Came to this restaurant for the first time after my workout. The bowls here are great! They have healthy vegetables like spinach, and fresh chicken right in front of you. The lady serving me was nice too. Overall 9/10 experience! Edit: After finishing my meal, I have to say it immaculate! Better than I expected. Their lime sauce goes well with the chicken. I love CAVA, but today was my first time at the east cobb location. I placed my order online and when I went to pick it up, it was not on the pick up shelf despite my order being placed 50 minutes prior. So I got in line because that was the only way I was going to be able to talk to the service staff. Finally when I was acknowledged, the lady went to the back to make my order. When she came out with my order, she didn't apologize at all for my order now being over an hour late. What's the point of ordering ahead of time if no one actually makes it ahead of time, and then the staff are rude about it. read more

I love the food here! Make sure to get a side of pita chips. The texture is absolutely amazing. The blueberry soda is also quite a treat. I'm a vegetarian so I enjoy the falafel entrees. I love Cava but they cannot get these orders right! Ordered a 10 person order online. Says ready at 11am. Get there and they haven't even started. Out of Steak! 4 of us ordered the new steak that we keep seeing advertising of!! Then I'm annoying cause I have to figure out what else the people I ordered with want instead. There systems are different from online ordering than through the store. Left at 11:28, so much for ordering ahead. I would've just ordered each person order there next time. read more

Been here multiple times over the last year or so and it's always hit or miss with my online orders. My bowl today only had two squished lamb meatballs and was missing hummus options as well as a bunch of other toppings. I've also had my online order take up to 40 minutes over the pickup time in 2-3 instances. I want to like this location since it's so close to my apartment and have given multiple chances but after today I'll drive further for better service. read more

Place is weird. The food is OK, just something you don't run back to. I did enjoy it, just the experience is a little off. They are really skimpy on the portions and it's annoying for $11+ an entree. I want to eat here. I have tried several times. I love the location in Austin. But time and time again they mess up my order. Ordered through app for delivery today, half the order came. I called the restaurant and they said that I needed to call Door Dash. The reason I ordered delivery is because I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS CRAP. Last time in the restaurant, they asked me if I could choose another rice because the one I wanted was dry, and the guy in the kitchen proceeded to bring a new one out as soon as I moved to the main selection. The same thing happened with my hubby with the lentils. Delivery orders have been delivered with half servings and with all the wrong toppings. I am tired of complaining. I really want this place to remain open, I love the food, but if they can't get their act together they won't last long. read more

This location is very understaffed and unable to complete orders on time. Online orders were taking an hour longer to complete than what was said which is very frustrating for people trying to grab lunch quickly. The food is good and tasty BUT the service is appalling. Yesterday I waited in line for 20 minutes before a worker even said hello. Once the order was begun, the first server left in the middle of the first step to go do something else. Eventually she came back, completed the first step. In the second section the next server did the same, stopping to chat to other people, refilling the food containers (during lunch an extra worker is needed). All I still needed was the dressing and when I asked him to just add the dressing before he does yet another unrelated thing, he said "I refuse to complete your order." And disappeared into the back and refused to come out again, even after his coworkers talked to him. I wasn't rude and didn't raise my voice - just asked for dressing so that I could leave. I am aware there is an implied criticism there. The store is under staffed and seriously lacking in professionalism. Imagine having your server throw a hissy fit like that. This location will not last if this is the quality of people Cava employs. read more

Once I went at a time when the line had about 20 people ahead of me, Robert and the rest of the staff kept things moving steadily with a great attitude! I've recommended it to a few of my friends. Went to this location for the first time today. Ordered the lentil -avocado "chef curated" bowl. Got to the end of line and gentleman asks, "did they tell you we were out of avocado"? I hadn't but understood. Asked for a few more grilled vegetables as a substitute. He said they were in a different category and I could not.
