Great Greek food & great baklava! The owner is super nice too and the ambiance is casual!

Great local Mediterranean addition to the area! I am able to walk to this location and was excited to see it open. I ordered the spanakopita app, lamb gyro with fries and baklava. The price point here is great as this was all around $20 and could feed 2. Everything was freshly made to order. The lamb gyro is tasty, large and jam packed with meat. The pita was light and fluffy. I appreciate that Sinbad gives sides of tzatziki with most dishes as I added it to everything! The fries were crispy with a unique tangy, salty flavor. The spanakopita comes with 3 pieces and a sizeable side salad. I enjoyed the spanakopita and could have used even more filling. Lastly, the baklava was great! I'm used to more layers of phyllo but enjoyed this slightly different texture. The service was excellent and the cashier was very friendly. The store is super clean and inviting. I will definitely be back - hoping to try more!

Gyro platter and large hummus. Looks good, but tasted and texture not there.

Looking for a cute, classy Turkish restaurant in the heart of Virginia Highlands. This is your…read morespot! I went for happy hour which I highly recommend. It's from 3-6pm Monday through Thursday (I believe). They have $6-8 cocktails and a variety of food in the $5-10 range. The food was all fantastic, as was our waiter. He constantly checked on us, kept the complimentary bread supplied, and gave great recs for both food and cocktails. I love a waiter who explains the menu so you know what you're getting into beforehand. As we were leaving, it was torrentially down-pouring and the host was so kind to let me borrow his umbrella to get to my car. It's rare to find this level of hospitality these days and it made my already great experience here even better.

Spots I would rather recommend for a nice night out are Delbar, Rumi's, and Yalda. My friends and I tried the Muhammara Dip, the Feta Cheese Rolls (reminiscent of spanakopita but no spinach and in roll form), the Truva Dumplings, and the Iskender Kebab. The Iskender Kebab and the Muhammara were the best of the bunch, but overall I think I was expecting more punch from the spices and greater nuance in the flavors of each dish. The thing I honestly enjoyed most was the complimentary bread and sun-dried tomato dip, which has gotten a number of shoutouts of Yelp already. I would come back to this spot to get a handful of appetizers, eat that bread, and hang out for a few hours. It does seem like the restaurant needs more staffing. Everyone we saw was very kind, but it took a long time to get a server's attention whenever we needed something.

Absolutely Incredible - Best Meal I've Had While Traveling!…read more I travel all over the country for work, and I can honestly say Delbar delivered one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment I sat down, my bartender Taz took exceptional care of me. I wasn't familiar with the menu, so I trusted her recommendations, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. Every single dish she chose was outstanding. I started with the fresh pita and hummus topped with the mushroom, shishito pepper, and egg addition. The pita was warm, fresh, and unlike anything I've had before. The hummus was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The chicken wings were phenomenal, perfectly grilled with incredible flavor and just the right amount of char. The highlight of the night was the lamb neck with the Polo Sefid. The lamb was unbelievably tender and flavorful, and paired with the saffron rice, it was one of the most memorable dishes I've ever eaten. What truly elevated the experience was Taz's service. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about the food. Her recommendations made the entire meal unforgettable. If I hadn't trusted her guidance, I would've missed out on an amazing culinary experience. Beyond the incredible food, Delbar has an atmosphere that is truly special. The entire restaurant feels warm, welcoming, and almost familial as if you're being welcomed into someone's home rather than simply dining out. The lighting is absolutely gorgeous, creating the perfect ambiance without feeling overly formal. The decor is tasteful and elegant, the bar area is stunning, and the dining room strikes a perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. Even the approach to the restaurant and the outdoor space are beautifully designed. Every detail feels intentional and contributes to an experience that is as memorable as the food itself. Delbar has officially become a must-visit anytime I'm in Atlanta. I'll absolutely be returning, and next time I'll be bringing family all the way from Reno, Nevada so they can experience it too. Thank you Taz! Thank you, Delbar, for an unforgettable evening!

