As many times as I've been to Osha, I never noticed this location, and honestly, I'm not disappointed that this hidden gem finally revealed itself. I had the Grilled Octopus, which was a little chewy, but the chimichurri was the perfect bright, herby pairing. The shrimp tacos were great with the avocado ranch, though I felt like they were missing a little something--maybe a crumble cheese? Still thinking about it. The queso came with charred jalapeños, giving that gooey goodness the perfect kick. The churros were a fun surprise. Instead of the usual cinnamon‑sugar coating, they were dusted with powdered sugar and served with chocolate sauce. They were bite‑sized too, which somehow made indulging on my cheat day feel a little less guilty. And Summer--she was so sweet and attentive. We really enjoyed her energy. The ambiance is spacious and they had the doors and windows opened and there was a lot of humidity. Botica is a cute and airy Mexican Bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors there is a large bar in the center where lots of patrons hang out, as well as tables for group dining. Outside on their covered veranda are more tables for group dining. They have amazing drinks. Try the frozen peach margarita! Came here on a Tuesday night for a tequila event and had a great time. The restaurant was full of life with beautiful restaurant patrons walking in the same time I did. There looked to be a birthday celebration also in addition to the event I attended. But no worries, the restaurant is spacious so it never felt crowded. I've found my new favorite happy hour spot! Seriously though, Botica has free parking (validated for 3 hours) which is rare in Buckhead these days. I've been here three times, and after three relaxing evenings on their beautiful patio, I owe them a 5-star review. They've got $5 margaritas and sangria everyday weekday from 4-7, but don't let the price fool you, these drinks are strong and delicious. The wings and taquitos are $5 as well, however the wings only come 2 per portion so if you're hungry, go ahead and get the full-sized portion. The ceviche is some of the best you'll find in ATL; it's not happy hour priced but it's worth the weekday splurge. $5 mimosas yes, please. Pork belly taco and lamb taco was delicious. They are street tacos, so get at least 2. We got the chips and queso. It was good, but being from Texas we were expecting like rotel in it or something, but it was just cheese. You do have the option of adding meat. My daughter got the breakfast tacos. She said they were good. My other daughter got the enchiladas and really enjoyed them. We went during brunch, but the entire menu was also available. Our waitress was really sweet, but she brought us 5 plates and 4 of the 5 were dirty. They quickly fixed that. The patio is nice and they have fans. I would recommend them. Botica replaced Watershed (one of my old faves UGH) but I was still excited to see what Botica was all about. We made reservations at Botica for my bestie's birthday dinner and even though it was a Tuesday night, the parking deck was POPPING like I don't know why there were so many people out and about. We witnessed a fender bender in the super tight parking deck. Luckily we weren't a part of that mess and headed toward the restaurant entrance. Parking is validated once you park in the attached deck when you enter your license on the iPad at the hostess stand. It's a big ole party when you arrive - even on a Tuesday night. Back in 2022, the crispy fish tacos were $2 each so of course we ordered one per person, along with tasty tapas and apps, including the patatas bravas, the wagu carpaccio, the Spanish grilled octopus and the tuna crudo. My absolute FAVORITE bite was the crispy Diablo wings - super spicy but tasted great. And you know it's not a birthday without green tea shots - only $10 a piece phew. Went for happy hour as a first timer and this place is pretty good. They offer free 3hr parking, and a decent HH. For me, the eggplant empanadas were bomb. They only give you one cut in half but I had at least 2 or 3 of them. Jordan the bartender was A1 and made the best drinks that night. Nice and strong. All HH items are $5 but be careful, it can add up quickly. I wasn't impressed with their quesadillas, unfortunately. For starters, the beans are inside of the quesadilla, not on the side with the rice. BLASPHEMY! Also, as you can see in the picture, not much holding it together. I've been to Botica one other time and the experience was mid but this time was a lot better! Ordered the salmon quesadilla as my entree and it's was actually very good! I feel like salmon is a hard clncept for restaurants to master cause it's either not seasoned enough or overly seasoned but this was a great balance. It was a bit oily like noticeably oily but if you give your diet a break for the day you can ignore it The Mexican rice and the black beans were very nice as well! Not your typical yellow rice but the rice was seasoned with a little bit of spiciness to it. I was a fan! Highly suggest ordering the coconut mojito as a drink. Some other people at the table had the pineapple and said they weren't a fan but I loved the coconut mojito. The table had great remarks about aperol spritz froze as well! Pricing was a bit pricier than expected for a Mexican restaurant -- 20% gratuity is added to all checks and there is a liquor tax so it does add up. My bill with just an entree and a drink was $47 so with appetizers and things like that it'll take up. So this spot is a pretty good happy hour joint. The happy hour menu has several appetizers for $5, as well as mojitos, margaritas, mimosas, and sangria's. I tried the meatballs, and they were good. I also tried the Diablo wings. They were kinda hot but not overly hot so if you want something with good flavor,they were a good choice. Just to note, the happy hour is small portions. So don't think you are getting a full plate of wings for $5. You get 2 items (oysters, empanadas, wings, meatballs). So this can really run the check up if you are not careful. This isn't a bad thing, necessarily, just a warning before you start ordering 4 of everything on the menu lol. The margaritas were pretty decent. They have some flavor options as well, if you wanted to try something other than a typical lime flavor. The waitress was pretty cool. The service was cool overall though. When it came to the bill they did try to get over a little because of some overcharges, but the waitress did try to make it right so I do give credit for that. Indoor and outdoor seating is good here, depending on the weather. The outdoor seating is right on Peachtree road so if you are into people watching, then this is pretty clutch. Parking is in a structure, but they validate for up to 3 hours. You just have to put your plate number in the system, so that makes it super easy. Overall the happy