Since this place is off the belt line is not a bad place to stop and get something to eat or drink. The service is pretty quick, under 5 minutes per order. The food is really good on taste. So, Shake Shack is always pretty delicious, but I had a couple minor complaints about this location. The first is that they had a few kiosks to order, but literally half of them were broken or not functional in some way. The second thing was that the bacon on my Smoke Shack burger was undercooked and rubbery. Beyond that, the actual atmosphere there was pretty nice. I finally got around to visiting Shake Shack after a workout on the Beltline and I had someone with me to enjoy as well. We decided to go on a bike ride on the Beltline and while approaching Dekalb Ave I saw Shake Shack and made up in my mind that I was going to have that today. After returning the bikes an hr later we decided that walking a mile back to Shake Shack was worth it. Before even walking in I was greeted with a sign advertising these new shake flavors they had available that immediately caught my attention (specifically the Oreo Funnel Cake flavor). Once inside we ordered on the kiosk which has become my preference in some places. It was quick and easy. I ordered the Bourbon Bacon Jam Burger ($9.39), fries ($3.99), lemonade ($3.69) and of course the Oreo Funnel Cake shake ($6.69) as well. My date had the Smoke Shake burger ($8.49), fries ($3.99) and the root beer float ($5.99). After having the Bourbon Bacon Jam Burger, I must say, it was a flavorful journey that left me wanting more. The burger, crafted with 100% Angus beef, was a perfect blend of juicy goodness and savory delight. Topped with crispy onions and their signature ShackSauce, the burger's taste was elevated to new heights with the addition of the delectable bourbon bacon jam, which featured the delightful taste of Maker's Mark Bourbon. With every bite, the distinct flavors of the ingredients danced harmoniously on my palate. The sweetness of the bourbon bacon jam beautifully complemented the savory beef, while the crispy onions added a delightful crunch. The ShackSauce tied everything together, creating a burger that was both satisfying and memorable. It was evident that Shake Shack takes pride in using quality ingredients to create a burger that truly stands out. The fries that accompanied the burger were nothing short of perfection. We parked in the parking garage and even saw a "Tiny Door ATL" art installation near the shake shack which was really fun. The restaurant itself was really nice and very clean. Tons of seating both indoor and outdoor. Clean women's restroom. The food has never disappointed us - we love the shackburger and chicken shack - we think it's one of the best chicken sandwiches. We try them everywhere we go but shake shack's is one of the best. Great piece of chicken, perfectly seasoned, delicious pickles (and my husband hates pickles, lol). This is a review of the Korean menu: the Korean style chicken sandwich is excellent, flavorful and crispy, not too spicy, but enough heat to let you know it is there. Highly recommended! In contrast, the Korean BBQ Burger is a disappointment, a boring ol' cheeseburger with a vaguely Korean brown sauce on it. It looks nothing like the picture. THERE IS NOTHING "BBQ" ABOUT IT. The cheese and sauce don't pair particularly well together. The fries are laughably bad, like something you would get reheated at a little league concession stand. I have eaten here a bunch, it's always approximately a 3.5-star experience. Not as fresh tasting as the original shack in New York City. read more

As you walk in, you order your food through tablets located at the front, grab a table number (plastic tent card) which you also place that number in your order and then pick a table. I ordered the Chicken Shack and fries (average), which you have to pay separately. And the drink (half/half, which was lemon water to me, blah) is also separately priced. The fam and I were in downtown Atlanta for the day, and so I yelped the closest Shake Shack and ended up at this beltline location. We parked on the street and took the stairs and ramp down to SS. The space is big and they offer outside seating in their nice, large covered patio. We were greeted upon entering and placed our orders using their tablets. It was very easy to use and we were finished within minutes. You also have the option of ordering at the counter. I ordered the following: ShackBurger $5.69 Cheese fries $3.99 Black Sesame shake The one thing I love the most about SS is their consistency! I've never had a bad experience at any SS locations and the food is always on point. Of course I devoured the burger and fries and sipped my shake throughout the meal and took it to go as well. I'm not a big fan of black sesame flavor, but since it was their new flavor at the time I decided to give it a try. Shake consistency was great as always, and the flavor was good. You can find this restaurant on the Eastside Trail between Edgewood and DeKalb Avenues, just south (within short walking distance) of Krog Street Market and StudioPlex Alley. Shake Shack is located on the ground level of the luxury apartment building Edge OTB. Free parking is located inside the Edge OTB garage. Enter via DeKalb Ave. This is Shake Shack's fourth Atlanta area location and it opened in April 2019. Shake Shack calls