Westside Motor Lounge filled a void that was pretty uninhabited when it first opened. There wasn't much in the area to eat or drink at in the time. The last time I was there earlier this year, it's definitely been much developed. I have a love-hate relationship with Westside Motor Lounge. My first time here I stopped by after a food festival down the street at Guardian Works and my brand new car was parked in the uncovered parking lot - and of course got hailed on. The hail dent marks of shame are still there on the hood and roof of my car to this day two and a half years later. Their cheeseburger with fries is perfect with a beer - they have a great draft beer selection and whenever I see Lord Grey, I have to order it. They also have a draft espresso martini that seems lazy but I'm not mad at it since it's pretty tasty. The kale Caesar salad is a great option if you're wanting something a bit lighter. Overall, I would probably be back when I'm in the area, especially if they have live music going, whether it's for beer drinking kind of night or a draft espresso martini kind of night!
At this point, Westside Motor Lounge is my go-to when I want a great atmosphere, strong cocktails, and some of the best wings in the city. I stop by every year for their holiday bar and seasonal cocktails, and it never disappoints. This visit, I tried the Clausemopolitan, which was really good and perfectly on theme for the holidays. Of course, I couldn't come here without ordering wings. I went with the Honey Jerk wings and the Lemon Pepper wings, and once again, they were phenomenal. Consistently crispy, well seasoned, and full of flavor. These are truly some of the best wings around, and they never miss. After food and drinks, I decided to pop into the Echo Room to dance off the cocktails and wings. That's when I learned there's now a $10 cover charge. I don't necessarily mind a cover, but it was new for me, so I opted to hang outside and dance a bit while waiting for my ride. Even outside, the vibe was still good, which honestly says a lot about the space. Overall, Westside Motor Lounge is a solid recommendation, especially if you're bringing friends or visitors from out of town. The indoor-outdoor setup is great, the cocktails are well done, and the food, especially the wings, is consistently excellent. This spot remains a staple for me.
Came here for the holiday pop up diner! It was so much fun. Good food and drinks. Disco Santa was definitely my highlight and I will be back before the Christmas season is over. I had the shrimp po boy and it was good.
We came here for the holiday bar. It was decorated nicely but was pretty empty. The drinks were pretty good. But for how empty it was, it took forever for he to get our drinks and seemed like a lot of miscommunication behind the bar. Whoever was dj'ing though was amazing!
I love everything about WML except for the food. They have got to improve the food experience especially on days when there are big events. Each time I have ordered food I have been disappointed. It's usually cold and not well seasoned at all. This salad for example was drenched way too much in dressing and the chicken bites were cold and hard to chew. Love the frozen margaritas and the vibes here. The service at the bar is fine - nothing spectacular. Super casual space with no dress code. Check it out!
Met a friend here for a trivia night and had a good time. I've been trying to get out here for an event for some time now, but it just hasn't happened. I will definitely be back though. I arrived a bit late, but was still able to get in and sit down. There was plenty of space, but not enough tables for the amount of people that were present. That is a good problem to have though. They are cashless and the drinks are served in plastic cups. I got a pink Cadillac margarita and enjoyed it. They gave me the option to have tajin around the rim and of course I said yes to that. There is so much space outside for events and activities. I can't wait to come back to experience one of their outdoor events. I liked the decor and setup. It will be nice to come just to eat and have some drinks.
First time here, and honestly not what I expected. I stopped by for the Pop Up Christmas Bar hoping for a few Christmas "Spirits" and photo ops. This is an indoor/outdoor venue, the outdoor area is very spacious. However, I was immediately turned off seeing children running around, not my idea of a chill night out but I digress. Upon entering the grounds it's not really clear where to go, we just wondered around and finally found the indoor bar area. There was quite a bit of Christmas lights on around the grounds and decor inside the bar area but nothing spectacular. The Christmas drink menu was not very appealing to me, a lot of the drinks were made with coconut or cranberry. It seems they have quite a few specialty events and guest DJs so maybe I'll try them again for something like that.
Great community space for all types of events. My first visit here was for the Atlanta Vegan Social weekly event & had a wonderful time. Westside Motor Lounge offers indoor-outdoor food, full service restaurant & bar amongst a vibing backdrop. The outdoor courtyard has a wired stage, a beer garden, shuffleboard courts, fire-pits & areas for Food Trucks.

