Spinach with potatoes
Monique' M.

A friend of mine recommended this place. I was going to stop by my usual Indian restaurant when I'm up this way, but due to her raving I decided to come here. My friend's review did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed my food and the service. I devoured the lentil soup. It was so flavorful and filling. At first I was concerned because it appeared thin. But as soon as I took a sip, I was enthralled. I could eat this all winter. The garlic naan was delicious and a large portion. It's two semi circles stacked atop each other in the picture. The spinach with potatoes were just okay day one. However, day two they were amazing! One of those dishes you have to let marinate. I would love to return here soon!

I've passed this place so many times and finally decided to give it a shot. They've got a decent menu with plenty of options. Their food is packed with flavor! The prices were a little high but its quality ingredients. The assorted appetizer was all deep fried and a little greasy but still tasty! I'd go here every few months or so when I'm craving Indian and need a quick fix!

Spicy Paneer Tikka Masala

Moon Indian Cuisine is a great spot to get well made Indian food with larger portion sizes. * Initial thoughts: The interior is nice, clean, and dimly lit. They have a large hall for parties so it did get a little loud but I doubt that is to be expected every visit. * Service Our server was kind and accommodating - nothing spectacular to note. * Food: ****Do make note that unlike other Indian restaurants, your meal isn't accompanied by any papad/papadam while you decide on ordering and waiting for your food. The food was very flavourful. Being Indian myself, I'm a bit more nit-picky when it comes to this cuisine. The portion sizes are larger than you'd get at most Indian restaurants for which I was pleasantly surprised. Please see the pictures I've attached, though you can't really tell. :) My girlfriend and I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala (basic, I know). I requested mine to be spicy and it looks like they straight up add some slices of fresh jalapenos to the dish which definitely kicked up the spice level a bit (though not unbearable). We also ordered an order of garlic naan and bullet naan. The bullet naan is essentially naan with serrano peppers baked into it (the plain looking naan from the pictures). They were warm and soft. The paneer tikka was accompanied with a bowl of saffron basmati rice with some peas inside. Paired well with the paneer tikka. * Summary If you're looking for solid Indian food with nice portion sizes and noticeable quality, Moon Indian Cuisine is a great spot to go to.

Restaurant is casual dining. We stopped in for lunch as we were in the area The owner/manager was pleasant and catered to making our dish at a special request as this was not on the menu. So we ordered the lamb korma along with garlic naan, and it was delicious. Service was excellent, or maybe cause we were the only customers in the restaurant in the afternoon. Priced right Only improvement needed was in the restrooms', they have moth balls in there that has a strong smell and toilets were dirty. Overall, I would order from this restaurant

If Anthony Bourdain came to Roswell to film an episode of A Cook's Tour, one would most surely find…read morehim seated at one of the few and small tables in Dosa Boti. Hidden behind the Corner Grocery store at the less assuming end of Canton Street, you might think it's a front for an organized crime unit that's expanded its operations from Queens and into north Atlanta. Alas, the inside is exactly what you might expect given the outside - the walls are each painted a different color - a color that you'd be hard pressed to find at Home Depot. The ceiling is mustard yellow, the kitchens Christmas green, and one wall of a small boy's bedroom pale blue. And yes, stuffed in this small space of ambiance is four TVs coupled with three gambling arcade games. The front kitchen resembles the makeup of a hot dog shop, though it's all they need. There's an outside patio that's decorated quite nicely for warmer days. Overall, the interior is what you want out of a real South Indian restaurant. You know the food will be good. You'll expect nothing less. The cuisine itself is quite vast for this little shop. A full half page itself dedicated to specialty dosas. Entrees that are common and others you may have only heard on Tony's episode to Hyderabad. It's as legit as you can find in north Georgia, perhaps anywhere in the south for that matter. The faces behind the counter are friendly and they're quick to recommend their favorites. Overall, it's a culinary experience that hinges on the senses of taste and smell and comfort that sometimes gets lost in a north Atlanta sea of overpriced menus with subpar American tacos. The next time I'm hungover, this is my spot.

Upon entering the restaurant there was no welcome, but rather a look of irritation by the guy behind the counter. I ordered carry away, so took the order and scooted. This chap actually, followed me out only to close the door. Now I really enjoy Indian food whether it be northern or southern but found the food to be acceptable. Not bad, not great. I found the portions meager. Sometimes a hole in the wall can blow you away in the best of ways. As my first time trying their food this was not my experience. Will I try it again probably who knows.
