Absolutely amazing Persian restaurant! The decor is stunning, the atmosphere is beautiful, the service is exceptional, and the food is simply outstanding. Everything about our experience was top-notch. Easily one of the best Persian restaurants we've ever visited. We loved it so much that we're seriously considering flying back to Atlanta just to dine here again and then flying home. Yes, it's THAT good! Highly recommend!
I've never had Persian food and it was absolutely delicious, everything we tried. Our server was super nice and gave us great recommendations, cocktails were on point. Ambiance was beautiful and such a vibe. I loved this restaurant!! I rarely give 5 stars but I wouldn't change anything about my experience.
Very solid. It is big and you can sit at the bar if solo. Very lively scene. Hip place you will enjoy the ambience. Food is great I sampled only a bit. Hummus is good. Heirloom tomatoes salad also great it is definitely more than enough for one person could feed two maybe three. Service very attentive and thoughtful. Cocktail list is funny has things like Saudi Money and Long Live the Shah. I'd love to come back and eat more of the menu.
My sister took me to Delbar to get a birthday bite, and from the moment we walked in, the restaurant was very nice. I really enjoyed the ambiance. They seem to have a very buzzing bar scene, both indoors and outdoors, and I just like where it's located. It's literally walking distance from my apartment, but because of the humidity, we did drive across the street. Nonetheless, there are so many Middle Eastern, Turkish, Persian, and Lebanese restaurants all over the city, but I will say Delbar stood out with the service. I really enjoy food from this region of the world. However, I do think once you've had this type of food a few times, you kind of have a good idea of how it will be. I really enjoyed their à la carte menu. It gave me more ability to customize my own meal, and I thought their service was exceptional. I also really liked the little details, like the napkins they provided. They poured a little water on them at the table, and they expanded. It was a small detail, but a nice touch. Overall, I had a really good experience here. Out of some of the popular restaurants you hear about, like Yalda, Zakia, and some of the others, Delbar definitely stands out as the best to me so far. The only one I still have to properly try is Rumi's. I did have a small appetizer there once, and it didn't really stand out to me that much. So yeah, I highly suggest giving Delbar a shot.
I love Delbar, they never disappoint! This was my first time visiting the Buckhead location. While I still prefer the Inman Park location, this one is excellent as well. I especially loved the outdoor patio, and the service was friendly and attentive. The food is just as consistently delicious as it is at the Inman Park location. Some of my favorites are the salmon plate, adas polo, heirloom tomato salad, and the Omani shrimp. Whatever you order, don't skip the green sauce, it pairs perfectly with just about everything on the menu. Delbar is a great spot for a birthday celebration, a girls' night out, or a date night. I'll definitely be back!
Everything we tried at this restaurant was delicious (except the rice that's cooked in butter, way too much butter and I did not like the buttery oily taste). The hummus was excellent so the lavash, chicken kebab and eggplant dip. We did not like the roasted cauliflower as most parts of the sides were completely burned black and the tahini aioli sauce on top was way too much, overpowering the whole cauliflower and very spicy. The ambiance was very beautiful and cozy, the customer service was also great. We would definitely come again.
Delbar Buckhead absolutely lived up to the hype. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, but the real standouts were the trio of dips. The tzatziki was incredibly fresh and creamy, the hummus was silky smooth with rich flavor, and the smoky eggplant dip topped with onions was unforgettable, I could have happily made an entire meal out of those alone. We ended the evening with the pistachio cake and soft serve ice cream, and wow... the perfect ending. The cake was moist with just the right amount of sweetness, and the creamy soft serve complemented it beautifully. What made the experience even more memorable was the hospitality. Jason, the General Manager, stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect and surprised us with complimentary dessert. That level of genuine hospitality is becoming rare these days, and it made us feel truly appreciated as guests. Delicious food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere! Delbar has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite restaurants in Buckhead. I can't wait to return.
Great for the vibes but overpriced and slow service. The food was good, but I'm not sure if I would continue paying for the price point when there is plenty of Mediterranean around the city. The ambience is good for a date night or if I had a family coming in town and wanted to impress them overall service was a bit slow and it took us a long time to get seated and get our dishes.

