Came here on a week night for a birthday. The place is in a weird strip but there is plenty of parking. We had a reservation because of how many of us there were, but that was definitely not needed. The service was decent, but you could tell they are still learning. The drinks weren't good so beware of that. The kashk bademjoon was probably the best thing from menu. Everything else felt like it was missing something. Not enough seasoning maybe? There's so much persian food in the city that tastes better so I'd recommend trying those out instead. Everything here is just average.

I enjoyed everything about Farsi. I got the chenjeh Kabob which was seasoned and flavorful. I enjoyed the salmon as well. The lamb shank was tender fall off the bone but it was not seasoned as much as I would like. The drink were really good my favorite was the garden drink it was made with matcha but it was really good. The service was amazing shout out to Alicia. There was not a long wait at all and there was plenty of free parking. This restaurant also services hookah. The vibes were nice I would definitely be back. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the menu collection it could have been more extensive to me which is what I'm used to as Mediterranean restaurants but I enjoyed my experience.

Visited here the other night on a whim and I will be back when I am dressed. Got here around 7 on a Friday and were the about the only ones there until another 35 mins or so, that's when ppl started coming in. They just started a happy hour from 4-6pm according to the pleasant Ashia (I'm wondering if I spelled her name correctly.) Happy Hour includes half off entrees, cocktails and hookah she believes. Will be back to check out happy hour and outdoor seating. The ambiance was lovely and so was the staff. The food was delicious and I'll be getting the lamb chops next time, my friend really enjoyed hers and that is her third time coming back for them. They've been here since the summer, give them a try!

"Hooka Smoke Lounge and Loud Club dining" Dropped into Farsi after reading glowing reviews on a Friday evening around 8pm for a Persian style bbq dinner. First impressions were good and confusing: I was expecting a restaurant to have dinner at and I entered into what looked like an urban chic loft with a blue LED lit dining room with blaring loud, electronic trance music on the speakers while observing two tables with guests smoking hookah! So not the dining experience I was expecting but I decided to stay anyway. The menu is quite limited but the bbq menu is similar to most Persian eataries and plates although they are priced on the very high side. The only reference to anything Persian with Farsi's decor is a carpet hung by the left end of the dining room. Patrons at the fully stocked bar appeared to be there for the cocktails as were the three other tables that had patrons smoking hooka and drinking. So this restaurant should be classified more as a smoking lounge bar than an eatery. The waitress attending to my order was very friendly and attentive. I started my order with the lentil soup ($8.99) which wasn't that great as it tasted liquidy and very watered down - although it was dowsed with olive oil garnish which was not needed; would definitely not order that again Next came the Shirazi salad ($7.99) which had a lovely presentation in the deep ceramic round plate but the diced onions, cucumbers and parsley dish had only a small slivering of tomatoes, lacked lemon, salt and pepper and was extremely oily from being refreshed with dollops of olive oil; having the ingredients swimming and taking laps in olive oil doesn't improve the freshness or taste of the diced ingredients! At my request, The very friendly waitress kindly brought lemon wedges and salt/pepper shakers and I opted, without success, to liven up my dish a little rather than complain... Next! The main course I picked was the broiled chicken breast cubes and Koobideh ground beef skewer combination ($31.99). It was very pricey for the portion received as it was served in a small rectangular olive plate. However, it was definitely very tasty and the highlight of the meal - the chicken was ultra tender and juicy; the small Amount of basmati rice, 1/2 grilled tomato wedge and the few slivers of sumac- spiced sliced red onions were great accompaniments to the amazing meat. So, given the clubby ambiance, smoke from the hooka, loud trance music and not so good, watered down and oily lentil soup, extremely oily Shirazi salad, terrific great meat platter albeit the small portion and pricey dinner plate - why is Farsi still getting 3 stars for this review? Well, I was pleasantly surprised by the sudden changing of the loud trance music to an Arabian music beat; dining room lights suddenly lit up like they should have been in the first place - and a super enthusiastic, traditionally dressed belly dancer showed up to entertain the few patrons in the dining room over 2 songs around 9:10pm. The belly dancer surprise, coupled with the restaurant's loft industrial decor, a nice very imposing chandelier in the middle of the dining room's ceiling and the juicy tender chicken of the main course platter saved the day! I won't be back anytime soon as there are dozens of Persian style eateries in Atlanta and I was definitely not looking for a discotheque/hooka smoking lounge to dine at. But; nonetheless; it was quite the experience and the belly dancer's 2 song show on this Friday early evening was a pleasant and welcome surprise that made Farsi not all that bad...OPA!!!! OPA!!!

