    2 Pieces Sopes

Located on Buford and probably some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! Highly highly recommend and I will defend be coming back!! Prices are also so reasonable for the amount of food they give you 5/5 food - I got steak tacos and an Al Pastor, loved them both! Make sure to specifically ask for cheese if you want it tho. Sopes were huge and so yummy! You can't go wrong 5/5 service - food came out quick! 5/5 vibes - it's giving authentic

Very good tacos. Had 4 tonight at 11pm. First ordered one carne asada and one barbacoa. Loved the tortillas and very nice fluffy/airy texture. Service was incredible. Asked for extra onions and out they came. Delicious. People working there are friendly. The senior cook passed by and I have him two thumbs up and ordered two more! This time a carne asada and pollo/chicken. The carne asada was my favorite. Perfectly grilled and diced in perfect sizes that had awesome texture and flavor. The green salsa was also eaten by the spoonful. Towards the end of my taco nirvana, I realized the salsa bottle wasnt allowing me to get the thickness out. Next time, ill try to unscrew the cap. Yum

Parking lot was extremely small but they were not really busy. Place is cozy on the inside. Waitress was extremely nice but did not speak English. The menus are in English and I know some Spanish. This was not a problem at all but wanted others to know. The pineapple juice was good. No pulp so it probably came from a can. I ordered the Large Nachos. It comes with chicken and steak. Everything tasted great and I love that they brought me 4 different salsas.

This place is super yummy. Being from California I immediately went on my taco journey and I must say that I'm super picky about how they're prepared. But this place feels like legit Mexico inside. I walked in there today and they had a whole mariachi band and an accordion player jamming to some classic Mexican folk songs lmbo. The tacos were very good and juicy. And we had some bomb queso. The service was fast and Overall it's another taco hit. Your welcome

So you come in and it's authentic Mexican Vibes all over the place. You will hear the Spanish music playing and you can automatically assume that it's going to be some good food! The tacos are fairly cheap, actually most of the mini was fairly cheap. Well let me not say cheap let me just say reasonable and cost efficient. You can definitely smell the food as soon as you walk in the door. They served a myriad of different beers that you can pick from as well. It's not a large spot, it says it can only hold about 90 people. But that's fine. The layout is a little bit pushed together but that's not a showstopper! I tried some chicken nachos with some chicken tacos, chorizo tacos, and steak tacos. All of it was hittin!! I would definitely come back!

Was craving a fresh, authentic Torta and La Pastorcita hit the spot. With flavorful ingredients and friendly service, La Pastorcita is a solid choice for Mexican food along Buford Hwy. The restaurant is fairly large, with plenty of seating for larger groups. Visited on a Monday night and seemed to be "the" spot for after work drinks and a bite to eat.

Unfortunately super dry food. It was recommended to me by a friend. :( the service was good but would not return.

I came here for lunch and it was pretty quiet maybe 3 other tables. This is a sit down restaurant with a nice amount of booths and tables with waiter service. I ordered the horchata and some tacos. Fish, Shrimp, Chicken and Steak. The tacos were decent nothing spectacular. Definitely traditional Mexican tacos which I can appreciate. But I've had better, and for $3+ per taco I've had tacos with fresher ingredients. I'm not in a rush to go back but it's an option in the area.

I have been here before they change the menu. It of course has gone up as other places have gone up in price. I sat in the front area and the seats definitely were overdue for cushioning/repair. It was very uncomfortable to sit on! I don't remember them being this uncomfortable before when I sat on them! The food is still good. But the quantity of food has gone down. I ordered the Carne Asada. I used to get two Steak strips I only got one , although still very tasty. I also ordered the Torta Toluquena. Which is a sandwich with tasty combination of chorizo and roasted pork and other ingredients. The service is very very slow so if you have lots of time on your hand this place is for you! They do speak English but prefer to speak Mexican/Spanish.

Really no reason not to give 5 stars. Like others have said, there's very little English spoken here which makes things even better. The Carne a Tampiquena was great. The steak was quite flavorful, as were the beans and enchiladas. Great place.

Food was excellent, with very good service. Authentic Mexican at it's best. Restaurant was nothing fancy, more like a neighborhood hangout.

Fives across the board…read more Casi Cielo is incredible. The space is warm and beautiful without trying too hard, and the crowd was hip and well dressed. Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Wanted to love it…read more The vibes are there, the staff is genuinely lovely, and there's real potential here, we just had a bit of an adventure getting through the meal. We had someone in our party with a gluten allergy, and our sweet server was doing his absolute best, bless. We were steered away from the tostadas as a starter due to gluten concerns, so we pivoted to guac...which then arrived with a gluten-free tostada. So the tostadas would have been totally fine! Then a good while after we'd all ordered, she was told her entrée had gluten and needed to be changed. She reordered, and almost immediately, the rest of the table's food came out. So we were left choosing between eating without her or letting everything go cold. And the plantains she'd reordered around, because she'd been told they couldn't be made gluten-free? Turns out they absolutely can be. Just miss after miss there. The spicy margarita was more of a margarita that once passed a jalapeño on the street. I asked for extra jalapeño juice and they were happy to help, but without the seeds and ribs it just couldn't deliver on the heat. I'd skip the margs next visit. This just wasn't quite the relaxed easy dinner we'd hoped for, and the price point feels like it's a step ahead of where the experience currently lands. But I'm rooting for them to get there!

I came with a large group around 12:30pm and ordered off of the lunch menu, but for some reason was the only person at the table that was charged for a dinner plate and received a dinner portion. I ordered the cauliflower tacos and paid $40. I didn't get full from the tacos, but I stopped eating them because they weren't very appetizing. The cauliflower was very crunchy, lacked seasoning, and didn't really go well with the taco. Their bottomless chips and salsa were great though. The chips are so light and have the perfect crunch. The only issue is that since we had such a large group, the chips were finished about 10 minutes after we sat down and were never refilled, so we all kinda sat picking at the crumbs. While I didn't order the salad, many people that I was with did and it looked good. I am unsure of our servers name, but she was nice. She did fine for our 10 person table; She forgot to grab different drinks and refills but overall she was good, very friendly. We were sat outside, which half of us didn't know there as outdoor seating, but I would totally recommend. The weather was great, it wasn't loud nor crowded, and there weren't many bugs or anything. Overall, the food seems good, I just wouldn't recommend that a vegetarian or vegan goes here due to the very limited options.
