The service is also pretty good. I didn't like the trash and food debris on the front porch of the restaurant as I walked in. I was hosting a lunch guest here for business and that's just not a good look. I did mention it to somebody as we walked in and apparently they had just opened so I understand, but you gotta take care of the front of your place. read more

This was our first time here and it was ok. The service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was busy as I believe people were eating before going to watch the USA World Cup game later at the park. My husband got wings which were listed as jumbo. They were an ok size, but definitely not jumbo. He did like the taste of the hot wings. I got the southwestern quesadilla which was ok. The quesadilla was not completely filled to capacity. I wouldn't order it again though. The chips and salsa that came with it were terrible. The chips tasted like those fried chip things you put in your won ton soup at a Chinese restaurant and the salsa was inedible. It tasted like it had gone bad or they just make a gross salsa. The best part was the fried basket with pickles and jalapeños. Those were very good except $10 seemed a bit high for this appetizer. $7 or $8 would make more sense. If we ever go back I would try a hamburger as I hear they are huge. But, then again, the wings weren't jumbo. read more

Local No. 7 is a lively little pub/bar located in downtown Tucker, GA. I went there to grab a bite to eat after work. The decor was fun to look at and made you feel invited. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I ordered a cheeseburger, medium well, with jack cheese, lettuce, sautéed onions, bacon, and fries. I also had a glass jar margarita. The food was good. It's your typical pub food, for sure. I did not like the margarita. The taste was kind of off to me. I will stick to my regular Texas margaritas. After leaving, I needed to walk off some of that food. Luckily, I discovered a small park behind the restaurant. You can order food and a drink and just sit outside and enjoy nature. I walked around the park a few times and just relaxed. I recommend Local No. 7; just order one of the other drinks that they have to offer. read more

Went here for a lunch date and will not be returning. The customer service was great, I wish I got our waiters name but forgot. He gave recommendations and was very attentive even though you could tell staff was stretched thin. I ordered a Pomegranate Margarita that he recommended and that was the best thing I had. We ordered the fried pickles and jalapeno basket for an appetizer and it had zero seasoning. I ate one of each. I ordered the fish tacos and sweet potato fries and there wasn't even salt and pepper on it. It taste like they took the fish and put it right in the batter and fried it. The sauce and coleslaw on top didn't help with flavor either. Everything was Very bland. My date got the salmon pita and it was bland as well. Local 7 lives up to its name as an ideal local hangout. This is really a 4.5 star review. It's an easy spot to take guests from out of town or just swing by for a casual weeknight dinner. The drinks are strong, the menu is varied, and the service pretty consistent. Occasionally when seated out on the patio my partner and I have waited a while for food or to see our server, but the food is always tasty. I don't fault the servers for this, they're all really accommodating, sometimes it's just that busy! The drinks are also consistently strong & delicious, our favorites are the Mason Jar Margarita and the Tucker Tea (bourbon & sweet tea). The prices for cocktails are excellent and I hope that doesn't change any time soon. For eats, my partner gets the Steak and Frites, and would like people to know that if you tell this kitchen you want it rare, it'll be very rare bordering on bloody, so if you want on the rare side without it mooing, order medium rare. The Fish & Chips are good, but I usually go for the chicken tenders because they're tender and well-seasoned, and the fries are really good too. I get it with the delicious house-made ranch. When I indulge in an appetizer it's the basket of fried jalapeños that pair great with the aforementioned ranch and is a great portion to share with friends. If you aren't into the spicy vibe you can get a basket that's half jalapeños, half pickles which is equally tasty. I've brought plenty of people here and from the salads to the burgers, they've been consistently happy with the food. For desserts, they change daily- check the big chalkboard on the wall for the day's offerings. They source them from Southern Sweets Bakery so you know they're delicious. Parking is a little iffy but not terrible, you have the options of Main St, the parking lot around back, or the strip of parking across the street and between those options it tends to be fairly easy to find a free spot. This place is pretty cool for dinner and a drink or lunch and... whatever you decide to get lol. I've been here once around dinner time and it was a little crowded. Seemingly, some families and a few folks at the bar. I only got fries and a drink and both were solid. I came here for lunch as well and had a pretty tasty buffalo chicken salad, but the chicken was a little tough. I can't say the service has been stellar when I've gone. But it wasn't bad. Met a friend here this week for lunch. Our first time and it was great. We ordered cheeseburger and BLAT both served with TOTS. They arrived and were huge. Their burger patty was beautiful with that awesome looking melted cheese. The bun was soft and lightly toasted. The BLAT arrived and it also was a beauty. Both sandwiches were big. I have been to Local 7 many times over the past several years when I lived in Snellville. Now that I live in St. Simons Island, I make it a point to stop by for lunch. The menu has a wide variety of very good food. I have had the Reuben/Rachel, French Dip, Cuban & wraps. You cannot go wrong with any selection. I wasn't happy with the wait when we first arrived. They were busy and looked understaffed so I gave them a pass. When we were finally seated and our order was taken I had time to take it all in. The restaurant looked like it was filled with regulars. It was cozy and had a chill, laid-back vibe. I was very impressed with the bartender. It looked like she was well-known to many of the customers. I watched as she dealt with everyone and made them feel like they were the only people at the bar at that moment. Her time and care and dedication were noted. I complimented her on how well she handled her duties. The food was great. I ordered the impossible burger and fries with a side of coleslaw. It's one of my go-to dishes when I'm at restaurants like these. This kind of meal is quick and easy. The burger was good and satisfying. We sat inside and enjoyed the cool Georgia breeze blowing through the open door. Regular, no frills bar. Apparently according to my server, the price of your dish determines how much French fries you get. My cousin ordered the fish and chips that was $2 more than my buffalo chicken wrap, so I asked about the discrepancy in the amount of fries. That's the answer I received. Go figure. Also, the chicken in the wrap isn't like a nice grilled breast, but possibly canned. Definitely a spot to go to as a last resort but there are much tastier and better options in Tucker. This was our first time visiting Local No 7 and we'll be back to try more of the menu options. Everything we ordered was really tasty. In the mood for standard bar food, we had wings (accidently ordered boneless) and fish & chips with onion rings subbed. I also grabbed the spinach salad. To begin we had the fried pickles & jalapeno slices. Not sure if this was the case, but everything tasted like it had been prepared there/homemade (ranch, raspberry vinaigrette, batter on fish, etc). Service was friendly although it did take a bit too long to get our food. While we waited we enjoyed some cocktails - first round was perfectly balanced alcohol to "fillers." Second round definitely was heavier on the "filler" but that is typical of restaurant/bars. Looking forward to trying a burger my next time visiting - pictures online look fantastic! read more
