Paige's Bistro is officially one of my new favorite spots in Austell. From the first bite, I knew this place was serious about flavor. They serve American comfort food with a Cajun twist, and everything I tried was seasoned and cooked just right. The waffles were golden and fluffy, the chicken tenders were crispy and juicy with no dry bites, and the salad was fresh and flavorful. The cheesecake? Absolutely amazing. I also grabbed their lemonade, and it was the perfect finish to the meal. I love supporting Black-owned businesses, and Paige's Bistro is definitely doing it right. Great food, good portions, and a welcoming vibe. I'll absolutely be back, especially with their second location opening soon. If you're in or near Austell, this spot is worth the visit. read more

10/10. I absolutely love to eat the food and desserts from Paige's Bistro. It's a must have restaurant every time I'm in Atlanta. I have not had the pleasure of dining in which I'm okay with, because the food is too good. I just have to eat while comfortable so as soon as I can finish I can relax and reminisce about the delicious meal I just enjoyed. I've ordered quite a few items from their menu overtime and they have not missed yet. The food is always fresh, hot, and filled with unbeatable flavors. Their menu has many options to pick from. I actually found this restaurant via Doordash and I've been grateful ever since. Our son brought us here and it is bussin! I thought I was back in my college days with the amount of young people coming here to buy food. The customer service is great. The food is cooked to order. There is dining space to inside once you order your food. If you like a twist to your burger or sandwich, definitely come and try theirs. Our son ordered a burger that had Mac n cheese, and pull pork on top with a side of fries and their famous Blue Raspberry Lemonade. Let me start with my favorite thing about Paige's Bistro, your food is cooked when you order it!! I love that. But I also think that overwhelms the staff when they are busy. They seem to get A LOT of delivery app orders. I went in on a Friday at 1115 and although there were only 2 people in there other than me, there were about 5 people there to pick up orders. They already had so many orders that they announced it would be about 30-40 minutes for anyone ordering. There was only 1 girl working the registers and she was so busy working on the orders that myself and another person got out of line to order from the tablet, instead of waiting for her. My food ending up taking about 30 mins. I ordered red velvet waffle and chicken wings. And a kids meal with chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. The best thing was all my food came out very hot. However, I couldn't eat my waffle or the chicken tenders. The waffle was a little overcooked, which made it pretty rubbery and a little difficult to eat. The chicken tenders seem to be breast meat, and unfortunately were overcooked so they weren't really enjoyable. The chicken wings however, were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The wings are always top tier!!! I highly recommend those. The get yo life fries are usually 10/10! This time it was 7/10. The cheesecake was amazing per usually. Small inside but it was clean and parking was plenty and easy. This was my first time at the Austell location, I usually go to her food truck or the Decatur location. Don't walk, run to Paige's Bistro. We practically swam there and it was so worth the umbrella and all of the puddles. The food was simply scrumptious! Proprietors, Paige and Craig, look like they love what they do and you can taste it. Their southern food with a dash of cajon flavor was tasty, spicy, finger licking, lip smacking delectably delicious. Chicken was tender and juicy. The fries were crisp with just the right amount of spice. I thought the fish sandwich stacked 3 filets high melted in my mouth. I wish we were staying longer in the area to go back and try everything on the menu. The cherry on top of this culinary delight was the service! Everyone behind the counter was smiling, laughing and making sure their customers were taken care of. Paige's Bistro is absolutely delicious! It took way too long to write this review, but better late than never lol. I recently visited again, and it prompted me to finally write a review. They're located in Austell close to downtown Austell. My fam and I went here for brunch one weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. At the time we went, we decided to dine in. They don't have a huge space, but there are some tables and seating to dine in. The employee was helpful in providing us with recommendations as it was our first time. I will say it did take some time to receive our order, but everything is cooked fresh to order and I think they tend to be pretty busy on the weekends especially with online orders. The most recent time I went, the food came out rather fast and I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it come out fast, but the food was nice and hot too. My first go around I got the red velvet waffles with chicken tossed in I believe honey hot. Most recently I got the double crunch wings and tossed in the same and