Arrived late on a Friday night with no reservation at the Buckhead location. There is a parking deck nearby that they validate (information on their website). We did not have to wait 10 minutes for a table to open up in their covered outdoor area. The ambiance is very turnkey with low lighting, upscale but not formal. Also lamps at the table to read the menu. The service was excellent. Kind and boxed your leftovers for you. Made sure waters were full. Very informed about the menu and was able to provide recommendations. Favorite part of the meal. The food was prepared to perfection. They start you with some naan bread and some toppings for it (complimentary). For an appetizer we ordered the kashk bademjoon. It was tasty, but I found it hard to taste the individual flavors. For our mains we ordered the honey harissa chicken (my favorite part of the meal) and the chinjeh which is a beef dish. Both cooked to perfection. This is definitely a place for people who like spices! Additionally we got the sabzi polo (rice) which was very rich in flavor. The meet dishes came with some pickled veggies which was my highlight of the meal. This is a very unique place with high quality dishes. However, I think it is up to personal preference whether people like this style of food, but there is something for everyone here. Recommend to try at least once while in the city.
Delbar is a staple in the Atlanta food scene. I came for dinner on a Friday evening without reservations, and was seated within 5 minutes. First of all, the restaurant is breathtakingly beautiful. We sat on their covered patio and I loved the natural, colorful decor. They provide a complimentary sabzi plate (feta, walnuts, radishes, and herbs) and taftoun (flatbread). My friend and I shared the smoked bass and labneh (yogurt) to start. The bass was incredible! Super flavorful and flaky. The plain labneh was on the blander side, so I'd prob order the dill labneh if you are choosing between the two. Our mains included the tender hanger steak and perfectly cooked polo sefid (crispy basmati rice). Service was quick and friendly too. I'd highly recommend this spot.
This location has the most beautiful ambiance and atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly. I will say our service was a little slow but I've been before and it wasn't so it might have just been an off day. Every time I come, I get an order of the wings. The wings are a MUST. Delbar also has the most refreshing zero proof drinks and cocktails. The heirloom tomato salad was flavorful and so fresh, it paired perfectly with the wings. I'll be back to explore more menu items and sit at the patio when the weather is a cooler.
Wow, everyone raves about Delbar and I understand why. The food is soooo delicious, flavorful, and full of various spices. Everything is fresh and well presented, and the portion sizes are quite large. I really really liked taking some taftoun bread, spreading some dill labneh on it, and adding pieces of chicken kofta on top *chefs kiss* The interior is well designed and has a fun, bustling inside space where some tables can see the kitchen staff, and they also have a large sun room area with small fountains. Beautiful inside! The staff was attentive, and a manager walked by to introduce herself and ask if everything was alright. The only hiccup we had was the hostess forgot to provide us with menus, so we sat there for a minute before flagging someone else down to ask for menus. Would absolutely love to come back and try more dishes! Parking in the garage is easy - just make sure not to park in any valet or residence spots read more
I heard so much about this place and it definitely did not disappoint! The minute you walk in you are greeted by the hoody and the bar area with an open seating space that feels so warm and inviting. They do have an outside bar as well which is nice when you have to wait for your table or grab a drink before dinner. We had a spread of different dishes to try, from the Taftoun, Sabzi and Falafel Plate and Labneh to their amazing Omani Shrimp , Chicken Kofta, Hanger Steak, and Koobideh Kabob! Everything was so amazing and served plenty enough to share around the table. We also had the Adas Polo and Polo Sefid which is two different type of rices! This is a great spot to have dinner with friends or for a date night but I will have y'all come back to try the other options they have on the menu! read more

First time trying Persian food and honestly, I wasn't ready. Parking: Garage + validation or $20 valet. Choose your own adventure. Vibes: Whether you're here for a business meeting, casual lunch with girlfriends or by yourself..you're in the right spot. Service: They checked on us so much I started to feel famous. Detailed, helpful, on point...zero complaints. Sea Bass: I'm convinced this fish lived a stress‑free life because it was that tender. Melted in my mouth. Flavor for days. I just sat there blinking. Chicken Barg: Ridiculously flavorful. Juicy. Tender. I had a small emotional moment. Barg: LINDAAAAA LISTEN ... I have trauma from chewy mystery meats. This was the opposite. Every bite was tender, juicy, and seasoned like someone's grandmother was watching. Rice: Adas Polo wasn't my thing, but the Sabzi Polo......*chefs kiss* I'd fight someone for the last bite. Bottom line: First Persian meal and I'm 100% impressed. Everything slapped. 5/5 we'd come again! read more

