No complaints about Bon Ton! There is a small parking lot on site and the space upstairs is funky and fun. The shrimp banh mi is soooo good! Drinks 10/10 and the catfish is really good too. My partner gets the red beans and rice.

It's a Thursday evening and we were seeking a place within good distance of the Fox Theatre. I stumbled upon Bon Ton which was within budget and not a white table cloth venue. Ironically, I'd been here before - upstairs to The Waiting Room which is the speakeasy lounge. Tonight was dinner and then to the show. What I especially loved - free parking in the adjacent lot. A win! We made reservations on Resy and arrived on time. The server and only hostess was busy. Tables are inside and outside of this cozy place. The bar is spacious enough with a few people sitting but you have to wait to be seated at a table. After being seated, the food arrived quickly. The menu is a mix of Cajun, Vietnamese and fried seafood dishes. Everything from po'boys, seafood boils, gumbo and bao buns. The cocktails menu is really diverse and mocktails as well. The meals was pretty decent and cocktail was refreshing. We had the crab cake sandwich, broccoli and bowl of gumbo. I'd love to try more dishes at a later visit. Overall, a great experience and loved the moody ambiance. The place is pretty small so plan ahead if it's a busy night.

A clean, casual spot with great southern food. Parking around the area not the most accessible. There is a tiny lot so hopefully you get lucky. Service was not the greatest but there was only one person on the floor so we gotta give grace. We really enjoyed the snow crab legs-- good deal to get a full pound. My boyfriend, who doesn't really like Mac and cheese, really enjoyed the crawfish mac n cheese here!

I love when a restaurant is able to stand out from the rest and when you hear Bon Ton is offering Cajun-Vietnamese cuisine, it's easy to see what makes them so distinct. If the uniqueness isn't enough, wait until you try the food. Everything I've tried has a familiar, Southern taste but with an extra unfamiliar depth which I love. The Mac and cheese with crawfish is spectular, the Po Boys are so damn good and the fresh seafood is absolutely worth trying. You're going to want to keep eating if you're drinking too and the drinks are GREAT.

My sister had found this place and wanted to check them out. There is a private parking lot but with limited spots available on a Friday afternoon. We were lucky to grab a table but it was directly at the front so space was limited there too. Their house boil was tasty but on the sauce was more of a broth. The ettouffee was rich and well seasoned. I really liked their 5 spice broccoli since it retained its texture. The pickled vegetables were more vinegary than expected. Overall, food was pretty good but the portions are small especially for the price. Staff were kind but very busy. May come again in the future!

An unexpected find while on a walk off of Peach Street. In fact, conveniently located to the local favorite (Mary Mac's), Bon Ton offers something fun. Almost like a speakeasy! Vibe is eclectic, yet, welcoming, with a fusion of Cajun and Asian flavors. Service was engaging. Ordered the 5-Spiced Broccoli (it's okay) as well as the Crawfish Mac and Cheese (a restaurant favorite for sides).

I've been coming to Bon Ton for years and I can't rave enough about this place!! There's parking behind the building for Papis and Bon Ton, or you can park residential. I love the vibes inside and I recommend a reservation if you have a larger group, otherwise I've always been seated relatively quickly. Their menu is so fun and all their drinks are so good (we love the mai tai and hurricane)!! Everything I've tried on the menu has been phenomenal. I've tried everything from the oysters, crab claws, gumbo, jicama/papaya salad, to all the po boys and burgers! Overall, great spot and HIGHLY recommend checking out!!

I don't know why I've never written a review for this place. I've been going for years and it's definitely top tier. The dedicated parking lot is a bit small but there's also paid street parking. Reservations are recommended as they can be pretty busy and the location is quite small. The charbroiled crab claws are to DIE for! So freaking delicious - I'm dreaming about when I can have them again. I wish I remembered the name of the frozen beverage I have but I recommend as it is super balanced and not overly sweet. I also had a fried catfish and shrimp basket - delicious! Overall 10/10 - no complaints whatsoever!

I can't believe I had never been here before but Bon Ton is such a gem and I'll definitely be going back. The food was *chefs kiss* made perfectly, the space has that NOLA aesthetic, and the service was great! There were people here as groups, on dates, and I imagine it would even be a cool place to go sit at the bar alone. We started off with some oysters to share which I enjoyed, they were mild but tasty. Then we had planned to split the catfish banh me and the shrimp banh me, we accidentally got 2 catfish banh me's, so one was complimented to us and we still got the shrimp banh me. We absolutely DEVOURED all three (hence why I don't have a proper picture of the catfish one). Trust me when I say the catfish was soft, delicate, seasoned to perfection, and the shrimp was crispy, very clearly fried fresh, also cooked to perfection. Everything was amazing, I hear the bar upstairs has some fun events but I couldn't find it on the website, regardless, I will be back!

