Tonight's visit was my second but my husband's first visit. He made a 6:30 reservation but traffic was awful so we didn't arrive until 6:45. We were greeted with smiles and assurance and understanding. Once we were seated, the first thing I asked about was seafood egg rolls because I had them on my first visit. The server, Monae, checked with the manager and when she returned informed me that they were currently unavailable for dinner, but the manager would make an exception!! They didn't even realize we had traveled from Gwinnett to get these egg rolls!! Well worth the drive!! We also ordered a turkey wing plate and a catfish plate. Everything was delicious!! The portions were so large that we came home with full to-go-plates! The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service is great! The manager even came over to make sure our food met our expectations! The only downside for me is how long it takes us to get there! read more

Let me tell yall...from when we walked in the door until we got to our seats nothing but photo opps. It was still decorated with valentines decorations but it was so cute. Horrible customer service!!!! My party of 6 plus had a horrible experience. The majority of my party didn't get the food they ordered... the food was cold... the colas were flat... no refills.. several disputes with the bill, we were over charged. When we complained to the owner, he started bragging about his other business ( a restaurant) in which he apologized for the bad service and offered a discount at the other restaurant... we declined. It took over 3 hours to get the bill right... to no avail. Being black owned don't have anything to do with patronizing this business, my group came to eat dinner a celebrate... color don't have anything to do with receiving good customer service!!!! Do not waste your money. The concept was cute, the decor was unique, but that's about it. The food was a notch or two below a plain cafeteria-style restaurant or buffet. As much as the Vault tried to elevate the food, it was just plan, grade "C" "soul food" that could have been made in your own kitchen in 15-minutes. I don't mind paying a lot of money for a good meal, but this was major rip-off because the overall food quality was missing. The food was not properly plated. When a restaurant feeds you "cafeteria style" with bowls on the plate and uses paper napkins, it is a class-less place. What a joke! This place was recommended by one of my co-workers. The ambience was descent, the music was loud that you couldn't hear the conversation from your own party. We had the calamari; it was greasy. The atmosphere was very chill and aesthetically pleasing. The venue is designed as a vault inside a bank and has a very clean appeal. The service was phenomenal, the waiter was very attentive and friendly. I was given great recommendation and decided to with the Waffle sandwich which consisted of waffle, egg, cheese, bacon and a side of potatoes. This was my very first visit at THE BANK (THE VAULT). I will say, the decor was extremely pretty. There were two sides to where you could sit. The right side by the front entrance was more intimate and specifically designed for Valentine's Day. We were able party of 7. Before we were seated, the hostess explained to us that since the entire party wasn't present, they could seat us but our 90 min time would began. Or we could wait to be seated and we would lose our reservations and they would sit another party. Didn't really like that, but I get it. We chose to be seated. Shortly afterwards, the 2 missing ppl arrived. Everyone ordered their drinks first then preceded to place a food order. The wait was fairly long, but that was expected with the party size. There was one complaint with an order of crab cakes. Sometging else was ordered in place of tge crab cakes. Instead of them taking it off. Both items were charged. They were entirely too salty. We visited here many times but went again (11/15/25) for my sister's birthday brunch. Some of the people in our party had never been. Our reservation was for 11:30. The service was amazing! The atmosphere was very calm and adult like with wonderful music (R&b ) playing throughout. The day started very slowly with the drink orders. My wife and I ordered the "the only drink I'm having" which it took forever to come out. Later the server explained that they did t have all the ingredients (dry ice). For a $60 drink, I think this should have been expressed as soon as possible. The drink was strong and we shared it with the whole table but presentation wise, I'd give it a 8.5/10. *My friend who is also a bartender had the million dollar margarita and she rated it a 6/10 (I tasted it and it wasn't great). Service was terrible. We came for our friend birthday as a small party of 3. Our reservation was at 7:30pm. We ordered drinks , appetizers and entrees at one time. We received our drinks and appetizers 20 min after being seated but our entrees was not served until 9:30pm. We were too upset to eat so we decided to just get to go boxes. This was ridiculous. They