Came to Delbar for a business lunch this afternoon. The restaurant is located in buckhead but they do have other locations. This particular location was absolutely beautiful on the inside and the restrooms were clean- a plus. The service was fast and my salad was very flavorful. I'll definitely be back to try more options. read more
I had a great dining experience at this upscale Middle Eastern restaurant in Atlanta! Getting a reservation here can get competitive, so my friend made sure to make a reservation almost 2 weeks in advance for a group of 3. For food, we shared the following dishes: - Pita Bread with Feta Cheese and Veggie Complimentary Appetizer: A balanced and good quality appetizer! The pita bread was warm, fluffy and nutty. My group especially liked the feta cheese so much that we had to order another round of it. - Hummus with shroom, shishito, and egg: This hummus was creamy and good. I also liked the toppings we added which added more flavor, richness, and overall depth. This also came with warm pita for dipping. - Hormuz Island Cocktail: Sweet and refreshing. It paired well with the food and I like the fruitiness of the lychee flavor. - Omani Shrimp: Absolutely delicious. Jumbo, juicy and flavorful shrimp that was even more flavorful with the side dip. - Sabzi Polo: A renowned dish that I was a bit disappointed with. The rice was not very flavorful on its own and I did not enjoy the crispy top which was on the harder rather than crispy side. It was a good grain to go along with the meats though and the portion was big. - Lamb Kabob: This was good, but tasted and felt more like steak rather than lamb even though we asked for it rare. I wish this was more tender. Not the biggest fan of the tough pita it was served on. - Seabass: Insanely good, 100/10. The fish was buttery, flaky, flavorful and just melts in your mouth.Will be thinking about this fish for a while. Same sentiments like the lamb towards the pita it was served on though. - Spring Pea Salad: Good, but not mind-blowing in my opinion. It was a unique salad dish that my table generally enjoyed. It was a fresh element that went well with the rich dishes. The service here was great and our server gave us good recommendations upon request. I also appreciate the effort she put into making sure my walnut allergy was taken care of. The ambiance of this place is gorgeous. A great spot for dates, group celebrations, and intimate gatherings. It is a bit dark inside though, but I generally enjoyed the mood lighting. Overall, a great restaurant that I would come back to again! Would recommend this chain to anyone visiting Atlanta. read more
Do you like to travel but just can't get that vacation time? Well look no further than Del Bar, this breathtaking restaurant transports you to Iran with its traditional Persian dishes with influences from countries like Turkey, Lebanon, and Iraq. The interior is a luxurious sanctuary defined by its rich textiles, handwoven rugs, flora, and opulent colors. On my many visits I've gotten a plethora of dishes that have been all divine. They start you off with a complimentary sabzi plate that comes with feta, salt-water soaked walnuts, radishes, tarragon, watercress, & mint that serve as an opener and a palate cleanser in between dishes. I would recommend you order the hummus & top it off with savory lamb. As for the main course I was partial to hanger steak and the shishlik [Lamb Chops]. It's all à la cart style, so you must get the adas polo rice! Delicious is an understatement! Their drink menus doesn't fall short and since I'm partial to cucumber I recommend the Sharbat e Sekanjaben , you will not be disappointed! Of course I had to get dessert! I can't decide which one is better the baklava or the pistachio lava cake! Get both, life is too short. The staff gave excellent service that often was felt rather than seen and they anticipate our needs without being intrusive, ensuring a seamless dining experience. They have valet parking at a $10 cost. This place is perfect for any accession. Don't cheat yourself but treat yourself and make a reservation asap! read more

Delicious! Very filling and perfect for a larger group! To start they brought out flatbread, some radishes, cheese, and herbs... honestly not sure what you're supposed to do with them. Do you eat them together and make a wrap type-of-thing? Or do you wait for your other food and pair these with the other dips? I'm not sure. We waited for our other appetizers to arrive and paired this initial appetizer with the following dishes. To start we tried the falafel plate, salmon kibbeh, and the eggplant dip. I love all of the onions in the eggplant dip. I also really liked the pickled beets which came on the falafel plate- a wonderful added acidity to all the rich, fried, and rather heavy dishes. I don't usually order falafel, so I am likely not the best judge, but I thought these were good. I liked the salmon kibbeh more though. For mains we ordered the sabzi pollo, short rib, honey harissa chicken, cauliflower, and sea bass. I wasn't expected to like the cauliflower, but this may have been my favorite dish! I loved the slight char, and the tahini dressing was delicious. I wish there were more pickled onions but this was very good. Pleasantly surprised! I am also not a huge fan of rice in general, but I enjoyed the sabzi pollo- I like how the top layer is nice and crisp and like the presentation of it. As for the meats, I think my favorite was the short rib- so soft and