Needed a nearby spot for Sunday lunch with the family and Pappadeaux came in clutch per usual. We were seated fairly promptly. Service was great. The food is always consistently delicious. While the restaurant is always busy, seating near the window gives great views and a little feel of seclusion. Good time all around.

I'd give this location 3 stars overall. The food was good, but the wait time was the worst part of the experience. To be fair, we had a large party, so I can't completely blame the restaurant for that. The parking situation is also pretty crazy. There's basically one way in and one way out, and the lot is shared with Pappasito's Cantina, so it gets very congested when it's busy. Once we were seated, things went smoother. The service was solid, and our server did a good job managing a big table. I ordered the Crispy Salmon & Jumbo Crab with mashed potatoes, and the food came out hot and fresh. The salmon had a nice crisp on the outside and was tender inside, and the mashed potatoes were creamy and good. Overall the food was good and the experience was decent, but between the wait and the parking situation, it made the visit feel a little more hectic than expected. I'd probably come back, just maybe during a less busy time.

Worth the wait! Make sure you get a reservation. It's a loud, bustling, and efficient restaurant that serves Cajun cuisine. The blackened fish with red beans and rice was super delicious. Excellent service was attentive and friendly. And they give a wonderful 25% discount for military members with ID. Props!

Thank you to Tyler our waiter he was wonderful and attentive. It was our first time and he was knowledgeable about the menu and specials. Every dish that we ordered was hot, fresh and full of flavor. Definitely won't be the last time we come through, I just wish we had one where we live but it's definitely worth the drive

Everything was phenomenal. All of our dishes were seasoned well from the appetizers to the main dishes. The lemons drop from the bar was tasty. The restaurant was clean. They were very busy yet Our server was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back.

If you're planning to visit Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, definitely make a reservation -- this place stays busy. The crowd alone lets you know it's a popular spot, and I'd highly recommend booking ahead to avoid a long wait. We came here for a date night and had such a great experience. Considering how packed it was, the service was honestly impressive. The staff stayed attentive, checked in regularly, and kept things moving smoothly despite the volume of guests. Let's talk about that Swamp Thing -- wow. It's frozen, tastes amazing, and goes down way too easy... but don't be fooled. It's stronger than it looks! Definitely a drink you'll enjoy, just pace yourself. For food, I ordered the catfish filet with shrimp and rice & beans. The catfish was perfectly fried -- crispy on the outside, flaky and flavorful on the inside -- and paired so well with the tartar sauce. The shrimp were also well-seasoned and tasted great dipped in cocktail sauce. But the real highlight for me? The rice and beans. So flavorful and absolutely delicious -- I could've eaten a whole bowl of that alone. The only downside was that our food came out more lukewarm than hot, which was a little disappointing. However, the flavors were still on point and we genuinely enjoyed the meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend -- just make that reservation first!

For starters, if you've never been to this location like I hadn't, EXPECT A CRAZY WAIT (if you don't book ahead). Overall experience was great once we were seated. The server was attentive and made sure we knew what was available or running low with the big crowd. Food came out hot and plentiful. Ambiance wise, it's Pappadeaux. Slightly noisy but not obnoxious. Dimly lit with but not dark. The A/C was on snowflake mode though which was not necessary on this particular night. If I'm not "close enough" to a different location, I would visit again (wait time being the top factor).

I had heard so many good things from my friends about Pappadeaux over the years but why they didn't tell me the food was this GREAT is crazy to me! First off let me say that Kiara(I hope that's how it's spelled) was absolutely fantastic! I thought she was the bar manager the way she moving about between taking care of the bar patrons and assisting with making drinks for the servers. She was exceptional!!!! The atmosphere was great, also! Although it was packed it didn't sound like it! The gumbo was to die for!!! I wish I had gotten a bowl instead of a cup Although I didn't need it. The seafood pasta was outstanding!!!!! The only thing I didn't like was the $71 for two double shots of Woodford. Please bring one to California!

Texas Redfish Pontchrtrain, cheese grits, garlic sautéed spinach. I get this entree every time I'm here!!

I finally tried this new lunch menu entree from Pappadeaux yesterday ! Atlantic Salmon with ginger & lemongrass grilled shrimp, butternut squash & broccolini. It was a smash! I mean flavor overload! It was extremely yummy, tasty and filling. Cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were abundant! What more can you ask for! Anybody who knows me knows I am a Pappadeaux super fan! This was actually a takeout order and it was still really fresh! To say I was completely satisfied would be an understatement. You can't lose with Pappadeaux!! This was from the Windy Hill Rd location by the way. Don't miss out!

    I regret not trying this

We enjoyed a family meet up Christmas Eve who were visiting out of town. It's been years since I had dined at this location. Very pleased with the food and service. I tried the special of sea bass with crab and sautéed spinach. The fried platters that others ordered were definitely enough to share. There are indoor and outdoor dining. Nothing beats great food and fellowship.

