They have a large bar with seating, some high top seating facing the window for singles and also 6 small tables/booths that fit 2-4 people. Not good for large groups. SERVICE (5/5): It was pretty empty when I came, they tell you to seat yourself. Was immediately greeted for drinks, ordered quickly and food came out as it was ready. FOOD (4/5): Be sure to check what they're serving that night because they only have ONE protein option each day. Fridays & Saturdays are for prime rib! The menu itself is small. In addition to the proteins they have a few small hot & cold dishes. Everything was good, but the endive salad seemed ordinary. Everything else was AMAZING to me. $14 ENDIVE SALAD: was good, just plain. Feels like something I could make at home easily. Would pass on this. $14 BROCCOLINI: AMAZING! Dressed with hollandaise sauce & crispy garlic. Get this! $10 POMMES ALLIGOT: delicious! Whoopsies is my jam. I love the ever changing menu, I love that there's always a cocktail / dish / sandwich of the night. Service can be dependent on who is there but take the time to ask how someone's day is going and get to know them, it makes a real difference. Such an amazing experience!! I came here for dinner with a friend. I love the vibes of the place as soon as we walked in. It's small but very cozy and moody. I also love a rotating menu! We came on a Monday which was crispy chicken thighs day. We also got some wings and asparagus as appetizers and sides. I also had a wonderful cocktail. Our server Nicole was super friendly and helpful as well. For dessert, we ended up having a slice of pecan pie which was SO FREAKING GOOD. Hands down one of the best pies I've ever had. We enjoy stopping at Whoopsies for drinks and food, but it is a little dangerous since we live within walking distance. Everyone here is kind and helpful. It is a small, quirky, dimly lit place with lovely plants that make you feel like you are in a different world. They have a variety of fantastically designed and tasty cocktails, along with a drink of the day that are held in the cutest mixed matched glassware. I love their cocktail program so much that I usually get the drink of the day. One thing you should know is that protein changes nightly so plan ahead and check out the menu to see which protein night you prefer. They do have amazing sides and hot or cold snacks, so on prime rib nights, I thoroughly enjoyed eating those since I do not eat prime rib. Oh, they also have a sandwich every day, and sometimes, that protein does not match the day's protein. One of the prime rib nights, I was delighted with a shrimp sandwich. I prefer to go on fish or chicken nights. On one of the fish nights, I enjoyed a fantastic halibut served, which was so well cooked that I could cut it with my fork. You'd never know it was there. Once inside, it looks like a disco-tech from the 1940s. This place is strange but has a cool vibe. They have a very limited menu. The food was good, but it ended up being fairly pricey considering what we ordered. There's street parking available. There's a lot of homeless people in the area unfortunately. My fiance and I both liked it, but it isn't at the top of our list of places to go. read more

The ambience feels like a speak easy, very dark with a small and tight intimate feeling. When we went there was not an empty seat in the house on a Friday. I love the atmosphere here, while it was crowded it wasn't very loud. They have a very small and limited menu. As much as it feels like a speak easy, the cocktail menu and liquors are way too limited. There were only 4 cocktails on the menu and none of them seemed worth 15 dollars. We opted for a martini and when we asked for Titos they did not have it, and were only offered two other options. As for a bar it just lacks creativity and selection. The food was also underwhelming. We had the carrot dish, with mash potatoes, and prime rib. The most underwhelming were the carrots. They were undercooked, crunchy and not well seasoned. I loved what they added to it, a touch of mint, feta and honey but the carrots were far off. Cut in too big and haphazard chunks, it just was not executed well. The prime rib was a steal and we were wise to just order that between the two of us. It was an ordinary prime rib, but I felt well worth the value at 27 dollars. The best dish were the mash potatoes, gritty yet creamy with a well seasoned gravy. Bottom line the atmosphere is terrific but the food and drinks were underwhelming. I don't feel I'll go back when Ticonderoga Club has the same vibe but far better execution. read more

We came for dinner on a Friday night. I had the prime rib. My husband had the sandwich of the day, which was a po boy. The prime rib was quite good but the po boy was very dry. The entrees do not come with sides. Overall, the service did not match the price point. The service was slow and inattentive. The sandwich came out well after the prime rib, and the server was completely unapologetic. I might come back for cocktails, but not a meal. read more

Hip but unpretentious, Whoopsies has quickly shot to the top of my list of favorites in Atlanta. We stopped into this quirky spot on a Sunday evening for cocktails and literally found it hard to leave at the end of the night. The ambiance is dark, intimate, and comfortable, and its decorated to look vaguely retro 60's, but with a modern approach and a touch of humor. Service is friendly and low-key, and their menu features a mix of classics and cheeky specials, like electric blue cosmopolitans. We heard good things about this place and had decided to stop in for a few cocktails, we sat down at an empty booth and was immediately told we had to get up and move because those booths were being saved for larger parties, ok fine so we moved to a smaller table. We had 4 cocktails each and noticed as we were sitting there enjoying the drinks within a 2-3 hour window several 2 party patrons of other skin tones came in and sat in the booths and were not instructed to move like we were. This really didn't sit well with us. For that reason alone. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning. read more

Let's see where to start. Upon walking into the very small and and dimly looking dungeon like location. You are greeted by one of the servers that do not say anything unless they are greeted. The interior is somewhat meh, mixed between IKEA and whatever vintage secondhand store they could scrounge from. I eyed one of the middle booths, which looked a lot more comfortable than the two seater tables they had lined up on the right side. I asked for a booth after being directed to one of the side tables. We were told that the booths have to be for a party of three. I then noticed that all of the booths were taken up by only two people. Oddly enough we were the only non all white duo there. The drinks prepared by the owner/bartender were severely watered down, the gin and tonic tasted like soda water and the tequila soda was definitely the equivalent of drinking seven day old 1800 that's been sitting with the top off. I would say there's better places and if you want to support a small business, definitely shop around a little bit . It's cold / the airs moist and the drinks are subpar. While I was preparing my reservation for beetlecat the server approached and said "after 9, you can have that booth" no thanks, I'd like the cash out of this already empty on a Friday night establishment. read more

Wonderful little speakeasy with exceptional food. I'm not just saying that because of their recent Michelin award. The prime rib is incredible as is the crispy chicken. Used to be a great spot. I say used to be but really only a couple on months ago. We have been consistent regulars and man...it has just gotten worse and worse. Once we waited two hours for our food and left to go home without anything and eat a frozen pizza. With each visit the food quality and especially the service has gotten worse.
