I have been coming to downtown Atlanta for business for nearly 20 years and have ordered countless breakfasts and lunches for my team at this location over the years. Unfortunately, today's experience was so disappointing that we have decided we will never return. This Sunday morning, before the World Cup, I placed a very small order: two scrambled eggs. The restaurant was busy, which I completely understood, so I waited patiently. I continued waiting while customers who ordered after me not only received their food, but even finished eating. After a long wait, I approached the counter to ask about my order. I was simply told, "It's not ready yet." I waited another 10 minutes before wondering whether there might be an issue with the system. When I asked again, I was told once more that it was not ready. I politely asked whether something had gone wrong, since people who ordered after me had already finished their meals. The response I received was shocking: "If you don't like to wait, go get a refund." I replied that customers should not be spoken to that way, and the employee responded, "I don't care about attitude." When I asked to speak with a manager, she simply turned around and walked away. I had to stop other employees to find a manager. During this time, another employee yelled, "Hey, hey, take your dog away from the food." My small service dog was in my arms, and I was standing outside the pickup area--not in the kitchen or food preparation area. While I was calmly explaining my concerns to the manager, the same employee slammed a tray onto the table with a loud bang, which felt unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional. To the manager's credit, she personally cooked my order. However, I finally received two scrambled eggs after waiting more than an hour. She promised she will have a talk with them. Mistakes happen. Orders get delayed. What disappointed me was not the wait itself, but the lack of courtesy, professionalism, and basic customer service. After nearly 20 years of supporting this location, including many company-paid meals for my team, we have decided to take our business elsewhere. read more

I used to patronize Corner Bakery when I worked downtown in 2018. Back when paper coupons made it reasonable. Fast forward to the current inefficient rewards program which only guarantees awkward disappointment at the register. Rewards Experience I signed up and downloaded the app to get a $5 reward. First I was told that I wasn't "in the system yet" which could take a few days. Next visit I was told my reward expired. Today, I received an email for $6 paninis. I got my coworkers excited and when it was time to pay I was told this location "doesn't participate.." Pros - Tasty Lunch Food is fresh, fast and tasty. Kudos to the Harvest Salad ($13.49) with mixed greens, chicken, blue cheese, apples and cranberries. The Rustic Italian Panini is equally flavorful with smoked ham, salami, provolone, tomato, pesto and pepperoncini on grilled sourdough. Price/Value The panini may be tasty but without a side, it's not worth $11.29. You can combine 2 items - 1/2 panini, 1/2 sandwich and a side - soup, small salad, pasta, fruit to create a combo for $13.49. But the best salads have a "premium" upcharge that's not advertised. So you're unpleasantly surprised at the register when there's a line behind you. And whatever I order I'm hangry two hours later. I may have a lumberjack's appetite cause a male co-worker is satisfied with a Kid's Combo - 1/2 kids sandwich with soup, chips or carrots + fruit or cookie & drink ($6.09). Cons Portion size, $$$, no parking, small cups of h20, a key required to use the restroom like it's a gas station, not honoring promotions, & a lousy rewards program. Also, there are no prices on online. You literally have to find a location and pretend to place an order to see how much items cost. Who does that? Sum Unless you're flush with cash, only a little hungry and in the area anyway, I don't recommend Corner Bakery. I won't return. read more

Corner Bakery is open early, has a great selection of options for both dine-in and grab-and-go, and is pretty quick. I visited out of convenience on my last day in Atlanta, but would have likely come back. I was really happy with my omelet and cold brew. It was flavorful and brought out pretty swiftly. Corner Bakery is a pay at the front, take a number on a stick, grab a seat, and wait for your food to be brought out kind of place. This is great in that you're not milling around with ears perked. Seating is generous. Prices are middle to high, so I don't think I'd be a regular if I were in the neighborhood. But overall, solid breakfast spot! read more

It's been a while since I've frequented Corner Bakery. During my stay at The Westin for a conference, Corner Bakery saved me, as it was a convenient and relatively healthy breakfast option for me before the conference sessions. Open at 6 AM, the restaurant easily accomodated my to-go orders, so I could enjoy my breakfasts back in my hotel room. I ordered the same breakfast every day during my stay: the garden gate scrambler (without cheese) with added chicken sausage. No complaints about the food. If anything, I thought the food tasted delicious and was prepared consistenly. Thank you, Corner Bakery! read more

