This is currently my favorite spot around atlanta if i'm craving indian food. I tried their butter chicken and it was full of flavor. I can tell they use quality ingredients. They do it right and they offer some great deals. They were very accommodating to me as well. Highly recommend read more

First visit. Very friendly. I got the impression we were dealing with the owners, it had that customer-pleasing feel. Service was quick. Excellent food, though I'm not an expert on authentic Indian, this sure seemed to be the real thing. Sits in a strip mall, and is clean. Decor? Nice, but a bit sterile feeling. That's fine with me, but my wife wants ambiance. read more

yummy food!!! my favorite are the chicken Hakka noodles and momo. My husband and I order takeout from here every now and then

I ordered the lentil soup and the paneer tikka masala curry. I thought the lentil soup was delicious, very tasty! I would come back anytime for that soup. It tasted homemade and was very flavorful. I ordered it spiced medium. On the other hand, the curry just wasn't good. It tasted very generic and "Americanized". The paneer tasted (at minimum) pre-made. Heck, the paneer may have even been store bought. I would never get it again. The portion was huge but I'd prefer quality over quantity. read more

Our visit to Moon Indian Cuisine was a marvelous experience. As really a novice, I needed guidance and our server, Mabrur, was most helpful and informative. I selected Chicken Tikka Kabab and our other dish was Paneer Tikka Masala. We opted for mild spicing. The food was served family-style which made sharing easy. We combined our dishes for a wonderful, most enjoyable meal. The Chicken Tikka Kabab came on a sizzling platter; it looked and tasted fantastic. The Paneer Tikka Masala came in a bowl with plenty of sauce. That sauce was fabulous. Along with tasty Garlic Naan this was an extraordinarily enjoyable dining experience. We will certainly return to Moon Indian Cuisine. read more

Great food and service. Love the Madras Chicken and Tikka Masala! The garlic naan is a bonus!

Our favorite Indian food near us, great staff, and good food. Always timely, and worth the money

A friend of mine recommended this place. I was going to stop by my usual Indian restaurant when I'm up this way, but due to her raving I decided to come here. My friend's review did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed my food and the service. I devoured the lentil soup. It was so flavorful and filling. At first I was concerned because it appeared thin. But as soon as I took a sip, I was enthralled. I could eat this all winter. The garlic naan was delicious and a large portion. It's two semi circles stacked atop each other in the picture. The spinach with potatoes were just okay day one. However, day two they were amazing! One of those dishes you have to let marinate. I would love to return here soon! read more

I don't eat a lot of Indian food but when I do I go to the moon. The atmosphere is like family style. The servers and Manager treat you like family and will make recommendations upon request. Best Indian food in Atlanta. read more

I recently found this Indian Restaurant and thought it would be my "go to" Indian Restaurant forever. Good food, but be aware that they add a 3.5 % surcharge to all credit card transactions which is not mentioned on the menu. The trend with Indian Restaurants is to charge the customer for using their credit card for purchases. A surcharge is added to the bill. Customer's should not be paying for the credit card terminal. The credit card terminal is the businesses cost and not the customers. I'm very disappointed that this restaurant is greedy and has one price for entrees paid with cash and another price for entrees paid with a credit card. The price listed is not the final price. I will find another Indian restaurant that just appreciates a customers business and does not have added cost for paying with a credit card. I will not support businesses that have surprise fees. read more

I've passed this place so many times and finally decided to give it a shot. They've got a decent menu with plenty of options. Their food is packed with flavor! The prices were a little high but its quality ingredients. The assorted appetizer was all deep fried and a little greasy but still tasty! I'd go here every few months or so when I'm craving Indian and need a quick fix! read more

Moon Indian Cuisine - Garlic Naan - Indian Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

Moon Indian Cuisine is a great spot to get well made Indian food with larger portion sizes. * Initial thoughts: The interior is nice, clean, and dimly lit. They have a large hall for parties so it did get a little loud but I doubt that is to be expected every visit. * Service Our server was kind and accommodating - nothing spectacular to note. * Food: ****Do make note that unlike other Indian restaurants, your meal isn't accompanied by any papad/papadam while you decide on ordering and waiting for your food. The food was very flavourful. Being Indian myself, I'm a bit more nit-picky when it comes to this cuisine. The portion sizes are larger than you'd get at most Indian restaurants for which I was pleasantly surprised. Please see the pictures I've attached, though you can't really tell. :) My girlfriend and I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala (basic, I know). I requested mine to be spicy and it looks like they straight up add some slices of fresh jalapenos to the dish which definitely kicked up the spice level a bit (though not unbearable). We also ordered an order of garlic naan and bullet naan. The bullet naan is essentially naan with serrano peppers baked into it (the plain looking naan from the pictures). They were warm and soft. The paneer tikka was accompanied with a bowl of saffron basmati rice with some peas inside. Paired well with the paneer tikka. * Summary If you're looking for solid Indian food with nice portion sizes and noticeable quality, Moon Indian Cuisine is a great spot to go to. read more