it was so good! The one thing I might add is that on the wings, the sauce was a bit overkill as the crunch on the wings weren't fully there due to too much sauce, but it still tasted amazing. The portion sizes are great and you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Inside is clean and pretty casual. Nothing fancy or anything, but it's nice overall. This review is based on an Uber eats order so I can't speak to the service or ambiance, therefore this review is based on the quality and taste of the food. However, it was delivered hot and fresh in a timely manner. I ordered 10 wings in hot lemon pepper sauce, a side of fried shrimp, a side of Cajun Mac, a slice of strawberry crunch cheese cake, and peach cobbler pound cake. If you're looking for well seasoned food that is packed with flavor this is it. Everything tasted top notch and and cooked well. The wings were swimming in sauce which took away some of the crunch but still good. My only critique is that the wings are small, I expected bigger wings since they are breaded. The sauce is slightly spicy and tangy. For me it was the perfect Buffalo wing sauce. The shrimp was also really tasty. I can tell they use some kind of lemon flavor on them. I usually squeeze lemon on all my seafood but the shrimp here was perfect. The shrimp are large, in fact the shrimp was bigger than the wings The Mac and cheese was unlike any Mac and cheese I've ever had. Taste like they use mozzarella which gave it a nice flavor and extra pull. It had a crusty cheese layer on top and lots of butter and a slight spice. The pound cake was covered in syrup from the cobbler, it taste really good, really sweet, and extra moist. It taste more like a sock it to me cake than a pound cake. "I saw it on TikTok" and had to try it. We live nearby and had never heard of this place. It's kind of in the cut next to a plumbing business. There is seating inside, regular tables for 4, and several high tops. When you walk in you are greeted by the staff at the counter. There's a menu on the wall and when you are ready to make your order and you simply put your order into the iPad. If you have any questions, the staff at the front counter can help you. Once you are done with your order there is a waiting area with benches to sit while you wait for food. I saw that they had fish cakes in a case at the counter, but I didn't indulge on the day we went. There were a couple people dining in the restaurant when we arrived. There were also several pick ups. I ordered the honey hot chicken sandwich, which came with Cajun seasoned fries. My husband ordered shrimp with aïoli sauce. It also came with the Cajun seasoned fries but he also got coleslaw as a side. The food took about 20 minutes to come out. Not bad at all. The fries are really good! my sandwich was delicious and I was so full afterwards. My husband was pleased that the shrimp were good size, and his aïoli was super garlicky, which he did not mind at all. I have to admit that the aïoli brought the shrimp up a notch. the coleslaw was fine, it had a reddish tent, making it "cajun "but it tasted like regular coleslaw so I can't say anything significant about that. I drove a hour to Paige's Bistro on May 26th to try for the first time. Props to them for being open on the holiday! I ordered online & paid around $40. Upon arrival they weren't too busy & the employees were very nice! It didn't take long for me to get my order. My fiancé got the peach cobbler waffle with lemon pepper tenders & the Cajun macaroni. I got for myself the strawberry shortcake waffle with hot honey tenders & Cajun macaroni. The tenders are a very good size & they're sauced very very well. The hot honey does have a strong buffalo taste but is not overpowering the honey, personally I'm not a big fan of buffalo but these were still very good. (I mention this Incase there's others who may be thinking of getting the flavor but may not be a huge fan of buffalo) the waffles were so good! I do wish the cinnamon sprinkle on the waffles could be optional when ordering online but overall they had a perfect amount of toppings & were delicious! The Macaroni was good but The two orders of it I received were pretty greasy. It did have a really good cheese pull which I loved. A non Cajun option would be a plus! We shared the Strawberry crunch cheesecake slice & it was absolutely delicious! Overall a really good experience when ordering & picking up. I first learned about this spot on Instagram and was even more excited when I learned it wasn't far from my house! I had the bourbon salmon burger with fries and it was very good! Seasoned well! Now, I'm not a fan of fried green tomatoes but this comes with a fried red tomato! I've never tried a fried red tomato but I wanted to give it a go! Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about it lol-- the next time I may order it without the tomato just to compare, but the main point is that I WILL order it again. I was really excited when my schedule linked up to their hours and allowed me to try it. But I was very disappointed. I placed an order online to minimize wait time. Better be good was my thought , because it was raining and to send me back outside in the rain when I had the confirmation information on my phone felt ridiculous. I ended up still having to wait for the food. While I was waiting, I noticed they had cheesecakes in a small fridge on the counter. Online it said they were sold out. I asked about them and I ordered one. This was one of the main reasons I wanted to come here, so I was excited about that. However, the cheesecake was so tiny! And I think it was seven or eight dollars apiece. Plate was heavy and hot when I received it. I should have checked to make sure everything was in the bag but I didn't. Seeing as how I had to wait when I placed my order 30 minutes prior... I was trusting that they were diligent and accurate. Wrong. I was missing the macaroni I ordered, but I had already gotten too far away to turn around. I see what ppl mean about the soggy fries. Those were the first thing I tasted and they were hot, but soggy??? I don't know how that happens. The taste of the food was ok, reminded me of fair food. Stopped by after a day at six flags so we were hungryyy. My husband loves waffles so it was his desicions to try out Paige's. Ate in instead of taking to go so we could get the foods fresh at it's best. Ordering is self service done on a kiosk. For a little over $100 w/tip we ordered, Seafood explosion, double crunch wings, Bailey's burger, two orders of red velvet chicken and waffles, strawberry crunch cheesecake, and turtle brownie. As much as we ordered we were pleasantly surprised how quickly the food came out. My favorite from all that we ordered was definitely the burger. Tasted as pretty as it looked. And the strawberry crunch cheesecake. Silky and not too sweet with the added strawberry crunch bits. Very yummy. Everything else I felt tasted the same.. even with the different sauces. Not sure if everything is battered with the same seasoned batter but I wouldn't be surprised. Seafood explosion was okay. I see why it would be $25 because of all that goes into it but there were barely any lobster or fish nuggets. 2-3 bits each, maybe. Shrimp was gorgeous. Everything being seasoned Cajun had everything tasting the same. Hoped the jalapeno would add a little needed acid but it really did nothing. The wings definitely had a little extra crunch though the crust didn't stick well to the wings. Wings and tenders we sauced generously which is always appreciated. Tenders aren't actually tenders but breasts. No biggie except they were all pretty dry as some other reviewers commented on. We were also really looking forward to the red velvet waffle but I would not call it a real waffle. It was waffle shape but that's about it. You can tell in the picture they were falling apart. Too soft, no crust of a real waffle. I was expecting a cream cheese icing but it is served with regular. Original syrup is on the table to use. I didn't use any. Brownie was rich though had been made a day before or something because there actually was a pretty thick crust on top and made it very hard to eat with a plastic fork or spoon. Again very generous with the serving and the sugared nuts. I bet it tastes amazing fresh and I can only imagine fresh with ice cream.. ;)) Overall we honestly felt very uncomfortable the whole time in the establishment. Update: Response to the owner. I probably should have asked for a manager. or called back. I guess I didn't because the young lady who gave me my food opened the container / looked at it, while presenting it to me. She saw the burnt tenders & soggy fries. She bagged it up and gave it to me so she clearly felt that the food was fine and I didn't want to be 'difficult.' Background - I kept seeing photos of their delicious food pop up in my Yelp feed. I'd checked out their menu & since I'm a sucker for a good pun & detailed descriptions, I was super excited to give them a try. I've been busy with work stuff, house stuff, so I decided to drop by to get some food for me & one of my buddies that just got out of the hospital. Interior / Exterior - I actually missed them at first, because my navigation told me I'd arrived only after I had already passed the spot. The building is an elevated lot in front of Masters Generator & Electrical. There's a small, shared parking lot. Not their fault, but some inconsiderate nut had dumped a bunch of chicken greasy chicken bones in lot and I stepped right into the pile upon exiting vehicle. The interior is pretty bare bones - with several small tables on the right side of the dining room & several 2-tops along the left side. Everything appeared to be clean and in order. Customer Service - When I walked in, there were 4 people waiting in the small area in front of the counter. There was a couple that appeared to be still deciding what to order (standing there, blocking both signs) and another gentleman who was standing behind them, but closer to the door. The guy closer to the door reeked of weed. It was so Loud, I immediately stumbled back away from him. The cashier(?) was just staring at the couple. Eventually, the woman (from the couple) turned and stared at the cashier. After an uncomfortable silence, she asked the cashier if she could order and the cashier replied, "I'm just waiting on you." And she said it with a bit of an odd tone. Once the