Come closer, let me give you a lil life advice *whispers* get the fried chicken on Soul Food Sunday! Ok back to your regularly scheduled review, Breaker Breaker serves buckets of fried chicken on Sundays, and you're seriously missing out if you don't make your way down there soon! The crispy, juicy, mixed pieces are what KFC wishes they could be on a good day. The Mac is Creamy and the collards are smoky with a hint of sweetness. I'm sure the sweet tea is good but I opted for a margarita instead. Everything is served by friendly staff in a fun casual atmosphere. If I ever don't feel like cooking on a Sunday, you know where to find me!

3.5/5 Came in on a Friday night and it was busy but service was attentive. Atmosphere: The set up is cute and the music is great. There's a walk up order station & limited service walk up bar. Theres a full bar upstairs and seating with full service inside. THE FLIES THOUGH. We spent our entire meal waving our hands so none would land on our cups or food. I know its summer in the south so bugs are a given but maybe large fans to keep them away Food: We got the Captains Platter and split it along with a Caesar salad. You probably want your own meals. I wish they specified what the "gulf fish" is but I also could have asked. It was firm and a bit dry. The shrimp was fiiiiire, their fries are fiiiiire, the hushpuppies were good. We ended up ordering more fries after finishing our meal. Would try again

Enjoyed my first visit to Breaker Breaker. Great vibes and good food! Decided to check it out on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy. (We did go around 6). We sat outside on the lower patio. The set up is pretty cool. The patio you walk up to order and the inside you are served. The upstairs (Florida man) is more of a bar feel. (I got Miami cool kids vibe up there). But Plenty of seating everywhere. We ordered the peel and eat shrimp and the blackened grouper Sammy. Really enjoyed the shrimp. The cocktail sauce was delightful. Loved the grouper sandwich. The slaw definitely goes well on the sandwich. The only negative feedback I had was their flys and mosquitos everywhere. Probably not their responsibility but it's definitely coming from the natural area between the restaurant and the belt like. And doesn't help that the trash was pretty full. Other than that complaint everything was great. Also, love that they had Sierra Nevada on draft. You Can never go wrong with that!

So glad I came here! Loved the vibe--I really felt like I was on the beach lol. Breaker Breaker is located near the Renoldsytown side of the belt-line. Youll have to find a residential/street parking space. When you walk up, the bar/window is for drinks only, but if you walk further down, there's a separate window to order food. I ordered the grouper sandwich, fries, and the seasonal boozy slushy, which was lime, ginger, and cherry (I think). Cashier was nice and even let me sample the slushy before buying! The food was good! Fries were different but well seasoned and hot. Grouper was a good size too. There were fans rotating from the side of the building, so there was a nice breeze. Afterwards, you can take a nice walk on the beltline. I can't wait to come back to try the vegan crab cakes and the oysters!

Breaker Breaker has a fan out of me. Decided to try for lunch as Hubby and I were craving seafood. Breaker Breaker is located off of the Eastside beltline (NOT the Ponce City Market area) in a residential area so parking is very limited. We were able to locate a street spot. Once you arrive you have the option to be served inside or order at the window for patio seating where food will be brought out to you. I ordered the fried fish tacos with the seasonal boozy slushy and my Husband had the boiled peanuts with the Fried Fish Captain's platter. There's a water station to serve yourself, wish it was ice water since we sat on the patio. Patio seating gives you the option to sit away from dogs or with your dog/amongst dogs. Love that each outdoor section on the patio had an overhead fan. Breaker Breaker also had great tunes playing with a friendly staff. I'm obsessed with the boozy slushy, great flavor and so refreshing. My Husband enjoyed the boiled peanuts but wished the cayenne pepper was tossed throughout the peanuts. I got to try some of his fried fish that was seasoned and breaded very well. It was paired with hand cut chips that still had a slight French fry thickness and texture to them & were also seasoned very well. My fried fish tacos were pretty tasty in flavor but very heavy on the slaw, would've loved just a bit more fish within the taco. Overall I can't wait to return for good seafood and people watching.

