Stopped by Bibi for lunch to go. This is a Del Bar fast casual concept with Mediterranean staples(kebabs etc). I ordered the salad with salmon and my lunch partner had a sandwich with fries. Everything was yummy. A bit on the pricey side for lunch though - our total was $50+. Also it took forever, seemed like we were competing with pick up orders.

I was excited to find that Bibi is part of Delbar (and I love Delbar). We ordered via Uber Eats so naturally, the food needed heating up by the time we got it. I ordered the joojeh but substituted the regular basmati rice with Adas polo. The sauce my meal was served was so addictively delicious. The rice came a plenty and the chicken was cooked to perfection. It was also served with some pickled veggies on the side, which I didn't care for. We also got their hummus and it's one of the best.

We really liked this little food stall. The staff was very friendly and the food was prepped quickly while we waited. There's plenty of seating out in the hallway, so we didn't have to go far to find a table and eat. I'd probably skip the lamb on the labneh next time, but the dill labneh itself was delicious. Seriously some of the best I've had anywhere. The falafel was also tasty and maybe a little spicy? Either way, different and good overall.

I had the koobideh sandwich, it is without a doubt one of the best things I have EVER eaten. The meat is meat is perfectly flavored, the sauce is reminiscent of a tomato vodka sauce, and their bread is sensational as well. I seriously can't say enough good things about this sandwich. It also comes with a side of fries or a salad, both of which have an extremely generous portion, just like the sandwich. I can't wait to go back to Atlanta for this meal

Loved the food here!!! We ordered online because we wanted to eat outside and it was a quick pickup, staff were so nice and the space inside Ponce is super cute. Both dishes were flavorful and delicious, the fries were soo good and they definitely give you your moneys worth they packed that container to the brim!! 5/5 food 5/5 service 5/5 vibes

Beautifully designed space. Quality of the ingredients was great, and fresh off the grill. Service was quick and easy. Joojeh Kebab was chicken over long grain rice with a tomato based sauce. I really enjoyed it. I also had a side salad which I really enjoyed. Overall the food was bright and enjoyable.

I tried this for the first time the other day because it looked really good and I've heard good reviews about Delbar. I got the lamb sandwich and chose the side salad over fries. It was $20 which is a little overpriced. The sandwich is massive and was delicious. I saved the salad for later but it was just okay. The small napkins were inconvenient as the sandwich is saucy. Food was made to order and came out pretty fast.

This is a Persian food stand in the Ponce Food Hall. Our kebab rice platter was delicious. Great flavor on the meat (lamb and brisket) but the rice especially had a nice buttery flavor along with the delicious sauce. Glad we chose this option, as there are so many choices in the food hall! It comes with a side of picked veggies and a dipping sauce.

I was immediately drawn to this place when I saw the sign outside for the baklava ice cream, because I LOVE baklava! I was super excited to try it and asked if I could sample it, but they said that they were already prepackaged so I decided to try it anyways. We didn't eat it in the store and took it to go, once eating it, I was pretty disappointed in the flavor. The only chunks of baklava were on top and I did not care for the edible flowers on top. The aesthetics of the restaurant was really nice, but overall disappointed with the lack of flavor of the baklava ice cream

Ponce City Market has some incredible restaurants and Bibi Eatery is certainly one of my favorites! I was shocked to see another Persian restaurant in Atlanta (we went to Rumi's Kitchen as well) and was amazed by the store's gorgeous aesthetic. I really appreciated their modern take on Persian food. We got the lamb and labneh sandwich with 1/2 side of fries. First of all, their rustic bread is simply delicious. The lamb was crispy and flavorful, and it paired so beautifully with the tartness of the barberries. I love pickled onions on anything, so that was just another added bonus. Also, I was shocked that we got 1/2 order of fries because the portion was very substantial. The spicy tahini was yummy for dipping. I would definitely come back to Bibi Eatery to try their koobideh. I'd also love to try their sister restaurant, Delbar!

