I found scotch bonnet pepper powder, which I've been hunting down for a while. They even have it in liquid form too--for my fellow scotch bonnet lovers, iykyk. The meat looked super fresh. This place was wonderful! Walked in and there were coolers with various craft beers, a table with fancy wines that I've never seen before. I didn't pay attention to what milk was used, but this is Georgia, so you make do. The drinks are all canned or bottled. They had some imported sparkling waters. You can tell by the fact that the caps don't twist off and are attached to the bottle intentionally because the EU requires this to avoid pollution by people leaving bottle caps all over the place. The young lady at the counter super knowledgeable and ready to answer questions. She was very sweet and good to talk to. I came after a lunch rush, so she asked me to pick a seat and let her know so she can clean it up. Very much appreciated that. Place is a little small and not a lot of seats. If you happen to come during lunch hour, be prepared to get the order to go and sit outside or across in the park center of the square. I had also asked for no jalapeños, but there were a few (no biggy, I just picked them off). Everything was really yummy. The drink was just the right amount of sweetness, with that rich coffee taste. The pork egg rolls had a good amount of filling, though I wish there was a little more sweet chili sauce. The sandwich bread was a little dry/hard, and I thought maybe it could have had a little more filling (probably if the floss and pate were on it, that would have made the difference). When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Doc Green's is actually paired with another restaurant it seems, but I was focused on the salad. They have some recommended combos but you can also create your own with a wide array of toppings. I was in heaven looking at all of the fresh veggies, proteins and dressings available. I decided to create my own and just went wild. I was super bummed because I ended up forgetting some favorites (like avocado) because I didn't see/notice them on the cold bar. I chose my dressings, had it mixed up and then checked out.
