Looking for good creole food for a good price?! Then look no further, Copeland's has amazing dishes and great drinks. I had the pleasure of coming here yesterday for their buffet brunch. The price for all you can eat buffet is 35 dollars. From 11am to 3pm the restaurant does their buffet brunch for customers. To be honest you truly can't beat the price. If you choose to get alcoholic cocktail drinks that's a little bit extra for sure. The customer service was great! Me and my friends had no complaint about the service. The ambiance is New Orleans inspired and their dishes do not disappoint. There's free parking on the premises. If the all you can eat buffet isn't your thing you can order from their lunch menu. The photos below show what I had from a couple of months ago. Never had a bad experience at this place.
I had a great time celebrating Mardi Gras at Copeland's! For around $30, they offered a buffet of Cajun/Creole classics amongst other dishes. Drink specials were available as well. I was a bit dismayed when we arrived because of the long line, but we arrived fairly early and didn't have to wait long. Reservations weren't accepted for this event. Some of my favorite dishes from the buffet included crab and spinach dip, fried shrimp, catfish, red beans and rice and crawfish etouffee. The food was surprisingly good for a buffet. Dishes were replaced adequately and our server checked on us frequently. The hurricanes were only $8 and they were strong. They even had a live band! Although it was packed, the staff worked to ensure guests were seated promptly and the buffet ran smoothly.
One of my favorite brunch spots that never disappoints. The food is amazing and lots of variety. The French toast bites with the banana Foster's glaze is great. My daughter loved the omelette station. I can't wait to return. Thanks to my brother for treating

Very little parking in front of the restaurant, but there is a parking deck nearby. I lucked up and got a parking spot in the front. Came for lunch on a Tuesday during the holiday season. Not crowded at all. The hostess was on the restaurant phone when we arrived so we had to wait a few minutes before we were seated. The waitress was knowledgeable about every dish!!! Didn't really have a recommendation, but could tell you everything about any dish. Started with the corn and crab bisque. Definitely what I needed on a cold day. Not your NOLA, seasoned to perfection soup, but it did what it needed to do for a cold day. Ordered the Seafood Sampler as my meal because the waitress made it sound pretty good. Comes with fried shrimp, catfish, crab cake, fries, and garlic bread. Basically a fried seafood platter. Everything was delicious!!! The fried shrimp were really good. The catfish are more like catfish nuggets. Really good, crunchy and fried hard. Loved! The crab cake was a little too fried. It could've come out of the grease one minute earlier. And the fries are hidden under the food, but they're your basic french fries.
The service, food and drinks are amazing here! I had ordered the shrimp and crabcake pasta, which used to be a staple of mine when I lived in Baton Rouge. I haven't had it since I've been living in Dallas for over 15 years. I was so excited to try this dish again. The difference was that now you could opt for baked crabcakes instead of fried. When they brought my pasta out to me, it was not the same! It was very watery. Once I pointed this out to my server, she immediately acknowledged that it was not supposed to be like that and promptly took it back to the kitchen to be remade. When it was brought back out to me, the manager brought it to me himself. He also apologized. The version he brought me back was more how I remembered it. in terms of ambience, I came during lunch, so the crowd was late. I sat in the bar area. I asked for a sidecar, and it was the best one I've ever had. I love how affordably priced all the drinks are. I will definitely make another stop the next time I'm in Atlanta.

It was served on a croissant-style bun (yes, you read that right!) and came with fries because... you can't go wrong with fries. At the table, someone ordered the crab cakes and another got the shrimp pasta. The food was delicious all around my burger was juicy and well-cooked, topped with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and mayo. My friends loved their dishes too and said the crab cakes were amazing. Our waiter was great and made the experience even better, especially for my friend's first visit. I personally really like this location and definitely recommend checking it out. At one point, they offered an all-you-can-eat brunch -- I'm not sure if that's still a thing, but if it is, it's worth trying. I went years ago and had a great time. Until the next post -- TTYL!