We strolled through Ponce City Market on a Tuesday morning and enjoyed how calm and quiet it was compared to how packed it gets on the weekends. It allowed us the time to browse without feeling rushed and we stumbled upon Bibi Eatery. The menu is simple and straightforward. I got a Koobideh plate and it was delicious. The butter braised tomato sauce added another layer of flavor. Definitely recommend!

This was an unfortunate mistake. Located in the Ponce de Leon market it is a small establishment that promises Persian fair. My wife is Persian and Persian food is something that we eat often. We got the kabob from here and the hummus. I'll start by saying the hummus was ok... it was pretty blah but edible. The kabobs on the other hand looked great but turned out to pretty bad. My wife, my sons, and I could not eat them. They had some kind of strange spice in them that ruined the flavor! We make our own kabobs, my wife's family makes them as well, and we have eaten authentic kabob in many places... this was not anything flavored like any authentic kabob. Honestly it was quite off putting. The spice whatever it was, was just not right! The service was good the place looked clean and we were really looking forward to the food... but wow what an epic fail. We tossed two almost full plates of kabob and will not return here. It is a shame... but look at my reviews of other Persian eateries if you are looking for good Persian food.

The hanger steak and fries were incredible! The fries were crispy and packed with flavor, and the steak was perfectly marinated and juicy. The rice was also delicious, and everything paired together so well. I'm new to Persian food, but I know good flavor when I taste it!

Absolutely Incredible - Best Meal I've Had While Traveling!…read more I travel all over the country for work, and I can honestly say Delbar delivered one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment I sat down, my bartender Taz took exceptional care of me. I wasn't familiar with the menu, so I trusted her recommendations, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. Every single dish she chose was outstanding. I started with the fresh pita and hummus topped with the mushroom, shishito pepper, and egg addition. The pita was warm, fresh, and unlike anything I've had before. The hummus was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The chicken wings were phenomenal, perfectly grilled with incredible flavor and just the right amount of char. The highlight of the night was the lamb neck with the Polo Sefid. The lamb was unbelievably tender and flavorful, and paired with the saffron rice, it was one of the most memorable dishes I've ever eaten. What truly elevated the experience was Taz's service. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about the food. Her recommendations made the entire meal unforgettable. If I hadn't trusted her guidance, I would've missed out on an amazing culinary experience. Beyond the incredible food, Delbar has an atmosphere that is truly special. The entire restaurant feels warm, welcoming, and almost familial as if you're being welcomed into someone's home rather than simply dining out. The lighting is absolutely gorgeous, creating the perfect ambiance without feeling overly formal. The decor is tasteful and elegant, the bar area is stunning, and the dining room strikes a perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. Even the approach to the restaurant and the outdoor space are beautifully designed. Every detail feels intentional and contributes to an experience that is as memorable as the food itself. Delbar has officially become a must-visit anytime I'm in Atlanta. I'll absolutely be returning, and next time I'll be bringing family all the way from Reno, Nevada so they can experience it too. Thank you Taz! Thank you, Delbar, for an unforgettable evening!

There was indoor and outdoor seating and we chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful night. We had amazing service, great food, in a really cute neighborhood. We were especially impressed with the staff, and we had a member come out more than once to check with one of the people dining with us who had food allergies to ensure that how they were offering the food would be safe for her. It was also impressive that this restaurant was so busy on a Monday night. There were three of us dining, and we didn't even order any of the meats, and there was plenty of food for us. From the Mazzes, we had the Omani Shrimp, which had a great dipping sauce and the Beet Carpaccio. (they were very accommodating and put the whipped feta on the side). For the Spreads, we did the hummus with mushroom, shisito and egg, which was amazing and the labneh with pickled fennel on the top. It's served with taftoun bread which I would describe as a mix of a cracker and pita with sesame on top. We also enjoyed a raw vegetable dish with radish and the most delicious apple slices. Their heirloom tomato salad was beautifully presented and plentiful. They had a flight of condiments and we were able to sample zhoug, spicy tahina and torshi, which was a mixture of pickled vegetables. We ended with a pistachio lava cake with the most delicious cardamon gelato. Overall, we had an amazing meal in their beautiful outdoor space, and we thought the food was really reasonably priced. There's something for everyone on this menu whether you're vegetarian, vegan or a meat eater.

