What in the world gives with this location? For a while service had improved, but now it's back to the same miserable state. I ordered the Vito Unwich--have ordered it many times and really like it. I just picked it up and it did feel a little light. When I got back to my office I discovered there was no meat or cheese in the lettuce--just mayo, tomato and peppers. Got in my car and headed back and asked them how could they even make this? A woman who seemed in charge apologised, offered me a drink while the girl who apparently made it made a new one. Jimmy John's located in Tucker, GA is located behind IHOP on Lavista Tucker off I-285. I place my order online and pick-up at the door. The restaurant is always clean and the employees are friendly. I've never had any problems. My go to is #11 Country Club and it's always delicious. I'd recommend this location. read more

Great place for a quick tasty sandwich. I was so happy when I found out they put a Jimmy John's right here on Lavista Road, Tucker which is very convenient from my work and they do have very good sandwiches. Thanks for opening up here! The place is in the same strip plaza where you have Sprouts, DSW and Dick Sports. They are the counter-serve chain specializing in subs & club sandwiches, plus signature potato chips. They took the time to explain their menu and how they made their food to order. The staff were the nicest people I have ever met in a fast food center. The place is very clean and have a sitting for at least 10-15 people at a time with 4 tables and chairs around them. Two people working at this location and that's good enough for this place. Plenty of free parking available in the plaza and in front of the restaurant. I love this Jimmy John's location. We pick up, eat in and have delivery from here. They are very fast and friendly. I love the Club LuLu (Turkey breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato & mayo) with a pickle. The wheat bread on my Club Lulu not only tasted fresh, but was still warm from the oven. I love the bread, it's soft but chewy. They have the best pickles. The salt and vinegar Jimmy chips were the best to taste. Very reasonably priced. Thumbs way up! They sometimes run out of bread and shut-down early. We have gone there twice for an early dinner and the employees said they are closed due to "no bread". After placing an order for my kid's entire team online, prepaying $130 for it, calling before I came to be sure it was ready and was told yes, to then get there and they had no idea what I was talking about. Then they were super rude about it. Never ever ever will I order a thing from this company and more importantly, I'll be sure that both of our schools remove them from all the sports catering. This is just personal preference. I got the 9-grain wheat with turkey and bacon. Too many seeds in the bread, too little meat on the sandwich and WAY too much bacon. I removed over half the bacon. The bread ruined it. It was heavy, it was chewy, it was crunchy, it was dense. The cashier who took my order paused his FaceTime/Skype to do so. As soon as my order was over, he returned to the FaceTime/Skype on his phone. I was told that you get your own bag, napkins... but they are behind the counter. So you reach OVER the counter to get a bag and napkins assuming you need one. The place was clean, all of the staff was nice it was just odd to see someone conducting a live Face to Face conversation over their phone while taking orders at a restaurant. I can deal with the millennials CONSTANTLY being on social media, but I won't be back because the sandwich itself was not impressive. But maybe this just isn't my thing. We stopped in this location today to grab some lunch. We intended to go to Newk's but they were closed so we settled for Jimmy John's. This is the fourth time I have eaten a sandwich from Jimmy John's. Definitely not my favorite sandwich place. Today the sandwich was fine. The bread is always kind of hard and I prefer a nice soft bread. There could have been more toppings on the sandwich. The lettuce was definitely lacking. But I write this review because of what I witnessed while in the restaurant. There were two employees working and they definitely needed more help. I am aware of staffing shortages everywhere so I don't mind waiting as it seems to be the new normal. The problem was that I watched at least six people walk in, wait to order, then leave because they were never helped. The employees just needed to communicate to the people walking in that they were the only ones there and they would help these people shortly. Nothing was said to the people waiting as they were just ignored while the employees made the sandwiches in order to catch up with the orders they already had. They did stop what they were doing to answer the phone when it rang. In my opinion, the people in the restaurant needed to be helped before the phone was answered. After all, they made the effort to walk in. The employees did the best they could but could use some more training by a manager