woman paid, the couple went off to find a table. Mr. Loud then moves over to the counter and starts talking to the cashier saying, "Yeah, yeah. I peeped that. She was just staring at you cuz she didn't read the sign. The sign says right here to place your order using this screen. But they don't read. See, I read. I read. I knew to place my order with the screen." The cashier laughs and agrees with him and he continues to stand there rocking back and forth congratulating himself on how smart and observant he is. So since it was clear that he had already placed his order and was now impeding my ability to place mine, I finally just moved forward and said, "Excuse me," loudly to get him to move aside then I quickly asked the cashier if she wanted me to use the kiosk or if she wanted to take my order. She said that either way was fine. Food - Ok. So - I'm clearly not as observant as Mr. Loud because I mis-read several things on the menu before I arrived. For instance, I thought 'cajun lemon pepper seasoned' meant I could choose from cajun, lemon pepper, or traditional seasoning. Nope. Comes with all three - and you can't modify. And I didn't realize that the chicken tenders were cajun - with no regular / traditional option. The cashier (I didn't get her name but she was slender with big, pretty doe eyes) said they weren't really spicy - so I decided to go to Bay Breeze for the fish and only got chicken tenders here. I asked if I could get my fries plain - no cajun seasoning and she said yes. I won't keep you in suspense: Food was not good. See pics. My chicken tenders were burnt. I'd hoped the dark brown black specks were some sort of red pepper flakes or parsley that had been added to the flour - but nope - they were burnt spots. The french fries have changed from the ones previously pictured. They aren't 'plain.' They're the kind with a cornstarch coating to make them crispy. But mine were soggy as though they had been dropped in the oil before it was hot enough. Value - It wasn't a good value because I couldn't eat my food. Had the food been prepared properly, it would have been an excellent value because the portion was pretty substantial. Overall - I'm also old school enough that even with Covid - I prefer placing my order with a human being - and I REALLY don't like it when people stare at you instead of just being courteous and saying, "How may I help you? Do you have any questions?" I know I'm not their key demographic cuz even though I work in IT - I'm old LOL - so I don't really like kiosk ordering. I've also never enjoyed SUPER saucy food or ULTRA heavy seasonings - but I think others will enjoy the food. On a positive note - when I was attempting to eat the tenders, I pulled one apart and it was clear that this is hand-breaded, 100% white meat / chicken breast. Had this spot on my list for a while and while I was in the area I decided to stop in for lunch. I had high expectations for this place due to all of the great reviews I've noticed but was definitely blown away by the food. One thing I can tell you about this place, is that if you want to go to a restaurant and simply care about the customer service and food, this place has it! The space is not IG picture worthy as from the inside, they've kinda converted to takeout only but I guess it doesn't have to be. All of the items I purchased were very good. Fresh, made to order and cooked with love and flavor. Even the fries were top notch. That fish sandwich was huge, very fresh and had a ton of flavor. And the churro waffle!!! Literally if you get this waffle, do not bother to add syrup. It totally does not need it. Restaurants that give you the bare bones business of good food, are the best in my opinion because sometimes you don't want all of the fluff, just great food at decent prices. Only one suggestion I would give is for the owners to invest in a larger sign outside of the restaurant or maybe hire one of those flipping signs guys to direct people to the place. Being that the restaurant is kinda in a vehicle industrial area and not a shopping center, if you're not from around there you could miss the place. Disappointing. I ordered the caftfish sandwich, and the fries that oddly came with mac and cheese and fried shrimp. I thought i was ordering regular fries, but guess i chose the wrong option. The fish sandwich was soggy from the bread and sauce, and not very crunchy (I'm a texture person and love a good crunch). The shrimp were entirely inedible with the crust on. I had to peel off the breading with my hands because it was so so so salty. The mac and cheese on the fries is just an odd, unnecessary combo. Nothing spectacular about it, the mac looks cheesy, but it didn't really taste cheesy. I also ordered the peach cobbler pound cake and it wasn't very sweet, and the cake wasn't very moist. I don't feel this meal was worth $31 at all. I wouldn't go back, I trashed most of it. Bummer. read more

This place took Chicken and Waffles to another level! The food was so delicious! This is a hole in the wall type place: clean, small, cozy. Everyone was super nice, very sweet. This is definitely a hidden gem, must visit. We tried several dishes, my favorite was the churro chicken and waffle: yummy!
