I enjoyed my visit to Bar Haus. The happy hour had great specials at good prices and it's incredible for groups. The food and drinks were tasty and well made. The service was fine. Our waitress got a few things wrong on our order but that wasn't a deal breaker. My only complaint was that the music was very loud. So much so that we had to move to another table so we could hear our conversation. All in all, I recommend giving this restaurant a try.

This was a nice surprise. I love this place! Food was good, small portions but good happy hour prices and menu. They have it decorated nice for Halloween. Really cute and they have the coolest festive drinks. They had fresh real roses on every table in cute jars of water. It's the little details I love. The art back drop keeping the red rose theme with the high suede seats is nice. We ordered salmon bites, wings, salad, everything was surprisingly delicious and fresh. My friends and I have an inside joke about never supporting any business with a fake rose or greenery wall. Haus said fine, theirs is on the ceiling. It looks nice. Atmosphere, aesthetics, decor, vibe, were all good. The DJ also played some great throwbacks. It was loud. But we were facing him and the speakers. The service was great. Big shout out to Drake. She was so funny, and no nonsense, and a sweetheart all at the same time. I have friends in town and she allowed us to do a same day reservation even though Fridays are their busy night and they don't do same day reservations. She let us know we tried it, then allowed us the section. We appreciate her. it was a good time. The team there seem to enjoy their job and it shows in the service. We did not have to hunt the sever down, even the it was packed, she checked on us everytime she walked by. The surrounding area gives sketchy, it's in between to a thrift store, and something else under construction, but inside it's really nice. I like it. I will go back and I highly recommend. They have $10 valet, but we parked on the street in front of the restaurant close to the thrift store.

I came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday in August. It was pretty easy to reserve a table. When I finally got there, Drake greeted me at the door. She was so sweet and very helpful. A few people in my party were late but she did her best to assist me with my tables. She made sure to check on us and brought great vibes! My waiter was Jayden!! Hiiiii Jayden, thank you so much for the hospitality! Now to the foooood!!! Yummy yummy. It was happy hour when we arrived! The drinks were GOODT! The food was even better. We tore those salmon bits up honey. The wings were great! My friends ordered a few other things but honestly I cannot remember what they had. There was an outside patio, but I did not get to see it. The DJ kept the party lit! I will be back!

We stopped in for happy hour! The wings hot/lemon pepper and the garlic parm were really good. I would also suggest the salmon bites! The hookah for hh is $20 and it was a smooth pull and lasted! The only down side was the happy hour drinks, the lemon drops taste like a premade mix that they are using. The old fashion was probably a 5/10 as well. I think if the drinks matches the food, service, and hookah they will be 10/10! The ambiance was nice and very ig worthy! The dj wasn't too loud and played a great selection. Open 3 months, go check them out!

I was invited out by old coworkers. It's on a side street, so no if you don't know, you won't know. It's a really cute lounge, looks like an older home(not old) from the outside. It is kind of small but decorated nicely. There is only one restroom per sex, decorated dark but a nice and clean. They do have a patio and offer hookah. They have a nice happy hour 1-8pm. I had a flight... I remember sangria and margarita, the other 2(don't remember), and 2 lemon drops. I will say I do feel, my after happy hour lemon drop tasted better lol. Not to say the other one was bad. I had the happy hour catfish nuggets w/ waffle fries. The catfish was a little too salty but eatable. Now let's get into my server Twin, she was everything!! She made sure you were good and remembered any request you had, even while it was getting busy. I can see myself going back but I would probably go earlier in the day because the crowd started to get a little younger. Stayed a vibe though.

This place is amazing. The artwork and decor was well thought out. Very sexy vibes in here. The food was hot & fresh and seasoned well. I ordered from the happy hour menu some wings and fries and catfish and fries and they was the bomb. Several of my friends ordered different items and stated their was was awesome as well. The bartender extraordinaire LEE was AMAZING! Very quick and observant. She was personable and like to have fun with the guest at her bar. Please ask for Lee & take care of her. Ms. D'Meshia was on the floor with tables but checked in on the customer's at the bar and was very helpful. The restrooms were nicely decorated and cool and clean. There is only 1 male and 1 female restrooms so the line can back up, so have patience or get there early. They have a parking lot and addition parking on the street. They have an amazing outside patio with a TV. You have to check this place out. I will definitely be back with more friends to support this bar.