claimed the kitchen was backup but two tables that sat behind us got all of there food before us. We asked our waitress multiple times about our order. My daughter and I chose the firecracker salmon glazed bites as our appetizer 10/10 I had the turkey wings (baked) with collards and macaroni and cheese. It was too salty so I sent back. Manager came over and was really nice about it so he went to find out what they did to make them so salty and that's when they found out that Apparently the cook added both turkey gravy and chicken gravy and combined made it too salty. The waitress and manager allowed me to change for something else. He did have them make me another order of turkey wings after I had chosen another meal chicken and Shrimp Alfredo. The manager was so nice and professional. Based on their policies, if you don't like your food, you can't send back for comp. They will make your purchase. So don't go in there not liking something and think you're going to get it comped bc that's not the case. In my case, it was just too salty bc of them adding two gravies. The Vault did not disappoint! Honestly, I didn't know what to expect since I hadn't researched it before my visit. Upon entry, I was greeted with nothing but magnificent vibes and stunning décor. Security checked my bags at the door, and the host welcomed me warmly, allowing me to wait at the bar until our party arrived. I used this time for photo ops--the décor is picture-perfect! It's not hood or cheesy but well thought out and classy. I was in awe as I walked through the dimly lit, Valentine-themed decorations. While sitting at the bar, we chatted with the bartender about the establishment. Would you believe she came from behind the bar to give us a personal tour? The large room behind the vault door is used for events, while the main dining room serves as the primary space. The food, especially for the price, was on point. (Don't tell them, but I expected to pay more!) Nevertheless, it was delicious. Our waiter was extremely attentive--even ensuring our table got a hookah, despite them not being available at the moment. To top it off, the owner gifted us not one but two bottles of champagne and took the time to make small talk. The entire staff was phenomenal! Top Tier! Parking was plenty. I'm not sure if they do valet but it was no valet when we came. We self parked with no issues. The service at the bar was amazing. I decided to try the Rich B****. It was pretty good but for $18 I was expecting more. After that, I tried the millionaire margarita but it was far too sweet for me so I didn't finish it. I'm not knocking stars over it because it's all personal preference. Let's get into the food. My husband had the house salad with Cesar dressing and he loved it. It was nicely put together as well. I appreciate an establishment that doesn't just throw a salad in a bowl and puts a little effort into how it looks. The complimentary cornbread was cool. Too sweet for me, again, but that's personal lol. I think it's a nice touch. I had the catfish with Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts. Everything was absolutely delicious and let's get into how my meal came with not 1, not 2, but 3 pieces of catfish! Well worth the money. The portions were all reasonable. My only complaint about the food was that the brussel sprouts was more of a medley. I would've preferred just Brussels sprouts and not extra peppers, onions, etc that was added to it. We had three rounds of drinks: 2-margaritas, and 1- RB. The margaritas were good, the Rich bitch, not so much. I'm not a big drinker but I do socialize and my opinion, neither were strong. The one thing that I really did like was the wings. I ordered the turkey with cabbage, Mac n cheese and yams. If you plan on having a birthday dinner here, they do will not hold your cake, store it or anything like that so you will need to plan for that. Our server was nice but she kicked us out after an hour and a half even though we weren't finished eating or drinking. Apparently there is a time limit on the tables. I ordered the turkey wings with mac & collards and my partner had the turkey ribs with mac and cabbage on the side. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, athough the turkey was a tad drier than usual on this particular visit. Our waitress even offered a birthday shot of alcohol which was much appreciated lol. I also enjoy the ample parking provided in the private lot and security does check bags at the front door and I believe there is a metal detector. Went on a Wednesday for date night. We were looking for live music and saw on their IG they had live R&B sing along on Wednesdays at 8pm. We made reservations same day. When we got to the restaurant it was pretty empty so we're were seated right away. We asked about the R&B night the manager who seated us told us they don't have anything like that on Wednesdays. For the meal my partner ordered lamb which he enjoyed with the fried rice. I ordered a red snapper. When I cut into the fried snapper I recognized it was very rubbery and under cooked.
