down and become cardboard-like. This is the best McDonalds you will ever eat at. I work at the hospital and I became a regular here so fast. It's always clean inside, and the folks here know me by name. The service, kindness, and quality of food is absolutely unmatched. I have never had McDonald's even close to this quality and this one is so good it ruined other locations for me. This is a fundamentally different experience than regular locations. They blow me away every time. I don't know what the negative reviews were smoking to not enjoy this place it's peak. I ordered on the mobile app. Pull up and nobody answers the speaker, I then wait at the window for about 20 minutes before somebody finally comes up and asks for my mobile order number...only to come back and say that they threw away all the food and is switching over to breakfast and I'll have to get it back through the app. No offer to compensate for a breakfast instead or anything. I went in there Sept 6 during breakfast hours. I thought I had plenty of time to get to my next appointment. So I order inside and then realize after a good while I am just watching a severe case of "the slows". The drive through line was way backed up. I finally realize Im going to be late to my appointment now because of stopping here. Still no sign of my order which was simple 2 sausage muffins and a coffee. I have lived nearby this mcdonalds for 4 years and never stepped a foot in. Out of curiosity and craving some burger, I wanted to give it a shot. It is open 24 hours, right on major north decatur road at clairmont road I got artisan grilled chicken meal. Cant go wrong with grilled chicken right? It was fine expect the sauce was too liquidy and dripping all over me. If It was not a takeout and i didnt eat it home, i would looking to wash my hands immediately. I feel that eating a burger shouldnt be this complicated. Based on location (decatur/near Emory), I expected a decent place. It was very old, not updated and nice as some of other mcdonalds I have been to. If they update the place, I think they can get a lot more costumers here as there is probably higher demand from students and professionals compared to other areas. I also noticed that the people preparing and serving the food were not wearing gloves. Not sure if it is common practice in McDonalds as I rarely go to mcdonalds. but come on. Also I noticed how generously they put salt on my fries. They taste darn good but I think I am not coming back again. read more

The ice cream machine at this McDonald's is always and I mean always down. Once or twice here and there is no biggie but everyday? I suspected more is going on so I did some research. We came at 3:30am, which we figured it being 24 hours wouldn't be a problem, but when we came to order there was a sign to come around. Finally when we made it to the second window, employees were sitting in the dining area talking and one motioned to us to keep moving. One got up and came and said they weren't serving food "at least not right now." Very unprofessional. So clearly they are not 24 hours or at least do not serve customers at certain times. read more

I'm not ashamed to admit that I frequent this McDonald's at least twice a week. Need a snack after pumping gas? Need coffee before Chocolatte is open or after Chocolatte is closed? Need night-after-drinking breakfast? Yes, please on all counts. I haven't found this McDonald's to be particularly slow. It is a bit sketch by Decatur standards, although it's North Decatur and not Decatur proper. Often at night there are folks who look homeless here, though only one one occasion has anything particularly creepy/disturbing happened regarding said demographic of patron. Otherwise, it's lots of Emory students and hospital workers and high school students from Druid Hills High. I like that the workers seem to have a good camaraderie with each other. I also like that folks remember my standard order and can associate my voice with my order when I go through the drive thru. read more

The staff is really nice, but kind of slow at this location. I asked what type of sauce they had and the cashier looked at me like she saw a ghost. I am not that pale! All I wanted (well not really) were some chicken nuggets to feed to my starving kids. If I had passed somewhere else with a drive thru, I would have gone there, but this was my only option. When I pulled up to get my 20 count, I was handed a small bag with a small fry. I asked the guy why he was handing it to me and he said "Because this is what you ordered." Really? I showed him my receipt and he said "Well, who's fries are these then?" I finally got the nasty tasting nuggets and some high fructose corn syrup aka dipping sauce and was on my way. Terrible performance via delivery tonight. Ordered three burgers, all three were wrong. Funniest thing is that one of the specifications was no bun on any of the burgers, all three came with buns, and on the order sticker stuck on each in big black font that you can't miss if you tried was "No Bun". Oh and I ordered an extra patty on my two double cheeseburgers and received what were clearly just old singles wrapped and put under the lamp. I get that it's McDonalds but the blatant lack of effort and regard for providing the correct product warrants no stars. read more

Horrible. Horrible app and horrible service. Not fast, not accurate. Not fresh or warm. Let's start with the app not ordering the food until I got in the drive through. They had my order at least when I got to the drive through but it still took them more than 15 minutes to get me my food. I saw several car behind me have there order process before I got my food. After the 10 minute mark, I put my car in reverse to go back to the window and they had forgotten about me. And when I got my order it was not hot, but warm. I thought well at least I got my food. Get home and most of the order is wrong. The app doesn't have anything to say my order was wrong. I would have to go back to the restaurant and have them waste more of my time. Hell no!!! Don't go to this McD's. There are better ones in ATL. The extra drive is worth it. read more

But I come to this one anyway because their milkshake machine is never "broken" late at night. This is the worst McDonald's I have ever visited. We sat at the drive-thru window forever watching the employees goof off. The fish sandwich was edible in a square processed fish, round bun, too much tartar sauce sort of way. The french fries were horrible. They were not edible. They were stale and greasy. Just because someone is holding a broom does not mean that they are sweeping. The broom is a prop to make people think they are working while they are socializing with co-workers. They will look at you occasionally while they continue to goof off. The employees seem to go out of their way to prove that you aren't worth their time. This McDonald's really sucks. read more

These guys fulfilled my midnight cravings excellently. My food was hot & delicious & the drive thru staff was super friendly.

The customer service was terrible. The young black lady with blonde dreads had me waiting at the speaker for over 25 minutes and never said anything to me. Mind you I was waiting in line already for 30minutes. Therefore I pulled up to the first window and no one was there and then I pulled up to the pick up window and one of the workers told me that they couldn't take my order and that I had to order at the speaker. The lady with the dreads had an attitude and started yelling that she was going home & wasn't going to take anymore orders or make anymore food because of whatever reason. I found that extremely unprofessional and how she spoke to the other employees was disrespectful. The lady with the blonde dreads need to be removed from this establishment immediately. Her attitude and lack of service e slowed down the service and will cost the business to lose a lot of money. read more