I had been wanting to try their food so figured give it a try. I placed an order for Haitian patties, Oxtail, and a side salad. When I arrived, I reviewed the receipt and noticed the price of the oxtail increased from $38 to $42. The price on the website is not currently reflecting the prices being charged. I use the unkind app but it was not working so could not use it to pay. The hostess said it was an ongoing issue. Let's discuss the food. My coworker enjoyed her Haitian patties. She said the island slaw was really good. The side salad is the house salad. I asked for balsamic dressing when given the option. There was none on that salad. Sigh. The oxtail were good. They were very well seasoned and had a good flavor. The rice and beans were good but not enough. The rice could have been cooked a tad bit longer. It wasn't fine bur like 1 minute when have been perfect. I did not dine in but it looked nice inside. There was a decent amount of people there. It was clean and nicely decorated. I would eat here again but I didn't like the price difference in the oxtails or lack of salad dressing. I think dining there those issues could have been addressed but I was back at work.

Additionally, he continuously checked in on us and made sure we didn't go without. Our food was made to perfection. I love the Cajun chicken sandwich and although this was my first time having it in years I still remember the flavor and this sandwich didn't disappoint at all. My husband ordered the shrimp po boy and at every bite as well. We both enjoyed our drinks as well, the peach lemon drop and whiskey mojito. A great restaurant for American cuisine with a Cajun twist. I've been a fan of this restaurant for a very long time and I'm happy I'm still able to enjoy their food.

Unfortunately, there aren't enough fast food joints with a focus on fresh salads but lucky for me, Doc Green's was right on my pathway for the day. Located in a huge plaza in Smyrna, Doc Green's is a salad lovers dream. I can't believe this was my first visit! The restaurant itself is narrow but long, offering plenty of seating in the back of the place, as well as the entryway. Doc Green's is actually paired with another restaurant it seems, but I was focused on the salad. They have some recommended combos but you can also create your own with a wide array of toppings. I was in heaven looking at all of the fresh veggies, proteins and dressings available. I decided to create my own and just went wild. I was super bummed because I ended up forgetting some favorites (like avocado) because I didn't see/notice them on the cold bar. I chose my dressings, had it mixed up and then checked out. I opted for a fountain drink and unfortunately, the lemonade was toooooo sweet. But that was the only downside because my salad was wonderful!! Everything was fresh, the portions were generous and I felt like I got my money's worth. I'm always in the Akers Mill plaza buying things I don't need so I can't wait to grab another salad at Doc Green's when I'm in the neighborhood!

I ordered the French toast with strawberries and whipped cream. The sweet boy had to tell me when I got there to pick up that there were no strawberries. That's fine I said. I have strawberries at home. But when I got home, I opened it to see 4 slices of the French toast. The slices were slightly bigger than a slice of white bread from the store. Still fine even though it was $15. Then I had to scrape of the ridiculous amount of cinnamon burnt on the bread. Then I tasted it and it was like dry bread with a burnt cinnamon layer even after scraping the bulk of it off. It also had the taste of a burger or steak on the really burnt parts. The homemade whipped cream was weird too. Usually it would melt on hot food but it kind of just balled up in a strange texture. I'll definitely still come back because I live close and I've had great food there before and I love the bartenders and servers and the owner (or GM?) who personally greets me almost every time. Hopefully this was a one off.

The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.

I…read moretypically go to LOL burger, but read a review that raved about the turkey burger at this spot! I was sold! I arrived around 3:30pm. They have a dedicated parking a lot that had plenty of open spots when I arrived. When I walked in I read the sign that said seat yourself, so I did just that . The wait staff immediately came over with a menu. She asked if I needed another drink besides water. I am not a fan of ice cold water so I did request water with no ice. I checked out the menu period to arriving so I already knew my order ! I opted for the turkey burger with Parmesan garlic fries. The sound of this had my mouth watering in anticipation as I waited for my food to arrive . It appears the food was cooked fresh because it took a good 15 minutes for my food to arrived. There were only two other patrons in the restaurant so they were not busy . When my food arrived - I got so excited to take that first bite . I started with the fries! I enjoyed them but I did not taste the garlic . Additionally I am accustomed toParmesan cheese being grated thin- the cheese on the fries did not look like Parmesan, but they were tasty! Would I order them again? - no- they just did not taste like Parmesan garlic fries so no need to pay extra for it next time . Now for the star of the show--- this turkey burger was amazing!! Here is the deal, the actual Pattie is nothing special - it's what is included with the Pattie that makes this good. The kale slaw , and the sauce - oh my gosh!! You get every macro you need , protein , carbs and fiber!!! Then to make it even better it has a spicy kick to it ! When I tell you I cleaned my plate ! There was not one crumb on my plate when I finished! My only complaint -- please clean the router and the items next to it ! I sat in the booth directly by the router and the amount of dust on that thing was disturbing ! I wanted to clean it myself! I am sure this does not need to be stated - but I will be back and I would recommended you check this spot out !
