Visited Atlanta this passed weekend and I've been following this spot for a while and loved their content and decided to give them a try. Its ordered the jambalaya egg rolls and the 8 piece bourbon st wings and when I made it back to the Airbnb ready to eat I was disappointed!! For one my wings were still RAW and the egg rolls seemed like they were sitting out all day. I reached out via insta and was told that the crew at that particular location is a new staff and still in training and they will let them know an that I can go back the next day for a free 8 piece but at that point I just wanted a refund because I was just disgusted. I was told that I could get a refund but nothing happened. I tried supporting not just a black owed business but since the business owners are from my city I thought I'd support my ppl but try them out at your own risk.

This food truck in ATL is delicious. You'll find it in a food truck park at this address. Cafe Bourbon ALWAYS has the longest line. I'd recommend downloading their app and ordering ahead. When you get there just tell them your name and they'll make your food. It's like skipping the line. The food is great. If it's Sunday, I highly recommend getting the chicken and beignets. Otherwise, any of the wing meals are great. I love upgrading to the bourbon ranch fries for $1. Come early if you want to eat here. And enjoy the other food trucks around while you're there!

Being from Louisiana I was SUPER excited to find a piece of home in Atlanta. I went in with zero expectations and honestly I was surprised. The flavors of the food was amazing and were unique, I must admit. Truthfully the service, the entire set up, the music.. everything was nice! I'm not really sure what they are doing with that space but I definitely see potential for that place to offer a lot more in the future! My only downfall about this place is that my wings were cooked just a little bit to hard. I felt as if they were cooked really fast causing them to burn rather than to cook because the inside of my meat was a little pink. Unfortunately I had to throw the rest of my food away but on a positive note I was perfectly fine the next day. But after reading other reviews and seeing other photos I definitely want to try the chicken and beignets disregarding my previous experience with their chicken just to give them one more shot.

So I'm all about New Orleans food so I had to give it a shot. Cafe Bourbon Street is a food truck so it's not a standard brick and mortar (at this location) so just keep that in mind. If you are going to try to go, make sure you download the app so that you can order your food and get it in a timely fashion. They run it as first come first serve so it gives you a better chance to get in and out as soon as possible. Service was good, I don't have any complaints. You're waiting around but everybody's nice and friendly who's taking your order. I ordered the food while I was on the freeway and by the time I got there it was just getting done and bagged so that worked out really well. Again, I would 101% suggest you download the app instead of getting it and waiting around. When I was there to work a lot of people there but I know that there could be quite a bit of people there giving the fact that I read some reviews on it. So you want to go ahead and make sure you do your due diligence. I went with the Cajun fried shrimp and the jambalaya egg roll. The Cajun fried shrimp was good, it could have used more seasoning but I understand that you want to make sure that you don't inundate somebody with seasonings because they may not like it and once you put it on you can't take it off. But if you're coming for New Orleans food, I want to hear and feel and taste that spice! But the shrimp was good. I actually did dip it in some cocktail sauce when I got home, just to help it alone but I would get it again though honestly. I don't really do beignets but I had to try it just because why not lol. If you like them, you will be satisfied I assume. They come with maybe three of them or so, Dusted and all the powdered sugar that looks like snowfall lol. They also have shrimp that is sauced in a sweet and spicy sauce kind of situation and now it's actually really good as well. These sauced up shrimp came dripping with sauce and had green onion garnished on them as well. Really good. I didn't need anything extra for them, like the casa sauce I use for the regular fried shrimp. Solid attempt! Next time I would probably consider getting that instead of the regular but I want to see what the regular tasted like first and foremost before I bitch it off into sauces! Now I've saved this for the last part of review, the jambalaya egg roll. This joint was a hit! It came in too long egg rolls couldn't have and it was drizzled in some beautiful spicy sauce. That situation right there was a winner! That could have been the meal and I would have been happy lol. Well I would have wanted more but you get the point lol! You can make out large rings of sausage, rice, everything you would find in jambalaya. That joint was bussin with flavor, that I didn't know I needed until that moment in time. When I go back, most likely so. The guy who was at the front of the truck was super nice and super friendly and very inviting. I would definitely like to go back for more. Now just as a precaution, it is a food truck so unless you eat it there some of the things may not hold up in the car ride home depending on how long it takes. For example the French fries were nothing special and I think that they suffered because of all the steam made them soggy. Now I will say there are people out in the parking lot in in the area of the food truck who didn't even wait to get home, they just start smashing the food in the car and at the seat they were sitting at. I understand why because it's going to be hot and fresh right off the gate! Either way, just want to let you know that consideration because fried food doesn't always hold up when it's putting a steam box so keep that in mind. But either way it goes, this was a win.