Very cute neighborhood spot with great vibes, it's dog friendly, super spacious and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. I've also seen people here come and work on their laptops, which is pretty cool. Especially if you're meeting someone there after work and don't want to deal with rush hour traffic, arriving earlier in the day, finishing work from there doesn't sound like a bad plan. Good gets ordered in the window on the street side which sometimes has pretty long lines especially on weekends but it does move quickly. The food is not bad but also nothing to rave about. It's nice that they have food options and I'm not complaining about that. Staff is all over the spectrum, some are friendly and hospitable while others are quite unpleasant. It is what it is.

If you're looking for a laid-back outdoor experience, this is the place to be. Just to give you a quick overview: there are two sections--yes, two--one for dog lovers, and the other for those who may enjoy dogs but prefer not to be surrounded by them while dining. However, I did notice someone breaking the rule, so I'm not sure how strictly this policy is enforced! There are also two sections for food and bar service. If you're ordering food and prefer the patio option, you'll need to order at the counter and then grab a seat on the patio. If you're planning to enjoy your meal at the bar, you can order both food and drinks directly at the bar. If you're having a drink--whether it's a cocktail, beer, or specialty drink--and want to enjoy it on the patio, you simply order at the bar and then head back to your seat on the patio. I ordered the shrimp platter, and it was seasoned to perfection--crispy with excellent flavor! My habanero beverage was also delicious. My only slight concern was the lack of diversity, though this could have been due to the time I visited. Given that it's Atlanta, I was expecting to see a broader mix of cultures. That being said, the demographics of certain neighborhoods can sometimes result in a more homogenous crowd. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it.

Who would have thought we could get delicious, fresh-tasting seafood in Atlanta right outside Cabbagetown, but here we are! Stopped by and ordered a Cup of Gumbo, Charbroiled Oysters, Blackened Grouper Sandwich, and a Gulf Fish Fried Platter to eat. For cocktails we had the Vaya Con Dios and the Billy Big Rigger. Every single dish was delicious and perfectly executed; I personally love the way this place cuts their fries! I enjoyed the cocktails, especially the slight heat mixed with passion fruit flavor in the Vaya Con Dios. Minus 1 star because I would have preferred if they had seats with back at the bar instead of stools, but I get they may have been going for that retro diner vibe. However, that won't stop me from going back because the food was too good!

LOCATION: On the far side of the Beltline. There is street parking, but I came on a weekday so not sure how busy it gets on the weekend or peak times. AMBIANCE: Indoor/Outdoor causal vibe. This place is BIG! It was empty when I came on a weekday, but I'm sure it gets PACKED! You can hangout & people watch along the Beltline. FOOD: $20 CABBAGE & CRISPY RICE SALAD + ADDED GRILLED SHRIMP. It was a HUGE salad. Got some blackened grilled shrimp, it was DELICIOUS! I wish there was more crispy rice on top for texture but it was amazing! Came with freshly sliced oranges also. OVERALL: Super cool place to come and hangout for the day, maybe day drink, or people watch, grab a quick bite. Casual enough to come often!

Omg I love this place! Prior to this weekend, I always walked past this spot on the beltline but I never stopped in. Thanks to having to attend an event there, I visited and it's now a new spot on my list for warm weather fun! There's an 80s theme here with a mainly seafood menu. Lots of highchair and table seating and an upstairs open patio. I had their fried shrimp and chips and they were so flavorful! The drinks were good too. I had a margarita and two blue slushies. Talk about tipsy!!!! The crowd is mixed. Young and old, trendy and hipster, and all points in between. The music was 80s pop, new wave, funk and rnb and I was in heaven! Meet me here!

Came here for a few happy hour drinks on my recent trip to Atlanta and enjoyed my time here. To quote the great Guy Fieri, it's a funky little joint, eclectically decorated, with mostly outdoor tables. I wish we'd eaten here, because their food menu looked bomb, seafood forward with lots of inventive options. Service was quick and friendly. The cocktail menu was a nice mix of the standards plus more interesting options that were fun to try. I ended up getting a drink that had candy on top of it which made me feel like a big kid again. If you're coming here with a stroller or dog, there's ample space and the place seems to cater to that kind of crowd, there's even a kids menu that has shrimp and fish on it which is nice to see, not just your standard chicken finger combo.