So I was here for an event and an event went off really well. There's plenty of space for everybody to move outside, and there's even some seating. It's not a kind of spot where you can bring your own lawn chair necessarily, but they do have patio furniture sprawled throughout. So for parking they do have parking areas. And they have a parking lot as well as a structure. But honestly I would suggest you doing a ride share. Get a lift or an Uber The event that I went to had multiple bars there so there's always a place to get a drink. And to catch some shade! I won't fault the establishment for this but the bars didn't very slow but in all fairness there was a lot of people there that they probably couldn't handle the capacity. So you may be standing in line for a good 15 to 20 minutes just for one drink. It's not like anybody was in a rush but that is something that's definitely noticeable. It was set up very well and it was very clean. They made sure to make it presentable for us. They have several bars and they had a place to order food. The food they had there on the inside was mostly fried foods like bar foods. You may get some chicken wings or a fish sandwich or something along those lines. So don't expect anything fancy but if you've been sitting in the sun and drinking you'll need something on your stomach. The sun was the worst part about it, there was not really much shade. Which if you're trying to be outside and you want that kind of feeling, it's not a big deal. But in the Atlanta area where the heat can get to 95°, it was pretty aggressive and they didn't have that many places that had umbrellas or anything similar for that. That wasn't a deal breaker, but it was just the fact that they didn't have as much shaded areas to go to and there was a high number of people that really didn't do well. But to compensate, they did have free water drums there that you can fill cups with so they did take us into consideration with that so I thought that was really good. A lot of places may charge for water but they knew it was going to be hot so they gave free water. They have food and drink of course, and they also have hookah that they were selling there as well. So you could really just sit there and vibe all day. I thought it was really good, and they had people who had cigars there so they are smoke friendly shop if you're interested in that. Overall I'm going to try to go to more events here, I really enjoyed the environment. Maybe not it 97° outside lol but I thought it was still very well put together. It was peaceful, security didn't have any issues, nobody was fighting, had a great time.

Atleast on the holiday menu. I was disappointed to see automatic gratuity added to drink orders from bar. Not sure if it's a new trend but if your prices are steep the owners can afford to pay their bar tenders a living wage and not 'enforce' gratuity. (20%) I will not be visiting again Their social media advertised silent disco which no one at the spot knew about. I had also called to confirm. Very disappointing
Love love love this spot!! This is such a hidden gem in Westside. The large outdoor event space is perfect for the weekend. They have lots of different fun areas to hang out with friends. The cocktails are awesome and they have great food!! I was shocked a fun spot like this could have such great food. They have an amazing chef we got to meet who created amazingly crafted dishes. Our favorites were the Green Goddess Salad(amazing dressing!!) and the Sticky Garlic Wings!! You need to try this spot Also- dog friendly!!
The people that work here are so nice! If i ask for a cocktail not on the menu, they will make it for me. This place is for friends and cocktails for sure! We always bring our dog because he loves the outdoor area with seating and games! Its always a vibe. I do wish they had more live music on the weekends. That would be my only suggestion. The food is good- not coming for the food though its just a small menu and not many shareable items.
I've been here a few times and must say I have had entirely too much fun each visit. It's located right at Bankhead and Northside so easy to get. There's free parking on site but if it's full, there's plenty of nearby options. The space itself is fun and a cool place to have drinks, eat, and hang. There's a full service bar and the drink menu is always good. Plenty of tvs around, a huge outdoor area, and I like the fact that it's a place where you can kinda move around in terms of hanging inside a bit and going outside for a bit for a change in scenery. During my last visit back, I had the catfish nuggets and my husband had the Philly cheesesteak. The catfish nuggets were hot and fresh but the fries were a tad bit salty for me. My husband enjoyed his Philly and the portion sizes were good for the price. They do add gratuity (20%) in the price which I get but that also means service should be stellar at all times and there have been a few times I've gone and the service was very ho hum. Overall I enjoy coming here and have a great time. The food is good, the drinks are good, and this is definitely a place to just enjoy the day or night. read more
My husband and I stopped by to catch part of the NBA Finals, and it was a great experience! The crowd was manageable, and the space is impressive--there's a huge outdoor area that looks perfect for events and parties, plus a spacious indoor setup. The service was okay, everyone was kind but the people at the bar were a bit slow. The star of the show was definitely the lemon pepper wings--big, juicy, and with a unique flavor that stands out from the typical Atlanta lemon pepper. We also tried the turkey chili, cheese, and jalapeño nachos, which were just okay. Our mocktails, the ATLIEN and Purple Rain, were both delicious. We ended up leaving before the first quarter was over, but only because we decided to finish watching at home. I'd love to come back when there's a DJ and dancing to experience the full vibe! read more

