I ordered based on other reviews in Yelp and boy was I wrong. I don't know how this is considered to have the best wings. These are the worst wings I have ever had in my life. Was a little skeptical when we first pulled in, but wow -- I'm so glad we didn't turn away! The food and service were both fantastic. The people at the counter were super nice, welcoming, and polite -- which I always appreciate. We tried the garlic Parmesan wings and the honey hot wings, and both flavors were phenomenal. Prices are very reasonable too -- our family of four ate for just $37! My kids (ages 6 and 3) shared a small vegetable fried rice, and it was plenty for them. Heads up: even if you're dining in, you order at the counter and the food comes in to-go containers. But everything comes out fast, fresh, and hot. The fries were perfectly cooked and delicious. Really wanted to like this place after checking out the reviews and pictures. Ordered to go on a weekday lunch; didn't take too long and maybe was in there about 15-20. Got the shrimp and steak hibachi and when I got home dove right into it. Shrimp was good, rice was legit as was the yum yum sauce (put some sriracha in to really up your game) but the steak....yeesh man the steak killed the whole vibe. They straight up overcooked it into next week, it was tougher than shoe leather I think my jaw is still sore from it. Smh, probably won't be back after this experience. So much potential. read more

The place for wings. Wings are an 11 out of 10. Took my whole family back for wings in two days but they chose to get hibachis and seafood platter. Again- the wings are amazing. Take out Hibachis is not the jam. It was good but not great but the wings are GREAT!!! The seafood platter I paid 43 bucks for had one cluster of crabs and a ton of shrimp and sausages. The seasoning was good but again, the WINGS were amazing. I'll pass on that as well in the future. Its setup is a takeout counter so the service is limited. Staff at the counter were friendly and pleasant. The tables are bolted to the floor so there will be no connecting tables together lol, but my large family of 7 managed to be close enough. OK so this isn't THAT close to my house but it is my current favorite wing spot. I drive about 20 mins to get here and pass numerous other wing spots to get here. Moon's is kinda like Chick-fil-A though. They are consistent. You know what you're gonna get and there isn't much variation (which is a good thing if you ask me). The owners are nice and service is quick. The wings are great and unfortunately I can't vouch for anything else. I keep telling myself I'm gonna try the KFC, or a salad, or a sandwich but once I get there to order it's always a wing plate. I come here fairly often and never once have I had a negative experience. They are fast and the staff is incredibly kind and friendly. My favorite is the wing combo with fries. They are so good, definitely my favorite wings in the area. The pricing is very reasonable, the wings are not tiny, and they give a ton of fries or fried rice depending on what you pick. I almost always have leftovers. You can dine in or takeout, most people do takeout. There's always people inside. Love coming here with friends or family, I highly recommend. read more

Not sure if it was a bad day or new management/owner or new cook but food was not good. I got the honey/garlic wings that did not have any garlic whatsoever. The wings tasted bland and no flavor. Shrimp fried rice was also bland. The yum yum sauce helped the rice but still needed to add salt for me to eat it and not waste my money. Fries were the same, no seasoning salt , taste was just bad. How do you mess up fries. I should not have needed to come home and season my food myself, but I did. This is my go to spot but I may need to find a backup, welp. read more

Our food was awesome, hot, delicious, and quickly prepared. The owner was so accommodating. This is a local spot and the wings are not too large or too small. They are just right. Came to Moon's for their Korean Fried Chicken. When done right, KFC is an amazing tasting chicken with awesome flavors. On this trip, I was a little disappointed that they couldn't split their flavors 1/2 regular and 1/2 spicy as the adults like it spicy but the kids do not. Overall the flavors were decent. We also ordered the Chicken Hibachi, but there was nothing fancy about it. I think they need to work on their packaging. We ordered takeout, which seemed like the only way to order at this time as all the chairs are pushed to the side and on top of tables. However, the chicken overflowed the takeout box so we weren't able to close the lid. When we got home, the food was already cold as all the heat had escaped. read more

Everything is cooked to order, and it took a few minutes to get, but it was piping hot when it was ready. The chicken/ and rice were bland. The steak was over cooked. I saw the Yelp reviews and went mainly for their wings. The restaurant is a converted fast food place where one orders at a counter and then waits for the number to be called. I got a 10 piece wing entrée with hot sauce. It came with a self serve soft drink and a huge 'side' of Korean chicken fried rice - more rice, chicken and veggies than I could have finished if that was the only thing I ordered. My only complaints are that I would have liked more celery and for dining in, that they serve the food on a plate instead in a foam container, but given the price and quality, these are minor issues. Overall, the food was as good as any wing place in the area. The wings were average sized, and fried crispy. The sauce was hot and spicy, but not too hot. The rice came with a choice of sauce and was very tasty. The place was clean and there are plenty of tables for dine in, though most people I saw were there for take out. Local gem. Over the past few weeks, our family has tried a lot of items: Philly steak and cheese, lemon pepper wings, garlic parm wings, various fried rice, hibachi, and I feel like I'm forgetting something. That being said, everything we've gotten has been pretty delicious. What's most notable is how fresh the food tastes. We've gotten fried rice from other spots (reviews soon to come) and the food tasted old. Yet, we were able to take that the rice was just cooked, the shrimp were just grilled, you were able to identify the pork in the fried rice as pork, and to top everything off...we got really good service. During one visit, I arrived about 10-15 minutes before my scheduled pick-up time and they were still cooking my food. This was to be expected, and it was appreciated (because it meant my food was fresh overall). But the cashier apologized for my wait. The apology wasn't necessary but I appreciated it as it showed they cared. I'm glad the spot is fairly close to me and look forward to future visits. read more
