Garlic naan could've been a bit more garlicky but was very good texturally, nice and chewy. The parking garage entrance is right next door (to the right of the restaurant) and you can get validated inside. If you're getting takeout, they text you a link you have to prepay through before they start preparing the food which is a bit annoying, but I get it.

Besides, the achar was quite salty, so salty that I could swallow it only with tons of rice. There are not many Indian restaurants in Midtown Atlanta. Compared to Tabla, another Indian restuarant only ~0.5mi walk from this one, the dishes in Blue india have a larger portion size, especially for their curry and biriyani. I was able to make a same day reservation for 2 at 7pm. When we arrived I was so glad to see the bright yellow signs for Ghee. They provide clear insight into the garage to park in as well as the direction to proceed in to enter the restaurant. They offer 3 hours of FREE, yes FREE parking! To obtain free parking you can scan the QR code located at the host stand upon entry. When we walked in I immediately noticed the beautiful decor. The ambiance is romantic and modern with stunning Indian flair. The ambiance is a win. The host staff was friendly and seated us quickly. A staff came over to offer us water as soon as we sat down. Our wait staff followed behind the water service within 2-3 minutes of us being seated. Throughout the dining experience I appreciate the customer service of every staff member encountered. For restaurant week Ghee was offering a $50 option to try an appetizer, entree and dessert from a curated menu. We did opt to do this instead of the traditional 13 item tasting menu that costs $65 ( you can do this tasting on Monday for $50) . The main reason we opted out of this option is due to my friend being pescatarian. the traditional tasting menu includes both chicken and lamb. The wait staff did mention that there is a vegetarian tasting menu. I did not inquire about the cost for the vegetarian option. What we ordered off the restaurant week tasting menu: To start we had the yellowfin Tuna Bhel and the samosa Chaat. For an entree I had the chicken Tika Masala and my friend ordered the Turmeric Marinated Shrimp. The entrees are served with naan and rice. We both ordered the garlic naan. For dessert we tried both options, the warm Sticky Date Cale and the Gulab Jamun. Overall the food was fresh, flavorful and enjoyable. The only items we both were not fans of were the garlic manna and the Gulab Jamun. The garlic naan just did not taste like garlic. I also felt that it was undercooked. When we mentioned the naan lacked garlic flavor our server did offer to bring out a garlic butter that is put in the naan. It did not help the flavor. The gulab Jamun is like a small donut that has been soaked in rose water. The description sounds refreshing, but in reality- it is just too sweet. I was not able to finish this item. I would also like to add that while I enjoyed the chicken Tika Masala, it is not the best I have had. Overall I enjoyed this dinning experience, and will be back to try more items on the menu.
