This is a tough place to review. Is it better than your run of the mill fast casual? Yes. Tabla? Probably not. Interesting options? Yes. Michelin service? No Buzzy and Vibey. Yes. I made a reservation for 4 for a Friday dinner. When we arrived it took about 15 minutes for our table to be ready. No clear explanation and no comfortable waiting space. We kinda dodged people coming in or out the whole time. Also I was hungry. Reservations are a must and they currently open on a rolling 30 day window. Once we sat down it took 30 minutes for our bottle of wine to come out. Also I was thirsty. The restaurant has a price fixe menu $60 or so? Good sample of options but not may fun or unique items there. We opted to order shareable plates for the table like the duck, chicken masala, garlic naan, tuna tartare, corn, and samosas. The chicken and naan were the best bites. Everything was ok but I can't say there was anything I'd go back for here. My man concern is that for an Indian place the flavors lacked depth. Food tastes like it was quickly fired as opposed to stewing with love from grandma. Uber was a little lost. It's around the corner from Northside Tavern if you need a landmark.

Delicious food! Went on Monday when there is a slight discount on their prix fixe. Service needed work- they kept filling our glasses with tap water, although we had bought and were drinking sparkling water. Waiter spent the whole time chatting with the table behind us.

Came in for dinner last week and loved it. We made a reservation which I definitely recommend because it got crowded as the night went on. They have a happy hour menu that goes from 5-7 that has some food deals. We started with the pani puri, and for our entrees we got the lamb Hakka noodles and the chicken tikka masala plus naan of course. It was all delicious! Perfect amount to share between two people.

It is a branch of a Michelin guide restaurant in Florida. I had high expectations going in, unfortunately I was disappointed. I really wanted it to be an absolute success like other Michelin Indian restaurants, but ghee fell flat on the expectations. The ambience is nice and service was good. Drinks: gin and tonic, old fashion(garam masala). Gin and tonic- 7/10. Old fashion-4/10. Appetizer: Crispy broccoli- 7/10, farm taro fritters- 7/10. Entree: Saag Palak- 2/10 (was bitter?!) , channa masala -1/10(had rose water flavor?!), garlic naan- solid7/10. Dessert : date cake with ginger ice cream - 8/10. I mean, I don't recommend based on this experience.

I have been wanting to go to Ghee for the LONGEST time, so we finally made a reservation and went! It was me, my wife, and two of our friends who are also married. We made a reservation for 6 on a Thursday. HIGHLY recommend making a reservation ahead of time, because within 30 minutes, the place was PACKED. Me and my wife arrived a little earlier, so we sat at the bar to grab some drinks. We were surprised to find out they had a happy hour (food only) from 5PM - 7PM daily, so we grabbed two small appetizers beforehand. They have 11 things to choose from, so you're bound to find something you like. We got the pani puri and farm patra. They were smaller and the perfect portion size to get a little bite in before dinner. We also got some drinks too. I got the Jaipur Paloma and my wife got the Star Bazaar. I also got a Mo-Garita after my paloma too. The drinks were very tasty!! They were all so distinct. We eventually sat down at our table with our friends. Ghee does a tasting menu where you can get 5 appetizers, and 5 main dishes, PLUS two different naans AND rice AND 2 desserts. This was honestly perfect for us. It's priced at $65 per person, and you truly get A LOT of food. Everyone at the table has to participate to do the tasting menu, but you won't be disappointed! For each dish, we were all able to get a second portion, some of us even a third portion! There is literally so much food. They also have a vegetarian tasting menu too, but we did the regular one, since none of us are vegetarian. All of the food dishes taste incredibly authentic!! Everything has such a unique flavor profile, but you can still ultimately tell that there is an Indian backing to each and every dish. I added photos of all the food we got, but I will tell you some of my favorite dishes. The yellowfin tuna bhel, the turmeric marinated fish, and the green papaya salad were some of my favorites!! I am not normally a fan of papaya, but the salad was incredible! It was the perfect blend of sweet meets savory. It normally comes with peanuts, but I am allergic, so they left those out for me. Our server did ask when we sat down if there were any allergies, and we told her. The tuna bhel was interesting take on your usual ceviche type of dish. I've never seen this combo done before, and I was very impressed! The fish...incredible! I don't normally like seafood type of curries, but this one was SO GOOD. The fish was nice and buttery and the sauce it was cooked in, heavenly! If you can't tell by now, the food is INCREDIBLE. For dessert, you get the sticky date cake and the chai ice cream sandwiches. I am SUCKER for a cold dessert, and this was perfect! I got a warm AND cold dessert. Both of the desserts were so good, but I think I liked the sticky date cake more. Ghee is located in West Midtown, and luckily, it's attached to a parking garage. Ghee validates for 3 hours, which is perfect! The vibes inside are nice and fancy but not so fancy where you need like a blazer or anything. It's the perfect mesh of cozy meets casual meets elegance. the staff is all very friendly, from the hosts to the bartenders to the server. Our server, Tristan, was excellent! Very accommodating and friendly. I really enjoyed my visit at Ghee, and I truly look forward to coming back.