Let's start of with how beautifully embellished the restaurant is. It's a refined fusion of modern elegance & old-world Persian heritage, that celebrates Persian hospitality & culture. You're greeted by the hostess that radiates warmth and geniality. Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts. It also comes with side of freshly baked Persian flatbread. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Our favorite plates were the hummus [we paired with the mushroom add on], lamb chops, and the Adas Polo rice. Trust me get the Adas Polo rice, it absolutely mouthwatering. As for beverages there is a variety of curated cocktails that we tasted but my top pick had to be the Tehran Mule! As for desserts our favorite was the Persian ice cream sandwich, it has unique flavors with rose being one of them. So good! For parking they offer a combination of valet services and validated garage parking depending on which location you go. The dress code is business casual. It's a perfect place for any accession, I definitely am planning on coming back to try more dishes. Take my word and come check it out! Your taste buds will thank you!

Reservations were honored even though my party wasn't fully together yet, which I appreciated. I was seated by the patio window -- nice view, and honestly a relief since it was warm out. Service started on a slightly odd note: I asked for ice and was told the water was chilled, as if that answered the question. The Orange Umbrella cocktail was billed as a margarita but didn't really compare, and a large ice block took up most of the glass -- made me wonder how much actual drink I was getting. The promised blue salt rim never showed up either. The crudité tray, a nice touch, didn't arrive until 15-20 minutes in (we'd already ordered). The bread service was just flatbread and butter -- a hummus or spread alongside would've rounded it out better. A feta with black sesame seeds was a nice addition, though. Food-wise, the eggplant and beef stew was genuinely good -- tagine-like, reminded me of something I'd make at home. The saffron potato rice was solid too. Since it was a belated birthday meal, they brought out a complimentary date cake with preserved orange and a small scoop of vanilla ice cream -- tasted like gingerbread, perfectly fine. The one real friction point: when the check came, the waiter pushed back on splitting it by what each of us actually ordered and insisted on splitting down the middle instead. I gave in just to move on, but it left a slightly sour note at the end. Valet redeemed things a bit -- quick and easy getting the car back, tipped $3 there (so $6 total on parking). For comparison, Del Bar in Inman Park is still my favorite Persian spot in Atlanta -- better execution, and I believe they comp parking. Rumi's is worth a try if you're in the area, but the overbearing service moments held it back from being great. Food: 4/5 -- Eggplant and beef stew was a standout; rice was solid; date cake was a nice complimentary touch. Drinks: 2/5 -- Orange Umbrella didn't deliver on the margarita comparison, oversized ice displaced the liquid, and the promised salt rim never showed. Service: 2.5/5 -- Reservation flexibility was a plus, but the ice/water exchange and the check-splitting pushback were real missteps. Ambiance/Seating: 3.5/5 -- Good window seat, though findability and signage outside were a struggle. Value: 3/5 -- Parking add-on and drink quality made the price feel less justified than it should. Valet: 4.5/5 -- Smooth, fast, best part of the whole visit. Overall: 3.5/5

Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and wrapped in warm, fresh tortillas. No dryness, no shortcuts, just clean flavor that lets the grill speak for itself. You can tell the chicken wasn't rushed or drowned in sauce to hide mistakes. Now let's talk about the Adana mix grill. This is the kind of plate that makes the table go silent for a minute. Everything was cooked with intention. Smoky, tender, well-spiced meats that tasted like they came straight off an open flame, not a reheated pan. Portions were generous without being sloppy, and every bite held its own. The service was warm, attentive, and unpretentious. Staff actually checked in without hovering, knew the menu, and made solid recommendations. That alone puts Adana ahead of a lot of places. The ambiance ties it all together. Cozy but upscale, relaxed without feeling casual. Great lighting, clean space, and a vibe that works whether you're on a date, with family, or just treating yourself to a good meal. Adana isn't trying to be trendy. It's just focused on doing good food, good service, and good atmosphere consistently. And honestly, that's rare these days. Definitely a repeat visit.

My girlfriend has a very strict diet due to food sensitivities, so before ordering she specifically asked about the dough, bread, and flours used in the food. Unfortunately, instead of receiving details about the ingredients, she was simply told that she could eat it. Based on that information, she ordered the meal, but later had a reaction to the dough that was used. This was frustrating because the situation likely could have been avoided if we had been given accurate information about the ingredients from the beginning. We completely understand that not every restaurant can accommodate every dietary restriction, but being transparent about what is used in the food allows customers to make informed decisions for themselves. The food itself was good, which is why we're giving 3 stars, but the service on this particular issue left us disappointed. We hope the restaurant can do a better job of providing ingredient information when customers ask, especially for those with dietary restrictions or sensitivities.