You are seriously missing out if you have not consumed the magical goodness from this establishment. We got there at noon, and they open at 1pm. I rather be first in line then have to watch everyone leave with food while I'm still waiting. Also, they only have chicken and beignets on Sundays so I wanted to make sure I got to get some before they ran out. Everyone in line was very friendly. It definitely made the time go by fast. The owners are extremely nice and the customer service is top notch. Ok, the food!!! I ordered the bourbon shrimp and fries, the chicken and beignets. Let me pause because my mouth is watering from thinking about it. The fries are flavorful and have just a hint of cajun spice. The shrimp is seasoned to the gods and then they put this sauce on it that takes you to New Orleans as soon as you take a bite. The chicken is fried to perfection and the beignets are so authentically good. I will definitely be back. If you are behind me, you may get mad because I may order $2000 worth of food so you would not get any!!

My girlfriend that lives in Georgia was taking me to the airport to pick up a relative who was flying in to hang with us for the weekend and we had some time to kill before her flight landed so we opted to grab a bit to eat. The plan was to go to a breakfast spot near the airport but the wait was close to two hours long so she told me about Cafe Bourbon St. She told me about how she tried their food previously based on their Instagram posts but because she lives close to an hour away, she tried the food when it was reheated and it just wasn't the same. Cafe Bourbon St is only opened on Fridays and Sundays from 1-6pm so on a Friday we arrived at 12:58pm and it was already a line coming outside of the area along the street. I just knew the food was going to be delicious. My family was due in at 1:55pm so I figured we had time to wait and get over to the cellphone lot before her plan landed but I was wrong. After waiting in line for 48 minutes to place an order I was committed. After placing my order I waited another 15 or so before my name was called to get my order. Thankfully it took my family some time to disembark the flight and get their bags from baggage claim so we had time to get to the cellphone lot and try the food. I will start off by saying the food was well worth the wait. I ordered the jambalaya egg rolls and Bourbon Shrimp Basket with Bourbon Fries and everything was very flavorful, filling, and with the money. I had enough to share with my family when they got in the car and their response was "this is a great way to be welcomed to Georgia"; "delicious food and personal pick up". I look forward to going back and trying something else on the menu. I definitely recommend this eatery.

Ever had something so good it almost brought tears to your eyes??? Well, that was my experience during a recent trip to Cafe Bourbon St. They're a food truck that serves New Orleans cuisine in Triton Yards on the west side of Atlanta. For now, they're only open on Friday's and Sunday's 1pm-6:30pm or until they sell out. Trust me, you definitely want to arrive early. A line formed around 12. (A whole hour before opening). I was the 10th person in line and didn't place my order until 1:15pm. I really had to practice patience! It was so hot outside and the food is cooked to order, so I had to wait again. We ordered the bourbon st. Shrimp basket with upgraded fries, jambalaya egg rolls and chicken & beignets. The flavors from the shrimp basket were explosive! Seriously, there's so much flavor going on from the bourbon sauce, seasoned fries and ranch. I wasn't sure what to expect from the jambalaya egg rolls, but they were delicious. My son said that his chicken and beignets were awesome. By the way, the chicken & beignets are only served on Sunday. I'm dreading having to wait in the line again, but I'm looking forward to returning. The staff was friendly and w

