I finally got a chance to check this spot out --food was solid and the drinks were blended well. I would have preferred faster service; it was not stand still slow but the server was also the bartender. It's still worth a return visit ---

    Oxtails - Unbelievably delicious.

This review is for Zeke's second place in West Midtown! We walked into Zeke's knowing nothing. It was open on a Sunday when lots of other places in West Midtown were closed. I thought it was a sport's bar. My taste buds began to activate when I saw the Haitian dishes on the menu. We had hit the jackpot. This spot is Zeke's second location and seemed brand new. Sonya, our charming and welcoming server took us under her wing. She helped us navigate the interesting choices. I ordered the oxtails and my partner chose the Djon Djon bowl. OMG, the flavors made our toes wiggle. With just the right amount of heat, the oxtails might be the best I ever tasted. All I heard from my spouse was cooing as she devoured the Djon Djon. The portions were so huge, we enjoyed these dishes again ten hours later after drinking at a reception. I'm smacking my lips now. We're from Minneapolis, visiting Atlanta. Please open up a Zeke's in the Twin Cities. My only concern was Sonya was the only server, and the area she had to cover, including the outside patio, was too much by herself. In addition, Zeke's deserves a larger bar. However, I would eat this food sitting in the gutter. It was delicious.

A Hidden Gem of Great Taste! What a beautiful hidden gem! The food here was absolutely excellent. I placed a takeaway order over the phone, and the process was seamless -- friendly service, clear communication, and everything was ready upon my arrival. I really appreciated the thoughtful packaging, especially the separate container for the salad dressing. The jerk chicken was bursting with bold, authentic flavor, and the pickled peppers added the perfect touch of spice. Next time I'm in Atlanta, I'll definitely be ordering two jerk salads along with the oxtail. Delicious food, great service, and healthy options full of flavor -- this place truly stands

The manager Mike G is phenomenal. In spite of being 2 staff members short today, and being out of Rum Punch, Mike mixed up a quick batch on the spot! The flavor was perfectly balanced, strong but smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness and tropical taste. It was refreshing and clearly made with care.

This place has 4 1/2 stars and its well deserved. I happened to be in the area and found this place on Yelp and I'm glad that I did! It was really good! Service was friendly and good. Its not a large place which i prefer so I can get the full experience and a true feel for a place. We had the jerk Plantains nachos and the half roasted chicken with black rice. Nachos were bigger than I expected with lots of flavor. Chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It was very well seasoned. Black rice and slaw was delicious as well. We drank Sangrias which were also good. We'll definitely be back!

Zeke's is a hit every time I go. I just love how much flavor their food has and how good their drinks are.

Dropped by dinner on a Saturday night. Started with the plantain nachos. Really good idea. The "nacho" chips were fried smashed plantains about the size and shape of silver dollar pancakes. The plantain chips had good flavor there were just a little dry. The jerk chicken on the nachos had great flavor, the chicken was also on the dry side. The pico and lime crema were perfect and important adds to the dish for freshness and acid. My friend ordered the ceviche. It came with plantain chips as well. Same feedback for the plantains, the ceviche was excellent. The seafood tasted real fresh and acid paired so well. I had the shrimp tacos for dinner. They were outstanding. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and moist. The slaw and aioli had a great amount of heat, sweetness and acid at the same time that made the tacos super tasty. Francesca was our server and she was friendly, fast and super attentive to our table. Excellent experience and good food.

Zekes delivers in so many levels perfect amount of fusion in the Haitian style dishes. I have been many times and haven't had an item I didn't love. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The flavors are perfect. The price is in line with what you see at other Caribbean restaurants but delivered in a much more elegant upscale ambiance. I'd recommended given them a shot if you haven't yet!

Haitian Fusion. I got the Djon Djon rice bowl and added chicken. It was great. I also got a side of pikliz it was really spicy but I enjoyed it.

Haitian Patties - good, especially with the little slaw/kimchi on the side

Of the five days that I was visiting family in Smyrna, I willingly and excitedly ate food from here three of those days. I have never come across a rice dish so rich in flavor fresh and dense. I could taste every single ingredient and it compliment the others so well. Outside of my addiction to the djon djon, this restaurant did many other things so well. For visiting within an hour of closing, you couldn't tell with with me enthusiasm and genuine niceness from the server and employees, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the food maintained its freshness. We also had the Haitian Patties and Mais Moulin dishes within our party, and both were very good. I got the coconut mojito cocktail and that was also delicious, as I was surprised how the mint / rum and coconut milk didn't override each other in flavor. All in all, coming here ended up being a highlight of my trip.

I have been here now two times once dine in and once carry out. It's a small spot off South Cobb and the service has always been good. They have a nice amount of seating available and an area when you walk in to order or pick up food to go. Yesterday, I ordered the bowl which is very good and comes with plantain. The bowl is $13 and I added the salmon which brought my total to $27 so you do the math. The amount of food was good but I think the salmon was overpriced. For those that don't like spicy I would say no slaw.

I came here while waiting for my car at the dealership nearby. The service and food were really spectacular. I decided to get the djon djon bowl with turkey and also the island ting cocktail. The food was well seasoned and flavorful! The fried turkey was especially good. They were playing music and it was overall just a good vibe. The food was more on the expensive side with the total of my bowl coming out to $25 but they do provide more of an elevated vibe.

The food was good but they were out of quite a few menu items at open. The Rasta pasta was flavorful. The salmon dip was just ok.

The menu selection was extensive though simplistic. Several popular dishes were featured that included traditional meats including goat (cabrit) prepared in different ways. I selected a meal which included djon djon (black) rice, fried green plantain (preparation liked tostones) and fried cabrit. Meal included small portions of pikleas (spicy cabbage mix) and tasty gravy. Order was prepared in a timely fashion and presented as verification before my order was placed in to go bag. Everything was delicious!!! Portion size was enough to have leftovers, which were also perfect. The truly monumental part of my visit was reconnecting with the gentleman who told me about Marie's several months ago. He was sitting in waiting area and we conversed as I took pictures. We talked until we realized our connection and I thanked him again. Will definitely return to get some of my favorite Haitian meals. The plaza where located was spacious with free parking. The interior decorations included plenty seating and beautiful Haitian art work.
