    Heirloom tomato salad
    Sa'Rah H.

What a beautiful restaurant! I went here for double date and the vibes were perfect. Beautiful, romantic yet lively. It was a busy Saturday night but luckily we had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our server, Essence, was such a sweetheart and did her best to stay on top of refills, table cleaning and getting us our food quickly. We ordered drinks, I forwent a cocktail and had a chai tea mocktail. Everyone else had pretty cocktails- which apparently were amazing. When it comes to the food, we ordered quite a few things but my favorite was the heirloom tomatoes salad and the sea bass which was so buttery and seasoned to perfection. I enjoyed the pickled veggies as well. We were so stuffed and didn't order a dessert but Essence treated us to a lovely cardamom ice cream dish to top off our meal. I'd love to visit this place again.

I've been here a number of times and can say, Delbar is a consistent restaurant. On my most recent visit, I came around 5:15 on a Friday and surprisingly it was already packed. Thankfully I was still able to grab a table in the sunroom. They have a new menu right now for the season so the dubai drift is no more so instead, I ordered the Get Figgy With It. It was so good. Refreshing, sweet with a hint of sage. That's a drink I'd order again. This time around, I came to get two things: the mushroom hummus no egg and the shrimp. And they did not disappoint per usual. The size of the shrimp are big and healthy; grilled to perfection. And you a heaping serving of mushrooms sprinkled on top of the hummus. My server was good. It can get a little nosey in the restaurant; just an FYI if you're looking for something quieter.

TLDR: hanger steak kebab was great, wings were flavorful but small. Wings: nice smoky flavor, slightly dry, very small. Excellent flavor, very unique 8/10 Hummus: good flavor, wish there was a little more olive oil. Crunchy chickpeas were so good. Tasted very clean overall, 8.2 Sabzi polo: very good flavor, slightly salty I prefer this one to the sweet one. Texture is great: 9 Chinjeh: a little overcooked more like medium well, flavor excellent, slightly dry 8 Hanger steak: definitely the favorite of the night, perfect medium rare, super tender and flavorful. Only edges slightly dry, 8.5 Lamb neck: texture so soft you barely need to chew, unfortunately not as strong of a flavor as I would have liked, mostly just tasted like salt: 7 Endive citrus salad: we always get this but it was a bit more bitter than usual? Still a great refreshing dish to cut through some of the meat dishes. Got candied walnuts on the side to accommodate one of our parties allergies. 8/10 Was pretty busy on a random Wednesday night at around 730! Outside seating includes blankets for if you get cold. Service was excellent, but the online payment includes a 3 dollar transaction fee per card so I'd recommend just paying physically.

Do you like to travel but just can't get that vacation time? Well look no further than Del Bar, this breathtaking restaurant transports you to Iran with its traditional Persian dishes with influences from countries like Turkey, Lebanon, and Iraq. The interior is a luxurious sanctuary defined by its rich textiles, handwoven rugs, flora, and opulent colors. On my many visits I've gotten a plethora of dishes that have been all divine. They start you off with a complimentary sabzi plate that comes with feta, salt-water soaked walnuts, radishes, tarragon, watercress, & mint that serve as an opener and a palate cleanser in between dishes. I would recommend you order the hummus & top it off with savory lamb. As for the main course I was partial to hanger steak and the shishlik [Lamb Chops]. It's all à la cart style, so you must get the adas polo rice! Delicious is an understatement! Their drink menus doesn't fall short and since I'm partial to cucumber I recommend the Sharbat e Sekanjaben , you will not be disappointed! Of course I had to get dessert! I can't decide which one is better the baklava or the pistachio lava cake! Get both, life is too short. The staff gave excellent service that often was felt rather than seen and they anticipate our needs without being intrusive, ensuring a seamless dining experience. They have valet parking at a $10 cost. This place is perfect for any accession. Don't cheat yourself but treat yourself and make a reservation asap!