melt-in-your-mouth. Delicious though definitely on the salty side. They serve it with a rice crisp though I preferred the pairing it with the sabzi pollo and the eggplant dip or even the cauliflower. Sea bass was good- though I don't think I have had 'bad' sea bass. Honey harissa chicken was better. I would definitely reorder the chicken and short rib. Finally, after a 30 minute wait, we received our dessert- the cardamom gelato. I don't love cardamom buns but I was pleasantly surprised by this gelato. A very unique flavor and a nice way to end the meal. Light and a great palette cleanser. The food may be deserving of 5 stars, but I have to dock one, though I was considering two... because of the poor service. I could tell our waitress was trying and was friendly and smiley, but our water glasses were almost always empty and our dinner took 3 hours (I think she forgot to place our dessert order). Maybe she was having an off-day or the restaurant was understaffed... They recommend you order a handful of dishes and split family-style which we did. Everything was very tasty and quite filling. Quite large portions- especially the rice and cauliflower. Don't forget to snag a box of matches before you leave! Honestly part of the reason they kept the fourth star- such a cute box- I love the shape- very unique how long it is. I also love the pink matches inside! Such a whimsical touch. Overall, I would highly recommend Delbar's food! As a restaurant, I give my recommendation hesitantly and with a warning that you should be prepared to wait a lengthy amount of time for everything from dessert to the check, expect a longer dinner here. read more

Came for appetizers and mocktails! Popular place so a reservation is recommended. They validate parking in the deck. We were seated outside on a cold winter night and felt perfectly fine! the heaters outside are amazing in this weather and the temperature was perfect. We ordered: Lamb Dill Labneh Wings Fries And I had the Shabar Khiyar mocktail. The entire table was delicious especially the lab neh. The wings were crispy and the sauce they came with had a hint of spice which elevated the wings. We asked for the fries well done and they came out just like we wanted. Super crispy and the dip was 10/10. Great vibes for date night, girls night out, or celebration. Our waiter Kevin was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu which made ordering super easy. I love the Inman Park location so I said why not let's try the Buckhead one. Easy reservation to make online, I'd recommend making one. It gets really busy. Cute bar area right when you walk in but does make the in/out of it all a little crammed. Our waitress was super kind and made great recommendations. We did sit and chat a lot with our friends and I think that slowed things down for the staff, and I felt a little bit of their frustrations with this but I definitely understand. The adas polo is my favorite rice, and the filet was cooked beautifully. Everything was right on par. The vibe is a bit different than Inman park, but not in a bad way. Just a little more space. Always recommend this place to all my friends and now I know the Buckhead location checks out. read more

Delightful Place! Our first time dining here & we had an excellent experience. Great atmosphere with nice ambient lighting and music playing in the background. It was a great setting for our dinner date with friends. Our host was very attentive and helpful with our questions about the food and we never had an empty glass. The food was delicious and fairly priced. The portions were great and our appetizers were great for sharing between the four of us. Attire, I'd say is business casual or you can dress it up too. But definitely not informal. We had a few dishes and all were perfectly seasoned and very tasty. I will definitely be dining here again. read more
If you're searching for upscale dining with Persian food and the Persian experience, Delbar is an absolute must! Located in the posh area of Buckhead Atlanta, you will not be disappointed. On a Monday evening, the restaurant was full, and booming, and yet the customer service and food did not miss a beat. Everything was delicious..From the hummus, to the Persian salad, to the meats-all were tender and flavorful. The ambiance is trendy and vibey, and is a great place for a large dinner party, or intimate dining. Parking is plenty with some street parking, if you don't mind walking a bit, and garage parking, which they validate! so that's a nice perk. Delbar is one of those restaurants that consistently delivers. With three spots across Atlanta--Inman Park, Alpharetta, and the newest in Buckhead--it's easily one of my favorites. My friends and I visited the Buckhead location last night and, as usual, it did not disappoint. Our server, Scarlet, was wonderful and guided us through the menu with recommendations based on our questions. