Strawberry matcha and salted caramel lattes
    Eowyn K.

*Review for coffee only Necessary Purveyor is on the block outside of Ponce City Market. We stopped in for coffee after the market. I had a matcha latte with strawberry, and my friend had a salted caramel latte. Hers may have been the best salted caramel I've had. Mine was also very good. That said, they are very pricy, for the same standard size. The cafe is nice and airy, with lots of windows, upscale casual. The service was friendly, drinks were prompt, though I note it was not very busy during the last afternoon.

Came on a weekend and it was definitely busy! The ordering process took a very long time! The line is long and getting your order is confusing. The coffee to the side doesn't even have a ticket system. They just say your name and leave it on the table but it got a little confusing if you share a name w someone or if you didn't see which drink they put down lol. I want the correct order if I'm paying $10 for a latte! We also got a breakfast plate and it was $18 and mediocre. The Rockos cutlet chicken was fried and pretty tender but the bread was a little dry. The service wasn't too friendly either, I tried to get a to go box and they just pointed in the direction of the line when the boxes were right in front of them. Overall, overpriced and overhyped in my opinion.

Stopped by Necessary Purveyor recently and was really impressed. This newer addition to Ponce City Market seems to have found a great groove--what started with more of a fine-dining approach has clearly evolved into something more customer-driven and approachable. The vibe and energy are great. There's always a steady flow of people, but it never feels overly crowded - just the right amount of buzz. It works for just about anything: casual coffee/matcha (ceremonial grade!), breakfast, lunch, drinks, a date, meeting with parents, or even a quick business bite. The bar also has a TV, which is nice for sports fans. Big fan of the grab-and-go market section too - perfect for quick, healthier bites before you head out or for a stroll on the beltline. Service was impressively fast. We tried the Cobb salad, steak sandwich, and short rib hash. The steak sandwich was outstanding and easily the standout of the meal, and hash a close second. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to!

Great strawberry matcha! Got it three mornings in a row. Woke me up and tasted just right in terms of sweetness level. Also really liked the bacon egg cheese bagel and the avocado toast. They make it on a sourdough bread which is sooo soft and fluffy. The one disappointing breakfast item I tried was the lox bagel. The lox was really overpowering and a bit too fishy - not sure what brand they use. Service was fast and nice! There's a good handful of tables inside, of varying sizes. Really nice to sit there in the morning and enjoy a good breakfast.

uuUuuMmmMmM HELL YESSSZ! Came here because the chicken caesar was recommended, and omg!!!! It reminded me of a place from back home in Florida. Anyways, cayUuuUuTe cafe style vibes the kitchen and bar are in the center but the seating is nice. I believe it's lowkey a great coworking space as well. The cashier was also the bar tender great recommendations, super accommodating! Along with the wrap I got the shoe string fries 10/10. Will be back to try some pastries

Came in for brunch this past weekend and loved it. This spot is super cute and a great spot for a nice weekend brunch. Their lunch menu also looked really good - some good looking sandwich options. For brunch, we got the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and the pancakes. The biscuit sandwich was so good! The biscuit itself was delicious. The pancakes were yummy too. I liked the honey butter that came with it. It came with 3 pancakes so definitely enough to split! I also got the banana bread latte and it was incredible!

Definitely one of those cute breakfast restaurants you go to for the picture or vibe. Since this is very common in Miami where I'm from, it wasn't anything out of this world for me. Felt like your typical semi-overpriced cafe. The egg biscuit was pretty good though!

Came here when visiting the Old Fourth Ward area of downtown Atlanta. So glad this place was recommended! This is counter service and you order when you walk in, grab a number and your food is delivered by a SUPER friendly staff member. There is a cooler where there are some quick grab and drink options. We ordered the steak sandwich, the Philly cheesesteak and a BLT. ALL were excellent!! Each sandwich was served on ciabatta style bread which sometimes can be a little hard and crusty. These were not! Soft and delicious. These sandwiches were stuffed and I have to say my favorites were the BLT and the Philly. Thank goodness we are a sharing family! Plenty for now and definitely needed boxes for later. Fantastic meal! Served with pencil thin cut French Fries and a side of ketchup. The staff here are super friendly, and there was a slight mishap right next to us involving some broken dishes. The server who slipped could not have been nicer and apologetic. She checked back on us several times. The restaurant has super high ceilings and it was quite lively and busy in there. It was a bit loud, but the food and service well over shadowed any problem with the noise. We had a great time, a quick lunch and full bellies!! Great location in a super cool and trendy area right outside Ponce City Market! Get here for this BLT!!

This is an amazing new spot to pop into at Ponce City Market!! Not only do they have amazing delicious coffee and pastries, but they also have a full brunch, lunch and dinner menu. The sandwiches are amazing and a perfect afternoon treat after shopping. I split a sandwich and fries with my sister and it was the perfect amount of food. I would highly recommend going over there! You can just walk in during the day and it seems like they have reservations as well for dinner!