We trekked out from the burbs for date night and it was totally worth it. My favorite dishes of the night were the lamb hakka noodles which were the perfect amount of spicy. I also enjoyed the brie truffle naan that was accompanied by a sweet mango chutney. Be sure to order the blue truth cocktail which came with a scrumptious lychee. The farm patra appetizer is a fried fritter made out of taro leaves. Ghee does not serve authentic Indian food so you can't judge it for authenticity. But the inventive fusion style menu is not lacking in flavor. We ended our meal with the sticky date cake which was to die for. I will ask for an extra scoop of the ginger ice cream next time. If you have any room left after your meal, stop by The Salty for a donut.

Ok so...the location was slightly difficult to find when driving, but once you go around the block twice just to make sure the GPS isn't messing up, you should be locked in on the location. I recommend taking a Lift or Uber. The interior is very nice and gives intimate vibes, but.... It's not laid out that way. The seats are waaay too close to other dinners, to have any sort of private conversation, and thanks to all the glass, you hear everything and it can get loud. If they added dividers or a few booths it would make for a more intimate setting. The food was delicious, the Duck Biryani was great I'm not a fan of mint but I took the leap, and I couldn't taste it at all! The crispy Broccoli was really good, could have used some of the sauce it's tossed in on the side for dipping, and the Chicken Tandoori was just ok, it was very lite on the seasoning but the char was nice. The not so great things: The biggest let down for me was the lack of spice in all of the dishes, there wasn't any at all. Not even the Chicken Tandoori...come on . The Warm Sticky Date Cake , was ok the ginger ice cream was an mis for me though, and I love ginger...just not in icecream form. However! If you are like me and love spice and spicy food, I would recommend asking for a side of Mango Chili.

Ghee is a relatively new Indian restaurant in the Atlanta scene - located in West Midtown. It emanates a friendly, colorful vibe...both via the restaurant decor and the hues of the food. Our server was excellent. He knew the dishes relatively well and also was cognizant to consider any preferences or dietary constraints, along with recommendations for the food items and cocktails/mocktails. We did the 13 course tasting menu. At first, it didn't seem like each portion was that large. But it gradually adds up to the point where, halfway through the meal, I was starting to get reasonably full! Note that some of the dishes can be creamy, so that adds to the satiety. A few items we got were excellent as starters...enjoyed the papaya salad and the samosa chaat. I thought the crispy broccoli was way too fried/unhealthy, though I suppose that's part of the appeal for some. The entrees were decent...can't say that they tasted anything special...but certainly par for the course. The fish entree was pretty solid. The two dessert options were interesting. But wish they had more to consider. Overall, I do think it is worth checking out. The prix fixe was decent as a deal, though your money probably goes farther with a couple specified entrees/appetizers.

I was expecting a lot from this restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. The ambience is a great balance between modern feel and Indian heritage. The menu has the same theme. I love the panic puri presentation, such an iconic dish. My husband ordered a fusion dosage, with short ribs. I highly recommend the cheddar brie naan. The service was prompt and friendly. The servers are very knowledgeable, which is great for guests that are new to the cuisine. Overall, great experience!

this is a brand new restaurant in town, it's Indian food. It's very beautiful inside. Ambience is great, soft lighting. Service is stellar! Parking is validated at the garage right behind the area for approximately 2 to 3 hours. They have a nice drink menu and the drink I had was great. The mango lassi was also pretty good and unique. We got the potato Samosa, which was good. We also got the mushroom Momo which was really good! They were out of some beers and biryani, which is disappointing considering they've barely been open a week, but that's OK bc they were busy. We got the tandoori chicken, a little bit salty but moist and came out hot and good. We also got the chicken tikka, which was pretty good. The naan were delicious. The vegetable cook that was also good. We got the date cake with ginger ice cream which is a different flavor not super sweet and not bad. We also tried the ice cream sandwiches, which are also unique. Also a specific taste but not bad at all. Overall, flit's a wonderful day place, great place to meet up. Very beautiful. It is a little bit on the expensive side. fun addition to the city!

