Food 10/10, pleasant employees, good music and vibes. Would highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

One word- OUTSTANDING!!! This is the old Wendy's just down from Northlake Mall, on Lavista Road. It is YELLOW- and yes, you can almost miss it if you are going too fast. A decent size parking lot, a round-robin of customers & I spoke to a few who are repeats- they love it! The restaurant is clean & organized- booths & tables. Charging stations (plugs) available as well. Walk up counter, place order, wait for your number to be called. Do not be in a rush- made-to-order!! Worth the wait!!! If you are not starving- split a meal with a friend- portions are huge & truly DELICIOUS!!! Ask for sauces, if you want. They have tartare, cocktail & homemade hot sauces. Fresh lemons too. Pepsi products, sweet/unsweetened tea... NO ALCOHOL! Outstanding employees! All so nice! Big menu- ask for one if needed, they have scrolling screens & it is hard to figure out. Menu is best to figure out what you want. Literally EVERYTHING was SO fresh & delicious!!! Mom thought salty, so maybe ask for light/no salt if this is a dietary restriction. They have fresh & fried options. Here are pics of our meals. All left with to-go's. Note, meals are served in to-go containers, not actual plates. The music is fun but WAY WAY WAY too loud. Heads up. I'd truly go back if in town. What an unexpected treat for dad's birthday. He was HAPPY! read more

I've been coming to Fork in the Road for about five years and it is amazingly consistent in quality, service, and vibe. I popped in for my semi-annual fried chicken craving on a Sunday evening and the playlist was divine. The staff has always been entertaining and makes the wait fun even when it's busy. This is the type of food that pulls in every crowd... doesn't matter your age, race, or occupation. Spinach was well seasoned, fries/hushpuppies were just the right amount of crispy, chicken was perfect. The bathrooms were horrible which is concerning. BUUUUT I'm gonna choose to ignore that because the food just hits when you need it. Ignorance is indeed bliss!!! read more

1 of my Brothers lives on this side of town and really loves this restaurant, so he brought me and my other Brother here after we had just eaten a full meal at Mellow Mushroom around the block. He said he would pay and he was pushing the idea, so we went...Clearly, I didn't get to eat the food that I got here that night, but the food was pretty solid and the service was good. If they didn't have a current "Health Score" of 86 with a violation of - Standards NOT met: "Insects, rodents or animals NOT present" I might go back, but in the meantime, my Brother can have those extra surprises to himself!! read more

Study the menu before you go. It can be quite overwhelming, but definitely worth it. I've been here four times and every time I've tried something different. I haven't found a bad dish yet. I always go around lunchtime so definitely be prepared to wait the staff as quick and efficient and always friendly. Don't expect anything fancy as this is a true gem and a hole in the wall. read more

You ever eat somewhere where the food is so good you get mad at yourself because you start getting full? Shrimp and oyster combo po-boy with Cajun fries and beignets on the side. Absolute perfection. Oysters and shrimp were perfectly seasoned and battered and HUGE. Couldn't finish all the fries, but they were awesome too, and I had to take two of the beignets home. I'll be back for sure. read more

Great food. Great servicea It's not much to look at from the outside; but don't judge a book by its cover. I've never had a bad meal or bad service here. The portions are large and the food is always served hot. The cherry on top is the fast friendly service from their great staff. Recommended dishes: Alfredo catfish/ salmon plate pork chop plate shrimp and grits Wings burgers spinach and mushrooms pork rinds (loaded) and save room for the beignets read more

The place was hopping when I stopped by during lunch. It is a fried food heaven which is what I was hoping for! I ordered the fried shrimp with a side of onion rings and hush puppies. I am still scratching my head on the shrimp... I think it was pre cooked a bit, then breaded, and then fried. The texture was a bit off putting. The sides were wonderful! The staff was very personable. They were cranking out to go orders, pick ups, and dining in... read more

It's sad when you end up at the same restaurant twice in one week and then realize you've been three times in two weeks. But here we are. I found this little jewel after scrolling through the great Yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. Clean. Consistent. And incredibly price-conscious it almost feels like they're looking out for you personally. I walked in thinking I'd grab a little snack and I paid actual snack prices! The sides are super reasonable, and once you finish being shocked by the cost, the quality hits you next. Everything is good good. I've gotten the Charleston Fishwich twice in two weeks, and both times the fish was fried to perfection, crispy, generously portioned, and no signs of old grease or anything questionable. I haven't ventured into the healthier options yet. I've been minding my business with the fried foods and grits for now. The ladies (and gents) at the counter are all super friendly. They take your order quickly, you wait for your number, and then they open your box like it's a little reveal moment and ask what sauces you want. I'm so impressed by the food I watch everybody else's reveal moments so I can see what they're getting. No attitude, no rushing, just genuinely kind, polite service that makes you want to come back. And I will because it's that kind of place! Cafeteria-style setup, but warm, friendly energy and great food. I'll be back. read more