Cinco de mayo fun here at westside lounge, they had an event here, and it was a ton of fun. It was my first time in the venue, I didn't know how huge it was because I only saw it from the side of the road. Very spacious, has both indoor and outdoor sections to it. There was plenty of space for different events and occasions, and I was very shocked to see the entire space. The service was really good considering the number of people that were there, definitely long lines to get food but that was to be expected. Bartenders were friendly and responsive again for a busy day like Cinco de mayo it was extremely busy. I was a little disappointed in the food, not because of taste though, it was the lack of variety there were only two different vendors for food and they were obviously both selling tacos. With that being said the food was good, I just would have loved to see more food trucks/vendors. read more
I've been here on a Friday night and a Saturday night. Neither times we're too busy but Saturday was little busier. This is a laid back spot to grab a few drinks and late night drinks bonus, they have a few tvs so you might be able to catch a game. They don't have an extensive drink menu but maybe that'll change over time. I have yet to dine on the dinner menu but I've had the fries in the late night snack menu. They're seasoned well and a good amount for the price. I've had a few if the cocktails with the electric echo being my favorite (mezcal drink) and a close second being the exile in English (gin drink with refreshing flavors). As they're still kind of newish, they've been out of a few things each time I've gone, from drinks on tap to the snack foods. The bartenders are friendly and make good drinks. I think this will be an awesome place to go to in the summer with the lawn activities, beer garden, and stage they have outside. Also some nice decor and random stuff for IG pics. read more
I recently went to Westside Motor Lounge to a yoga class at Bankhead Coffee. After class I went next door to grab food. I ordered the BBQ Mushroom sandwich with fries and my friend ordered the sticky chicken wings that had lemongrass pepper and garlic with a side of fries. The food was so good! I love oyster mushrooms and these were seasoned so well. I would definitely get food there again. read more

Visited on a Saturday with my husband for a quick bite in the area. It's a cute spot with plenty of seating outdoors and a garage style door. It was a sunny day but a little windy so we opted to sit inside. When you go, you can choose a table and then you'll go to the counter to order food and drinks. Or you can order drinks at the bar. The menu isn't extensive. He wasn't that hungry so he ordered the fried oyster appetizer with a beer. I ordered the mushroom sandwich with fries and a margarita. He chose a table while I went next door to the coffee shop to use the bathroom. The coffee shop was quiet and spacious. There are 2 bathrooms, nice size and clean. When I got back to the table he had the drinks, so we sipped, talked, and watched one of the many college football games that were on. Food came out and the oyster dish seemed a little small for the price and didn't seem to be a sharable size. My mushroom sandwich on the other hand looked delicious. The fried oysters were ok, nothing special. My sandwich was good and flavorful. The coleslaw added a nice contrast to the smoky mushrooms. Fries could've been more crispy but they were good. He enjoyed his beer and my margarita was ok, nothing special. They do need to redo the parking lol. There were dips in there that made me scared for my car, but my car was fine. Until they redo it, just be careful. Overall we had a good time and it's a nice place to watch sports, as many people were doing, with the many different TVs. read more

The food was very good I had the smash burger with a side salad w/ ginger drawing good fresh also the salad wasn't your standard crappy salad it was really good so I'm Not mad I passed on the fries lol The burger juicy the toppings were also good the side of pickles tasty Let m tell you about our server Cameron he was breath of fresh air very friendly a total asset to your establishment I will be returning will bring friends to enjoy the ganes also the outside just one thing the music could be a little lower so I can hear the server better but other than that Please going forward you really should inform your guest a 20% gratuity is automatically applied to your check also all side items are extra thought there I go thinking again that the side items come with whatever sandwich you order it's kinda disappointing to be blindsided read more