Omg ! Flavor , flavor & flavor !!!! So delicious I really can't say much more. Since moving here from Los Angeles we've been searching for Indian food , I'm so thrilled we found it. We did a take out order so I can't speak to the ambiance of the restaurant BUT when I came to pick up food , it looked quaint little spot. I highly recommend the veggie pakora, samosas, tikka masala , palak paneer, chana masala , rice , garlic naan and I think that's all we had. Very excited to eat here again. read more

Outstanding food! I got both times the palak paneer and the tandoori chicken. It was amazing. I got both orders to go and the orders were ready as scheduled. One improvement would be if they had some gluten free naan. Otherwise, great place to eat Indian food. read more

Restaurant is casual dining. We stopped in for lunch as we were in the area The owner/manager was pleasant and catered to making our dish at a special request as this was not on the menu. So we ordered the lamb korma along with garlic naan, and it was delicious. Service was excellent, or maybe cause we were the only customers in the restaurant in the afternoon. Priced right Only improvement needed was in the restrooms', they have moth balls in there that has a strong smell and toilets were dirty. Overall, I would order from this restaurant read more

I was looking for Indian food at an odd time of day, late afternoon, and found Moon Indian Cuisine because they were open. I started off with a mango lassi and knew as soon as I tasted it that I had found a good restaurant! I had the chicken madras and my husband had the chicken korma. Both were delicious and both were spiced just right. And the garlic naan was perfect with plenty of garlic. I definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

We like BIR style curry's. No wimpy American palate for us, and the Moon delivers. Particularly like the chicken 65, the bhona and the madras. The vegetable pakora always gets things going well. We usually do take out but the restarting looks good and clean. read more

Food was only okay.. I've had better Indian food. I was excited to try a new spot but it disappointed real bad

Ordered carry out. Unclear to me if rice does or does not come with the orders. I'll need to ask next time I order. I ordered 1 side of white rice and received two giant containers!!! Also a side of the cumin rice Jeera- another large container. So I had a LOT of leftover rice. We tried the saag paneer, chicken tikka masala and lamb korma. All delicious and satisfyingly spicy as requested!! Pricing is appropriate. We had enough for leftovers the next day. read more

Great selection, flavors, and service at a reasonable price! The curries are amazing and customizable to order. They are generous with their rice which comes included with orders of curry. The servers offer friendly, prompt, and professional service that makes the dine-in experience favorable. The owner is friendly and very welcoming every time I stop by for a good meal. He cares for the quality and satisfaction needs of every customer showing value. I never had a negative moment that I even remember of. Food comes out fairly fast and still great in flavors and spices. Rice and naan are consistently made good as well. I recommend! read more

Wow! We finally gave Moon a try last night for dinner and it was fabulous. We've been missing out not dining there sooner. The owners are so nice and if you ask them for assistance in ordering they can help make great recommendations for you. We had the garlic Nann Bread which was to die for and the Butter Chicken - mild, and the Clay Pot chicken - mild with rice. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back and keep exploring new things on the menu. The restaurant is clean and nice inside, great service and very fresh food. Give them a try if you are in the Rivermont/ Nesbit/ Holcomb Bridge area! read more

Butter chicken was good, medium was too spicy for me but it was very good. Rice pudding was tasty, I had food Togo and didn't dine inside

The Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan were amazing! The service was impeccable and loved the ambience. Will be back again!

Disappointed that someone could get a tandoori platter - wrong! Everything was covered in a tomato-ketchup sauce and it killed the flavors. The tandoori items were flavorless / not good either. read more

great place for indian food!! some dishes can be a bit sweeter than the normal, but i did like the take on small indian restaurant

Min's food is AMAZING. We order from his restaurant at least 2-3 times a month. The yogurt/cream curries are never separated (rare with most Indian food deliveries), he is very good with suggestions if you describe what you want - creamy, veggie, etc. My kids insist on mild chicken masala or makhani and it's always perfect for them. It's really shocking how amazing this place is. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. read more