I love to support local businesses and this particular vendor I discovered through IG. A few tips to assist patrons on a smooth and easy ordering experience are below. 1.) Download the Cafe Bourbon St. App 2.) Place your order on said App 3.) Check in with the host upon arrival Keep in mind this is a food truck and the food is cooked to order. Expect your wait time to be at least 30 mins, but faster if you order on the app. There is ample parking and a food truck park with lots of seating so that you and your party can sit back, relax and enjoy the sun or the shade. If you want some time to pass by quickly, order a snowball and by the time you finish that, your wait time should be half way. I wouldn't recommend visiting the food truck if you're in a hurry because again there is a wait. The only suggestion I'd make to the the owners and host would to provide a wait expectation for your patrons so customers know what to expect after they place their orders. Other than the wait, the food was delicious and I'll continue to support this business when I'm in the area. I ordered a Shrimp Po Boy and Cajun fries. The shrimp was well seasoned and the Cajun sauce elevated the flavor of the sandwich and fries. The owners and host were friendly and the waiting area was clean and tidy.

Cafe Bourbon street is one of the best food trucks in town! I will definitely say order ahead because the line can get very long. Just make sure you check in on arriving. Parking on the side street or lot is best options. The food is worth any wait though and you can't go wrong with adding dollar for bourbon ranch fries. If jambalaya egg rolls are in stock make sure to get them trust me! Also their bourbon wing basket is a very solid choice and a go to when I can't decide. Be prepared to not want to share!

I came to this establishment because I saw that the ratings on Google were four stars out of five. As I pulled up I received great customer service and I was able to submit my order via iPad. I waited for my food for about 20 to 30 minutes. When I received my food, it looked best appealing , but it was disgusting. I had spent $55 and every single thing I ordered was horrible. The chicken wings were huge and the bourbon sauce tasted like regular barbecue sauce with a Touch Of honey. I didn't know if the wings were smoked or if they were supposed to be fried. The fries that came with my wings were soggy. It tasted more like the fries were baked. I also ordered the loaded fries. It was also terrible and was soaked in barbecue sauce or bourbon sauce. I am not sure. I also ordered the shrimp Po Boy. The shrimp had flavor, but the coding of the shrimp was soggy. The batter did not stick to the shrimp. That costed about $14 and it did not come with fries. It was definitely not worth $14. However, I did like that they used nice sized shrimp and they used enough shrimp to cover the bun. It may have been worth the $14 if it came with a side. I also ordered the original beignets and the cream cheese beignets. The dough was very thick and hard. It was so much dough. It lacked any flavor and there was no sweetness to the beignets. It should be hot and melt in your mouth. Definitely not worth the price. I mean, you only get 3. It was disgusting and I hate to say I literally spit it out. I would also like to add that everything I ordered wasn't hot. For me to have waited 30 minutes for my food, nothing was hot. I received all of my food and Styrofoam containers. Which means there should have been some type of heat damage to my Styrofoam containers. It was a disaster. I was upset and hated that I wasted my time and my money coming to this food truck. I'll never go back. Even with the points I earned. There was nothing New Orleans about it. Come to think of it. When you pull up to a food truck, you usually spell food cooking. I actually didn't notice any fragrance of food in the air. Maybe it was am off day for the cook. Nevertheless , I wouldn't recommend this place.

The food here was pretty good. There is one lady working and you get a side of rude for free. Man she was mean but I get it. It's hot and she's solo. Perhaps the new location is the better spot now but I won't be back to the food truck. That said, the food was worth a try.

Get there early! This food is worth it. My friends and I waited in line an hour and a half ( we were in the first 10 people there). I have heard so many good things about thhis place and they kept popping up on my Instagram so it was meant for me to go. They are only open on Fridays and Sundays. And Sunday is the only day you can get the chicken and beignets. So good. The beignets were a littLe more dense then I thought they would be but still good. Get the chicken and beignets if for nothing else other than too get the pecan praline sauce. The jambalaya egg rolls and the shrimp basket Try this place asap!!