or franchise owner on what to do in these situations. I have been craving Jimmy John's and finally got it this weekend. The beach club is my go to on sliced wheat. Can u imagine my disappointment when I got it and the dang turkey was frozen. Edwin was so nice at the register and apologized, he stated the frig freezes stuff and the manager is aware. Well whoever the manager is you need to get it fixed because frozen meat is unacceptable. Ordered 2 sandwiches online and redeemed a coupon Ito be delivered to a corporate office located 4 miles away at 11:00 a.m. for delivery scheduled at 12:45 p.m. They were short staffed and had no delivery driver, so they decided to post a handwritten sign on the door stating that they were closed from 1:00-2:30. They never made any attempt to contact any customer letting them know that they could not complete their order due to staffing issues. TLDR: Avoid the location and if you must eat there, don't place an order online because they won't follow it if you modify anything. I've placed numerous orders at this location. All via online or their app. In at least 4-5 occasions the person making the sandwich did not follow my requests. Nothing extravagant. Simple things. No tomato. Add mustard. Add dijon. Nothing out of the ordinary. Today was the last straw. I ordered online. Whoever made the sandwich ignored my requests completely and followed the normal recipe for the sandwich. To make matters worse, when I opened up the sandwich I found a hair on it. In the ages of masks over faces and always needing gloves and hairnets with food handling, you would think this wouldn't happen. I called the store and spoke to an associate. I asked for the manager and she said, "I can help. What's wrong?" I explained what happened. She then say, "Oh, do you want to speak to a manager?" Ma'am, this is who I asked for from the start and you acted as if you were the manager or were apart of the leadership team. You aren't though. She passed the phone off to a gentleman who identified himself as "Ray". I repeated myself...to Ray. As if it mattered, Ray asked what color the hair on the sandwich is. It was small, slightly curly, and black. Ray then went on to tell me they have a time limit to make the sandwiches in so they rush at times and like all humans can make mistakes. Unacceptable. The order prints a ticket to follow to make the sandwich. You cannot justify to me that paying customers should be casualty's off a Jimmy Johns time limit to make sandwiches. Not being able to make a sandwich in the given time is either a training or a staffing issue. Not a customer issue which Ray tried to make it for me. As I was explaining the situation and my disappointment, Ray decided to stop listening and over talk me. I politely froze Ray mid-interruption to explain I wasn't finished and he was listening to respond and not listening to understanding my frustration. I finished speaking without interruption. Ray then agreed the hair was unacceptable. Ray proceeded to offer me a store credit for a future in-store order. I declined. I advised I won't be returning. To this location or any others in the future. Why would I patronize a place that tried to tell me they don't have time to follow my order correctly? He basically was saying if I'm not there to supervise the order being made their is room for error and health issues by not wearing hairnets. Spend your money elsewhere. Before you corporate replies like they did with others, no I'm not filling out a form for the owners. I've said my piece. The owner can come here to read it if they care to turn their store around. Not sure what's going on with this location, but I've given them quite a few chances and they've all been bad experiences. I get that there has been an employee shortage nationwide, but this place clearly needs better management and hiring. For one the hours advertised on google are incorrect. That or this location just closes when they want to. Trying to order after 630pm here is a gamble. 9pm is the advertised closing, but today I ordered online at 7pm. The order went through with no issues. I showed up 5 mins later to locked doors and lights out. An employee was mopping the floor so I knocked and asked if they were closed, he said yes. I said well my order went through, how do I get a refund. He had a blank stare but said he didn't know. They should remodel this location to a diffrent kind of sub place. Problem 1: The employee's suck. They don't greet you when you come in. They don't read back your order. (Today did an online order, it was wrong. Went to go pick up the food this chick comes out doesn't say a word just flimsy here take your bag.) I am all about customer service especially when I'm spending my money. The staff here are horrible. They look right at you when you walk in and don't say anything then they just look at you and wait for you to start talking. and place your order. It was no one else in there so y'all should have been happy to see a customer and you weren't too busy to acknowledge people.
