I struggled to find a place that was open on Sunday for brunch longer than 2pm and I came across this place in my search. The place is very spacious and quiet. Our waiter Simon was awesome. He was very kind and attentive. I ordered the steak and eggs. It comes with over easy eggs, bacon, home fries, and a slice of toast. I also got a mimosa. My mom got the breakfast skillet, a biscuit, and a cup of coffee. Everything came out to around $35. When I tell you this was the cheapest quality meal I've had for two people in a very long time. The three stars is generous. The bean burger was not flavorful at all. The bean had zero spice on them. Boring. Flavorless. I ordered it with bleu cheese on it and it came with some creamy stuff that didn't taste like bleu cheese at all. And with slices of avocado which is pretty bland too. The bun was excellent. I had food poisoning after eating a burger from this location. I picked up an order of a medium-well Cheddar Burger with Bacon, tots, and a chicken sandwhich with sweet potato fries. The burger looked great online, so I picked this place. I ate the burger at 9pm, and went to bed at 11, to wake up at 1am, 3am, 5am, 9am, to vomit each time, and with diarrhea. It didn't go away, I am in alot of pain, I had to take a visit to urgent care where they gave me a shot and prescribed me pills to take. I reached out to the restaurant and spoke with the manager to let him know what happened to me, and ask if he would work with me on covering for this incident, he was extremely rude and unprofessional, he defended his restaurant by saying "you could have ate something before and that caused it" well I was on a 3 hour flight and went directly to this restaurant because I was hungry! See my ticket below, 33A, the absolute last seat on the plane, they dont serve you food here. I hadn't ate since 2pm. I expected a more honest approach and not a defensive approach, as a manager, or owner, you should NEVER come across that defensive, it makes you look guilty. I did inform him I will contact legal services, he didn't even offer me a refund for the food that is STILL damaging my stomach 18 hours later! We chose to buy dog treats because what dog doesn't want a snack too when his people are out for lunch?! They were organic carrot and blueberry. He loved them and he's a decently picky eater. I started with the chip trio which was really good - the chips had a house seasoning which I thought made them unique. For an entree I had the chicken cáprese sandwich. The flavor was okay but the chicken breast was swallowed by the bread. The fries were above average though. Overall, the food was fine and the service was good.