Ordered online for pickup and arrived on time... had to wait another 10 minutes while staff seemed completely indifferent. Food was even more disappointing. The salad portion was tiny -- literally 3 pieces of chicken -- and the sandwich had just a single slice of cheese. For ~$30, this felt more like a light snack than an actual meal. Between the lack of urgency on service and poor portion value, this was a miss. Wouldn't recommend unless expectations are very low read more

Service slow and inaccurate. Received wrong sides and wrong sandwich. We were told to "be patient" by staff when we inquired about our order....part of our party was finished eating and others had not gotten their food. Tables were dirty. Food is meh. read more

I tried this location for lunch and was amazed at the selection of breakfast and lunch options. I appreciated the fact that they offered military discount and were very nice as I had a lot of questions about the menu. Hubby and I had a staycation across the street at Hyatt Regency so we decided to stop by to have a quick breakfast before we checked out. Parking - NONE! It's literally downtown Atlanta so either find a nearby parking deck, valet at the hotel or street parking. Food - I saw someone say this was Panera Breads little cousin and they told not one lie!! I completely concur! You order upon arrival and if you dine in, they give you a number to sit at a table or they will call your number if you're doing take out. I ordered a scramble with potatoes and wheat toast. Hubby ordered the same (with chicken sausage) and an iced coffee. The food was okay. Nothing to rant and rave about - just enough to get the job done. I wouldn't break my neck to come back. It's a great ambiance for WFH situations or meetings. read more

I don't get out as much as people think. I'm still getting used to the traffic and working on my patience when it comes to getting around in a busy city. So when I go out somewhere, I usually put major time into researching where I'm going. But it's not a fail proof plan. Recently, I had a lunch meeting scheduled and figured that I'd spend the morning out and working until then. Of course I wanted to find a place nearby so that I wouldn't have to do any extra driving to get there. Along came Corner Bakery! Right next door to my lunch spot, open early in the AM and noted to have wifi - perfection. When I arrived, Corner Bakery wasn't what I expected. It looked more like Panera Bread's cousin vs. a local cafe and it was super spacious. Upon entry, you kinda run into the line which showed off some delicious looking crisps for sale. The line moved so swiftly, I didn't get to take too much time to check them out but next time. When I got up to the counter, I was bummed to hear that the frittata bites were all out. I opted for the Chicken Sausage breakfast wrap, hot tea and a hot latte. Less than like 2 or 3 minutes after I ordered, my drinks were ready! My latte was soooo goood! I wish I had gotten a larger cup. I was given a number to put on display at my table and took a seat in the corner near an outlet to work. I got real comfy with my hot drinks, laptop and iPad (my normal wfh setup on the go) and went to get connected to their wifi to work on some Yelp magic and .... Nada. The wifi didn't work :( It was open and there but, nothing. Zip. No connection. I was so bummed because like, I'm already settled and I have plans next door in an hour+ lol. Luckily, I have a hotspot on my phone and it saved the day. The cafe got busier than I expected! After sitting for about 15min or so, my food was dropped off to my table. I was super surprised that it was on a paper plate and I was dining in? I didn't realize I was so bougie lol it was a branded plate! Not some random Publix plate lol and I understand that it cuts down on dishes but it was... something else. My wrap wasn't bad. I wish it had more sausage and that it had ingredients dispersed a little more evenly in the tortilla. The sauce/salsa was such a great match! The staff was also wonderful and so helpful from start to finish. Maybe not my go-to breakfast joint but a nice spot to check out if you're nearby. read more

Pretty decent place for a quick coffee fix in the middle of Peachtree downtown. Service was fast and spacious place.