This is one of my favorite places off Lavista Road. I've actually been dining with Fork in the Road since 2010. Back then it was at Northlake Mall where Dugans is now located. I was sad when Wendy's on Lavista closed but excited when Fork in the Road took its place. The menu is almost overwhelming but there's too many good options to choose from. Whatever you're in the mood for is most likely on the menu. You can also dine in which I sometimes do vs takeout. The manager is amazing! He gives great service every time I go. His employees are efficient and polite. Some of my favs are the Sweet Cream Cornbread, Southern Fried Chicken Salad, Wings, Tenders, Fish, Alfredo pastas with either Chicken or Salmon. There's enough seating and the decor is simple enough. It's not too loud so you could have a low key date night without all the frills. Just good food, good conversation and a budget friendly outing. read more

This place is a local favorite. They get busy at times but the staff is always hard at work. They also give a 5% discount if you pay cash. I have been trying their healthier options lately. Through multiple visits I got to try the Cali Salad, Grilled Cajun Catfish, Garlicy mashed potatoes, spinach and mushrooms sauté, and grilled Red fish. Everything tasted amazing. I just can't stay away from this place. Parking lot is small but there is always a spot available. read more

Located @ 3892 Lavista Road Tucker, GA 30084 Health Score 97 = A on 11/19/25 Today we ordered Fried whole Chicken Wings, Fried Shrimp, Fried Okra, Spinach and Mushrooms, Fried Green Tomatoes and Cajun Fries all very reasonably priced. Cierra, was our order taker and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This was our first time eating here and she was very patient while explaining the menu options. Ty, passed out my order and she went through each item to ensure that nothing was missing from our order. This was on a Wednesday afternoon and the restaurant was very busy with customers coming in and out picking up orders and dining in. The food is cooked to order but they offer a call ahead option for those who are interested. Tip: If you choose to dine inside, bring a jacket it was super cold inside to me. R&B music pumping through the speakers makes you feel right at home. Overall, our experience was great The Customer Service from Cierra and Ty was great. The food was delicious. It was everything for me!!! Trust me, I will be back soon!!! read more

Oh my goodness! If you haven't tried Fork in the road on LaVista in Tucker,GA then you are missing OUT! Three besties went today and we are so glad we did! Arriving at 11:45 two of us went in and grabbed a table bc the other was arriving at noon. The staff was calling out #38 by the time we left 2 hours later, they had called to 100 started over and was calling 70 when we walked out! 132 orders! Place was hopping! Three people at the front counter taking orders, calling orders and I don't know how many in the back cranking out the food BUT EVERYTHING WAS PHENOMENAL! Service was outstanding so was the peach tea yum! I ordered the Polly plate wanted to bring home food for dinner. It came with 2pcs of fish I chose catfish, 4 shrimp (I got 6) a huge mound of fried crawfish so so good and one side I chose fried green tomatoes for an up charge all that for $23.99. I also got an order of hushpuppies for the table and everyone took home at least 4 each plus what we ate! Little balls of perfection! One friend got the 2 pcs catfish and fried okra as her side which she shared and of course, scrumptious! The other friend got Polly's platter too except he got fried oysters instead of crawfish and fries plus an order of fried green tomatoes. There was a ridiculous amount of food on our table. We ate until we were stuffed then bagged up the rest. My take home was enough for both myself and my roomie for dinner and both my friends had enough for dinner! This place is EPIC and I can't wait to go back!! read more

Always the best decision of our day when we go. Just so amazing. We usually get baked fish and a small order of friend. Try the broccoli too! Grits a bomb. Like the beignets as well. We never go wrong here read more

Great food! It's best to place the order before hand unless you're ok with waiting. They move pretty fast and have good customer service.

No soap in restroom, trash on floors, a literal mountain of cardboard piled in the parking lot behind building. I order a chick cheese, wife a steak Philly. Sandwich is huge at 10+ inches. Could easily have shared. Tater tots tasted as if they had been sitting a long while. Philly subs were good but the restaurant is unkempt. If front of house is bad, don't know what the back looks like. Service was 15-20 minutes (menu too large?) read more

In the words of Tony the Tiger...."Grreeaaatttt"!! When I tell y'all this "whole in the wall" spot was BUSSN, BUSSN!! Let me paint the picture right quick: Went here for my Father n Law's Bday (he chose it by the pictures), and when we got here everybody (except me) was disappointed and really just ready to find another spot. Oh, but that quickly changed once we got our (6 of us) food! Everybody's whole entire mood changed!! They were very shocked to say the least that the food was as good as it was!!...I however, wasn't...I knew it was gonna be good just by how crowded it was when we pulled up..and I had already read the reviews! I got the Carolina Salad..I think that's the name of it. When I tell y'all this salad was the best salad I've had in a LONG time!! I had been wanting a good salad for the longest and this one "quenched my salad thirst"! My husband got the fried Catfish...bussn! Seasoned to perfection and crunchy-unchy! Anyway, needless to say I've already planned to go back in a few weeks..just at a different time so we can get better seats and parking! Oh, FYI, the parking lot is small and so is the inside! read more

The food is good! The service and waiting in line to order needs improvement. The restaurant has limited seating and parking.

