The staff made me feel completely at home, and the owner personally came over to welcome us. He explained that he'd be serving the full menu from appetizers to entrées -- and he delivered with genuine warmth and confidence. Food: The food was exceptional -- truly some of the best halal cuisine I've had in Atlanta. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, authentic flavor. As someone who's tried countless Mediterranean, Pakistani, South Asian, and Asian halal restaurants, Mashawi still managed to stand out in a big way. Service: The service was top‑tier. Warm, attentive, and personal. The owner and staff made sure we were taken care of from start to finish, and their hospitality made the whole experience feel like visiting a second home. Ambiance: The atmosphere was inviting, comfortable, and thoughtfully curated. From the presentation of the dishes to the overall vibe of the space, everything contributed to a memorable dining experience. This was my first visit to Mashawi Mediterranean Restaurant, but definitely not my last. They've earned a loyal customer. Kudos to the entire team. ---

The restaurant is always spotless, and the ambiance is warm, inviting, and beautiful. The food is consistently amazing. My favorites are the baba ganoush, hummus, fresh pita, pickles, olives, pickled beets, cabbage, and lentil soup. I actually never liked baba ganoush until I tried it here, and now it's one of my favorite things on the menu. Their lentil soup is also one of the best I've had in the Atlanta area. I love the tabbouleh as well, and there are plenty of delicious vegan options to choose from. The all-you-can-eat concept is a huge bonus because there are so many fresh and flavorful dishes to enjoy. As a vegan, I always have plenty of options and leave feeling satisfied. Everything tastes fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I eat here often sometimes multiple times a week and the quality never disappoints. If you're looking for delicious Mediterranean food, a beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and incredible value, Mashawi is a must-visit. 10/10 recommend.

I came in before they closed but they still took wonderful care of me. They claim the chicken is hand slaughtered but I am not sure 100% as I haven't verified their vendor yet. I ordered a simple Bombay martini and one of the specialty cocktails for my wife. The bartender made my martini in a shaker and I remember hearing him asking someone else to stir it for him. For the next ten minutes or more, the bartender proceeded to make drinks for the waiters, I remember him spilling out two drinks and remaking them while my martini continued diluting in the melting Ice. Ten minutes or more later, he pours my martini into more of a champagne coup glass than a martini glass, and I waited another five minutes or more for my wife to get her drink. When I tasted the upmartini, It tasted so diluted, just bad, almost commical to me. I just laughed to myself because i've tended bar for a living and that was about the worst martini i've ever had in my life. Either Rumi is watering down his booze or the ice melted so much that there was barely a gin taste in the glass. I think their gig is rather than give you a real martini level pour they dilute you with so much melted Ice that you think you're getting a full pour martini, when, in fact, what you're getting is half gin and half melted ice. And believe ME, you are charged as though it was a real martini. The place was pretty busy, so a lot of people must not have a clue... or just like busy places. If everybody says, this is such a great place, I guess it's gotta be. Unfortunately, that's just Atlanta-if it's popular everyone just assumes it's good or pretends it is. I don't do well with pretend. Next after being seated at the table, i tried to order wine least expensive wines (so overpriced)-they were out of all of the lower-end overpriced wines I tried to order. It just bugs me to overpay so much for bottles of table wine. They're barely twenty dollars charging, 60-80 for them. But of course, ten minutes after I ordered the wine, this happened twice, the waiter told me they were out of the ones i was trying to order ( everyone must have had the same idea). Oh well. Right before the table was served the main course, the waiter and manager came to tell me that they had run out of the dish I ordered. I ended up replacing it with their duck dish that I had never heard of before but what the hell I'll try it (maybe I deserve it, because I remember my father always told me you never ordered duck in a strange restaurant you don't know) Everyone else at the table of 8 were served their meals ten minutes before my plate arrived. i'm like, please go ahead and start without me. Then, the duck arrives. I mean, if you're such a Rumi's, fan, try the duck and tell me what you think. First of all, it was lukewarm for something that apparently had just been made. The lukewarm duck comes 'in" this purple sauce, I mean, it wasn't even swimming in the purple sauce-It was submerged in the purple sauce. The waiter, of course, later brought me the wrong type of rice than the one i oredered..That's okay they brought me a new one right away. I was really starving at the time, but if I hadn't been, I don't think I would have eaten any of the duck. Being submerged in a kind of a sickening, putple sweet sauce it just wasn't appetizing at all. Challenge: if you're a big Rumi's fan, go ahead and please try the duck, but you have to try it like I did- lukewarm temptation. Then tell me if you remain an unconditionalRumi's fan. The bread is delicious though. To their credit when I tried to order 2 glasses of red wine after my meal was served, they did give us the vin de table for free. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

Let's start of with how beautifully embellished the restaurant is. It's a refined fusion of modern elegance & old-world Persian heritage, that celebrates Persian hospitality & culture. You're greeted by the hostess that radiates warmth and geniality. Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts. It also comes with side of freshly baked Persian flatbread. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Our favorite plates were the hummus [we paired with the mushroom add on], lamb chops, and the Adas Polo rice. Trust me get the Adas Polo rice, it absolutely mouthwatering. As for beverages there is a variety of curated cocktails that we tasted but my top pick had to be the Tehran Mule! As for desserts our favorite was the Persian ice cream sandwich, it has unique flavors with rose being one of them. So good! For parking they offer a combination of valet services and validated garage parking depending on which location you go. The dress code is business casual. It's a perfect place for any accession, I definitely am planning on coming back to try more dishes. Take my word and come check it out! Your taste buds will thank you!

A Spectacular Dining Experience!…read more The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all truly spectacular. Every part of the evening exceeded our expectations. The Chilean sea bass was cooked to absolute perfection--tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The grilled shrimp paired with the coconut rice was another standout, rich and satisfying without being heavy. From start to finish, it was an excellent dining experience. If you're anywhere in the Atlanta Metro area, I highly recommend making this a stop on your list. It's well worth.