Located at 3101 Cobb Pkwy Atlanta, GA 30339 Health Score 97 = A on 9/13/25 The hostess front desk was not on their job today. I counted five people Laughing and giggling instead of welcoming me and my Mom. I had to ask them should I be seated or if they were ready to seat us. What a disappointment. We dined here to celebrate my Moms Birthday. We ordered the Buffalo Spring Rolls for an appetizer, The Jambalaya Pasta and Crab Cakes and Shrimp for our Entrees. The food was just okay. The ambiance was crowded for a Saturday evening with Jazz music pumping through the speakers. In addition, we had to swat nats during our entire meal. We informed our waitress and she said they were aware of the problem but didn't compensate us for anything. Another disappointment. Not sure if we will ever visit here again.
I had to stop in bring from Ohio and missing when I lived in New Orleans. Service was attentive and human. All the food was fresh. Kids meals were large and their fried shrimp was crunchy and not overcooked. Ambiance was lively and interesting. Had a great time.
Wait staff straight ignored us. Talked to manager who immediately jumped to take care of us, meanwhile the guy (dreads) who's area we were in kept serving tables around us, then came by and asked, "did someone take your order?" My response, "wow, thank you brother! Yes, your manager did." He left, returned minutes later apologizing asking if he could take our drink order saying that his tables are in another section. (another section? Dog, you're serving tables next to, in front of and back of us) Anyway, We told him our entire order was taken and thanked him, but was waiting for sweetener and lemons. He said ok, I'll get it. I asked 3 different people for sweetener and lemons, the waiter twice, and the runner of our food got it without hesitation. The manager returned to take payment saying it was easier for him to wait us. Which tells me, "dreads" pretty much resigned to the fact that he wasn't getting tipped.
The restaurant had a 40 minute wait so we chose to sit at the bar. The drinks are delicious and the pour is health. I ordered from the menu and had the blackened catfish stuffed with crab over rice with shrimp along with rosemary potatoes. My date ate from the buffet which served a wide range of food such as French toast, grits, shrimp, catfish, red beans and rice. Everything was delicious. Due to the crowded restaurant the food came out hot, fresh and fast. I would highly recommend this spot.
Ive been coming here for years. I pretty much order the same thing every time. Ive always enjoyed their red beans & rice with chicken tenders. Those chicken tenders always seem to be fresh. The red beans & Rice have always been good. The restaurant has always provided a nice dining atmosphere with some great New Orleans jazz playing while you dine. The wait staff has always been great. I would say a nice place to take a date,it just gives that vibe.

We dined in at Copeland's Atlanta on a Saturday morning and it was a five star food experience. We expected to wait but were able to sit immediately. Our waitress came over promptly and brought us water. Copeland's has a brunch buffet assortment on the weekends and it is $37.99 for adults. I hadn't been in over a decade, but the food is still outstanding. You get an array of options for breakfast and lunch. My favorites were the biscuits, golden fried fish, cheese grits, french toast bites, cucumber salad, and beignets. The prime rib was tender but could use a little salt. Everything else I tried, had the perfect seasoning. There was so much more to try that I did not, including desserts, pulled pork, red beans and rice, mashed sweet potatoes, bbq chicken, and the omelette station. I loved the fried fish and other breakfast items so much that I was full before I could. When we went the breakfast and desserts were downstairs and the lunch selections were upstairs. I wanted to note this so you don't miss it like I did after getting full on the breakfast. Overall, it is worth it for the price and family friendly. We will be back. read more

I actually ordered this food days ago and have been "Under the weather since" I was trying to figure out what I may have eaten to cause me to not keep anything in. Be it that I have Health Issues and have had H Pylori. I failed to check it this day after ordering $113.00 in food on door dash. We've been going here for YEARS!!! Ever since they closed the one in Birmingham after Katrina, we randomly make the drive over for the cheesecake and the Sunday brunch!!! This time I learned that they have a Saturday brunch, so I tried that. It was PACKED!!! Luckily I went alone so was able to find a seat at the bar. My server was great, and the guy making omelettes was rocking it. The food is still really good, I just wish it wasn't so crowded. read more

All right, so keep in mind. This is probably one of the hardest reviews I've had to do just because I'm not a big fan of New Orleans food. However, my spouse and I were starving and decided to come in here for a quick meal. I saw the ambience is very good somewhere in between romantic and festive if that's possible. Very good wood furnishings and structures. Service started out a little rocky, but that just may be due to being understaffed during the week which we came on a Wednesday. However, our hostess was very helpful once she came around to our table got the buffalo eggrolls, which I would definitely rate at a five. The blackened creole catfish was about a three with the sides. However, the old-fashioned I ordered is definitely a five so that how we got to four . Take it or leave it but I definitely come back just because they know how to make drinks and they have good service. Plus I wanna give some other menu items to try. read more

