We've tried this food stall 2-3 times with typically a good experience so maybe this time was simply a one off. We both had the hanger steak kabobs and unfortunately my steak was practically raw inside. It wasn't pink, it was a dark almost maroon color. The steak typically seems to be marinated before being grilled and quite tender however, not the case this time. The woman who took our order was nice as with our previous visits. Consistency is key for me especially with the numerous food options in the food hall. Again hopefully they were just having an off day. Three stars because my husband's steak was fine. read more

I had high expectations for Bibi and they didn't disappoint. They're located inside of Ponce City Market. Although small, it's decorated beautifully. They have the same owner as Delbar. I went on a weekday around lunch time and they weren't too busy. I ordered the koobideh kebab and rice plate. My total was a little under $20 without a drink. The kebab was very good and seasoned very well. The sauce that came with it was delicious too. The rice was very tasty and contained raisins and fried onions. It also came with a delicious side of pickled veggies. It was such a great lunch! The portions were generous in my opinion. The staff was welcoming as well. read more

Been to a lot of Persian spots over the country. The khobiedeh was old and not juicy. The tomato sauce they put on it was pretty mid and I wished it wasn't there. The rice had no salt. To be fair the yougart was good. Wished they had doogh and overall just overpriced for the amount of food/quality. Service was decent. This is my go to place when I want something fresh and and healthy while still being super tasty. I order online and then run inside Ponce to pick up. I always get the kale salad with salmon - the serving size is bigger if you do take away than eat there! The lubna is fresh with dill and olive oil. This quick lunch was absolutely remarkable. I feel like I will be constantly craving the Lamb and Labneh sandwich now. You can tell the overall composition and "bite" of the sandwich is thoroughly considered. The crispy braised lamb, pickled onions, and labneh sit perfectly in the crispy (not too crunchy) rustic bread. The bread itself is worthy of its own five star review. The side green salad was refreshing. The dressing was very citrus forward and not oily at all, so it really pulled together the fresh mixed greens and toppings well. The staff was really friendly and I enjoyed sitting in the small inside lounge. I'm not sure why other reviewers here are upset about the lack of space. I'm currently on a work trip and it's been hard to find something healthy and also delicious to eat, especially in the south since everything is super delicious but not necessarily good for you. I stumbled upon this place and definitely wanted to give it a try. It's definitely a cute little restaurant and the service was friendly. I was helped pretty quickly and got the koobideh kabob which was very good. They cook to order so it did taste fresh to me. I would have loved to just see a bit more veggies on my plate though. I LOVE Delbar so I had to try their sister restaurant Bibi at Ponce. I got the iced coconut chai which was pretty light and sweet. The chinjeh kebab ... immaculate as expected. Tender and well-seasoned prime beef sirloin is just unbeatable. Add in the charred tomatoes, yogurt, and torshi pickled veggies ... just so much flavor. I can't get enough. I love this place. We are huge fans of Delbar, and when I heard via email that they were opening a sister restaurant at Ponce city market, I made it a point to go and check it out! My cousin only eats Halal, and she was happy to find that the Chinjeh was halal. This was verified by the delbar/Bibi owner himself. We split a mushroom pide, which was simply amazing. My cousin was surprised at the amount of fried onions on top, but it really compliments the mushroom and cheese. Make sure you have this first, while it's fresh! I can't wait to try the other ones another time. The koobideh sandwich was out of this world. The barbari bread was soft and warm, and the literally everything about the sandwich just slapped. The kabobs were fresh and juicy. If I wasn't so excited to try other dishes, I'd probably get this again. My cousins chinjeh was really good, but she just had a hard time cutting up the meat pieces with the eco-friendly cutlery lol. It was such a great portion that we took the rest home. She also asked for a chili sauce and she got a really nice mint chutney. Whatever they're doing, this restaurant group knows good food. Now I just need to try delbar's brunch! read more

When I found out Delbar, my favorite mediterranean restaurant in Atlanta, was opening a sister restaurant in Ponce City Market, I had super high expectations. Bibi definitely met them. I will definitely be coming back to try some more options - this rating is specifically for the falafel sandwich. This place is SUPER cute looking and I absolutely love the parent restaurant Del Bar. The falafel sandwich was a good size - quite filling and full of flavors. Some good pickles in there. I was deciding between 3 and 4 starts for this sandwich. There are some fries in it that I think are spiced with za'atar - I am not sure I liked the addition of the fries though. It took away a sense of freshness from the sandwich and made it feel a little unhealthier than it could have been. It might be common to have fries in a falafel sandwich by default and I am just unaware. I also had the savory mint yogurt drink which I love. read more

Yep the lamb and labneh sandwich is the bomb. However, it is definitely messy and pricey at about $19+tax. The sandwich was almost over-wrapped with foil, and it took forever to get to it haha. This along with the fact that the bread was burnt and sauce being everywhere is the reason for the one star deduction. I would highly suggest changing the bread as even a pita would be better than the current burnt, hard, and chewy disaster that takes away from the lamb's meaty perfection. However, the meat was perfectly cooked. Comparing to the lamb sliders of next door neighbor, Botiwalla, I think the actual lamb here is authentic and better (not ground). Botiwalla would have the edge in not being messy, price and the bread/bun for the two lamb sliders (ground meat into a patty here though also has its own sit-down area). The other positive for Bibi is that the sandwich comes with the sauce and za'atar fries. Thus, this sister restaurant of Delbar has the edge when it comes to the lamb over the sister restaurant of Chai Pani, Botiwalla. read more

The skewers were bland - running on the hot sauce to mask the fact that it there is no fidelity to authentic. Persian food doesn't need hot sauce to taste good.