If you're apprehensive about the wait, it's worth it. I had the beignets (first time having some), shrimp po boy, and bourbon fries. I'll definitely be back. I did try to order ahead of time but had a lot of issues with their app. No confirmation code was sent via email and now I'm locked out of registering due to my phone number being tied to the account but not verifying via email (maybe the email finally made it). At any rate you can't place an online order until an hour after they open. On to the food, I'll start with my fave, the bourbon fries. It honestly must be crack because these were some of the best fries I've ever had. All jokes aside, it was the perfect flavor combination of savory and sweet. despite all the saucing, fries were still fresh and crisp. The shrimp po boy was good, not the best. I liked how crispy the shrimp was and it's a very nice portion. The dressing lacked a bit of pizazz though and was a bit watery. Not as flavorful but like I said still good. Honestly may have just been hard to top the fries. Can't fully comment on the beignets seeing as they were my first but they were okay not dying over them but I did eat them all lol.

There's a lot directly behind them for parking, as well as I noticed parking on the side where people could park. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Triton Yards is family friendly. While there was a dj, the music was good and appropriate for all present. There is a green space out there with games for the kids like big jenga, as well as a fire pit for s'mores when the sun sets. They sell a s'mores kit for $3 which isn't bad. I also liked the fact that they have a drink shack with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Atlanta is better off for having food trucks (and this park, specifically). Despite the cloudy, on-and-off drizzly weather, the park had a good turnout of patrons between 7-9pm on a Thursday night. Thanks to those who braved the elements for our UYE (http://www.yelp.com/events/atlanta-atlanta-food-truck-park-uye). The food truck/food stand lineup was pretty good: Sweet Auburn BBQ Corn-a-Cue One Love Jerk Grill Metro City Dogs Lemonade Stand WOW! Food Truck Ibiza Bites Chay J's New Orleans Candies Rouxd Food Truck King of Pops Yum Yum Cupcake Verizon also had a stand. I've been following the park's official calendar (http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/calendar/) over the past month and noticed Thursday nights are the ideal weeknight (excluding Fridays) to go for the most trucks and the best selection. I suspect there might have been more trucks last night if it wasn't for the weather. I ended up trying a little bit of everything: Arepas (Venezuelan sliders) from WOW! Food Truck Beef brisket with Asian pear slaw taco from Sweet Auburn BBQ Goat cheese-stuffed fried green tomatoes from Ibiza Bites Creole pretzels and Creole popcorn from Chay J's I'll be posting reviews for each of those trucks in the next few days. If you come for dinner, I recommend coming on the early side as the food trucks only have a limited supply of items and do sell out. This leads some trucks to close early. I saw many menus with marked off items that had sold out for the day. Yum Yum Cupcakes shut down early because they sold out of their cupcakes for the day. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much seating the park had. I counted 16 large picnic tables in the main "dining" area, most with umbrellas. Each picnic table can seat up to about 8 people each. The picnic tables are located on a flat, paved surface. The food trucks are located in a large gravel lot. This lot has 4 communal standing tables and 2 additional picnic tables. So overall, this spot has quite a bit of seating, which is convenient. Also, plenty of trash cans and recycling bins to keep the grounds looking relatively clean. The park is family and dog-friendly. It can be a little loud because you're around all these big trucks and next to busy Howell Mill Rd. You can BYOB, so save money by bringing your own drinks. If you want water, I saw some trucks selling it for $1 per bottle. There is one restroom and it's a "Johnny on the Spot" porta-potty in the parking lot with portable sink outside so you can wash your hands. There is ample free parking behind the park. Turn onto Emery St, next to the Shell Station on Howell Mill, to find it. If you need more detailed directions, check out the park's FAQ here: http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/faqs/. The parking lot is old and filled with pot holes, so drive carefully. I saw someone puncture their car's tire by running over a broken-off metal sign post on the ground (she was trying to make too tight of a turn around the dining area). Note that every Wednesday and Friday night throughout the summer, the park will be playing movies for free. Also, from time to time, there is live music. On the weekends, there's a food market with rotating vendors and an artists market coming soon. Overall, I'm very happy with the Atlanta Food Truck Park and definitely plan on returning.