I ordered a simple Bombay martini and one of the specialty cocktails for my wife. The bartender made my martini in a shaker and I remember hearing him asking someone else to stir it for him. For the next ten minutes or more, the bartender proceeded to make drinks for the waiters, I remember him spilling out two drinks and remaking them while my martini continued diluting in the melting Ice. Ten minutes or more later, he pours my martini into more of a champagne coup glass than a martini glass, and I waited another five minutes or more for my wife to get her drink. When I tasted the upmartini, It tasted so diluted, just bad, almost commical to me. I just laughed to myself because i've tended bar for a living and that was about the worst martini i've ever had in my life. Either Rumi is watering down his booze or the ice melted so much that there was barely a gin taste in the glass. I think their gig is rather than give you a real martini level pour they dilute you with so much melted Ice that you think you're getting a full pour martini, when, in fact, what you're getting is half gin and half melted ice. And believe ME, you are charged as though it was a real martini. The place was pretty busy, so a lot of people must not have a clue... or just like busy places. If everybody says, this is such a great place, I guess it's gotta be. Unfortunately, that's just Atlanta-if it's popular everyone just assumes it's good or pretends it is. I don't do well with pretend. Next after being seated at the table, i tried to order wine least expensive wines (so overpriced)-they were out of all of the lower-end overpriced wines I tried to order. It just bugs me to overpay so much for bottles of table wine. They're barely twenty dollars charging, 60-80 for them. But of course, ten minutes after I ordered the wine, this happened twice, the waiter told me they were out of the ones i was trying to order ( everyone must have had the same idea). Oh well. Right before the table was served the main course, the waiter and manager came to tell me that they had run out of the dish I ordered. I ended up replacing it with their duck dish that I had never heard of before but what the hell I'll try it (maybe I deserve it, because I remember my father always told me you never ordered duck in a strange restaurant you don't know) Everyone else at the table of 8 were served their meals ten minutes before my plate arrived. i'm like, please go ahead and start without me. Then, the duck arrives. I mean, if you're such a Rumi's, fan, try the duck and tell me what you think. First of all, it was lukewarm for something that apparently had just been made. The lukewarm duck comes 'in" this purple sauce, I mean, it wasn't even swimming in the purple sauce-It was submerged in the purple sauce. The waiter, of course, later brought me the wrong type of rice than the one i oredered..That's okay they brought me a new one right away. I was really starving at the time, but if I hadn't been, I don't think I would have eaten any of the duck. Being submerged in a kind of a sickening, putple sweet sauce it just wasn't appetizing at all. Challenge: if you're a big Rumi's fan, go ahead and please try the duck, but you have to try it like I did- lukewarm temptation. Then tell me if you remain an unconditionalRumi's fan. The bread is delicious though. To their credit when I tried to order 2 glasses of red wine after my meal was served, they did give us the vin de table for free. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

The perfect balance. The food - just incredible. We all got something different and I got to taste each one. The Chicken Barg Kabob was everyone's favorite. The Chicken kabob is VERY close though. I got the Soltani which was also amazing. The thing to do though is sub out the Zereshk Polo rice. You won't regret it. I got a little adventurous and ordered the Torshi - pickled vegetables. I'm not really into vegetables and I was a little worried when it showed up and didn't look very appealing to me - but it was SO good. Loved it. The staff were seemingly entertained that I liked it - apparently it's only Persian people that are into it, and they kind of laughed when I wanted to take the leftovers with me. My son liked it too though! And he's picky. We were getting ready to go when suddenly they brought an ice cream and wished me happy birthday. I think they heard my son wish me a happy birthday at dinner. Just really paying attention to detail. So this bright yellow Persian ice cream shows up. I've never had it. It is really different - like a cross between dinner and desert flavors. That doesn't sound good but trust me it's great. Again, my picky son loved it! It's got a saffron-pistachio-rose thing going on that actually really works! Much of this is probably very familiar to those who have enjoyed Persian food before. For our family it was a new and wonderful experience. I love this restaurant and DEFINITELY want to come back for Father's day. This is going to be my new special occasion spot.