This place is truly a gem. The interior is simply stunning and the food was AMAZING!! What a great addition to Ponce. The staff are super friendly and helped with so many recs. The banana bread latte was delicious and the "viral" chicken Cesar salad wrap was yummy! Can't wait to come back and try more and bring my laptop to do work next time!

This place has been all over social media lately for their yummy sandwiches and good offering. I can't attest to that because we only stopped here for coffee. I'm trying to cut down on caffeine and unfortunately, they do not offer decaf espresso. The staff suggested I get one shot of espresso instead of two in my latte, so I did just that with lavender syrup. It was definitely on the sweet side and was decent. My husband ordered a cortado - one shot for $5!!! Everything was decent but definitely will come back and try their food next time.

This is a super cute little spot. I've heard alot of great things about it so I had to check it out. The sandwhich was good but it was a little pricey. You do get a good amount of food but I still think it was over priced. The staff was sweet and the food was prepared fast. I would come back to this place and try something else if I was in the area.

This is a review on behalf of my husband, as they don't have much of anything GF (real bummer) but he loved it! He had a BEC sandwich for breakfast and an Iced Latte and really enjoyed them both. We went on their 2nd day open and it was already smooth sailing in there. Service was very friendly and fast. The space is so beautiful and clean. Great addition to the Scout Living hotel. I hope they consider getting some additional tea options (other than the current Chai and Matcha) in the future!

For around $13, you get a large breakfast sandwich and a side of your choice, which is hard to beat. Ordering through the app was quick and easy, and everything arrived without any issues. My only surprise was the apple butter on the sandwich. I overlooked that detail when ordering, so the first bite caught me off guard because I wasn't expecting the sweetness. That's completely on me, and I should have requested that it be left off. While the apple butter wasn't my personal preference, I don't want to take away from the quality of the sandwich itself. The croissant was fresh, the bacon, egg, and cheese were generous, and I can absolutely see why someone who enjoys a sweet and savory breakfast sandwich would love it. The menu also allows for customization, which I simply forgot to do. I'll definitely order from Sean's again. Next time, I'll just remember to hold the apple butter.

We kinda stumbled upon this place because I wanted coffee and my husband wanted food. Simple enough combo, I know. BUT as I dug through my Yelp suggestions, Sean's Candler came up highly rated. Plus, I'm always down to try something new. First off, I love the Candler Park area. Don't visit enough, and now I have reasons to come more often. When you walk into the restaurant, you get a true friendly, neighborhood vibe. The exposed brick walls, painted murals, and smiling faces from the staff are the perfect touch. Like I said, I originally just wanted coffee and my husband food...we got it all! I ordered some type of iced coffee with cinnamon, which was delicious! For food I got the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant with a side salad. Soooo good! The sandwich also has apple butter on it, which takes it to another level. The cooks definitely know what they're doing, and all I can see is that I will be back for much more!

The interior (and exterior) is clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was spotless. I believe this shop is an offshoot of the Kaldi's brand. The line can get pretty long but the two baristas working on this day were strong and able to get people in and out. Service was efficient and friendly, but they do show warmer interactions with people who are clearly regulars. Can't be mad at it. I got a strawberry matcha latte and a bacon/egg/cheese which apparently comes on a bagel and isn't customizable at all. Matcha was good -- typical more than anything. The sandwich was pre-made slop. Fake egg, limp bacon, flavorless and doughy bagel. I would have skipped on this entirely had I known they were going to grab a bag from their grab-n-go section and put it in a microwave. Totally not worth $9. Skip unless you're starving and simply need the calories. Luckily they offer a discount for anyone who works in Ponce City Market, which is sweet and made me feel better about that horrible sandwich. We decided we would wait until the weekend since we would have to drive from Cobb county to the city. I started doing some research and did not see ube latte on the menu. I called the phone number listed on yelp- but it appears it is just a cell number and went directly to voicemail. I went to the website and found an email address. As such, you will just have to find street parking in the neighborhood. I ended up parking a block away. This place was crowded! I did have to wait in a line. However, I enjoyed checking out the item for sale while waiting in line. The book titles had me laughing , this is your go to spot for a unique gift! We ended up ordering the following: 1. Hot Matcha latte with ube and oat milk 2. Hot ube latte with oat milk 3. Cheese danish NOTE: I did confirm that the matcha they use is NOT pre- sweetened. This is a huge plus in my book!! The item came out quickly. All items weee served in to go containers. I am not sure if this is just standard practice even if you are dining in. We were able to grab a table outside! However, this place was crowded and open seating was limited! My matcha was AMAZING! It was not too sweet, which is how I like my matcha. The cheese danish was also delightful. My friend said she enjoyed her latte too. I will note that I did not taste the Ube flavor. This coffee shop is a vibe, but also serves yo tasty drinks and treats!
