Local 7 lives up to its name as an ideal local hangout. This is really a 4.5 star review. It's an…read moreeasy spot to take guests from out of town or just swing by for a casual weeknight dinner. The drinks are strong, the menu is varied, and the service pretty consistent. Occasionally when seated out on the patio my partner and I have waited a while for food or to see our server, but the food is always tasty. I don't fault the servers for this, they're all really accommodating, sometimes it's just that busy! The drinks are also consistently strong & delicious, our favorites are the Mason Jar Margarita and the Tucker Tea (bourbon & sweet tea). The prices for cocktails are excellent and I hope that doesn't change any time soon. For eats, my partner gets the Steak and Frites, and would like people to know that if you tell this kitchen you want it rare, it'll be very rare bordering on bloody, so if you want on the rare side without it mooing, order medium rare. The Fish & Chips are good, but I usually go for the chicken tenders because they're tender and well-seasoned, and the fries are really good too. I get it with the delicious house-made ranch. When I indulge in an appetizer it's the basket of fried jalapeños that pair great with the aforementioned ranch and is a great portion to share with friends. If you aren't into the spicy vibe you can get a basket that's half jalapeños, half pickles which is equally tasty. I've brought plenty of people here and from the salads to the burgers, they've been consistently happy with the food. For desserts, they change daily- check the big chalkboard on the wall for the day's offerings. They source them from Southern Sweets Bakery so you know they're delicious. Parking is a little iffy but not terrible, you have the options of Main St, the parking lot around back, or the strip of parking across the street and between those options it tends to be fairly easy to find a free spot. Give them a shot!

Local No. 7 is a lively little pub/bar located in downtown Tucker, GA. I went there to grab a bite…read moreto eat after work. The decor was fun to look at and made you feel invited. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I ordered a cheeseburger, medium well, with jack cheese, lettuce, sautéed onions, bacon, and fries. I also had a glass jar margarita. The food was good. It's your typical pub food, for sure. I did not like the margarita. The taste was kind of off to me. I will stick to my regular Texas margaritas. After leaving, I needed to walk off some of that food. Luckily, I discovered a small park behind the restaurant. You can order food and a drink and just sit outside and enjoy nature. I walked around the park a few times and just relaxed. I recommend Local No. 7; just order one of the other drinks that they have to offer.

Our experience at this restaurant was overall very enjoyable. The only minor issue we encountered…read morewas that the lady taking our order seemed a little impatient while we were deciding what to order. We only spent about five minutes or less looking through the menu, but it felt as though she wasn't too appreciative of us taking our time. However, this did not significantly impact our experience. There were also a few mix-ups with our names. My name is Vu, but it was pronounced as "V.U.," and my friend's name, Alen, was called "Aden." These were small mistakes and certainly not something that affected our overall impression of the restaurant. On the positive side, the food came out surprisingly fast, which we really appreciated. I ordered the A1 Steakhouse Burger, and it tasted even better than I expected. The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. Although the burger was noticeably smaller than what was shown in the promotional picture, the flavor definitely made up for it. I even added a little ketchup, which enhanced the taste even more. Despite the few minor imperfections in service, they do not affect my rating of this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was quick, and I would still highly recommend giving this amazing burger a try.

Honestly, I want my money back. My friend sent me a promo for National Burger Day, and I thought it…read morewas BOGO on any burger. That's also what I was told over the phone. The reality? It was only for their "classic" burgers--which I didn't find out until I showed up. The place already had a 90 health score, which made me hesitant. Seeing a visible, overflowing trash can under the sink to the right of the kitchen didn't exactly inspire confidence either. On the positive side, the woman at the counter was friendly. She asked for my name so they could call it when my order was ready. After 15 minutes (for just two burgers, in a not-busy restaurant), I finally had to ask about my food. The cook seemed confused, asked my name again, then looked around before finally finding my order. They never actually called my name, even though that's how the process was explained. The food itself was the biggest disappointment: I paid extra for bacon, but it wasn't added. The burger patty was pink, even though I asked for well done. The lettuce looked ancient, like it had been sitting out overnight. The burger was bland with no flavor whatsoever. The only redeeming quality was the mustard bourbon sauce, which paired decently with the paper-thin slice of pepper jack cheese (on my burger), though my fiancée's burger had the cheese completely forgotten. At the heart of every guy, there are four foods we know at our core--pizza, fries, chicken nuggets, and burgers. And this burger? Easily one of the most basic, uninspired ones I've ever had. The one thing I might go back for is the milkshakes--a few flavors caught my eye. But outside of that, I don't plan to return anytime soon. Even at the promo price, I left disappointed. If I had paid the full $22 (before tax), I would've been even more upset. For now, this is a 2-star experience at best.