This review, I copied and pasted from door dash, because the food was soooo damn good lol This food was soooo good! The vegan crab cakes were amazing! It literally makes me thinks of the days before I went vegan. So flavorful and delicious! The remoulade was incredible too and vegan!! I will definitely order this again. I now want to go to this place in person because they were so good! It's hard to find places that serve seafood with a vegan option! Breaker Breaker you nailed it!! Please keep this on your menu! Also the salad was incredible! I will definitely be it's that again! The pumpkin seeds mixed with the crunchy rice---DELICIOUS!!! If you're vegan look and looking for a great lunch or some really good vegan crab cakes try out breaker breaker !!! The only thing I would ask if that BB properly seals the food with staples so that there is no tampering!

I know there is parking for the shops and restaurants that were closer but I took the first spot I saw. I did like that the restrooms were gender neutral. The tables on the inside are ideal for dates but can easily be put together for larger parties. The outdoor patio is a sight to behold. The outdoor patio can be enclosed in plastic for bad weather. The patio has plenty of plants. The outdoor patio seems to be set up for larger parties. It's the longest I've ever heard of! It's located in a strip mall next to other restaurants. With it being almost 5pm on a Friday night I understood why parking close was difficult. When you're excited to try something new it doesn't matter how far away you have to park or how cold it is outside. I don't always check reviews when trying new things. Case in point with this location. Walking in you're introduced to a real nice vibe. Music selection is nice, it's not too loud, service was immediate, and the decor matched the vibe. Our orders were taken and brought out in a decent amount of time. Every thing was good. An order of calamari was returned because it was over cooked. No problem! Our server understood and it was removed from the bill. Everyone was full, enjoyed their meal, loved watching people being celebrated with flashing lights, had a nice time and would go back again; maybe. There were three in our party. Two of us, myself being one of the two, would go back if we could dine outside. Apparently, as explained to me, hookah is all the rave in Atlanta. Two of us do not smoke (anything). The restaurant wood be great if it had vents to extract the smoke in the air. For those that have sensitive lungs, don't like the smell of smoke and/or don't want to leave with smoke in your hair or clothes, this place may not be for you. Towards the end our server got distracted and stopped checking on us. We had to ask for things (water, drinks, our bill) repeatedly. I was told service sometimes tends to decline because of the automatic 20% gratuity attached to the bill. That may or may not be true. I don't know. Overall, go and try it. The food was good. The environment was nice and if you get there early enough you may find a parking space close by!

This place is really cute and has a lot of neon signs throughout that that go with the theme and incorporate the name. The happy hour menu definitely has options to choose from and it's nice to see that they had days where there were specials for each day. We went on a Monday and I was excited to see that there where all you could eat crab legs for $45. If you look at the reviews and you see the crab legs, that is exactly what my order looked like. Immediately after receiving my first order of crab legs, I asked for my next order to be placed so that by the time I finished the first two crab legs, the next order will be coming. The initial order was two crab legs, one small piece of corn on the cob that was cut in half, and a red potato that had been cutting in half as well. The refill order was only one crab leg so basically you had to keep ordering crab legs. It seems like they really didn't mean what they said when they advertise all you can eat. The kitchen was backed up, so it took a while for the crab legs to come; everyone else at the table ordered a regular entrées and their food came pretty quickly. For my birthday, the waitresses came out with flashing lights and a piece of cheesecake. That was a really nice touch and I definitely appreciated my friends for letting the staff know what we were celebrating. The cheesecake was really good. Overall, it was a pretty decent experience. I was just expecting more when it came to the all you could eat crab legs.

We started with the Chargrilled Louisiana Oysters, which were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious--honestly, the best I've ever had. The Volcano Roll was also great--generous in size and perfect for sharing. It's listed as having "spicy crab," but I didn't find it spicy at all (a plus for me!). If you want more heat, wasabi is served on the side. For entrees, I had the Salmon Teriyaki and my husband had the Braised Beef. My salmon was perfectly cooked and came with fluffy white rice and mixed vegetables. But he definitely won the entree round--his beef was tender, flavorful, and served with what tasted like sweet mashed potatoes (the menu said red potatoes). The glazed carrots were slightly firm but still tasty. To top it all off, we were served a mini chocolate cake with whipped vanilla icing--soft, rich, and perfect for sharing.