My group had been here previously and we thought it was a good establishment for breakfast. When we showed up for breakfast, staff had AirPods in and were rude. We waited for over 50 minutes and still did not get our breakfast food, which was a scramble and breakfast sandwich. When we asked for a refund or help, staff laughed at us and was not nice. One employee said they made our dish personally but we never received it. We got a refund in cash but overall unprofessional. read more

Truly terrible. If I could give this place zero stars I would. There is almost nothing else in the vicinity so you might be stuck here, but truly awful service, the tables are filthy and the food.... I cannot believe this can even be called food. All of the coffee is cold, at 7 am, which makes me suspect that it was left over coffee from the night before. You have to beg the lady at the register for a cup, it is like she does not want you to find out how bad the coffee really is. I went four times because it was just easy to get to and it was equally bad every time I went, no matter what I did or ordered. Maybe this was a good place to go in 2002. In 2025 it is just unforgivable. Truly bad. If you are staying in the area, spend some extra money and go into one of the hotels. read more

Popped in here for breakfast on a Wednesday morning whilst in town to visit GA Aquarium. I ordered the Bacon Wrap, and my wife the Bacon Avocado Bowl. Portions were generous and flavorful, and they arrived fresh, hot, and fast. Coffee is average but hot and plentiful. Staff were cheerful and friendly. We arrived 08:15AM and the place was quiet, but the crowd steadily grew as 9 AM approached. I found it humorous that so many other reviews complained about being served plasticware with paper plates. It's a coffee shop & bakery, after all. What were they expecting - white linens & fine China? Great place for a relaxing quick bite and a short walk from several hotels. Would definitely eat here again! read more

Came here before heading to the airport because it was right across the street from our hotel. It's nothing more then a place striving very hard to be Panera. I got the Anaheim Panini which came on a tiny paper plate barely big enough to hold it and it was a sloppy sandwich that tasted OK. My friend got a croissant with eggs and turkey sausage and she did not care for it either. read more

Wow, we waited in line 20 minutes, while two servers intermittently took orders and talked on the phone, only to arrive at the counter and learn that they had no croissants and no coffee. Stopped here one night after traveling to Griffin, and this place quickly became one of our favorites. This place just has good food and a nice selection of cakes. I really like the cheeseburger and seasoned fries, it's usually quite juicy. The food, service, and quality is much higher than panara in my opinion. I like how they have a pick 2, and the portions are very generous. For me, the best part is that the food actually tastes good. I've have panara and similar and I can't help but compare to corner bakery. Very delicious good food. I really like corner bakery and this location is the one that has won me over. Staff is super nice and I probably ate here at least 10x, never complained. Coffee and teas are delicious, always order the pesto pasta and the paninis like chicken pomoomdoroi. Lattes and house coffee are good!! For two people with two drinks and sharing the pick 2 total was under $25!! read more

I was super excited to see this location across the street from the hotel I was staying in - I dropped in for breakfast the next day and got an Anaheim scramble, cold brew and a chocolate muffin. I saw mixed reviews of the Corner Bakery but it was the closest to where we were, and we had time to waste and wanted sweets. They had individual items for sale, but they also had cute little bagged up versions, like Mini cookies and brownie bites. Those bags were $6 I think, and the individual ones were 3,50 or so a piece. We got a bag of M&M mini cookies and a bag of brownie bites. I am a SNOB about my brownies. These were fantastic! We savored them the next day or so between the three of us! My review of Corner Bakery is based on a mixed review of the food items I had, plus points for friendly, quick service. 5 stars: The strawberry and cream cheese croissant was fantastic! It had a slight density that was really appealing. Rather than chewing on air, it was a flaky and buttery pastry with a satisfying heft. 4 stars: The hazelnut cold brew was solid, no complaints here. 3 stars: The panini was average, the flavors were lackluster to me and the bread was slightly soggy. This could perhaps be improved by having a choice of the cheese and the addition of a protein. Despite not having a particularly sweet tooth, I would go back to Corner Bakery in a heartbeat, just for their croissant and a coffee! read more

This is the basic Panera Bread business model. Order at the counter. They do offer some basic breakfast plates though. Our experience was interesting. We ordered the Anaheim Breakfast. It came out super quick which surprised us. Then at first bite we found out why. Literally cold scrambled eggs, cold toast and cold potatoes. We tried eating them but just couldn't. We asked if they could warm them in a microwave but the manager would have none of that. She set us up with a whole new hot breakfast! Awesome. And then she checked in us personally a bit later. That's the way you do it. read more