I absolutely love this place. The food is consistently delicious, and they never disappoint. The atmosphere is always inviting and friendly, and the service is wonderful. I did have a small mishap with my meal, but it was handled immediately and professionally--the manager came out to speak with me, and everything was resolved quickly with no further issues. I will definitely be back. If you haven't been to Pappadeaux, treat yourself to their incredible Creole flavors and genuine hospitality. It's well worth the visit.

Great nice tasting seafood place big time my friends & my family to enjoyed eating here it was so nice plus they even have a huge outside patio area with tree lined area as well it looks so nice especially in the spring summer time so that was great to overall everything was great no complaints at all it's easy to see why all pappadeaux places in metro Atlanta area stay busy for

I was invited to a birthday and I have always heard good things about Pappadeaux, since we don't have one where I live I was excited to finally try it. We had a reservation for 2:00 and we were promptly seated when we arrived. The menu has an extensive selection and I couldn't decide what I wanted. I started with the hot honey gator bites, my mom had the calamari and they both came out hot and freshly cooked. For my entree I had the Texas redfish Pontchartrain that came with dirty rice lump crab, shrimp in a brown butter sauce. It was delicious, my mom had the gumbo and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I was too full for dessert but I would definitely go back when I'm in the area. Since we had a big group we had many waitstaff assisting us. Our waitress I cannot remember her name and waiter Amarotoe were so nice. I'm so disappointed we don't have one here in NC. I told all my friends about it.

Overall, it was a really good experience with plenty of flavorful food and great service. We ordered three different boil bags: one with shrimp, another with Dungeness crab and mussels, and a third with shrimp and lobster tail. On top of that, we also ordered regular calamari, Cajun calamari, fried okra, 12-piece lemon pepper wings, and steamed oysters. Most of the food was absolutely delicious. Everything came out hot, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The boil bags were definitely the highlight. The shrimp, crab, and lobster were cooked well, and the seasoning on the boils was great. The calamari, wings, and fried okra were also solid and perfect for sharing. The only major disappointment was the oysters. Unfortunately, they were some of the worst oysters I've had. They were barely steamed and almost felt raw, and the seasoning mixture on top was not good at all. We ended up sending them back, and they were removed from our bill, which I appreciated. For drinks, I ordered a strawberry cocktail that usually comes with Ketel One vodka, but we asked for Tito's instead. After drinking it, I'm not completely sure the switch was actually made, and it also wasn't listed on the receipt. What really stood out was the service. Our server was very kind, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. The food came out in a timely manner, and everything was served hot. For all the food we ordered, the total came out to a little over $150, which felt very reasonable considering the amount of food. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back again. I just won't be ordering the oysters next time, and I wouldn't recommend them. Unfortunately, the discomfort continued after we were seated, as our table for two was positioned near the entrance, and we were repeatedly subjected to cold drafts throughout our meal. To add insult to injury, I ask the server, a black lady who looked like she was a recovering crack addict, what sides would be a good choice with the lump crab cake? I was simply directed back to the menu. I ordered one lump crab cake with two sides. However, when the plate was delivered, she told me that an extra crab cake had been added. This significantly increased the cost of the dish to nearly $80. I did not request an additional crab cake and was surprised by the charge. 2oz. of red wine served in a Bordeaux glass at a cost of $25.00, LOL. This is to be expected, but not serving an extra crab cake to inflate the bill. Overall, our bill exceeded $200, which was especially disappointing given the service issues and overall experience. I had much higher expectations for a New Year's Eve dinner; however, that extra charge was taken care of in the tip. Thanks Ms. Disingenuous! Maybe your service will be better going forward. Sincerely, Will never eat there again!!!

Free small parking lot in front. Free extra parking across the street. The total was about $150 for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and a dessert. Pros The quiet, intimate, and classy atmosphere was exactly what I needed for my family. When we first arrived, our table was not ready and we had to wait outside. However we were given continuous updates on when the table would be ready, they apologized, and they were very understanding. Considering we were a large party in an intimate space, we understood and only waited about 20 minutes before the table was ready. I randomly decided that I wanted Italian so we decided to check them out for the first time. Mezza Luna is located in a very small plaza with a tight parking lot. I'm so glad that I read the reviews in advance about parking, but I still wasn't prepared for what we saw. Surprisingly, there were 2 or 3 open spots when we visited around 7pm. We had reservations and were quickly seated after being greeted. The restaurant itself was quite intimate, offering only a few tables that were laid out in a manner that had us all quite close. But it worked! Since we had our son with us, they already had a high chair ready for us but he slept through the entire dinner, which also shows how peaceful it actually was in there. I started with a glass of chianti and it paired perfectly with the complimentary starter bread. That focaccia was so fresh! The crust had a great crunch but it was still soft and fluffy inside. We went with the meatball appetizer special which included 4-5 meatballs covered in marinara, fresh tomatoes and burrata. They were delicious, although the tomatoes being cold was a bit of a surprise. For dinner, I went for the chicken piccata and my partner opted for the chicken marsala. Both were great and packed with flavor. Such an unassuming place with tons of flavor waiting inside - perfect for date night or just a nice Italian dinner!
