Great experience and an awesome waitress. Food was a little slow coming and it was not packed. A laid spot for drinks and food. The food is pricey so great your mind right however that's Atlanta! Drink- Hurricane Appetizer- chargrilled oysters Entree- Mardi Gras Pasta. Bill- $85 I would return for happy hour again.

Surprisingly disappointed! I was so excited to finally make it here and invited my family visiting from out of state. It started off great with the warm welcome and service so I was that much more excited. Our server was nice and friendly and patient as some of us were indecisive about what to order, it all looked and sounded good. The drinks came out first and they were actually pretty good. Then the appetizer, which was the crab dip. It was soupy and came with only a few pieces of bread, not much crab. Then the entrees, gumbo, stuffed salmon, Mardi grass pasta, catfish, dirty rice and oyster trio. All were too salty. I love salt so if im saying it was too salty it's really bad. Some of us couldn't finish the dishes because the salt was overbearing. Huge disappointment. To make things worse, our server disappeared several times, so much so we had to constantly ask someone to find him. He was sitting at another table socializing most of the time, which was odd and irritating. I was so over it I didn't even bother to order the dessert I wanted to try. It was not as crowded as I would expect it to be on a Friday night and how it appears on TikTok, so that should've been a sign. And the fact that a 20% gratuity is forced upon us even with mediocre service is also frustrating. And quite frankly the menu prices are too high for the quality and quantity of food.

Djuan's New Orleans Bistro - Charming Vibe with Inconsistencies I've visited Djuan's New Orleans Bistro twice now once on a Wednesday and again the following week on a Thursday and overall, my experience has been a mix of great potential with a few noticeable misses. Let's start with the atmosphere. Upon first walk-in, the space is absolutely adorable. The Mardi Gras mask wine holder is a beautiful focal point, though I do think it would flow better slightly off to the side to open up the space more. The layout could also benefit from a proper host stand instead of a table at the front. That said, I loved sitting in the booth it gives you a great view overlooking the restaurant, and the outdoor area has a really nice vibe as well. On my Wednesday visit, I took advantage of their specials and ordered a $10 Hurricane, which was perfectly balanced between flavor and alcohol honestly, one was enough to get me right. I also ordered a French 75, but it came out warm, which was disappointing. I had to request ice just to enjoy it properly. For food, we ordered crab fries, catfish bites, and two dozen oysters. The oysters were very good, and the bread they came with was amazing though I did find it a bit petty to be charged $2 for just four small extra pieces. One thing I noticed between visits is inconsistency in oyster size. On Wednesday, they were larger, while on Thursday they were noticeably smaller. Unfortunately, during my second visit, on our last order of oysters, I found a large, thick hair on one of them. That completely ruined the experience for me and is something that should never happen, especially with seafood. The crab fries were nothing to rave about pretty much standard frozen fries with minimal seasoning, topped with crab meat. I honestly think they'd be better off offering fried crab claws instead. The catfish bites came out hot and fresh but could've used more seasoning to really stand out. Another major factor during my visit was that the air conditioning was out, which made the experience uncomfortable especially when you're dining and drinking alcohol. That combination just doesn't work well. Despite the inconsistencies, I will say management was very kind and receptive when I shared my concerns. They suggested I return on a less busy day for a better experience, which I appreciated. Overall, Djuan's has a lot of charm and potential, but it needs consistency in food quality, better attention to detail, and improvements in cleanliness and comfort to fully match the vibe they're going for. Thank you Djuan's New Orleans Bistro Team Kay Lachelle

2nd time here and my meal was as good as the first time. We came for lunch and the place was empty except for a few patrons. We got seated right away and the waiter came right over. He offered some menu recommendations and we went with a few of them. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the crab beignets on the day I went.. but I did get the Mardi gras pasta and my bestie got the crawfish fettuccine and the crab cake egg rolls. Everything was really flavorful, I will absolutely be returning to try something else.

D'Juan's Bistro did not disappoint. I had the Big C's rice bowl and the oysters, and both were on point. The flavor was bold and authentic New Orleans. You can tell it's made with care. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the food was just flat out good. I'll definitely be back.

I have an update to my review. Since they have now moved to West Village. I went in there first day open in West Village and it was packed. I finally was able to get a seat a the bar. It took them awhile for them to clean off the area from the people before me. I ordered the oysters and shrimp and catfish patter. The oysters were good the platter was just okay. No seasoning or flavor. I hope they are able to get more organized from a service perspective. There seemed to be a lot of confusion and disorganization with the wait staff which i hope they get it figured out.

