I ordered the French toast with strawberries and whipped cream. The sweet boy had to tell me when I got there to pick up that there were no strawberries. That's fine I said. I have strawberries at home. But when I got home, I opened it to see 4 slices of the French toast. The slices were slightly bigger than a slice of white bread from the store. Still fine even though it was $15. Then I had to scrape of the ridiculous amount of cinnamon burnt on the bread. Then I tasted it and it was like dry bread with a burnt cinnamon layer even after scraping the bulk of it off. It also had the taste of a burger or steak on the really burnt parts. The homemade whipped cream was weird too. Usually it would melt on hot food but it kind of just balled up in a strange texture. I'll definitely still come back because I live close and I've had great food there before and I love the bartenders and servers and the owner (or GM?) who personally greets me almost every time.