The food is amazing! Succulent shrimp! Sensational salmon! Sweat creamy cornbread that I went to sample, but once I saw the shrimp and stuff, I couldn't resist!!And, it all came with a great smile from the cashier!! The food is very very good close to excellent. The service is very remarkable. You placed your order at the counter and before you know it, time to pick it up. I've had the fish and chips. I've also had their delicious fried chitlins. (Huge bag)yummy and addictive. They did not deliver, but you can pick up. The rest on itself is extremely clean and inviting. Fork In The was very busy when I arrived.I thought that was a great sign. I parked and entered. Getting to the counter was a bit confusing as you have to walk through people that are dining to order. But the signage helped. It was packed but orderly and the line moved fast. I told the staff that it was my first time and I wanted to know if they recommend the Grilled Salmon or the Salmon Alfredo! The Alfredo was suggested I added broccoli and mushrooms. The customer service was great! The food was prepared quickly, portionsize was huge and the food was great! I only wish that it had more seasoning. I definitely wouldn't mind trying other menu items! read more

Place was packed at lunch! For good reason! Service was great, wait was not long if you consider food is cooked to order. All of the workers stayed busy and very efficient. The catfish fillets were huge with good breading and cooked perfectly. Coleslaw and cornbread added to the order at the end too, if you want. Great prices and a huge menu. HOLY MOLY!!! This place is amazing. It's a nice diner setting that doesn't feel like it needs to be fancy or anything. I came in, not knowing what I wanted. Bad move on my part because I just started ordering a bunch of different items. The proportions was A LOT. Coming from D.C., I was used to the prices and thought the amount of food would be enough to satisfy my hunger. I WAS SO WRONG IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. I was craving something Southern as it wasn't something I was able to enjoy back at home. I came in ordering five combos and dessert to feed four people. I went back home filled and with two bags full of food we didn't finish. The wings were nice andy juicy. The seafood was immaculate. It was deep fry heaven. I would go back and buy a meal to share with a friend next time. read more

My first visit with a friend for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was busy for the whole afternoon, with people eating in, taking out, and going through the drive through. The exterior doesn't look like much: it's a bit shabby but does have a nice parking lot. The inside is very welcoming with nice modern tables and booths, pleasant lighting, and homey decorations around the large windows. The staff was constantly picking up bits of trash, wiping tables, and generally cleaning which impressed me because of how busy it was at the same time. One orders at the front counter and the menu is available in hard copy or by QR code, as well as the lists of options (sides, beverages, etc.) standing on the counter. After ordering, one waits for one's number to be called to pick up the food which comes in takeout containers with disposable utensils. I had the fried chicken sandwich. It had two pieces of fried breast, lettuce, tomato, and pickles in a sturdy bun. I had this with honey mustard sauce and tater tots. The sandwich was very good, the chicken was crispy and well seasoned. The tots were a bit pale and soft; I would like them crispier and with more salt. My friend had a buffalo chicken sub that was immense; he barely made a dent in it. That came with fries. Beverages include Pepsi products and iced tea. These are filled by staff, served in disposable plastic cups with the restaurant name printed on the side. The food was good. No one hurried us to leave. Prices were very reasonable. I would like to try the fish and shrimp next time. My only suggestion is to use less single-use plastic ware. read more

First off, let me start by apologizing because this review is long overdue. I had the pleasure of visiting this cute little spot back in February on a date, and honestly--it was such a good experience! The food? Delicious. You get so much that I was able to save some for the next day--and let me tell you, it was just as good reheated as it was fresh. And that's saying something! I ordered the Cheesy Shrimp & Grits, and my date did too (great minds think alike, okay?). And yes--they definitely passed the cheese pull test, which is a must for me. Creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor. Just chef's kiss. Now let me say this--the menu is heavy. Like, a lot of options. Which can be amazing if you're in the mood to explore... or a little overwhelming if you're indecisive (like me sometimes). But I'd rather have more to choose from than less, so no complaints here. If you haven't been yet, I definitely think it's worth checking out. Whether it's a date, a chill solo outing, or just a craving for something satisfying and Southern--it's a win. I don't remember if I took pics, but if I did I'll be sure to add them later. Just know--it was that good. read more