Been riding passed this place for almost a year and finally stopped by to check it out. Unfortunately not much to see or do here. Great concept, nice patio and open area but I cannot speak on the food because we left 5 minutes after we sat down. Clearly this place is mostly about drinking.....several pages of drinks on the menu and very small food options. Literally just a 1 page food menu with 4-5 entree choices and a few side items. 5 minutes was all that we needed to figure out that there was nothing for us to eat or do here and we needed to find a place to go.....luckily I had several back up places for us to go. Message to owner/ manager: this place has potential. While I don't expect to have a huge 3-4 page menu it would be nice to have a few more options on the menu and some more games. If you don't care about food, just want some drinks and air condition to cool off then this might be the right spot for you. Nothing for me to return for..... read more

On scale of 1-5, hot Chicken Curry Sandwich was a 3.5. Food was fresh, fast and pretty good. Service was friendly. Hosts and Bar Service provided great experience. Ambiance was a great indoor/outdoor scenery. We went on a hot day, so we s stayed under the deck, however they do have setting that provides umbrellas for shading. Indoor has great seating away from a hot day. Unisex restrooms were clean. Game areas for you to enjoy outdoor activities. 20% gratuity added to all orders ( food and bar) Overall it was a great experience. This would be a perfect spot for the fall and spring. Would have been great to have more fans and umbrella options to enjoy outdoor seating more. read more
It was a great vibe and I would definitely go again. Now I hate gentrification but this is a cute little gentrified spot. The prices aren't too terrible but it can add up quickly depending on how much you eat or drink. We came for a get together and I loved the Westside Cocktail. I'd come back to get that again. The employees were so friendly and asked all of our questions. They explained everything and we were able to laugh with them. I'd come back for a cute little date or get together. The DJ was really really good but the crowd didn't appreciate it. It was a Friday afternoon but it wasn't packed. The food was pretty basic and the automatic 20% gratuity is a little high. Such a cool spot to grab a with friends. There's a lot of outdoor seating with plenty of outdoor games to keep you entertained. There's a lot of s for those looking to catch a few games. They have a pretty expansive menu, whether you're craving a smashed burger or half a grilled chicken dish. I also like that they incorporated parts of the original building, which was mechanics auto repair shop & the bartenders wear the mechanic's Dickey's uniform. Come check them out. read more

We drove to check out this place on a Sunday for lunch as we have never eaten here yet. It is somewhat conveniently located and has a really cool vibe. They have a really awesome outdoor setup up with games and stage for live music. But really all they have is the vibe and setup. We were the only people there on a Sunday at lunch time and service was nonexistent. Everyone seemed to not be at work and with flat indifferent attitudes. Normally I wouldn't care but the service was nonexistent so it just added to it. The food was quite mediocre and not worth the try. I would probably only come here again for a beer and games/ live music outside. Save your money! read more
One of the beat places to go to for a good time. The food and cocktails are great. Open late nights on Friday and Saturday. They have valet parking if you need it. Staff were friendly. Large enough space to where two separate events can occur and the place is so huge that you would not know. Certainly will come back. read more

Was waiting with anticipation and so happy this spot is finally officially open! The space is HUGE with different concepts and areas in the works for patrons to enjoy. Sat at the main bar and ordered the Fried Chicken Bites (with the sauce on the side) and Collards & Cornbread to eat and a Rosé wine to drink. The Fried Chicken Bites were seasoned and fried just right to make an amazing snack. The Collards were cooked well and had great texture but lacked the flavor punch one would expect from Grandma's collards. The Cornbread was light and fluffy with what tasted like bits of creamed corn but it was not sweet at all. I like my cornbread with a hint of sweet but it was not a deal breaker because it was still pretty good. The rosé and the other drinks I had were good and I enjoyed the overhead music that was playing through the speakers. Overall, this place is a great addition to the neighborhood and I can see myself frequently patronizing it, as it is a cool and laid back vibe. read more
