Great food! We got Brisket and Pork (no sides) to take home. It was delicious! Sauce has great flavor also, but meat stands on its own.

It was not open the day we planned to go. No reason as to why. Saturday midday. They should have posted a sign as to why they were not open.

Absolutely delighted that we accidentally found this small but cozy restaurant!…read more The food was delicious, fresh, full of Smokey flavor and the meat almost didn't need any BBQ sauce- it was just superb! I had the smoked pulled chicken sandwich with potato salad. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich- it was so good and definitely better than my chicken. Generous amounts of meat for both sandwiches. The potato salad was fresh, tasty and had crunchy celery. The chicken was good, but I'm definitely going for the pulled pork next time! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner- Paul, really nice and hospitable guy. Service was excellent. Ambiance was homey, cozy and restaurant was clean, smelled very good- like smoked meat. Prices were reasonable. We will definitely come back, even though my husband complained there are no French fries. Lol. Sorry, no pictures. Our appetite was worked up by the Smokey meat flavors lingering in the air and gobbled up our sandwiches before I realized we didn't take any pictures.

It was perfectly smoked, was tender and juicy and the seasoning was spot on. This was probably the best smoked chicken I have had in a very long time. Good barbeque - Cute staff…read more I usually order their Beef Brisket or BBQ Pork. I like their Fried Okra, Mac & Cheese, French Fries, Onion Rings and Mashed potatoes. Corn Bread! I have never had it like this before - like a pancake. They call them "golden-fried cornbread patties." Yum! The place is casual and comfortable. The staff is friendly and always treats me well. They are located in The Shoppes Of Acworth shopping center. There is plenty of parking. It is easy to get into and out of the shopping center. When leaving, if you want to go south on Hwy 41, exit the shopping center to Mars Hill Rd - go left, then turn left onto Hwy 41.

I waited so long that the nice young lady offered me a banana pudding. Unfortunately, when I got home I realized they forgot my loaf of bbq bread & bbq sauce. Very, very frustrating. This is a common problem with this restaurant. They don't seem to check the items with the ticket to ensure the customer gets everything they ordered & paid for. I called them at 8:10pm to let them know. No answer. Left a message with phone number. No call back tonight. Wonderful.

Exterior Located in a business park - at the corner of Old…read more41 Hwy and Blue Springs Rd. My navigation took me on a super convoluted route, so if you know where North Cobb Highschool is, they're located across the street from N Cobb Highschool's gym. When exiting to leave, there's no left turns so be forewarned, you might have to do some finagling to leave via Blue Springs. I may have missed it because I was so focused on nav, but I think the business park should get better signage (both at the street and once you turn in). If not for the Too Good To Go app, I would never have realized this business existed. They also opted to use one of those handwriting fonts for their logo so even the storefront signage can be a little hard to read from a distance - even with my 20/20 vision. Lol. Interior Clean, bright, well lit. Customer Service Five plus stars. The owner, Clay, reminded me of home (my small town hometown). Super friendly. Super welcoming. Super jovial. While I waited, I had the opportunity to chat with his lovely daughter, Breanna (sp?) and she was an absolute sweetheart. Price / Value They appear to have lots of affordably priced meals. The QRC on the postcard launches their website, versus a pdf of a traditional menu, so you kinda have to scroll through as though you're trying to place an order. I was lured in by some tasty looking pork chops and salmon in their Google photos. And the macaroni & cheese looked like the the kind I love. (This type of mac n cheese used to be called 'Southern custard style' but now it seems to be called Béchamel style or Greek Béchamel since a true Béchamel supposedly has no eggs. Whatever its called, I prefer it over the runny Velveeta style mac n cheese that has gotten so popular.) Food I mentioned the Too Good To Go App earlier. That's what brought me here. Unfortunately, I have a shellfish allergy and my 'Surprise Bag' was a shrimp dinner. I won't go into details here because I don't want others to give Mr. Clay a hard time if they find themselves in the same situation - but suffice it to say, Mr. Clay did his absolute best to not let me leave hungry. I did, ultimately, try some of the yellow rice and steamed veggies. I can safely say that the yellow rice is actual turmeric rice. Overall Even though I didn't get a chance to eat an actual meal, I wanted to make sure I posted a review with the hopes of providing breadcrumbs for others to find this hidden gem. If I had to list a negative, I'd just say that I think they'd benefit from an actual 'formal' menu. I'm 'old enough' that I find it somewhat frustrating to have to visit a 'web store' and click through as though I'm trying to place an order - versus looking at a menu with items grouped (ie meals, sandwiches, salads, sides, etc) and good descriptions. Several items show 'out of stock' or 'low stock.' I do like that they seem to have gone out of their way to post photos of food and provided descriptions in the 'featured menu items' section. I'll definitely be back to try the salmon, whiting, collard greens and macaroni & cheese.

Waters were left empty several times for extended periods of time. Additionally, staff will not provide you with the items you ordered - there were several times that we placed an order via the iPad provided, nothing would come out, and then we'd have to flag down our server to check. All that aside, food is great. The 2 real highlights are the beef belly and spicy beef bulgogi. Beef belly is so delicious and fatty - let it crisp up on the grill and just eat it without anything. It has a ton of flavor already. Make sure to order multiple beef belly at a time as the quantities are pretty small, and they could even smaller once cooked. The spicy beef bulgogi is also really delicious with a great marinade. The regular beef bulgogi is fine, nothing to complain about. The beef brisket is below average. Garlic shrimp is good if you're looking for that. Appetizer-wise I really like the chicken nuggets and fries here. The nuggets are quite reminiscent of a better version of McDonald's. The fries are fried a couple times and have great texture, crunch, and flavor. Make sure to make your own sauces at the sauce bar. I always recommend one sauce of sesame oil and salt. Make sure to just put a LITTLE sesame oil as you need to be able to get the salt on the meat as you eat it. Other than that sauce, go wild with your imagination! Value is outstanding here. For lunch, just Korean bbq or hotpot is $20.99. Dinner is $30.99. And if you want to do both bbq and hotpot, just add $5 to either total. If your birthday is within 3 days of your visit and you come in as a group of 4+, your meal is free. They are strict on the date being +\- 3 days. Overall, still my favorite KBBQ chain and continues to be quite solid!