I finally made it out to Delbar after hearing constant positive reviews- and they didn't disappoint! My friend and I had some time to kill so we grabbed a seat at the bar for drinks and an app. The bartender was super laid back, giving us true Sunday vibes. We ordered a Persian Lager beer and a Lebanese Pilsner. We sampled each other's beers- they are good in different ways- the Lager is like a Pacifico or Dos Equis... the Pilsner came out with little foam at the head- but it was good. It's not really bold, and it has a very distinct flavor, I would have ordered another if I wasn't pressed for time. The wine prices averaged at $16, same for the cocktails, the beers were $8-$10. As soon as we sat, they brought out a Persian sesame flatbread for the hummus and a complimentary plate of tarragon, Mint, and arrugala, with chopped radishes, walnuts, a soft cheese and a small wedge of hard cheese- loved it! The hummus was a 10/10- silky smooth with a really strong garlic tahiny taste. It was topped with small dices of red onion and cucumber, roasted chickpeas, drizzled with olive oil and topped with a very soft boiled egg. Just a note- if you are not like me and don't enjoy a soft egg- this will gross you out. It's very runny into the hummus. I loved it, I stand by my 10- but runny eggs are not for the faint- so consider asking for it to be more cooked. Right off the beltline, good amount of parking- I really enjoyed finally making it out to Delbar!

This was my first time coming for brunch and the food was incredible as always. I absolutely loved every dish we got - from the eggplant appetizer to the rice to the smoked salmon and more. We also celebrated a birthday and the dessert was out of this world. I left extremely full, with leftovers too, and extremely happy. I honestly think this might be the best restaurant in Atlanta!

I HIGHLY recommend to make a reservation, especially on weekends. The bar is first come first serve; however, a wait without a reservation can be several hours. The hummus with the roasted chickpeas is an essential appetizer. Also, the walnuts and feta were an amazing touch for the meat entrees. Would definitely come back and love the matches they offer at the hostess stand!

Delbar remains a stalwart in Atlanta. It's a scene, especially in the summer, the bar and the outdoor patio. Not surprisingly the newer Buckhead location is even more of a scene! The Prime Sirloin, humid with lamb, big ball of pomegranate, lamb and walnuts (fancy exotic name) appetizer, and the minced beef appetizer are my favs. Cocktails start approaching Chicago prices but they do use good liquors. Having lived in NYC, L.A. and now Chicago there are roughly 10-12 places I really respect in ATL. Delbar is one of them.

I had a wonderful experience at Delbar! I came with a group of friends and had a reservation. The wait was a little bit longer, maybe 10-15 minutes beyond our reservation start time. Once we were seated though, the service was exceptional. Our server, Nasser, went above and beyond to walk us through the menu and all of the sides and drinks we should order to complement the food. The food itself was delicious, but I definitely ordered too much for myself. If you get full quickly and are sharing with one person, I'd recommend one meat, one grain, one side. The stand out dishes were any hummus dish, the chicken kofta, and the sabzi polo. I also tried the beets carpaccio and the roasted cauliflower but did not care too much for the flavors. Overall, the service, food, and ambiance were perfect for a fancy night out and I would recommend to anyone looking for a flavorful dinner in Atlanta!

Wow! This place is worth every second of its Michelin Recommendation! I will say from the moment we arrived we were quickly seated and I highly recommend making a reservation and take advantage of your resy credits here if you have an Amex. We received tons of help navigating the menu which helped us understand and enjoy this Iranian based restaurant that seeks to fuse and inspire some other cuisines like Turkish which we love. The food was amazing and I highly recommend the Adana bite as a starter as it's so flavorful and juicy. I also recommend the sabzi pollo (rice) dish as our server recommended it and we loved it. If you like lamb chops I urge you to try the Shishlik as it is their own very special version of lamb chops that combines a sweet taste along with other herbs for an interesting experience for your tastebuds. Lastly, we went on a tuesday so parking was fairly easy to find but keep that in mind. The place was however still packed with a very moody ambience for a nice romantic candle lit dinner date.

