    Chicken 65
    Michelle L.

Oh my gosh, everything we ordered was fantastic!! We got the following, to-go: - Chicken 65 - Chicken Tikka - Chicken Tikka Masala - Vegetable Biryani - Naan - Roti - Saag paneer The Chicken Tikka & Tikka Masala were really outstanding and so flavorful: the best renditions of both dishes I have ever had. Also was a big fan of the spicy green chutney that came with the food! But really everything was fresh, wonderfully spiced, and delicious. And we really got large portions for the amount paid. Well worth another visit! They are definitely doing dine-in right now, which I didn't realize when I initially placed the order (still trying to be extra careful for my household, since pandemic and all), but they were very kind to bring the order out curbside upon request.

Ordered Chicken 65 Pulav and Goat Biryani thru Uber Eats. Perfect packing and great service. Both were yummy and delicious. Tasty flavorful and semi good appearance. Pulav rice could definitely use more chicken, but my food arrived hot and quickly. I would have appreciated more if they have provided Mirchi Ka Salan and Raita side orders with my order. They go very well with these rice dishes. For Indian food lovers I highly recommend this restaurant. I promise you won't regret it. The chicken 65 Pulav is different from what you might usually expect in that, it is not served dry. There is a small amount of sauce coating to the chicken pieces that really enhance the flavor. I highly recommend getting this a bit spicier than you usually do. The Goat Biryani was different from other restaurants, it had a more taste of pepper and mint taste to it. The best part is that they have given a full boiled egg with each of my dish. I am no connoisseur of Indian cuisine, but I love this place for the quality, portions, and price. The convenience as it's super easy to order through Uber Eats. I look forward to becoming more familiar with their menu.

The vegetarian buffet is $12.99, while the regular buffet is $16.50, making it a great value for the variety offered. One of the highlights was the complimentary naan--soft, buttery, and fresh. The buffet featured a delicious spread, including butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, biryani, palak paneer, chana masala, samosas, and even curry goat. There was also a fresh salad bar and hot chai tea to round out the meal. The service was great, and the ambiance felt warm and authentic, which made the experience even more enjoyable. My only small critique is that I wish they had ice available for the beverages. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The food was flavorful and satisfying without leaving me feeling overly stuffed. The hot chai tea was the perfect finishing touch. I'm already looking forward to visiting again.

I got there around 3pm so most everything needed a real good stir. You could tell it had been sitting for a while. The Punjabi Khadi had one small pakora left and a whole lot of sauce. I still enjoyed it. The dishes were a bit too oily for my liking. It was good for a one meal of the day and nothing else before it in the day and nothing again until tomorrow. The service was great. The gentleman had water for me and a nice serving of fresh naan waiting for me before I even sat down. He was quick to clear dirty dishes. I've never been to Global Mall before but enjoyed a stroll after my meal.

So after…read morechurch (down the street at Ekklesia Atlanta Christian), we headed over to try this mysterious restaurant that we found on Yelp. We were the only customers at 11:30, which was fine since they had literally just opened. The restaurant smelled strongly of cleaning product, which indicated that they kept the restaurant clean, but it was a bit overwhelming to keep breathing in for 1-2 hours. So we were a little ignorant and had really no idea what to order. We ended up settling on what we knew - Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. There were 6 of us and we each ordered one of those two dishes. You can get naan or rice with your dish, which we didn't realize until later that it would cost extra. It seemed odd, because how else was I supposed to eat my curry without naan or rice? She did specify that our two chosen chicken curry dishes were very similar. Oops. As we ate, we enjoyed watching the Indian version of the show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" (forgive me if I'm not being politically correct...) playing on the big screen TV in the back of the restaurant. The chicken tikka masala was good, although I'm not sure how to identify whether it was authentic or not, and the rice was fragrant. It was definitely a unique experience - a solid 3.5 experience. I'm not sure how the restaurant is doing, as we were their only customers during our entire lunch, but it seems like the small restaurant has been around for years. Another Sunday when we're craving Indian but don't want to wander too far from church, we'll have to come give them another try. And maybe ask for more suggestions next time.

Be warned: Mughal doesn't offer a "mild" option. It just doesn't exist. Not every dish is fiery, but the flavors are bold and unapologetic and definitely not for the faint of heart. This is a "no frills" dining establishment. There is no fancy decor. There are no crowd-pleasing, Americanized dishes. Get your own water. Besides the people behind the counter, there is no full-service wait-staff. Their energy is spent on the food. And when we were there, brown people were certainly there en force, chowing down. I think the cooks are Pakistani. I may be wrong about that. Certainly they are Muslim, and their cooking leans decidedly in that direction. If you want to skip the rich gravies, go for the "mixed grill," a tandoori platter piled high with perfectly seasoned meats. Naan arrives hot, huge, and fluffy, while the basmati rice is consistently cooked to perfection.