this their Old Fourth Ward location, but I think it's technically in Inman Park. It's actually right on the border of the two neighborhoods. I've been to the Shake Shack in Buckhead (Georgia's first Shake Shack) and I enjoyed my experience at this Shake Shack more. For starters, this location is more spacious and laid back. Though not a big deal, parking is closer and more convenient. They have a sizable covered patio with plenty of ceiling fans and games like ping-pong and Jenga. The build-out is modern, featuring tall windows, sleek light fixtures, and several TVs. And it's neat that it sits directly on the BeltLine. I'm a fan. You walk up and place your order at one of six tablets. The displays were bright, crisp, and responsive. The touchscreen menu was intuitive and easy to navigate. As first-timers, we had no problems placing our orders. There were friendly Shake Shack employees in the vicinity in case anyone needed help. You can see into the kitchen through the wide pick-up counter/window. Staff behind the counter were welcoming customers as they made their way in. Whether dining in or taking out, you'll be notified by text message (you have to submit your phone number during the checkout process) when your order has been received and when your order is ready for pick-up. The staff will also shout-out your name when your order is ready. Along with card, the ordering kiosks accept Apple, Google, and Samsung Pay. You can also order online and pick up in store. During our visit, burgers ranged in price from $4.89 for a single-patty burger to $10.49 for the Shack Stack (more on this outstanding burger below). They also sold chicken sandwiches ($6.89), chicken nuggets ("bites"), "flat-top" dogs (chicken or beef, split longways; $3.59-4.99), crinkle-cut fries ($2.99-4.89), concretes (frozen custard blended with mix-ins, $4.89 single or $6.99 double), shakes ($5.29), and more. They don't serve alcohol, but they do serve drinks like root beer, flavored lemonade, and organic tea and apple juice. All of Shake Shack's burgers are cooked to medium temperature and served on Martin's brand potato rolls. The ShackBurgers I've tried have been consistent between locations with good flavor and fresh ingredients. For a simple and reliable burger, these suffice. Shake Shack's Shack Stack is where it's at. The burger was heavy, but incredibly delicious. It was messy to eat with all the melted cheeses oozing out once I broke through the crisp-fried portobello batter. The Shack Stack may sound and/or look gimmicky to some, but it works. The flavors and textures all meld together nicely. It's an amazing burger and probably in my top five in Atlanta behind Holeman & Finch, Fred's Meat & Bread, and Farm Burger. The bacon cheese fries were good, but not something I was crazy about. My fiancee liked them more than me. I prefer my fries simpler and would have been just as satisfied with plain fries and ketchup. If you want to all out though, the bacon cheese fries are worth getting. They give you a good amount of crispy bacon (torn into small pieces) and melted cheese. The fries come with a wooden fork to help you eat. The Pie Oh My concrete was fantastic. Five percent of the sales of this particular concrete go to the nearby Giving Kitchen, a local non-profit that provides emergency assistance to food service workers. I think it's great Shake Shack incorporated local H&F Bread Co's pecan pie into this concrete. It tastes as good as it sounds. The frozen custard was dense, smooth, and creamy and the chunks of pecan pie were substantial. I couldn't get enough of that hard, buttery crust and luscious pie filling. My friend and I came on opening day to try the new Shake Shack by the Eastside Trail extension of the Beltline. I had never had Shake Shack so was looking forward to trying it. The restaurant is located right by the bull sculpture. To order, there's a ordering kiosk right behind the menu wall. Once you place your order, you'll be asked to put in your cell phone number to get alerted when the order is ready. I got the Shack Stack and fries, recommended by my friend who has had Shake Shack in NY. The total came out to be around $14, a little pricey for just burgers and fries. My favorite part was the fried portabella mushroom that was filled with cheese. It's a messy meal (and be careful with the hot cheese oozing out), but it paired well with the cheeseburger. I attended the grand opening family and friends day and it was a great experience. I was greeted by warm and friendly staff and everyone was excited to be a new restaurant servers were ready to help me pick choices from the kiosk which made ordering a breeze. I was introduced to Shake shack years ago when I was in Washington DC but I had never been in Atlanta but after this day I sure will be back very soon because the food was amazing. I got a chicken burger, a portobello mushroom burger, bacon cheesy fries, and a shake to split with a friend. The pickles on the chicken burger were thick and the fries were crispy crunchy and amazing just how I like it. I don't want to start a war but their version of the chicken sandwich is way better than Chick Fil A. Yea I said it! Every order, there's always something missing. How hard is it really To double check each order? Especially those that are for delivery and ensure that the guest receives everything they ordered.
