    Naan

I tried here for the first time. Love their food. Ambience was ok. Not a huge place nor small. It was decent. But the taste of the food was ultimate, specifically Naan we had was toooo fresh and tasty. I can say the best Naan I had in Atlanta so far is here. We tried Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, Hakeem, Kebabs, Naan and curry. Everything was tooo good. Parking space is decent. Prices are reasonable. Service was friendly.

Chicken Tikka, grilled ground beef and chicken & Beef tikka. Plus fake shawerma sandwiches.

We went there for dinner, with high expectations. Most my party ordered grilled items & biriani rice. I like to plan ahead, so i called before arrival & confirmed they serve Shawerma sandwiches, specifically beef. I ordered 3 when i got there, but sadly they lied to me. They dont serve shawerma, period. Despite they brought 3 sandwiches to my table, it was grilled ground beef sandwich. I was pissed , but didnt want to say anything at the restaurant. I was born in Dubai. Im very familiar with Pakistani & Indian food. All the food we ordered was super spicy & over flavored. I will NOT eat there again. Restaurant was clean & servant was polite. It would have been nice if they were honest and clear from the beginning, but they failed.

We went here for the Iftar buffet last weekend- it was $20 per person. There were lots of vegetarian and non vegetarian options but the taste was just okay. I absolutely loved the chicken kabob roll- 2 star definitely for that (they never disappoint me with the kabob roll) The second 65 and the tandoor chicken on the other hand was very dry and literally hurt my mouth. The flavor was great but didn't feel fresh- it seemed like the food was sitting out there for too long. Anyway- the taste of the curries were very similar to each other (as if they just used a similar base or sauce and added different meat to it) It took some time for them to refill the food but I understand that it is iftar time and things get crazy because everyone is so hungry. However, I didn't appreciate the owner/manager yelling on the microphone every 15 minutes saying things like "move the line faster, don't waste food, you gotta pay $10 for every plate you waste, just take some iftar food in your plate and come back again, give others a chance to take, etc." What I think might not matter to you but why would they set up the banquet hall for 100 people and just serve on one side? It is very likely that the line will get long and messy with all these people. So why not keep the food on two ends so people can stand on two lines? I just didn't like how it was all organized. And if you asked any question to anyone- they're rude which kinda ruined my mood of eating iftar in a happy environment. Anyways, it's just how I felt. But please feel free to go and try it for yourself. Also, they don't take any reservations.

***** Best Biryani In Atlanta ***** Order a take out, pick it up, start the car and drive. Tell me if your mouth doesn't water before you are home from the aroma filled in your car. **** I tried them all. Every single Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi restaurant in greater Atlanta region. This is the one to beat. The flavor. The richness. The consistency. The texture. The authenticity. The right amount of spices used. The right amount of fat (not too oily not less oily) The right amount of protein (some places do two giant pieces and no biryani. Some do lot of biryani but no pieces. This is perfect) Most of all.. the aroma. Wow. Order a take out, pick it up, sit in the car. Tell me if your mouth doesn't water by the aroma filled in your car. The right amount of quantity as well. Then the price. Blown away! This is insane. Hands down. The best biryani. I dont know what else they cook. Dont mind and dont care. Btw.. mutton, chicken.. tried them both. The review is for both. Biryani is Happiness! Happiness is biryani!

Fantastic!! I never had eaten this kind of yummy panney spinach curry, biriyani and samosas!! I love it!

Beef nihari and some of the best garlic naan I've ever stuffed my face with. Dip it in the nihari for extra flavor!

My SO and I went searching for a nihari dish similar to a place we often went to in Washington DC, and boy did this place deliver. The nihari was hot, flavorful, spicy and tender, and tasted just as I remembered. On top of that, I ordered some garlic naan to dip it in and it was hands down some of the best naan I've ever had, and I've had a metric ton of naan in my life. Finished up the delicious meal with a nice cool gulab jamun and it was excellent. Location wise, it's in a bit of a run down strip mall, and the building itself is split with a big event hall, but don't be scared to go in and try this place. It may not be the fanciest place, but I promise the food makes up for it.

Naan, Mixed grill, Palak Paneer (creamed spinach), Vegetable Samosa, and other lamb dishes!

Listen to me when I tell you, you absolutely have to order the Naan, creamed spinach & the mixed grill.... Like trust me. Every item on the mixed grill was ridiculously delicious & we were so happy we got to try them all! We had a group of 3 friends. We shared everything family style & still had left overs. We couldn't stop enjoying another bite of dipping the Naan in creamed spinach! Lol Even the hot sauce on the side was phenomenal. Coming from a Texan, who knows good food- this place will be a must-stop when near the area!

Just now got off the phone with them. Monday thru Thursday $9.99, Friday $11.99.

How much is your dinner buffet on weekdays?

Based on that, I wouldn't mind coming back and trying more of the menu. This place might actually have five-star potential when it comes to Indian snacks and street food in metro Atlanta -- the menu offerings and pictures look promising. We had Pani Puri (eight pieces for $7.99) and a Mango Lassi ($3.99). Both were delicious. Panipuri are deep-fried, hollowed-out balls filled with potatoes, chickpeas, and spices, and you add a side of flavored water yourself; in this case, green mint water. I think maybe there was some coriander in there too. I'm not sure. There was also a dark red/brown spicy sauce (legit spicy), from a squeeze bottle at the food cart. I think it had tamarind in it. The Mango Lassi tasted fresh. It was cold, sweet, creamy, and refreshing. My wife thinks it was pre-made and had been sitting in a fridge ready to go. Either way, it was good. Amul Veg Restaurant's menu features several different kinds of Indian apps and chaat (savory snacks), Indian pizza, pav bhaji and sandwiches, and more. I love pav bhaji and would like to try their version if we return. Amul Veg Restaurant is located inside Global Mall, an Indian shopping mall in Norcross / Gwinnett County, just off I-85 exit 99 (Jimmy Carter Blvd). The restaurant is on the second floor, next to the food court. Unlike the food court stalls/counters that share common-area seating, Amul Veg Restaurant has its own space with dedicated seating. We sat in one of the dining room booths. This is a small, simple, clean, brightly-lit, casual eatery that has a similar look and feel to a fast-food restaurant. When we entered around 3:40pm on a Sunday, it was just my wife and me and one other diner. By the time we left, by 4:00pm, it was busier with at least four other small parties dining in or waiting for their to-go orders. Service was fine. Amul Veg Restaurant opened in 2021.

I must admit to being pleasantly surprised - sure this isn't the best Indian, but nor is it the worst I've ever had - the flavors seemed fairly "right on" to me. Nothing was over-the-top in heat and they offered both goat and chicken. My only disappointment was in the general warmth of several of the dishes but I wasn't really surprised due to they're being in a buffet table. The hotel pan of naan bread was abysmal - dried out and cold, however we were offered fresh so I won't count that against the place. The server also greeted us at the door and I have a feeling it may have been the owner. There's a giant fish tank in the center of the room that would have added to an otherwise plain interior, if it wasn't for the annoying child standing in front of it talking to herself regarding pretty much everything in the tank. I got to hear all as she was standing right behind me. I really don't understand this trend of parents allowing their children to run around unsupervised but that's a different issue. I won't go to much into the food itself other than to note the tandoori chicken was right on, the chicken tika masala was really good, the fried veggies cold and the biryani not worth eating. But this being a buffet there was still plenty to sample and there wasn't anything there that was worse than my expectations - actually the tika was above average I thought. So the real standout and reason for a return trip is the price - $7.99 for an evening Indian buffet! For that price I can put up with a few inferior items - heck they serve liquor too.
