I went on a day when they had half off wings, and they were soooo good! I got wings and a side of plantains. Upset that the side order of plantains only gives you 4. I also got a water, but their water didn't taste good. This is such a cute little spot on the Beltline. I love the open patio. Friendly staff.

Food was great, had the lobster roll on a brioche hot dog bun with fries, carribbean jerk wings and plantain. Fries were seasoned well, lobster was really good, they give you a healthy portion. Chicken was falling off the bone after the first bite. Service was excellent from the food runner, who brought our food out to the management staff who checked on us and took our empty trays. Vibes on lively, we sat outside, they had music playing, people were coming and going.

Perfect place on the beltline to grab some drinks. The bartenders were SO nice and SO fun. The drinks are definitely on the sweet side, but the frozen options are perfect for a hot day in Atlanta! They have a good size indoor space and lots of outdoor seating on picnic tables as well. We had a group of 10 and it was perfect.

Lobster roll was really good (yes I had them warm mine) and they gave an extra side of warm butter. I will definitely be back to order again. Service was amazing and I have no complaints!

Sadly underwhelmed by our first visit to Chiringa, although I understand they are still new and things are likely being worked out. This area on the beltline is great and there is ample outdoor seating which is perfect for the weather this time of year. Great layout. Service was a little bit of a mess. We were lined up to order at the registers but the staff kept calling people forward to order that weren't in the ordering line, so we were cut multiple times and ended up waiting about 20 minutes to order in a line that would've been 5 minutes or less anywhere else. Once we were seated, the wrong orders were brought over and part of it forgotten until we were nearly ready to leave. We started off with the chips and salsa which is 1) expensive for chips and salsa and 2) SO so bad and bland. Do not order this - tastes like they just put plain diced tomatoes in a bowl with nothing else, + chips were cold (not fresh, maybe from a bag?) and had no salt on them Highlight of this spot for me is that they have gluten free chicken fingers which is a rare find. They were fine and there were 5+ of them on the plate for $15. Their honey mustard is way too sour (?) to enjoy with chicken fingers, so order a different sauce for dipping (they have a ton of options here!) Otherwise, one person at our table had a stale bun on their chicken sandwich and some of the strawberries at the bottom of my seasonal fruit cup were actually rotten. Plantains were the highlight of the meal. Might return and give it another chance once they hopefully streamline some of the issues that come with opening, but not anytime soon.

This was a cute spot while walking the beltline. I ordered the shrimp tacos. I later found out they were spicy. I had to send them back and the young lady at the register was so kind and understanding. I settled for the shrimp basket. It was really good. I will be back

If you are gluten free or intolerant, you should check this place out! I've tried a few different things here, but the best part is that I can indulge in delicious fried foods that I normally don't get to enjoy at most other restaurants. My last visit, I tried the crab & shrimp fritters, which were a 12/10! Get a couple extra sauces, because they make them in house and each one is amazing! They also have a gluten free beer and their frozen margarita should not be overlooked. Location is also beautiful and they have a nice patio area on the belt line which is great for people watching or just to take a nice stroll before or after.