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food was excellent across the board. Every dish we ordered was a hit--flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. We enjoyed the Omani Shrimp appetizer, Salmon Kabobs, Chinjeh (beef sirloin), Endive Citrus Salad, and Polo Sefid (rice). This has been one of those restaurants on our list since we moved to ATL and while we didn't come for dinner, my husband and I managed to visit on a Friday for lunch. Although we me reservations we arrived early and were accommodated. Since this was our first time, our server walked us through the menu and we decided on the chicken wing appetizer, I ordered the salmon kabob and we shared the sabzi polo rice dish. Everything we ate was really flavorful. I definitely think the chicken wings and rice dish was my favorite over the salmon. Plus the portion of the sabzi dish can easily feed at least 4 people. The crunchy bits are *chef's kiss* The size of the restaurant is a lot bigger than you think from the outside, but I would definitely recommend a spot outside if the weather is nice. For those who wonder about parking situations like I do, the restaurant validates your parking from the nearby parking garage. We would definitely come back, I'm curious about their brunch and dinner menu, and could see this being a place we bring friends/family who are visiting. read more

The ambiance is modern and cool, with buzzing conversations over the subtle undertone of electronic music. A gem in the perfect location. There is an authentic, warm environment at Del Bar, even though the vibe can feel upscale. Good middle eastern food in Atlanta is not hard to find, yet Del Bar takes a couple steps up in service, quality, and execution. The salmon is a true umami bomb. I would suggest reviewing the menu beforehand so you can enjoy your friends/family while dining. Im pretty well experienced in cuisine and had to google translate half the menu to decide our meal. Our waitress went above and beyond to give us a personalized first time experience and catered to our every need. We got the: Falafel plate - 8/10 I LOVED the salad and the pickled beets on the side. The falafel wasn't my favorite as it was a bit under seasoned but still was not bad The eggplant dish - 1000/10 MUST GET! The sweetness of the eggplant and fried onion on top was the perfect accompaniment to the flatbread. Garlic Toum - 8/10 solid garlic sauce nothing Zhoug - 7/10 Zesty and herby just didn't pair well with what we got Spicy tahini - 1000/10 PERFECT with the cauliflower! We came in yesterday (Sunday) mid afternoon early evening. We used the parking deck to self park. They validate for 2 hours. Lovely restaurant. Inside and Out. We didn't have reservations so we sat at the bar until they called us which was no more than 5 minutes. We started with the Spritz drink (good kick!) and the Bandari Olivieh (smoked salmon dip)- delicious!! So flavorful. We had the lamb kabob and the salmon kabob and shared the Adas Polo. The main entrees and rice could've used a bit more seasoning but still tasty. Ended the meal with the Espresso Martini (good) All of the employees were friendly and attentive. I loved our server Toni! I frequent the Inman park location often, but for me, the service + vibe is top tier in the Buckhead location after two visits so far. There is parking right behind the restaurant (turn at the light right by RW and take that right to parking deck. They validate up to 2 hours :) The menus have slight variations but most of the classics. Everything was 100/10! The meats are tender & have that amazing char flavor. Their cocktails are balanced with a fun mix of experiment but relatable/traditional cocktails. Everyone from the mangers, security, and servers are all so kind and whenever I want to show a friend a great time or simply have a solo dine, I feel comfortable and welcome. read more
I love Delbar in Inman Park, so I was excited to check out their new Buckhead location. Parking was easy, with two garages nearby that offer validated parking for up to two hours. Inside, the space felt warm. It was decorated with wooden tables, soft neutral tones, hanging lights, and plenty of greenery that made the whole place feel lively. Our waitress was also incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive without ever hovering. We started with a spread of appetizers: Falafel Plate ($16), Dill Labneh ($13), and Kashk Bademjoon ($15). I also ordered an Iced Coconut Chai Tea ($10), and for my main entree, the Chicken Kofta ($20). The Iced Coconut Chai Tea was delicious. It was lightly sweet and refreshing. I do wish the coconut flavor came through a bit more, but overall it was still a satisfying drink. If you're an eggplant fan, the Kashk Bademjoon is a must. The mashed eggplant was smooth and rich, blended with cream of whey and mint, then topped with crispy fried onions that added just the right texture and aroma. The Dill Labneh was equally impressive with a mix of yogurt, dill, garlic, and citrus. The bits of walnut folded into the dip added a nice crunch. The Falafel Plate was also one of my favorites. It came with five falafels, a side salad, and pickled beets. These falafels were honestly the best I've had in Atlanta. The outside was crisp, and the inside was packed with fresh herbs and a little kick of heat. They were flavorful all the way through, not dry or bland. The pickled beets added a nice tang that cut through the falafel's richness. I couldn't believe I never tried the Chicken Kofta at Delbar before. The minced chicken breast was tender, juicy, and deeply seasoned. It practically melted in my mouth, and I barely had to chew. The plate also came with roasted tomato, pepper, and sumac onions, which added smoky, tangy layers to the dish. Overall, I really enjoyed Delbar, and I'm thrilled there's finally a location closer to me. The prices are about the same as Inman Park. Even though it's a bit of a splurge, the quality makes it a worthwhile occasional treat for me. read more
