At the counter, the woman helping us made a clear effort not to engage. She used as few words as humanly possible and avoided any interaction beyond the absolute minimum. The man standing next to her said nothing at all -- just stood there the entire time. We ordered a Caprese sandwich, a chocolate chip cookie, and a chocolate babka. The only bright spot was the woman who checked us out -- she was warm, friendly, and clearly understands customer service. As for the food: * The Caprese sandwich had virtually no flavor -- the pesto was undetectable, and even the tomatoes were bland. * The chocolate chip cookie was very basic and also lacked flavor. * The babka was the worst of all -- extremely dry, with chocolate flaking out when cut, and an off-putting flavor. I took one bite and threw it away. Overall, a disappointing experience in both service and food quality -- aside from the cashier, who was excellent.

I have placed several orders with them and have been satisfied up to this point (minus a couple of flavors I didn't care for, but you can't please everyone!). I appreciate the variety in the menu and the healthier options. I also like that you can customize each "plate" of food to your diet or liking. There are plenty of options, even Whole30, Paleo, and vegan. I noticed that many of the negative reviews had to do with delivery issues. Unfortunately, I can't speak to any of those. I live outside of the delivery area and pick-up my food myself. The pick-up process is extremely easy and I haven't had any problems! Overall, everything I ordered reminded me of hospital food and very unappetizing. The standards are below par you would expect from a local meal delivery service. One container is supposed to be Korean ground beef with rice and other braised beef rigatoni.

From the incredible attention to detail, realistic design, and working headlights to the absolutely delicious taste, everything exceeded my expectations! When I first saw the cake, my mouth literally dropped open! I was completely blown away. The craftsmanship was so amazing that people actually thought it was a toy car instead of a cake! We celebrated at Fleming's, and I cannot tell you how many people approached us just to admire the cake and ask who made it. I proudly shared Liud's business information because talent like hers deserves recognition! What impressed me even more was her professionalism and care. She personally carried the cake out to our vehicle and made sure it was safely positioned for transport. She wouldn't even let us carry it ourselves! That alone showed me how much pride she takes in her work and how seriously she values her customers. And let me tell you, the cake tasted every bit as AMAZING as it looked! It was almost too beautiful to cut, but we enjoyed every delicious bite! Most importantly, seeing my son's face light up when he saw his birthday cake was priceless. Liud helped make his milestone 10th birthday truly unforgettable. Thank you, Liud, for going above and beyond! Your talent, professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service are unmatched. Every single penny was worth it, and I would recommend you without hesitation!

I just love Platefully. Love. I cannot stress that word enough -- LOVE!…read more These folks have been an absolute godsend (a word I do not throw around lightly) during a really rough patch. My husband and I have gone through a period where we've been unemployed/underemployed (because of covid paired with a series of surgeries and health challenges). Platefully's "pay what you can" program has allowed us to have access to amazing fresh healthy meal kits at a time when we've been faced with a lot of extra medical expenses, money is tight, food prices are soaring, and our resources are extremely limited. Honestly if it weren't for these lovely people, we'd be living off of ramen noodles and hot dogs right now -- so I thank them from the bottom of my heart for making this service available. One thing I love is that they're convenient. I adore cooking, but I haven't had the wherewithal to do extensive prep work (especially chopping and beating and things that take upper body strength) because of my surgeries -- their kits make it easy for me to whip up yummy nutritious meals with very little effort. Plus I know we're getting quality ingredients (fresh veggies and meats, not a lot of additives or fake food or other crap like you often get with pre-prepared meals). Plus their kits are super versatile! The included recipes are great as is, but I'm not real good at authority, so I rarely follow their directions (and my goal is to get the biggest bang for my edible buck) -- so I almost always end up adding a few extra fresh veggies along with some ingredients from my own pantry to create something a bit different and unusual, and to expand the servings to feed myself and my husband for the week. And oh my lord, don't get me started on how tasty their stuff is -- main dishes of course, but damn, them desserts and their standard hummus appetizer are incredible! Most of all, I appreciate the generosity and community spirit behind this amazing social entrepreneurship venture. At a time when it seems all you hear about on the news is divisiveness and ugliness, these people really care about their neighbors, and are doing something to make the world a better place. Half of what they make goes toward helping to cover food costs for those who can't afford the full price -- so every meal kit you buy is helping another human being to live a little bit healthier. I so appreciate their assistance during this challenging time -- I can't wait until we're back on our feet and I'm done with my surgeries, so we can pay that forward for someone else. Keep fighting the good fight, y'all!