They have quickly become my favorite place to get Mexican food. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located on Buford Highway in a small shopping plaza. The lot is medium sized, but they are sharing it with a few other businesses, and depending on the night it could definitely be hard to find a spot so keep that in mind. Venue and Atmosphere The venue is decently sized with both booths and regular tables. There are beautiful paintings hung all over, and the decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a little part of Mexico. Atmosphere is super casual and comfortable. Food and drinks Now the menu here is massive. Take your time and prepare to be overwhelmed, because everything sounds amazing. Here's a breakdown of what we got each time. 1st visit - El Rey Del Taco Parrillada It's meant to be shared with two people, and comes with a pound of beef ribs, your choice of chicken or al pastor meat, six shrimp wrapped in bacon, with melted cheese and chorizo, plus tortillas and charro beans. It was just as delicious as it sounds. 2nd visit - Tacos The pastor con queso and the shrimp al pastor with cheese, onions, and al pastor sauce. You're welcome. 3rd visit - Fajitas Fajitas Texanas, with steak chicken and shrimp. There are 7 different combinations of sides that you can get. We got white rice, salad, and charro beans. This can also be shared, which my wife and I did. Speaking of the charro beans, they have the best beans I have ever had. For drinks I got the supreme regular mango margarita. My wife got strawberry. Both great. Service Food came out fast, but other than that the service was a little slow. Our waitress was nice, but it did seem that she forgot about us for a little while. The food was so good that I forgave it, plus at the end of the day I got everything I needed. Verdict If you're looking for amazing food and drinks, this is absolutely the place to get it. It just might end up being your favorite too! Until next time!

It was a little pricey at $14 for 3 small-ish tacos, but each taco was packed with meat. I also got a taco de la abuela with pastor meat. For their street tacos, they have normal street tacos for $3.25, or for $0.25 more you can get the same taco with a handmade tortilla (aka taco de la abuela). I didn't try a normal taco, so not sure if there's a notable difference in the tortilla, but I thought the pastor taco was solid as well. I felt like perhaps it was lacking a little in flavor? But I do appreciate the amount of meat that's given. The slices of pineapple are nice as well - very authentic. Throughout my dining experience, most customers were picking up/taking orders to go. The restaurant is kept clean and there's a serve yourself salsa bar. I'm glad that I've found a good taco spot nearby! We waited only a few minutes and was able to navigate the small lot to get a spot. There is a designated window for pre-orders and walk-ups have a separate line. It wasn't that long when we were there, but was out the door when we left. Ordering was easy as we got a chance to preview the paper menu, and we were given a card to place on our table once we found it. There was plenty of seating options despite the full lot, but it was nice out so a lot of people were out on the patio with views of the busy intersection. The decor was modern and airy. We checked out the salsa bar while we waited for our appetizer and I found the jalapeno roasted garlic, which was spicy and amazing!! Our appetizer was the con queso and I added chorizo, which I highly recommend. It was plenty for our party of 4 and they'll give you more chips if you need them for the amount of dip you get, just ask. I got one each of the steak, chicken, and carnitas tacos on corn tortillas. The steak was my favorite and I loved that you could taste the smoke in each of the meats with each bite. The grapefruit marg was strong! We were in and out in well under an hour.

I got the beef Birria, steak Birria, and barbacoa tacos. The consommé itself was a little watery and tomato-y, but the tacos themselves were of decent quality and flavor. The beef Birria was better IMO than the steak, which was a little chewier. The barbacoa was definitely hands down my favorite - out of them it was the most flavorful and tender. The salsas they gave on the side were good too - spicy, tangy. The seating in the store is very limited (only a few tables, not well spaced out), large groups would be hard to accommodate.

I believe the meats here are halal. The crust of both the taco and quesadilla were crispy and had a nice cheese crunch. But trying other birria spots, these were okay. Good but nothing that would wow. The consome dip was actually pretty watered down. I know places make them differently as I've had versions with meat bits in them and another with rice. But their version was just watered down. The shrimp ratio was pretty sad. The beef is actually more bang for your buck. Though I didn't truly count the shrimps, there were about 3 or 4 of those baby shrimps. They didn't look nor tasted like they were doused in flavor. The shrimp was just so so. Sort of bland in taste imo. The beef had a nice kick of flavor. There was a good amount of beef to my surprise. Another friend's beef taco version looked like it was stuffed with meat as well. There was just ample seasoning and flavor with the beef. Psst. If you're thinking x3 tacos vs x1 whole quesadilla, go with the quesadilla. You're sort of getting another piece since the quesadilla is cut into four quadrants versus just 3 tacos. Though it's a different form on presentation, you're going to be getting more for the same exact price.