hour was solid. This is in my top 10 of restaurants and I've been coming here for at least 5 years now and I literally order the same things all the time, every time. Tuna Crudo is the first thing. It's is so yummy. Flash grilled Ahi Tuna w Fresh Jalepeno Slice on top, with a Truffle Oil Crème and Served w Guacamole in the Center w Plantain Chips!!! So freakin good. I usually get some shots since they have a really extensive tequila menu and a Blood Orange Margarita. Then second fave is the Salmon entree, it's Salmon w chimichurri and spinach and grilled corn and arugula! Again this is a must for me every time. I've been here once before but wanted to try the brunch this time. I'm glad I did because it was worth it. Parking is in a garage behind the restaurant but it can fill up fast. After haven't brunch my friend and I stopped over Botica for drinks. We were seated right away and the bar was filled crowded with people watching college football so it was VERY LOUD. It didn't bother us though so it was fine and quite entertaining when the team won. Our waiter was attentive and I started off with a Mexican mule and that took me a little bit to finish. I believe my friend ordered the Botica and I don't think he enjoyed it as much. I asked if they knew how to make a French 75 and they did. Update: I came back a month after coming here for the first time because I was dying to come back and try something new, and I'm so glad I did!! I went on a Wednesday so of course I had to try their paella (note: you can only order the paella on Wednesday after 3pm, and it is $30), and it was one of the best I've ever had, which was surprising since I've had plenty homemade ones! There were mussels, shrimp, clam, other delicious seafood, and even little bites of well-seasoned chicken! Also, since it is Women's History Month our server gave my friend and I complimentary champagne and shots. This is such a cute and colorful place; walking in instantly puts you in an upbeat mood. I went on a Saturday afternoon and the server gave us both a brunch menu and a regular menu. Everything sounded so good so it took some time to choose and some of us ordered multiple dishes so we could share. For drinks, I started with a CoCo. This is such a refreshing drink thanks to the cucumber/coconut combination. It's reminiscent of a day on the beach. With that side, it's a little light on the alcohol. It takes more like a really refreshing mocktail. Still a good drink but I ended up switching to a Jack and Ginger Beer. Now, for food: Halibut Ceviche: This may be one of the best ceviches I've ever had. The halibut tastes fresh, it had great texture (firm but not dry) and I lived the amount of acidity this ceviche had. It may be too much for some but if you like a lot of acid, you'll love this. Lamb Birria taco: The flavor wasn't bad but the tortilla was soggy and started to fall apart before I could even pick it up. Also, it could use another scoop or two of lamb. It's not much meat on the taco. Also, I thought birria tacos were supposed to be dunked. This was my first time but I think I've always seen them dunked. I only received a tiny shot of jus with this taco. Chicken shawarma: Sooo good! It reminded me of the chicken shawarma wraps I used to get from a place back home. Both were good but neither were exceptional. So why the 3 stars? The prices. Steak and eggs plus the taco came out to $50, I get it steak is expensive but if it's going to be that expensive at least make it stand out from the rest. I was seated in the back and service took a while to get to me but they have a lot of tvs to keep you entertained. The taco was decent enough to get again but at the prices I'd be hesitant to go back for the mediocrity. How on earth does this place have 4 stars?? This is a two star place and thats being a bit too nice. Spanish and Mexican is not a usual fusion and there's a huge reason. Ok so let's start with ambiance. Logo and first look at the place, it has a Mexican restaurant vibe and that's why we chose it. I'm all about my hispanic vibes all day everyday and even happier when some reggaeton is playing. The style of the restaurant from seating to drapes doesn't match at all. Extremely awkward and then you have huge tv's in your face. I look at the menu to find out they have "Spanish" food. I ordered the gambas alajillo, a meat taco, and churros. The gambas were ridiculously disgusting, not fresh and not deveined. The shrimp came with the head on and I thought I would need to rip them off but no, those were just decorative. They were old re used shrimp heads that were severely discolored that's just how old they were. How deplorable!! The sauce it came in was pretty good but not traditional and I didn't taste much if garlic there. Then they had these two slices of bread pre dipped inside for you all sogged up. Zero class. There was NOTHING Spanish about this and I am insulted. Take the word Spanish out of this place because this is NOT they way we do it. The taco was just ok/edible and nothing I would ever come back for. The "churros", I thought for sure this part would be the saving grace. I couldn't believe it, NOT churros. It's fried dough shaped to appear like them but no way. And the chocolate, nasty. Been in ATL for years and this is the worst restaurant I've ever been too. To start, I have been to Botica with family and friends for brunch, dinner and just to watch a game. I will say their food is usually flavorful and drinks are good. The reason for 2 stars is a trip last week for Happy Hour specifically. Upon getting seated, we were instantly greeted with our server telling us HH is not worth it and the drinks on there just taste like sour mix. Additionally, the food was just 1/3 of the size and not worth it. I will say, as frustrating as that open comment was, he was not wrong. The drinks were not even good enough to finish and the food was incredibly small (2 chicken wings per order, 2 pieces of ahi tuna for the crudo, etc.). The kicker was the item we got off the menu were the nachos. We were asked if we wanted protein and we said no. Just said we are good with what comes on it. Upon getting our check, we notice an $8 charge for veggies bringing our nachos to $22. We asked what that was for and he said you asked for veggies, we did not. Now, I understand you add 20% to the check so the servers are building checks up but when it comes to convincing people to not buy off HH and adding hidden fees on items that were not ordered it becomes a little ridiculous and terrible experience. We were seated in the heated/covered patio which was nice on a cool rainy night. The music wasn't too loud and the vibe was cool. For the drinks: We had a pineapple mojito (I was never a fan of mojitos but would drink this), frozen pineapple margarita (amazing), and a Casamigo margarita with a splash of ginger beer (nice and strong how I like it).
