Ali Baba platter Fruit Salad Tabouli Three Beans Salad Hummus and Pita Ezme Salad and Pita

Soooo... I am sad to leave a 3* as no doubt the food is probably good. The problem is that you ruin the flavor of everything when all of the salads are piled on top of each other. I can't tell the tabouli from three bean or anything else. Unfortunately it's one of my favorites. I was looking forward to it, by the way. Everything is mixed together, except for fruit and hummus. The falafel hurts my feelings as it wants to be good but seems a lil over cooked and cold. I'm sorry. Please separate the salads into containers. Please!!!

I was looking for a legit Mediterranean restaurant and I found one. I was greeted and it was explained how to order. I decided on the gyro lamb salad. And the portion was HUGE. My side was humus and warm flat bread. I was going to leave but was drawn into the eating area. It looked like I was in another country. The decor was like being on vacation. I definitely recommend this as a get away lunch spot.

I believe I know my Medertanian food very well and I must tell you all..... Ali Baba is da bomb! Lol..... I got the Lamb Gyro combo with Medertanian pasta/ feta cheese & Greek salad! I got all of this for $16.00 plus tax. Chef Ahmet and Manager Jojo made a killer lunch for myself and had to get a box to take half of it home. Mmmmm- yummy!

An amazing hole-in-the-wall place with extraordinary vegetarian and veggie options. The $14 Mediterranean platter is absolutely massive. It comes with a pita, dolma, falafel, bean salad, tabouli, greens salad, ezme (a bell pepper / tomatoey sauce), hummus, baba ghanoush, and feta pasta salad. It is so big that 3 people could split it as a MEAL. Almost everything tasted yummy and flavorful and healthy. I wasn't a fan of the pasta salad but otherwise loved the humungous portions and variety of options. I would absolutely come back here again. The baklava (doesn't seem made in store) was very soggy and syrupy so would skip. The man at the counter was very kind and generous. Seating is in another room with comfortable pillows and benches. Very cozy.

I was in Atlanta for a couple days, staying near Little Five Points. Friday night I took a trip to the Mediterranean from Ali Baba. I picked up a large, delicious bowl of perfectly spiced and marinated lamb, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and feta in yellow rice from the restaurant. Huge pools of Babaganush and hummus were on the side to drop the lamb in. Combined, this was such a special, local dinner treat! And definitely large enough portions of deliciousness for at least two people! If you're local to Atlanta, this place should be on your order list on at least a monthly basis.

Killer little dive with challenging parking but the Falafel is LEGIT. Crispy outer shell and soft on the inside with nice mild leaning spices inside. The Hummus is coarse ground with intermittent whole chickpeas within. One of my fave Hummus so far in ATL. The lamb Gyros were delicious and fresh, not dry. Make no mistake, this is a dive, and you are served on Styrofoam plates with plastic ware, but the Food is the BOMB. Great for a quick dip for grub when you want it fast and ON POINT. GO for it !!!

The restaurant is easily accessible and very welcoming. We started with an arugula salad topped with roasted beets and walnuts, followed by stuffed grape leaves, falafel, and muhammarah dip. We also received bread and a dipping sauce with the order, which was fresh, warm, aromatic, and delicious. The entire meal was flavorful and satisfying. Even though I'm an omnivore, It would be easy to be a happy vegan if meals were as fantastic as this. Looking forward to return visits when we return to the area throughout the year.

Spots I would rather recommend for a nice night out are Delbar, Rumi's, and Yalda. My friends and I tried the Muhammara Dip, the Feta Cheese Rolls (reminiscent of spanakopita but no spinach and in roll form), the Truva Dumplings, and the Iskender Kebab. The Iskender Kebab and the Muhammara were the best of the bunch, but overall I think I was expecting more punch from the spices and greater nuance in the flavors of each dish. The thing I honestly enjoyed most was the complimentary bread and sun-dried tomato dip, which has gotten a number of shoutouts of Yelp already. I would come back to this spot to get a handful of appetizers, eat that bread, and hang out for a few hours. It does seem like the restaurant needs more staffing. Everyone we saw was very kind, but it took a long time to get a server's attention whenever we needed something.

There was indoor and outdoor seating and we chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful night. We had amazing service, great food, in a really cute neighborhood. We were especially impressed with the staff, and we had a member come out more than once to check with one of the people dining with us who had food allergies to ensure that how they were offering the food would be safe for her. It was also impressive that this restaurant was so busy on a Monday night. There were three of us dining, and we didn't even order any of the meats, and there was plenty of food for us. From the Mazzes, we had the Omani Shrimp, which had a great dipping sauce and the Beet Carpaccio. (they were very accommodating and put the whipped feta on the side). For the Spreads, we did the hummus with mushroom, shisito and egg, which was amazing and the labneh with pickled fennel on the top. It's served with taftoun bread which I would describe as a mix of a cracker and pita with sesame on top. We also enjoyed a raw vegetable dish with radish and the most delicious apple slices. Their heirloom tomato salad was beautifully presented and plentiful. They had a flight of condiments and we were able to sample zhoug, spicy tahina and torshi, which was a mixture of pickled vegetables. We ended with a pistachio lava cake with the most delicious cardamon gelato. Overall, we had an amazing meal in their beautiful outdoor space, and we thought the food was really reasonably priced. There's something for everyone on this menu whether you're vegetarian, vegan or a meat eater.

We were greeted by smiles and a welcoming team at the host table and I quickly appreciated the Mediterranean charm of the restaurant -- I felt like I could have been in Rick's Cafe Americain or the Blue Parrot! The dim lighting offered a great blend of intimacy and privacy, while still letting me see the people at my table and the food! And the food! My goodness, the food! We had a wonderful sampling of shared appetizers. The hummus and Dill labneh were solid and would have been deemed more than worthy by my Lebanese grandmother! Olives were a revelation, and were done in a preparation that included pomegranate which paired really well with the brine of the olives! The star of the first round, however, was the whole cauliflower, roasted and spiced. Without reservation, I can say it is the most I have ever enjoyed cauliflower - and I shall return for it again! I was already full by the time my falafel arrived for my main course. Falafel was exactly as it was supposed to be, and it was good. I ate it all, and then, a la Violet Beauregard upon leaving the chocolate factory, had to be rolled out of the restaurant! Our server and his food runners were all gems! The manager also came by to chat with us a couple of times. Great people at Delbar!

Everything was cooked with intention. Smoky, tender, well-spiced meats that tasted like they came straight off an open flame, not a reheated pan. Portions were generous without being sloppy, and every bite held its own. The service was warm, attentive, and unpretentious. Staff actually checked in without hovering, knew the menu, and made solid recommendations. That alone puts Adana ahead of a lot of places. The ambiance ties it all together. Cozy but upscale, relaxed without feeling casual. Great lighting, clean space, and a vibe that works whether you're on a date, with family, or just treating yourself to a good meal.