My mother and I visited for the first time for lunch 3/26/26. We truly enjoyed everything about our dinning experience. The service is top tier, even the manager makes her rounds and greets guests and ensures the patrons were enjoying themselves. Our server was excellent, but I also want to add that everyone working there seemed to be very attentive even if they weren't your assigned server and I was impressed by that! Now on to the food.... Delicious! We literally truly enjoyed every tapa we tried. If you order anything with crab you get really crab meat and plenty of it. The sauce on those crunch crab fries was perfection... I really wish I couldn't make it myself lol! The margaritas flight is worth every cent as mother and I were in the "Christmas Spirit" lol as we left . Truly though the drinks are tasty. I look forward to my next visit here... I'm already craving those crab fries again!

I was worried based on some of the reviews but ended up pleasantly surprised. Service was good and so was the food. Not sure it's worth the high prices though.

Decided to try D'Juan's Bistro now that they moved to a larger location. We sat outside which was nice. Our server was attentive and provided the specials. The crab eggrolls were great ythe poboy was disappointing. It had a lot of smaller sized shrimp, fried very hard. For the price, I would have rather had less shrimp if they were larger. The red beans and rice, while a small serving size for the price, were good and seasoned just shy of being too salty. I like the location and will try them again but maybe try the catfish poboy instead.

I was in the area and looking for someplace to grab a quick bite. D'juan's had good yelp reviews in the food pictures looked delicious, so it was a no-brainer to try. The restaurant is in a strip mall that is kind of tucked away. It's not easy to see from the street. The first thing I noticed when I pulled into the parking lot is that most of the storefront seem to be closed. A gentleman who walked in directly before me was asking the hostess about how long they would be in this location. I did not hear the full answer, but it seems that maybe the strip mall is closing down in the businesses there maybe all relocating. I'm not sure if this is true, so don't quote me on it. However, it was very curious that at 5 PM on a Thursday, everything else would already be closed, including other restaurants. Because I was ordering to go, I ordered at the bar. The waitress had some trouble with the tablet and card reader, so it took a while to check out, but she was pleasant throughout the transaction. Because I was paying close attention, I was able to catch that she originally rung me up for a different platter than I'd ordered. I'm glad I caught that ahead of time so that I wasn't disappointed when my food came. Around the bar top, they have small signs noting that there is an automatic 20% gratuity on all orders. I'm glad I saw that ahead of time so that I was not surprised by the up charge. I visited the restroom while I waited for my food to come out. There are separate single use restrooms for men and women. It was clean enough and well stocked. My food came out pretty quickly, and I went to my car to take a few bites before starting my hour long drive home. Honestly, the food was just okay. I wouldn't drive 50 to 60 minutes just to eat here, but I would try it again if I was with someone who wanted to come here. I just would not order the same thing. If I got the catfish again, I would try it grilled. I had a fried catfish platter and a side of crawfish mac & cheese. All of it was edible, but none of it was excellent. Overall, the portion sizes are a bit smaller than the prices would suggest. When I ordered the crawfish mac & cheese, the waitress asked me if I wanted the side or the entrée. I had not noticed the entrée before this; however, the question made me look for it. There was about a 5 to 7 dollar price difference between the two. Once I received the side, I did wonder how big the entrée would have been.

Makes reservations!! I started off with a cup of gumbo. I didn't like it...Tasted like box Roux. I then had the oysters which I also didn't care for. Being from New Orleans, I have very high expectations for food, especially when they slap the "New Orleans" name on it. My entree was the catfish platter which came with shrimp and fries. The platter was good! The filets were large, enough to eat on twice. I also had the "Riverwalk" drink which was good as well. Restaurant is kind of small and can fill up pretty fast. Music was too loud, I could barley here my server and he could barley hear me.

The gumbo is an insult to the Creole cooking tradition. It was watered down with no meat to be found, other than a few shreds of chicken and a few thin pieces of sausage. Sad that I had to leave there and go to Copeland's to get something that remotely resembled gumbo. If you truly know and love Creole cooking, make the drive to Louisiana Bistro.