Arrived at 2pm and the place was still packed! Short wait but very well worth it. Mimosas, spinach and artichoke dip with bow tie pasta was phenomenal and a very unique appetizer. The eggplant piroge was huge with leftovers for tomorrow. The blackened red fish was perfectly cooked- not overcooked and dry- but the piece was probably half the size from last time and half the amount of blackening seasoning. The biscuits was absolutely perfect! The macaroni and cheese was cooked perfectly and super creamy. The dirty rice was good but the crispy bits were not desirable. Being from Cajun Country in Lafayette, LA this is just like the restaurant there and Cajun food. The waitress, Jade was super attentive and I would definitely ask for her when we return. Ambiance was full of the Cajun flair. The place was very clean and the staff were all friendly. read more

During my family trip to Atlanta we stumbled across this place. What a blessing. Upon being seated our waitress was very nice and friendly. We got the Herb fried chicken, grilled catfish, gumbo and fried chicken wings. The restaurant has a New Orleans style to it. Everything was hot and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. When I come back to Atlanta I'll be back to visit. read more

As a former resident of New Orleans, I appreciated coming here. Parking is free and plentiful, so it all started off on a good note. It's run very well to have such a high volume of customers. And speaking of high volume, COME EARLY if you can! I'm pretty sure there are no reservations and it's first come, first served, and this location is pretty popular. There was a crowd when we arrived, but we were sat pretty quickly (party of 2). We went on a Saturday for the buffet. The buffet was great with lots of options. And good mix of traditional breakfast/brunch faves and New Orleans creole classic dishes like red beans and rice and freshly shucked oysters. Oh, and the omelette station was fire! The drinks are good, too. They make a mean sidecar and I also tried the hibiscus margarita. Might have to go back and try the hurricane! read more