Here it was all about enjoying nice craft beers, specialty cocktails, local arts, crafts, and live music. It is free to attend. It was held in Grant Park which is a large public greenspace in Atlanta. It's address is 800 Cherokee Ave. It is just south of Oakland Cemetery. As with all public festivals in Atlanta, alternate transportation is recommended because parking is limited. Uber or Lyft are good ideas. So is biking, or walking in on the Beltline. I had a $25 gift card from Yelp which I won on Instagram. I redeemed it at the entrance at information center. Thanks to Jim how helped me at the desk. Thanks to Yelp in giving me an opportunity to explore this beautiful place. If you're craving something fresh, healthy, and delicious, you'll have to try some of their award-winning soba noodles at Island Noodles Atlanta. I love their unique style, taste and presentation. There were food purveyors from across the southeast. They had everything for vegetarians and carnivores alike. There were about 50+ trucks in the park. I would be back again next year.

Thanks, Grant Park Food-o-Rama! Several great things about this event - pre-sale tickets were only $5 (yes, there was a small admin fee), tickets were mobile, so I didn't need to waste paper, the trucks were not cash only - they operated as usually and had credit card capabilities. Also, they were well placed within the park and the lines were not out of control. By my estimation, there were probably about 40 food trucks - with about 7 or so being dessert trucks (who were placed together) and there was such a wide variety of trucks, it was very hard to decide what I wanted to get. From hot dogs, to lobster rolls (two lobster trucks, in fact), to filipino food, to french fries, to crepes, to cheesesteaks, to donuts and everything in between. We were lacking for nothing! There was live music, some vendor booths and plenty of park area to bring a blanket and sit and eat and enjoy the atmosphere. It was 9 hours of food, fun and more food. I cannot wait for this event next year - let's hope the weather is as amazing next hear as it was this year. Thanks, Grant Park Conservancy and Indie South Fair!

It's held at Taylor-Brawner Park off Atlanta Rd, which is a great location to spread out, have a mini picnic, and enjoy! The ambiance is family, community, and definitely giving summer! There's a playground for the kids, live music by local performers, and there are bathrooms with changing tables if you have littles that require them. It does get hot since this is Atlanta in the summer so prepare accordingly. The food trucks are mostly a variety yet there have been times when some of the trucks offered the same types of food (fries, tenders, burgers/sandwiches) which can be a buzz kill, so I would recommend going on the City of Smyrna government page on Facebook to see which trucks would be in attendance that day to avoid disappointment. There are some trucks that are there each Tuesday with the King of Pops being one of them. And they have vegetarian and vegan options as well. Ding ding! Most of the vendors accept cards so having a mix of cash and cards is better but not required. Again, I love it and so does my family since there's something for everyone to enjoy! Attend, you won't be disappointed!

I arrived around 6:45pm and had no problem finding parking. The event is well organized and there are staff that direct you to open parking spaces. You know this is not in the city because there is no fee to park!! You heard me correctly-- FREE PARKING!! The crowd was a great mix, families with kids, couples, friends and tons of fur babies! There is not really any specific organized activity, but be creative. Some people had hammocks set up, balls to play kick ball with and some were just sitting or standing around talking. It's all about what you make it There were a ton of food truck options. I was overwhelmed, but did finally decided to try the Blaxican Food truck. I ordered the collard green quesadilla. The greens were seasoned with turkey meat and had a hint of spiciness to them. I enjoyed every bite of my order! I also had the infamous sesame fries from another truck. I can't recall the name of that truck, but if you see sesame fries on the menu order them. They are only $4.00 and will worth each dollar! Of course I had to have desert. I tried the praline pecan pie from the New Orleans themed truck! Oh my gosh, it is divine!!! If you are up for being around people, eating good, enjoying the beautiful weather, this is the spot to go on a Tuesday evening!
