I grabbed a sandwich--it was good, but not a wow moment for me. That said, the menu has a bunch of other options I'd love to try, so I'll definitely be back to give them another shot.

Double meat would have been too much, it would throw off the meat to bread ratio. Plenty of thin sliced juicy steak, with the veggies and cheese just all melting together. The bread was so soft, the whole generous cheesesteak was a joy to eat, I hardly needed to chew it. I'm seriously thinking of getting another one tomorrow.

The combination of wood-grilled beef, roasted poblano, melted cheddar, red onion, and cilantro aioli is top-tier. It's honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had, with the smoky poblano giving it the perfect kick. It comes with fries cooked to absolute perfection and your choice of pickle--the dill was the perfect move to tie it all together. There's a reason this burger wins awards. Very little veggies, 1/2 a brussel sprout (no exaggeration) and the steak was charred and tasted so. Doc Green's is actually paired with another restaurant it seems, but I was focused on the salad. They have some recommended combos but you can also create your own with a wide array of toppings.
