T A S T E Deli Sandwich : if you're from the metro Atlanta area, you know about Publix! What isn't there to love? My sister and I came in and we ordered one of their specials which was a full sandwich for 8$. It came with sliced chicken, bacon, cream cheese, pepper jelly, three pepper Colby Jack cheese, and whatever toppings you wanted. We definitely did not want half of that stuff lol and the person behind the counter was nice enough to let us customize it. We also got it on mountain bread which comes up to being two full sandwiches because it's on sliced bread. So we essentially got two sandwiches for the price of one. This is normal for Publix, and was not a hook up or a favor. Overall, the ingredients were really fresh. S E R V I C E I appreciated that we were able to customize a sandwich however we wanted. Also, the woman behind the counter was super nice and gracious, and she had a great conversation, a lovely spirit, and a warm demeanor. The woman who check this out was also super nice. It's just nice being in the south and having people be super friendly. It's common at Publix, but this particular day the people went out of their way to be very friendly. A M B I E N C E I don't like Kroger generally because they look very rundown and damn. This Publix was close to reminding me of Kroger. I definitely need some updates. It is in an order section of Norcross, but hopefully they update it one day. P R I C E 8$ for a full Publix sub 5$ for 2 1/2 gallons of tea. One sweet. One unsweet. R A T I N G 1 star off because it's pretty outdated on the inside

Why not call to confirm so that the food can be ready by the pickup time?? My wrap was missing so many things that I requested to be in it. I used to love a good pub sub but it's definitely going downhill, sadly.

So when I heard about this place, I was excited and had to take a chance. I was surprised at the number of restaurants I had to choose from and actually had a hard time picking on out because there were so many good choices. I finally settled on one and placed my order online. You have to call them if it's your first time ordering for confirmation but that's only a one time thing. The driver came right on the ETA they gave me at delivery. I liked that they email you notifications when your driver arrives at your restaurant of choice and is on his way to you. Overall, I'm ecstatic that I now have delivery options out here in BFE. Will definitely use them again.

After you've placed your order, you're emailed a tracking number and your receipt. You can track your order via their website right up to the time it hits your door, and our order arrived on time. Food was hot and the delivery charge is a good deal. On top of the good service, what really impressed me was how well they handled a couple hiccups. The deliverer didn't have the Coke we ordered. He gave us a Coke Zero and a Sprite to make up for it. I was emailed my tracking number, but the receipt didn't come through. I sent a contact us message through their website, and within minutes their company President emailed me the receipt apologizing for the minor hiccup. No doubt that I will be using their service again. No business runs perfect 100% of the time, and it's a testament to a good company on how they handle the minor hiccups. Those are the companies that go from good to great.

I've tried pretty much all the meal subscription plans out there and I still order regularly from a couple. I really like Dinner A'Fare's concept. I often don't want to cook a meal on the day the box arrives. Their meals are efficiently packaged so you can just put them in the freezer when the box gets here. I just need to thaw it overnight in the fridge to cook it the next day. I also like that the meals are mainly just the main entree, or they might sometimes include a rice or potato side. I prefer to cook my own sides because we like some veggies and not others, and we prefer to personalize the sides for our taste. Each box includes wine and side ideas to go with each meal in case you're stumped for ideas. So they plan the most time intensive part of the meal and I get to personalize it with whatever sides I want. You can also order separate sides from their growing menu, and desserts too. I like how easy the meals are to prepare. The instructions are pretty basic and it's mainly a matter of throwing everything together. No measuring, chopping or mixing. I've only ordered 15 meals so far and really liked all of them. My husband, who is a pickier eater, has been really happy with the meals. He likes the portion sizes because he's a lover of leftovers and there's always enough left for his lunch the next day. Dinner A'fare's meal entrees are not designed for vegans or vegetarians. And many of their options are not allergen friendly. I doubt they'll change that as this concept has worked for them for years.