Cons: They need a larger establishment! Wait time Pros: Everything else I say on most of my reviews Instagram popularity will lead you into the middle of nowhere trying to get some food. In this case, Instagram was right I was looking for an oyster special and they popped up. We came on a Wednesday for the oyster specials. The oysters are so good. The size the charbroil everything about those oysters are delicious. Getting to the oysters was the nerve wrecking part. Dwight was almost an hour for a party of two. We ended up being able to sit at the bar. I initially thought it was because it was AKA Founders Day which is why the restaurant was so busy but apparently this is a reoccurring thing every Wednesday for their special. Our server was actually the bartender. She's very nice and very knowledgeable about everything weasked. I personally had two orders of the oysters- the first ones were so good and went so quick My girlfriend and I split our drink flight. The drinks were strong and worth the money. The mac & cheese was OK. I wasn't as excited about it as I thought I would be. . If they open another location or if I'm in the area on a Wednesday I'll definitely be back for those oysters though.

Our reservation is at 6 and we were seated by 6:08. Took a few minutes for our server to come greet us, we all started off with waters, but said that we will be ordering drinks and we have one more friend arriving in 10mins. Came back with the water and bread baskets and he disappeared again. Our friend arrives and finally got our server's attention to order appetizers. At this point, we were kind of annoyed and the birthday girl said to forget about the drinks. She flagged some other server down to refill our waters (still haven't seen our server come back after taking our appetizer order). Someone delivered our appetizer and we asked him to refill our waters again. At this point, we see our neighboring table's server more than we see ours. Birthday girl flagged someone else down for more waters and we just sat and waited. Finally was able to flag down someone, probably a manager that was walking around, told him that we haven't seen our server in a long time and we would like to order dinner. He said ok, walked away and came back and said that he will take our order. His demeanor / attitude was short and borderline rude (at least when he was talking to me) but so soft spoken and patient with my friend sitting across from me with her questions. Not sure if he felt some kind of way because I said and quote "We haven't seen our server in a while and we would really like to order dinner." Once we ordered... more waiting, then suddenly... our server popped up and was like "are you guys ready to order?" What??? do you guy who work together don't communicate with one another? We told him we already did and just just gave a nod and walked away. Took about 30-40mins before we got our food. Our server did stop by once during that wait to let us know that it'll be ready soon. My friend's first concern was... is out food going to be hot? Finally when we got our food she took a bite of her chicken and she said "it's just warm", the birthday girl's chicken was also just warm, my pasta was slightly undercook and also just warm. The last 2 entrees that's delivered to our other friends, the fried cauliflower... was hot. The veggie burger was hot but the whole thing fell apart when she picked it up. She also had to wait for her sweet potato fries, which was actually fresh. Then our server popped up to check on us, we went ahead and told him to put in our to-go order and asked for our check (not really sure how long it would take for him to come back if we let him leave... LOL). We all just kind of picked at our food, the quality of the food is just not there and we were really annoyed at the lack of service that we got. I ordered the Jambalaya pasta and the chocolate truffle tower to go for my husband and when I got home (30min drive) and open the food... It was dried, the pasta was undercooked, there was no flavor (not the jambalaya that my husband got when eating in). He took a bite and said it was the most disgusting thing ever. As bad as the food and the service is, at least they can still make a decent cake / cheesecake. Being home and taking a bit of that cake is the best thing of the night. Definitely not the cheesecake factory we know and remember. The birthday girl's dinner experience was ruined and she was really annoyed with the lack of service and the quality of the food as are the rest of the party.

Everyone was nice and welcoming, and the shop itself is adorable. It's very well put together, and I loved the way they have the display case set up. It's a cute little spot, and visually, it makes a great impression. Now, for me, where it fell short was the actual cookies. I felt like all of the ones we ordered tasted the same, which was really strange. When we went in, my mom ordered a Red Velvet and a Banana Moon Pie, and I got the Carrot Cake and Oatmeal Raisin. I'm someone who really enjoys cookies, and I'm a bit of a stickler about them--especially oatmeal raisin. I want to taste the oats. But this one didn't deliver. The base of it tasted more like a standard chocolate chip cookie dough, and while it had some raisins and cranberries, it just didn't give me that distinct oatmeal raisin flavor I was expecting. My mom ended up receiving a Chocolate Chip instead of her Red Velvet, which was disappointing because she was really looking forward to that one. She did enjoy the Banana Moon Pie and said it tasted just like an actual moon pie. I've never had one myself, so I couldn't speak to it, but she was happy with it. I also took a bite of her chocolate chip cookie, and it tasted exactly like my oatmeal raisin--same dough, same flavor. And that was the pattern. The Carrot Cake cookie, too, didn't stand out. It had a drizzle of icing on top, but beyond that, I couldn't taste anything that made it feel like a true carrot cake-inspired cookie. It just felt like the same base dough across all the flavors.