This is an interesting place serving vietnamese-creole dishes! Aesthetic is so pretty inside. Highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time especially if you don't want to sit at the bar. Vibes were great. We got the truffle mac n' cheese, crawfish etoufee bowl, and Bo Kho Bon Ton Rice Bowl. The etoufee bowl was so flavorful and my favorite of the nice. My partner also really likes the rice bowl and found it to be a good size to eat. The mac n' cheese was mediocre. They also seem to have a lot of interesting mixed drinks to try here as well!

Pleasantly surprised upon entering, Bon Ton is so cute inside.. My friend and I had 2:15 reservation. We arrived on time and was seated immediately. Our server Holly introduced herself in a timely manner. Holly was great at explaining the most ordered items on the menu. PROS Menu Variety Food - I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Burger and Red Beans & Rice. They were both good however, I'll try something new when I return. My friend ordered the House Boil and 5 Spice Broccoli which she enjoyed. The entire staff was really friendly. CON Parking

Came here for dinner on a business trip. Found this place on yelp and really want to try Cajun food, especially the etouffee. Got the seasonal drink - yellow snow, which is the pretty fruity. I like it! I got the crawfish etouffee. It was very tasty. Doesn't seem to be a big portion but I felt pretty stuffed after finishing it. My waiter was nice, checking on me occasionally but not too frequently. It was nice inside the restaurant: I sat close to the bar but it wasn't noisy. It was pretty crowded in a Thursday evening.

What type of nuts are in the cauliflower falafel?

Does this establishment have high chairs available?

Prob not. I wouldn't say it's super kid friendly. Great for meeting up with friends tho.

Are kids welcome on a week night?

This isn't really a kid place but I'm sure you could take them there

Is the food menu the same during the Sippin Santa pop up bar?

Food is the same. Be on the lookout for the special Sippin Santa menu

What are the oyster happy hour prices?

    $1.50 per oyster.

Does this establishment have Happy hour?

Happy hour is illegal in the state of Georgia. They have an oyster happy hour from 4-6 Monday-Friday.

Is the regular dinner menu offered at lunch time on Saturday?

Yes, we have a brunch menu in addition to our regular menu on both Saturday and Sunday.

Is this place Kid-Friendly for the brunch hours?

I agree with Scott. The food here is great, but on the spicy side. Teenagers yes, small children not so much.

What's the parking situation here? Is there a lot, deck, or street parking only?

There is a private lot connected to us that we share with Papi's next door. That being said, during busy times it fills up fast. There is on the street parking, but it can be restricted during certain hours tdue to Midtown Neiighborhood Permit…

It was a Friday night, so it was pretty packed when we first got there. We put our names down, and then grabbed a drink at the bar. There was outdoor seating that was available, so we grabbed a seat. We were then notified that our table was ready. It wasn't even 20 minutes, so this was great. The host took us to two seats at the bar. SOS is such a cool island type of vibe. They have so many different tiki cocktails that you can choose from. They are mostly made of rum, but they have a few other ones that are made with different alcohols. Me and my wife both got our own drinks. Hers was a special Valentine's Day themed drink that was on the menu, and mine was one of the tequila/mezcal tiki drinks. Both tasted really good! The presentation was just as good too! You aren't limited to these though, it's a full bar, so you can get whatever you want. They also have a few food options, but very limited. Our bartender, Heather, was super nice as well. My wife had asked (when I went to the restroom) if they did anything for birthdays, since my birthday was a few days prior. She did this cool fire presentation and gave us two little slushie shots. Awesome bartender for sure! SOS is a great place to go for some really fun drinks. It's good for groups, but keep in mind that they do get quite busy on the weekends! I'll definitely be back.

Pelican Pete's being on the water and making it easy to dock your boat and come on up is suuuper convenient. Who wants to pack a lunch and make room in the cooler? Nobody. That definitely means this place gets busy though. So prepare yourself for possibly a long wait. Some friends and I visited Saturday afternoon. We put our names in for our group (10 of us) and had a wait of an hour. Not horrible. We took a bathroom break and hung out at the boat until it was our time. Pro- the bathroom was surprisingly clean! Con- only 3 stalls so there was a significant line. When we sat down we had to wait a bit to get our orders taken which was a little annoying but there were lots of people there so I'm sure our server was swamped. She was friendly. The food was pretty good! I liked the dock burger that I got. I loved the sauce they put on it, paired really well with the carmelized onions. Fries were awesome! And I loved the Lava Flow drink as well. The way they brought out our food was not the greatest. They had a food runner bringing the plates out and asking the whole table "who ordered the _____" and some of us ordered the same thing without an ingredient so that was a lot of fun for a table of 10. Why not hire more servers and have them bring the food to their own tables? Much better idea especially for larger groups where they know who ordered what. Prices are a little high, especially for things like fish & chips. $24? Kinda weird. Not sure why a burger is $6 less than simple fried fish. Anyway. I know it's on the water and there are costs involved in that, so I won't harp on it too much. I'd happily come back because I enjoyed the food and love how easy it is to come up to it off the water. But it would be really nice if they had more bathrooms and knew who ordered what when they ran food. Oh and if they lowered the price of the seafood.