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner last night while visiting Atlanta and absolutely loved our time!! Donna was server, she was super sweet and helpful during our dinner. We ordered their jalapeño cucumber margarita and the crash and burn. Both were really good. I tried the crash and burn because she said it had 6 or 8 liquors. It was soooooo good! Didn't even taste as strong as I'm sure it was because not long after a few sips I was sleepy lol! My boyfriend's margarita was really good too, nice and refreshing with a lil kick. For food...omg everything was fantastic! We started with a half dozen raw oysters and a half dozen Rockefeller. Delicious! We ate these so fast! For our entree I ordered the shrimp and crab cake pasta and absolutely loved it. It was perfectly seasoned and creamy. My bf ordered the New Orleans sampler platter which came with a bunch of food and looked really great!Our food also came with these cute lil biscuits that were phenomenal...so soft and warm. We ordered their award winning rum pudding dessert to go but still haven't tried it yet lol. This was such a fun dinner date. I wish we had one in Charlotte we really enjoyed our time and food! Went for a birthday dinner. A party of 4, we were promptly seated. Glad I brought my sweater, it was a little chilly. Our server, Ariel, was amazing. She had great suggestions and she didn't steer us wrong. She never wrote anything down, which was amazing bc there were a few modifications but she got everything correct except for one thing.. My friend ordered salmon with sauce on the side but it came on top.. For starters, we ordered Moscow mules (not good, maybe my fault bc I didn't specify a vodka) but hey.. it's cool. Continuing on, and a Long Island. Moving on, we ordered spinach and artichoke dip with unique bow tie pasta! OMG sooo good.. chefs kiss. And it came out so fast. Next entrees, 1. Salmon roasted potatoes and broccoli 2. Catfish red beans and rice and broccoli 3. Crab cakes and shrimp Alfredo 4. Steak medium well broccoli and sweet potato Now a member of my party was quite concerned about the waitress not asking if anyone has a seafood allergy (which her husband did) but overall a nice experience. & after speaking with a manager found out that they don't even ask that.. soo if you have a seafood allergy that's your job to let them know. We ordered cheesecake and bread pudding to go.. can't speak on the taste yet. Copeland's owes us NOT.A.THING!!!! Came here on a cold night after a fire broke out in my apartment building. Maya was very nice and welcoming and hooked me up with a beer and po'boy in my time of need! Oh yes. Let's talk Good Eats!!? This was my first time being at Copeland's and it wasn't a Sunday. It's no secret that their Sunday Brunch is Anazing, however, last night I was able to experience the traditional restaurant side of things. Walking in, the restaurant was vibrant and super clean. The hostess was attentive as soon as I entered the doors and greeted me with a huge smile. As my party was already seated, she asked if I was meeting someone and escorted me to the booth. Extra shout out to her for being able to read the room, that's superior service. Taking a moment to scroll the menu. Aerial arrived at the table to take our drink orders. From the moment she arrived at the table Aerial displayed customer focused service. She greeted us, asked if it was our first time, took her time to answer my questions about different dishes, and created an overall promoter worthy experience. As I was hungry, I wanted everything on the menu. LoL! Nonetheless, I decided on Appetizer: Small Caesar Salad, add Blackened Chicken. Fresh chilled romaine, Caesar dressing, parmesan cheese, frico, homemade croutons. Main Dish: Blackened Bayou Chicken Fresh blackened chicken breast served over cornbread dressing with a rich crawfish Tasso (spiced pork) cream sauce. Dessert: Al's Favorite Homemade Creole Style Cheesecake Southern style, lighter, whipped cheesecake with a buttery pecan crust Ok. Babeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Let's get into it. The salad was Super Fresh. The lettuce was crispy and the croutons were buttery and well seasoned. The chicken was perfectly blackened like me and had a perfect blackened to natural meat flavor profile. The Balsamic Vinaigrette was thick and BOMB!!!! The rich flavor heightened the already amazing salad and added a slight zing of tang that you didn't know you wanted until you had it. Yep. This was a mouth pleasing dish. The Bayou Chicken was a magic show of good, gooder, and goodest. The blackened chicken was good as I learned from the salad. The flavor of the chicken was spot on and melted well under the cream sauce that steals the show by accident. The cornbread dressing was gooder (yes I said gooder) than one would expect. I have no idea who's recipe this is, but babeeeeeeeeee, my aunt needs to adopt this to add some pizzazz to Thanksgiving. This dressing was tongue shocking good. And then..... just as you were taken by the chicken, the the dressing, I made the mistake of putting them both on my fork at once and sliding it through the cream sauce and babeeeeeeeeeeeeee. The diabolical attack of the GOODEST Flavors invaded my mouth, headed to my kind, and then infiltrated my soul! Whew! This dish is a winner. Needing a sugar to balance my salt, I ordered the "Al's Favorite Homemade Creole Style Cheesecake" for dessert. Babeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! I have no idea who Al is but Al sure knows how to pick a piece of cake heaven. From the light cheesecake blend which meets the flavor measure of an organically good cheesecake without the heaviness, then the audacity of the baker to add a Butter Pecan Crust!!!!!!! Pardon Me!!!!! How dare they create food miracles and not add a warning label that says, "this slice isn't for the weak, hold on tight as you may experience full body sensations of happiness!" When I say this slice is the Bizkneesssssssssss. I mean exactly that. This slice isn't meant to be shared, nor is it meant to be ignored. LoL. The cheesecake isn't too sweet. It's rich and creamy. The crust is buttery, crunchy yet soft and best of all, has hints of honey. Lemme get the crust by itself as a dozen cookies to go. Overall, my experience at Copelands has me already planning my next visit. I tip my hat to the cook, and bid a job well done to Aerial. read more

Everything I've had from Copeland's is good. I typically order from Door Dash and they always get everything right. I love their salads, corn and crab bisque, crusted salmon, herb crusted salmon, bayou chicken,bayou broccoli...all delicious! read more

Is there a Sunday Brunch Buffet? If so can I reserve for Mother's Day?
They have brunch on Saturday and Sunday however they don't take reservations. You might call the restaurant directly to see if they're doing anything special for Mother's Day but that hasn't been the case in the past.

Yes, we are open from 11am to 7pm for our Holiday Buffet. This menu is available on our website. The regular menu is not offered on Thanksgiving. We'll have Cajun Deep Fried turkey pickups happening from 9am to 6pm.
