Upon doing so I figured I'd try some new eateries in my new neighborhood. I happen to be driving north on "Atlanta Rd" when I saw this place "Wing Pub". I enjoy hot wings quite a bit so I decided to stop in for a bite to eat. Upon entering the manager/owner (Short asian man) graciously greeted me at the door. The restaurant appeared to be clean and well maintained. I ordered 20 wings (Double) split into two different flavors (10-Extra Hot & 10-BBQ), water to drink with no extra sides. I had some time to spare so I decided to eat at the restaurant instead of taking my food to go. My wings arrived at my table relatively quickly. Upon eating I found the wings to actually be quite pleasant tasting. I finish without incident and I continued home. *Please note that this was my only meal for the entire day @ Approx 3pm in the afternoon. I spend the rest of the day at home and I go to sleep around 11:30pm that evening. Around 4am in the morning I find myself tossing and turning in bed because of belly rumblings and general stomach discomfort. Around 6am it felt like I was going to vomit so I rush to the restroom to do exactly that followed by extreme diarrhea. This continued all day. I missed work and another important prior engagement due to my sickness. *Not once did I ever even consider food poisoning as the culprit. I honestly thought it was a 24hr stomach virus which isn't uncommon for this time of year. My concerned girlfriend called me the same day of my sickness saying that I should eat something (sick or not) because I hadn't eaten anything all day. She insists on bringing food but I convince her not to. My girlfriend still comes to comfort me in my sickened state. Feeling a little better and with the coaxing of my concerned girlfriend I was convinced into trying to eat something. With no groceries at home yet from my recent move my only option was to get something to go from a local eatery. Since it was 9:30pm my options were limited. She suggested "Wing Pub" again since it was the only place open nearby. Sooo... We go to "Wing Pub" again... Ugh. I order the same thing I had last time not yet understanding the correlation of my sickness to the food. We get back home. I open the box and immediately close it due to the nauseous feeling of being sick and smelling food even though it looked appetizing. I decide to forego eating and placed my food in the fridge to eat once I felt better. I go to sleep around 11:30. I wake up the next day feeling much better! The next day I'm obviously starving having not eaten anything for almost 24hrs. Good thing I had those new and untouched "Wing Pub" hot wings still in the fridge right??? WRONG!!!!!!!!! At around 12:30 (Noon) I ate my latest batch of wings and proceeded with my day. Due to me missing work and other obligations the previous day my schedule was pretty full. I didn't eat anything that entire day so again, wings was the only thing I had to eat. I'm driving home around midnight after having wings for lunch earlier in the day and suddenly I'm getting the same tummy rumblings and stomach discomfort. I barely make it home before the same vomiting and diarrhea symptoms start again at full intensity. Now I'm laying in bed on my smart phone writing this detailed review hating life and "Wings Pub" hoping to stop anyone else from making the same mistake that I did. DO NOT GO TO "WING PUB"! When we walked in, it smelled like wet table cloth, Waitress was a little sassy, to be honest, food was OK. IF i could rate it I'd be a 4/10, I've been to better wing places. I don't know what the person under me is talking about. If you read his review you can see that 1.That is the only thing he ate all day. Obviously spicy foods do not settle well if that's the ONLY thing you eat all day. 2. The second time, he had it in the fridge over night so it probably wasn't as fresh. From my experience, this restaurant is the best. Maybe that occurred a year ago, but I checked since I was skeptical and the health review is currently at 100. I've eaten 75% of the menu items at Wings Pub quite a few times. Food is always great. Prices are great, especially the specials. Service is always friendly and usually quick (but they often get very busy and the service slows a little bit.) The restaurant is always very clean. The hot wings are my favorite - best flavor in town by far. Wings are a little small but they are also less expensive than most places, so order more than 10 if you're hungry. The Hispanic ladies that work the front counter has a bad attitude and can't speak English well or comprehend the English language well. I think they need at least one English speaking person that can take orders over the phone. Every time I call to place an order they never know what I'm saying and I make sure I speak slow. I have to repeat myself SEVERAL TIMES. Today, they waited on 2 people that walked in AFTER I did!
