Okay okay Im going to be honest and state that normally I'd give this place a 4 based on food and the wait time. I had the pastrami, egg, & cheese sandwich on the Dabo biscuit. The biscuit itself is delicious and the pastrami is nicely thin and a little crispy. The sandwich as a whole is good but reads slightly dry without a condiment. However, once I added the spicy honey butter it was veeery tasty and well balanced. Be sure to add a condiment!! Here's why I'm giving it a 5. Although the wait for the sandwich was a bit long for the small # of people there, it actually worked out in my favor!! During my wait the owner Lindsay came out with a hot tray of sticky buns and I immediately jumped back in line to order one. She took the time to introduce herself to me and explain the name Sticky Buna and some of the ingredients like dates. (Buna is the name of an Ethiopian coffee). I really felt the love and devotion to this place in my short interaction and heard others inside talking about their positive experience at the Sugar Loaf pop ups. Whenever local businesses have this sort of care and community building, a 5 is certainly deserved. Support this business.

I've been a fan of Sugar Loaf since their days slinging breakfast at Grant Park Farmer's Market. Now that they've opened a brick and mortar, of course I had to check them out and brought my in-laws. Pack your patience because there was a quite a long wait for Sunday breakfast. It's counter service and they will call your name when your order is ready for pick up. The only thing is that if you grab one of the tables outside, you won't be able to hear your name unless someone in your party sticks around inside. Of course, I had to get their chicken sausage, egg and cheese biscuit on a buttermilk biscuit with a decaf coffee. The sausage was juicy and the cheese nicely melted. The biscuit was perfect as well. It was a hefty biscuit but was so worth it. Nebi and Lindsay, the owners, are the kindest people ever and it shows from the love that you feel when you walk in their cafe! PS: if you park at the parking deck behind, they validate 2 hour free parking!

Biscuits are hot and delicious. I was disappointed that jelly/jam was an extra charge. Yogurt bowl was a disappointment. Small and expensive in my opinion. Great customer service!

Came here for breakfast over the weekend. They validate parking for 2 hours in the deck. It wasn't too crowded when we got there. We ordered right away and didn't have an issue getting a table. But the line started to build up! They have biscuit sandwiches as well as a couple other things for breakfast. They also had some lunch items. We got the pastrami egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. Super yummy! Definitely will be returning!

We saw some of the really cute things in the window, so we walked in and it did not disappoint. The place was filled with chocolates macaroons and a whole bunch of pastries. You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I don't know who's making this stuff but they are truly talented. I have to come back here again when I'm in Buckhead Village.

This is a bakery with a super cool selection of international cakes and collectibles. Japanese cream cakesC croissants, sweet-filled buns, on & on. It looks like quite a few items sell out, so it can be hit or miss if you have a favorite. We got our boba teas, a tiramisu, strawberry cream cakes to satisfy the sweet tooth(s), but I was so excited to see a chicken korean BBQ sandwich that I had to get one! OH-EM-GEE!! I will be back to the sandwich alone!! It didn't take too long for the hot sandwich despite it being nearly closing time on a Saturday. The staff was helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. The diner itself isn't fancy, and the tables could use some consistent cleaning and clearing. You get plastic tableware and napkins on your own. But it was warm in a cold evening and had plenty of places to sit in the evening. I can imagine it gets pretty packed for lunch. Not sure.

Housesitting brought me to the neighborhood, and now I might have to make the trek regularly. I bought three sourdough bagels and a brown butter coconut cookie. My blood sugar was low and I absolutely could not resist eating the cookie on my way home. Wow.. It was so chewy and delicious. Both flavors come through really nicely. On to the bagels... These are, by far, the best bagels I've had in Atlanta. Honestly, they put the chain bagel spots to shame. The interior is really open and has that beautiful sourdough tang. They're perfectly crusted on the outside and provide a nice base for a spread/schmear. I'm so so impressed. Thank you Evergreen. I'll be back.

I like the savory pistachios and the creamy and crumbly coconut cream. - Chocolate Chip Cookie: This was such a delicious cookie! Perfectly made in between soft and firm and textures. The sea salt on top was chef's kiss. The lines move pretty fast. There's nowhere to sit and lounge, so you would need to take these pastries elsewhere to enjoy. The staff is also really nice and patient when my friend and I were trying to decide on pastries. Overall, I think these pastries would do good in an air fryer/oven. I would come back, but bring the pastries home to warm and crisp them up a bit. I also really want to try their burger which is only sold on the weekend at certain times!

It comes down to appearance, taste, texture (love a good bite; should not be mealy), chew, and substance. I'm pleased to report that Saint Germain satisfied my sweet (French) tooth. After the sampler, I was done desserting. Yep, sampler. Why settle for one flavor when you can try them all? Well, six. Six. I tried six. And each one was excellent. The staffer was patient and helpful in leading me to a mix that would satisfy my desire to be a bit broad in my tastes but never traveling too far from sweet. Savory is not the move when it comes to these treats. My journey to France by way of Atlanta started with chocolate then went to raspberry violette (what???) then I went to the circus with cotton candy. I got a bit traditional with salted caramel, stayed there with nutella and finished up with creme brulee. When I tell you each macaron was better than the first... wow. You definitely get what you pay for -- so this wouldn't be an everyday splurge but... when you get a hankering pay for the real deal. Your tastebuds will thank you. If you're gonna go, go all in. Next time I'll venture past the macarons... but not too far.

It had a decent peach flavor to it and the top part of the peach had an ice cream texture to it. Would recommend ordering one of their pastries! Service was decent. We received our orders quickly. There is plenty of seating near the cafe and throughout the hall. There is also parking in a big lot connected to the hall.

Sometimes their open hours are a bit off, as if been before during regular hours and they've been closed. I'll also add that the entrance can be confusing as Family Baking shares space or simply is owned by Rolls Village. None of this stops me from stopping by. The cherry on top is that the service is truly phenomenal. I love being greeted where I spend money, and the guy who frequently mans the cash register has such great energy.