Also made friends with the serving staff and they cherished their back in their country moments The food was a good proportion for all of us and we all enjoyed it very much. It was topped with whipped feta that was super airy. Stuffed branzino: the fish was perfectly charred and deboned which made it very easy to eat. Chicken harissa: this was our group's favorite dish of the night. It was perfectly spiced and had a nice kick to it. Sabzi polo: basmati rice topped with fried scallions. This goes perfectly well with the chicken and Bronzino. Pistachio lava cake: this was a delightful to an amazing meal. The cake has molten white chocolate filling and topped with cardamom ice cream. It was perfectly sweetened and not too heavy. This was the top meal of this trip!

Finally got the chance to try out Delbar!…read more We arrived early for our reservation, so we decided to sit at the bar while waiting. To hold us over, we ordered the hummus and Za'taar fries. The hummus came topped with fried chickpeas, which was such a nice addition-- I'd never had them prepared that way before, and the crunch added great texture. The fries had a nice cut and flavor, but they weren't as crispy as I'd hoped. I'd order the hummus again, though probably not the fries. Once we finished our appetizers, we were escorted to our table, which ended up being a pretty tight fit. We were seated at a two-person table between two larger groups of four, so it felt a bit cramped. Honestly, had we known the seating situation beforehand, we would've dined at the bar since it felt much more comfortable for dining and conversation. By that point, we were slightly full from the appetizers, so we decided to share just the Hanger Steak and the Polo Sefid. The steak smelled incredible and tasted just as good-- definitely a great choice! As for the rice, I may have gone in with high expectations after seeing so many pictures of it on social media, but for me, it was just decent. My boyfriend and I weren't huge fans of it since the grains kept getting stuck in our teeth. The service throughout the night was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was warm and welcoming. Our server, Lance, was attentive and helpful with recommendations, refills, and checking in on us. I also loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. From walking through the doors and sitting down, everything was pretty. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend checking out Delbar!

Looking for a cute, classy Turkish restaurant in the heart of Virginia Highlands. This is your…read morespot! I went for happy hour which I highly recommend. It's from 3-6pm Monday through Thursday (I believe). They have $6-8 cocktails and a variety of food in the $5-10 range. The food was all fantastic, as was our waiter. He constantly checked on us, kept the complimentary bread supplied, and gave great recs for both food and cocktails. I love a waiter who explains the menu so you know what you're getting into beforehand. As we were leaving, it was torrentially down-pouring and the host was so kind to let me borrow his umbrella to get to my car. It's rare to find this level of hospitality these days and it made my already great experience here even better.

Spots I would rather recommend for a nice night out are Delbar, Rumi's, and Yalda. My friends and I tried the Muhammara Dip, the Feta Cheese Rolls (reminiscent of spanakopita but no spinach and in roll form), the Truva Dumplings, and the Iskender Kebab. The Iskender Kebab and the Muhammara were the best of the bunch, but overall I think I was expecting more punch from the spices and greater nuance in the flavors of each dish. The thing I honestly enjoyed most was the complimentary bread and sun-dried tomato dip, which has gotten a number of shoutouts of Yelp already. I would come back to this spot to get a handful of appetizers, eat that bread, and hang out for a few hours. It does seem like the restaurant needs more staffing. Everyone we saw was very kind, but it took a long time to get a server's attention whenever we needed something.