Let's start with the food. It was really tasty. I enjoyed the kobideh and beef sirloin kebab. Everything was seasoned to perfection. My friends and I went on a Friday night and there was afrobeats playing. Loved the vibe I ordered the queen of Persia cocktail and it was a nice watermelon mix. The menu wasn't too much and straight to the point The waitress was lovely and the manager made sure we were taken care of. I will be back there Only con is that they charge 20% gratuity (I believe it's only for parties of four and above) Also I wish there were more side options likes veggies, potatoes or fries.

The experience here because of the awesome Dj and belly dancer was great! Every time i thought the belly dancer was done she would come back out with something new to share! The food was delicious! Drinks are great as well , our server was absolutely terrible and disrespected my friend ( birthday girl) but thankfully other servers and the manager stepped in to help! I don't believe in leaving a low star raring because of one server that couldn't fulfill her job i would definitely come back for the experience and food and just make sure i would be sat with a great sever !

The drinks, music, and entertainment were so amazin... My drunk butt tried to be a part of it!

Had an amazing time!!! Puoja was amazin!!! My birthday rosé, lamb chops, shrimp, watermelon salad, hummus, steak, and everydamnthing I tasted was full of flavor and beautifully presented! We'll definitely be back!!!

Most of the food items were really good! We always are on a hunt to find halal restaurants that have a good ambiance and decor, and they have a beautiful restaurant. The service was great, even though the server we got was most likely new. However, she still did a great job! Overall it was a great experience. Price was decent compared to the other Persian or Turkish restaurants we have been to. Really enjoyed our time. Will definitely go again. :)

Food was appetizing, & Chicken was juicy, service and environment was very pleasant. Don't go on a budget, we will definitely be returning Chicken Kabob

Nicely laid out bar. Open late for night owls.

Came in for a late night meal, very pleasantly surprised. The hummus and kabobs are fantastic. Watermelon martini was extremely flavorful and not watery like at many places. They haven't been open long but give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Open late which was a huge extra bonus

Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts. I'm not really into vegetables and I was a little worried when it showed up and didn't look very appealing to me - but it was SO good. Loved it. The staff were seemingly entertained that I liked it - apparently it's only Persian people that are into it, and they kind of laughed when I wanted to take the leftovers with me. My son liked it too though! And he's picky. We were getting ready to go when suddenly they brought an ice cream and wished me happy birthday. I think they heard my son wish me a happy birthday at dinner. Just really paying attention to detail. So this bright yellow Persian ice cream shows up. I've never had it. It's got a saffron-pistachio-rose thing going on that actually really works! Much of this is probably very familiar to those who have enjoyed Persian food before. Delbar absolutely does. The food here stands on its own--layered, interesting and incredibly delicious. I had been looking forward to dinner at Delbar Old Milton for two reasons: a long-overdue dinner with an old colleague and a serious craving for Middle Eastern food. After battling Atlanta-area traffic from Marietta--it took nearly an hour for what should have been about a 30-minute drive--I was ready to settle in, catch up and EAT. I'd previously been to Delbar in Inman Park with a group and loved it, so expectations were high. Old Milton did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Warm, sophisticated and beautifully designed, with a Persian rug welcoming you along the entrance and complimentary valet parking--a huge plus. The young valet team was impressively polished and efficient. I started with a Paper Plane, apparently my new financially irresponsible cocktail habit. Delicious, but these things are expensive! I blame the Italian liqueur. Two cocktails pushed north of $40, so perhaps I need a more economical signature drink. Then came the food. We started with the beet carpaccio: red beets, whipped feta, burnt honey, sour orange, pistachio and almond dukkha. Beautifully balanced--earthy, creamy, sweet, tart and nutty all at once. I let my dinner companion take over ordering from there, which proved to be an excellent decision. The Bandari Olovieh was the surprise of the evening: saffron-marinated smoked salmon with cream cheese, dill, chives, jalapeño purée, potatoes, Aleppo pepper, urfa, hot sauce, fried capers and cornichons, served with saffron potato chips. I'm not usually a salmon person, yet I loved this. The salmon was mild and delicate without the stronger flavor I sometimes associate with salmon or trout. And those saffron potato chips? Dangerous. I could happily eat a bowl of them. We also had the koobideh kabob, made with ground beef brisket and lamb shoulder with onion and saffron, served over taftoun with grilled pepper, tomato and sumac onions. Tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Wrapped in that bread, it was almost like the world's most delicious little Middle Eastern slider. By then, we were DONE. I had every intention of trying dessert, but there was simply no room. It was also getting late, and work was waiting for both of us the next morning. Next visit. Service throughout dinner was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a menu where good servers matter. Ours could explain the dishes and ingredients rather than simply take an order, and that added to the experience. Two small notes on the space. If Atlanta is doing its summertime furnace impression, I'd avoid tables near the doors leading to the patio. Every time they opened, a blast of hot air rolled through. Sit farther inside and enjoy the AC. And while I loved the Persian rug and overall design, the faux flowers and wisteria covering the entrance pergola weren't my favorite. Atlanta sun is brutal on anything artificial, and the rest of the restaurant is sophisticated enough that the entrance deserves something equally polished. Those are minor quibbles. The important part is this: Delbar is serving seriously delicious food in a beautiful setting with thoughtful service. If you're anywhere around Alpharetta or Roswell, make the detour. This place is not to be missed. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal! Sorry, no photos;(

The decor inside and outside are unique and are a treat to the eyes. The bar is open, bright and spacious. The dining area is comfy and has a great layout. The food is colorful, fresh and flavorful. Every bight was amazing awakened my taste buds. From the variety of hummus and the proteins we selected, beef, lamb and salmon and we couldn't go wrong... Our drinks were strong and refreshing. Service from Averi was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. Came to replenish drinks and clear plates frequently. I will dine here again when visiting town. Give this place a try. Thank me later.

Looking for a cute, classy Turkish restaurant in the heart of Virginia Highlands. This is your…read morespot! I went for happy hour which I highly recommend. It's from 3-6pm Monday through Thursday (I believe). They have $6-8 cocktails and a variety of food in the $5-10 range. The food was all fantastic, as was our waiter. He constantly checked on us, kept the complimentary bread supplied, and gave great recs for both food and cocktails. I love a waiter who explains the menu so you know what you're getting into beforehand. As we were leaving, it was torrentially down-pouring and the host was so kind to let me borrow his umbrella to get to my car. It's rare to find this level of hospitality these days and it made my already great experience here even better.

Spots I would rather recommend for a nice night out are Delbar, Rumi's, and Yalda. My friends and I tried the Muhammara Dip, the Feta Cheese Rolls (reminiscent of spanakopita but no spinach and in roll form), the Truva Dumplings, and the Iskender Kebab. The Iskender Kebab and the Muhammara were the best of the bunch, but overall I think I was expecting more punch from the spices and greater nuance in the flavors of each dish. The thing I honestly enjoyed most was the complimentary bread and sun-dried tomato dip, which has gotten a number of shoutouts of Yelp already. I would come back to this spot to get a handful of appetizers, eat that bread, and hang out for a few hours. It does seem like the restaurant needs more staffing. Everyone we saw was very kind, but it took a long time to get a server's attention whenever we needed something.
