Nasty.
Ashley C.

Nasty! My wings taste like they was fried in very old cooking oil. When I say they were nasty... I couldn't even eat them. I ordered 10 wings & ate about 3-4 and threw them away. Such a waste of money. Also very soggy.

If I could rate this place with HALF A STAR I would. I asked for Beef fried rice and this is what I got. When I asked to speak to the manager the cashier Ashley paused and hesitated. Then when I got the manager I asked for her name so that I knew who I was addressing and she refused to introduce herself. The staff is not only unprofessional but they're not concerned with your issue. As I explained what I got she interrupted, cut me off and said that not all Wings101 are the same and to not bring my expectations to them. The manager hadn't seen the product and took my issue very personal. She asked me to bring it back and she defended her product. They gave me two options pay for "extra" beef. Or get my refund. I took my refund. DON'T waste your time and money here. NO COMPASSION- Skimpy101 should be their name.

Idk if these look wet to you guys, but it doesn't to me. I wish i could show a pic of how the other location does it. Brown fries.

First things first, we are in a pandemic. This location was NOT practicing social distancing at all. The place was literally filled with people!! They weren't sitting but they were all standing around waiting on their food and ordering. What happened to letting ppl in a few at a time?? This one guy KEPT standing so close to me, everytime I moved up, he moved up. The lady he was with had to tell him to stop because she noticed i was moving everytime he got close. This place would be ok if they got your order down to a T. I've been 3 times (today is the 3rd & last time). I ALWAYS get a 10pc combo, half hot, and half wet lemon pepper (extra wet for ALL wings). The first time I came here my chicken was fried too hard, the second time it was under cooked. Today it was cooked just fine however NONE OF THE TIMES I went did they make my wings extra wet and none of the times was my food Hot temperature wise. Not once. And my fries are never fresh. It annoys me!! Why is my food always room temperature and what the hell is so hard about making them extra wet?? It's almost like they deliberately do it . I used to go to the one by my old job in Norcross and they did it right every single time! I would definitely drive to Norcross next time to get my monies worth and to satisfy my hunger.

Drum stick, very dry and old.

This place used to be awesome before covid, but now you order and your wings honestly come out In 2 minutes.. like that's not right. They just warm them up that has already been cooked it seems like. My 2nd time here after Covid. My friend had the same problem last time.

10 piece wings half lemon pepper / half hot

Wings 101 just didn't do it for me. It actually felt like I wasted money, since I didn't even finish the food. I paid $9.11 with taxes for a 10 piece wing combo that came with fries and a medium fountain drink. On a positive note, they will allow you choose 2 different flavor wings on a 10 piece combo, so I chose lemon pepper and medium, well the lemon pepper were great while the medium were horrible, the mediums were tossed in this thick red wing sauce. The fries didn't seem to be well cooked, I was actually a little disappoint as I stopped eating and tossed half of my food out. Service was good, the young lady was polite and when she didn't have any customers, she cleaned up a bit. The restaurant was somewhat clean when I came in, I noticed a funny odor as I waited on my wings and realized that a plumbing company was outside digging half of the parking lot up......maybe having an issue with sewage or something. I will say this, there are to many wings restaurant in this area for slackers, I truly hope this place survives, but they definitely need a new recipe for their hot wings. I won't be back. :-(

We both thought the food was great, no complaints. I would say probably the best burger I've had in a minute. The person on the box was very friendly and provided excellent customer service when taking our order. Then when pulling around they double checked that everything was correct and sent us on our way. I would definitely recommend. Enjoy.

I opted out of the arugula that comes on it by default. I also got their mac n' cheese, and a chocolate shake. It may be the way their brisket blend always is, but the burger patty was a bit tough or overcooked compared to what I'm used to with a standard Angus beef burger or steak burger. It also lacked seasoning, but was saved by the goat cheese and jam. The bun was ok, and it was very messy as 3 of my 4 fried green tomatoes slid out immediately along with a healthy portion of goat cheese and jam. I ate at their outdoor seating area so no biggy, but I definitely wouldn't eat this in your car. However, the fried green tomatoes were very good. The mac n cheese was mediocre and the chocolate shake was good but had an overpowering flavor of Hershey's syrup. Even though it was very busy between the cars at the drive thru and delivery drivers waiting for order pickups, my meal came out in about five minutes. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I've eaten burgers all over the world and I would recommend the visit, but it doesn't rank anywhere near my top 25. Since this was my first visit I plan on returning a couple more times soon so I can try other burger options and update my review if I experience anything different. Burger: 3.7/5 (the toppings carried it) Mac n cheese: 2.5/5 Shake: 3.5/5 Note: No indoor seating. Outside seating available.

I'd sent it to my better half and he said, "let's go." OK... it's a hole in the wall in a strip center. But you know that sometimes those places are absolutely wonderful. And this was one of those times. From the time we walked in, we were welcomed. The lady working the front went through the menu... explained the options and even told us about options that weren't listed. I decided on the Heat Combo... the hubby decided on the Regular Combo. You're going to find that everything is made to order. So nothing just sitting around. The sandwiches are what I'd call burritos in a bun. Wrapped in foil and then paper. We were warned to keep the foil on... And with good reason! These are not sit in the car and eat sandwiches. They're moist... they're juicy and DELICIOUS! Now, I got the one called the Heat. It was not overly spicy but had a good level of heat. I was told if you like it spicy, just ask for hot sauce. I'm kinda torn by that because the general flavor of the sandwich is really good and wouldn't want to cover that up. The Combo comes with thick potato wedges. They were good and neither of us were able to finish all of them. They have some side dipping sauces I want to try next time. We opted to dine in. The dining room is a bit small and standard. There are only about 4 or 5 tables. But, it's clean (spotless clean) and does the trick. I imagine if it's busy it can get quite full. Honestly... this style of food is pretty unique to the Metro. It's not quite a Philly Restaurant... it's not quite a traditional Chili Shop... It's more of what you'd see with a "loose meat" restaurant from the Midwest. But whatever you think it is, it works. And we'll be back!

Great service and great food. Highly recommend. I will be back to try additional dishes very soon.read more

After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.

I'm leaving this because what I saw doesn't line up with that review at all. The group that was eventually asked to leave came in clearly intoxicated and immediately made another table uncomfortable. When they were told the table wasn't interested in being social, the intoxicated group sat down at a table directly across from them and continued making loud, inappropriate comments. The other table appeared visibly distressed and were clearly trying to keep to themselves. Staff initially tried to calm things down and keep everyone there. When the behavior continued and escalated, they made the right call and asked the disruptive group to leave. You could feel the room relax once they were gone. Unfortunately, situations like this happen sometimes when alcohol is involved. From where I was sitting, the staff handled a tense situation professionally and fairly. I've been going to Eleanor's for over a decade and have always found the staff to be kind, attentive, and respectful. This review doesn't reflect what I personally witnessed that night.

I use the unkind app but it was not working so could not use it to pay. The hostess said it was an ongoing issue. Let's discuss the food. My coworker enjoyed her Haitian patties. She said the island slaw was really good. The side salad is the house salad. I asked for balsamic dressing when given the option. There was none on that salad. Sigh. The oxtail were good. They were very well seasoned and had a good flavor. The rice and beans were good but not enough. The rice could have been cooked a tad bit longer. It wasn't fine bur like 1 minute when have been perfect. I did not dine in but it looked nice inside. There was a decent amount of people there. It was clean and nicely decorated. I would eat here again but I didn't like the price difference in the oxtails or lack of salad dressing. I think dining there those issues could have been addressed but I was back at work.