    Omani Shrimp (4/5)
    Ryan S.

For appetizers, we got the Omani shrimp (4/5), hummus (4.25/5), and the falafel plate (4.5/5). The shrimp were excellently cooked and seasoned but a little expensive for four of them. The hummus was good; we enjoyed the crispy chickpeas. The flatbread was nice and light and a more unique combination than the usual pita and hummus. The falafel was great, and the side salad with it was also good! For a grain, we got the Adas Polo (5/5), which was our favorite dish of the night. The crispy crust was fantastic, and the raisins really worked with it, which surprised us. It was also a massive portion; we maybe ate a third of it and were completely stuffed. For a protein, we got the salmon kebab, which was good but nothing special (4/5). The skin was somewhat crispy but could have been a bit more and less charred. It was well cooked but not seasoned that much. Overall, it was good but a little bland and lackluster. Service was phenomenal; our waitress was so nice and helpful (5/5)! Since we were celebrating a birthday, they also brought out complimentary baklava ice cream, which was also excellent (5/5). The ambiance of the restaurant is also very nice (4.5/5)! Overall, we had an excellent time. I'll give it a 4.5/5; I'd give it a 5 if the salmon or shrimp were a bit better. We're excited to come again and try more items!

Za'atar fries, koobideh, zhoug, dill labneh, crudite, and complimentary herbs, cheese, radish, and walnut.
    Mollie D.

I don't even know where to start, honestly. I read about Delbar many months before I knew I'd be visiting ATL. When I had the opportunity to dine, I was blown away. The vibe is modern and Persian, with nods to Mediterranean Lebanon and Turkey. Yafe was my waiter. He was incredibly personable and very knowledgeable of the menu, to include items to accommodate my gluten allergy. We had delightful conversation - he was attentive and fun. They're lucky to have him on their team. I had the Dill labneh with crudité, za'atar fries, and koobideh. Truly an excellent meal. I've only had one other meal make me tear up from pure enjoyment...this was the second. Everything was so fresh and rich in flavor. The zhoug, sumac, and sauce that came with the fries were absolutely divine. I could not have imagined the meal without these supporting cast members. Highly recommend using a pinch of sumac with the koobideh and getting wild with a dollop of dill labneh as well. Speaking of: koobideh. It is so tender, juicy, and flavorful. Rich and savory. I ate the leftovers for lunch the following day and it was just as tasty. I will undoubtedly be thinking about this meal for quite some time. Delbar is well worth the hype. Oh! I can't forget to share the kindness of Yafe and the Delbar crew: they brought me a gluten free dessert on the house. I cannot remember the name, but it was a perfect citrusy not-too-sweet end to an impeccable meal. It reminded me of a sorbet with mochi-like rice with a sour cherry + slice of fresh lemon to drizzle over the top. Chef's kiss.

I want to schedule a dinner with colleagues after a conference but we are all accountable to different expense accounts. Will the waiter issue individual checks for a table of 6? What's the most?

The restaurant uses a payment system that allows you to pay for your individual items. I used it for a group of 6 and it was easy and convenient, I would love if all restaurants had this option

Can we wear jeans and a tshirt?

    Yes...there's no dress code.

Are there any halal items if so what are they?

Owner stated online in 2020 that the only halal item then was the lamb chops. But, he said they would have more at some point... Hope this helps.

Hi, what are your halal options for meat?

My wife and I dined yesterday for Valentines Day and saw on social media that they handed out boxes with wine and strawberries to guest. Were there only certain tables that these were given too?

It's special package that you buy on special occasion.

Are the rice dishes like sabzi polo and adas polo prepared with butter? (Lactose sensitive)

Yes, you can taste lots and lots of butter

Where can I find the Valentine's Day menu?

I don't think they have dedicated valentine's menu You will have to call to confirm.

What are the halal options here?

    Chicken, lamb, shrimps, beef

Does this restaurant serve halal meat?

At the moment only halal lamb chops, we will have more halal options soon.