This restaurant came highly rated as its Michelin rated from Miami. I went with a friend for their weeknight dinner option. They have a great classy chic ambience and the servers are very attentive. They have a exotic Indian fusion menu for both drinks and food. The drinks had interesting ingredients like ghee and coconut but overall I thought the cocktails were very sweet. The food options are good for appetizers but the main course is pretty similar to what you might find in another Indian restaurant. We tried the Pani puri which was strictly average and spice peanuts which we had with our alcoholic drinks. The main course was Dal makhani and vegetable kofta with garlic naan and avocado bhatuura. Both dishes were okay an average and nothing exceptional to write home about but the bhatura was definitely different than I have had before so do give it a try. They validate parking in the same building so that's helpful for west midtown.

The price. I am not joking

I am not much of a review writer and lurk on this website before I try new restaurants but I logged in after years, reset my password to share my experience so no one else has to go through what I did. Firstly, this restaurant is advertised as a Michelin start restaurant. It is not. It is a pure lie. You will know within 2 minutes inside. The vibe is not only causal but the food isn't even authentic. It is Indian fusion. There is no Michelin star for causal fusion restaurants. We were seated with workers wearing jeans and tables with no tablecloth. Not an issue but the prices on the menu and their Michelin star claim, you would expect the opposite. Upon taking the order, the waiter said we have to order everything all at once. Not just apps and then main course but everything all at once. Weird but ok fine. We ordered the charred corn and the papaya salad for appetizers. Flavorless. Tasteless. I felt like there wasn't even salt in it. Our main course dishes were the chicken tikka masala, paneer jalfrezie, tandoori chicken, and 3 orders of naan along with their ghost pepper cheese naan. THIS IS WHERE IT GOT CRAZY! The chicken tikka masala and the paneer jalfrezie were the same dish. The same exact curry. One had chicken in it and other had paneer in it. Blasphemous. Even worse the paneer wasn't even paneer, it was cottage cheese. The naan wasn't naan. It was pita bread. We were shell shocked. We asked the waiter and he said they just heat the bread on the stove. Naan is made in the clay oven (tandoor). The waiter said they didn't have a clay oven. It gets crazier. The ghost pepper naan was 15 dollars! 15 dollars for naan that isn't even naan. I have been to Bungalow in nyc. I have been to gymkhana in London. These are fine, reputed, celebrity status restaurants but even they don't charge 15 bucks for naan. The tandoori chicken tasted like chicken my mom makes at home because you guessed it, they don't have a tandoor, they just put in the regular oven like she does. We had to go to another Indian restaurant the very next day just to erase our memory of this meal. The 3 of us paid 200 bucks for this meal and experience. It's one thing to sell makeshift food at cheap prices. It's one thing to sell a fine dining experience with fancy food at high prices. But you don't get to sell McDonalds food and service at the price of a 5 star steakhouse. This place was chipotle pretending to be Barcelona at Bone's prices. My mom never complains but I remember her saying "how can the charge so much when the silverware they are giving us is not even put on top of a napkin or a cloth, just put on top of bare table they cleaned with a rag before we got there". I then realized we didn't even have a cloth under our silverware for us to pick up and put on our legs while we ate. If there is one thing I learned through all of this is how fake social media is. I can't tell you the reels and tik toks I saw about how great this place was before I went. It's a shame that all you need today is marketing!

Chicken Tikka Masala, Brie & Truffle Naan, Garlic Naan...it was all divine!!
    Elizabeth C.

Great experience! We enjoyed everything we ate here and the drinks were really awesome too! We ordered potato samosas, beef dosa, chicken tikka masala, brie & truffle naan, and garlic naan. Everything tasted great and the brie naan was a special treat! We have eaten a lot of naan and that tops our list for sure. The service was extremely good and our server was super knowledgeable and helpful. The ambiance of this place gives luxury and comfort at the same time. We will definitely be back and can't wait to take friends here!

Though they are gracious enough to validate your parking, the service was at times good but at times slow and bad. One person was good at suggestions but the other person was really lazy.
